Charles had been sitting tight waiting for Arrow to join the fight but when he looked back she was no-where to be seen. "Sh*t.." He mumbled. Peering over a table he spotted the cleaners attacking Kent's position. The shotgun wouldn't work and he didnt have the time to aim his BOW. Out of his pack he pulled a 9mm pistol Firing a few rounds they backed up into their respective corners giving Charles to get a good look around the room. It was then that he spotted the large concrete cooling pip thirty yards from Kent's position.
"KENT! Do you have any explosives on you? Look right, we need to get into that giant pipeline for our escape." More bullets hit his cover causing him to grit his teeth. I'll cover you if you can make your way over their. I only have one extra clip so make it count." At that moment he popped up from his cover and started firing shots at their attackers. It made them fall back but his aim was so good with fire-arms. He wasn't going to hit anything but it was affective for the time being.

"That's cuz you are," Art said as she walked up to the group that still hadn't made their way onto the boat. "Now go," she ordered watching them file into the boat. She stood on the dock waiting for the rest of the group to file in and a second group to file into the second boat. "The second boat will only be going half way. There going to be your relay to us."
"Are you coming?" Rio asked as she turned around.
"No, I need to stay here and keep watch on the train while Griffon is off with you. Do not worry, I put my life in that man's hands more than once. He wont let you down," she said as she turned to walk down the shore.
Rio shook her head as she motioned for the boat man to take off.
Art walked to Griffon and patted him on the back. "Come back in one piece, and watch your own back. I don't want a repeat of what happened to Billy. Especially with you," she said before walking off.

Griffon smirked. "Didn't know you cared mam." He snickered. He then revved the jetski to life. "Don't be jealous. Chances are if someone gets eaten it's going to be me. I'm the distraction here, if you want to change places just speak up. When no-one did he smiled and took off into the water and tossed in an orb. "I'll use this device to detect sizmic activity, those big fishies have to still be around here somewhere. "What are you guys waiting for? Afraid of alittle water?"

“Afraid of a boot in the ass?” Daniel said at Griffin’s speedy takeoff. He started up the boat when everyone was on board and secured, as well as the equipment, and sped away from the dock. He had a feeling the trip across the water was going to be the hardest part. There were way too many factors that couldn’t be allowed for. When they got to land, for instance, falling to the ground too far to one side wouldn’t dump them into a body of water from which they could be eaten. Unless some a**hole had gotten the bright idea to toss a shark into a pond. That remained to be seen.
They had traveled a ways away from the shore they started at, and still nothing on their end.
“You catching anything on your end?” He said into his radio to Griffon. If he was, they would need to go help him out. A bullet only traveled for a foot or two under water before it lost all of its velocity to the rapid pressure change. One thing an action movie got right, diving into some water to escape gunmen.

Elijha spent her time below deck and out of the sunlight that way she could keep her hood off her head. She looked around the room, and then over to Rio who had her nose stuck into the computer. She thought about asking questions, but she didn't know where to start or how much would be going over board. She figured being secluded for a lifetime she would have more questions for people, but when she got a chance she always got scared when it came to it.
"Were about fifteen minutes out from our drop point. We'll be taking a small boat sorta like a life raft into the shore. That way we don't draw attention to us from those on the island," she explained. She looked up to Elijha and smiled a bit. "Don't worry, you have some great people backing you up," she said as she stood up. She started packing her laptop up when the boat took a hard shift.
It rocked violently throwing both Elijha and Rio into the floor. The waves from the rock over shot the edge of the boat showering the deck with water. "What was that?" Elijha asked as she staggered to gain footing as she stood. The boat continued to rock violently as if it was out in a hurrican.
"Those creatures, there large in size, and if they swim within so far of the surface they can cause giant waves," she explained as she staggered to the deck. "What does the sonar say?" she asked the pilot.
"To many, there just showing up as one huge mass. I can't tell," he said as both of them once more went tumbling to the ground from the rocking.
She reached up for the mic and keyed it up. "Griffion, were being swarmed by those creatures. Becareful, because I know if were being hit by this meany the rest are sure to come for you," she called out.
Elijha threw on her hood, and the sunglasses as she made her way up to the deck. Only to meet Malcom half way on the deck, and knock him to the ground as the boat tilted to the left. The waves soaked them as they slid across the deck, both of them using their feet to brace against the railing so they wouldn't end up in the water. "If this keeps up we'll be in the water!" she shouted.
"I know that," Rio called out as she stumbled down from the top stairs. "That's exactly what their trying to do. Get us in the water to make it easer pickings."

Malcom jammed his sword into the deck to give Elijah something to hold onto, whilst he shimmied along to the equipment boxes. He dug through the mountaneering gear and found a camming device and a length of cable.
"Danny, got a plan, grab one of those spearguns."
Malcom dashed back across to the boat, grabbing the second spear gun for himself, hooking one end of the cable to the spear on his own gun and directing Daniel to do the same.
"Saw this trick used by a farmer in africa to take down a pair of frenzied bulls. Though he didn't use spears, the theory is sound and tested though. We hit two separate ones, and the cable keeps them joined, the more they pull, the more the camming device draws the line in, get them either fighting among themselves, or at least tether them too close together to attack. and we've all watched animal planet right? The predators go right for the weak and bleeding prey rather than us."
Malcom headed back to the edge, trying to pick out a decent shot.

Like most of the others, Daniel pitched to the side when the boat jumped, landing near the heap on the deck that was Malcolm and Elijha.
“We should have got a bigger boat.” He said, sitting up only to have a wave of water wash over him. “Goddamn it…” He said as he shook his head and wiped water from his face. He looked over at Malcolm as he explained his idea on using the spear guns to keep them from being attacked. It sounded good on the surface, but he didn’t mention the thought in the back of his mind. The one that was asking ‘what if those things both get the idea to submerge and saw our boat in half with the cable?’ A pulley system wasn’t going to keep that from happening if they really wanted to go down.
He grabbed one of the guns and went to the opposite edge of the boat, ramming one of the spears down the barrel of the gun and attached the other end of the cable. He steadied the launcher on the side of the boat, looking for someplace he could fire. The monster was pretty easy to spot, sure, but where could he stick the spear so that it would stay? He finally settled on center mass. Plenty of flesh for the spear to do its job and stay put.
He pulled the trigger and heard the massive discharge of C02, followed by the same sound behind him as Malcolm fired. He knew he hit, he could see the spear sticking slightly out of the creatures back. He reached for a new spear in case he would have to fire again to try to subdue the creature and jammed it down the barrel, taking a look over his shoulder to see how Malcolm had fared.

Rio looked around the boat as the shift caused her to hit the wall on the stairs. Grimacing slightly she watched as Daniel and Malcom shot at the creatures. Their work seeming to work for the moment, but she didn't know for how long. "Hey, if you can move tie everything down!" she shouted. She looked at Elijha climbing to her feet. "Elijha stay with Riko and Daniel, and help them tie everything down," she said she looked at Malcom not to far from her. "Help them save the equipment. I have to try and get a hold of Griffon. He's still not responding," she said as she headed down the stairs.
The boat rocked even more as the wounded and fighting creatures continued to try and pull away from each other. Though the other creatures around the boat directed their attention to the wounded creatures as they dove deeper. The creatures around following, but leaving in their wake several waves that continued to growl larger. The boat continued to rock, but in one way. Elijha felt the ground beneath her slipping as she hit the deck and continued to slide. She hit the railing hard letting out a cry that was muffled by the wave of water as she was thrown over into the sea.
Rio was on the radio trying to get a hold of Griffon when she felt the boat shift. She was thrown across the room hitting the wall. She didn't cry out until she felt the table slam into her. She gasped heavily as she spit up a bit of blood, and tried to push it off of her. She felt the boat shifting again knocking the table away from her, and she fell right along with it hitting the roof of the cabin. Still gasping for air as she struggled for safety, before being thrown against the cabinets on the adjourning wall. Then against the roof once more as the boat settled down, along with a rush of water.
The boat continued to follow as it rolled completely under coming up half way, before settling upside down.

"Cr@p" He muttered watching the boat roll over spotting a giant squid latching onto the bottom of the ship wielding layers of razor sharp teeth tearing at the hull. Once the boat was upwards again he turned on his mic. "You've got a squid latched on!" Just as he said that a number of tenticals raised out of the water. While two latched on and began lowering the boat the others swung ciolently at the crew. "It's chewing at the bottom of the boat. It's arms are the least of your worriers. Your best bet is shooting through the floor. A few bullet holes are better than the hole that its making right now."

Malcom was in the middle of reloading his spear gun when the boat flipped, throwing him overboard with the rest of the group. He surfaced to grab air, noticing the squid that was lying lengthways across the bottom of the boat, solitary by nature, it must have been attracted to the other creatures when they started bleeding. Mal worked out a quick head count of everyone who got off, Daniel, Elijah, the pilot....
"Where is Rio?"
"I think she was below deck." The pilot yelled back.
"Damn, gather everyone up, I'm going under."
He slung the spear gun over his shoulder and grabbed his breathing mask from his belt and put it on, diving below the surface to get closer to the boat, the squid was flailing too much on the surface to risk it. On the inverted deck he found his sword still where he jammed it, pulling it out and swimming towards the cargo. Finding the inflatable rafts and emergency supplied in bouyant waterproof boxes, he cut them loose and pushed them out from under the boat, letting them float towards the others. Expecting them to handle it from there, Malcom found the inverted stairway below decks, following it up to find Rio slumped over, thankfully there was still air in the room.
"Hey kid, you okay?" He holstered his sword and helped her up. "You hurt?"
Screeching was heard from the upper side of the boat, along with shredding metal. Besides it's eight tentacles, squids have an extra two longer more powerful 'whips' lined with talons rather than suction cups. In the underside where the ten limbs begin there is an eagle like beak, currently trying to eat it's way inside. Malcom pulled his spear gun off his back whilst supporting Rio.
"No chance for a break I guess."

Griffon turned the jetski splashing water into the air and turned towards the sinking boat drawing out his sub-machine gun. Once he was in close distance he revved to a stop and took aim at the thick stalks of the squid. The creature squeeled as the hot lead tore off two of it's tenticals and it instantly slashed at Griffon almost throwing him from his craft. He was about to take out another when he heard gunfire wizz by striking the boat. Looking back he spotted a speed boat with three men weilding machine guns aimed at him. Touching the button on his headset he talked into the mic.
"I'll keep the bipeds busy, I'll try to get that creature off your backs for a sec." With that said he grabbed one of the pineapple grenades and pulled the pin tossing it into the water close to the squid but far enough away from the sinking ship so it wouldn't do any damage. With that he took off in a zig-zag pattern towards the attacking vessle just as the grenade went off stunning the squid.

Daniel locked his legs together and tucked his arms to his side when he felt the boat leave the water, heaving to the side. He hit the water feet first, flinging his arms out to avoid going under any more than he could help. About that time, he saw Malcolm making his way under water, cut some crates free, and then go further below deck.
Daniel swam to the top and looked around. It was looking bad, but they had some toys to deal with it. But that’d have to wait. He happened to look over to his right and saw the grenade. He dove under the water again, feeling the explosive blast through the water. He didn’t feel any shrapnel, and he doubted he caught any, but top side would probably be a different story. He swam back to the top and took a look around. Shrapnel had embedded into the boat and the monster, as well as some of the crates. Luckily, the grenade was meant for soft targets. The damage to the boat and crates was minimal. He didn’t stop to see what had happened to the squid.
He reached for the inflatable raft, pulling the cord and wrapping the rope around his hand. He started to swim around the area, looking for Elijha. He hadn’t seen her since she went over the edge. That didn’t bode well.

Elijha easily spotted Mikey swimming around with the large raft. She grinned sligthly as she waved her arms in the air. "Hey!" she shouted as she swam over to him pulling one of the large crates that still managed to float along the water. "Found some nice ammo," she said as she looked around. "Where is Malcom and Rio?" she asked looking at him. It was about then that one of the large tenticles splashed down in front of them sending them both off in different directions once more.
"Where going to have to blow the boat!" Riko shouted as he swam up to the two. "There is no saving that thing upside down. Everything would be flooded. Not to mention we have another boat not that far behind. They should be here shortly anywise," he pointed out.
----------------------------
Rio bobbed slightly as Malcom held her up in the water. She was slowly comming around, and shortly after she found that she really didn't want to be awake. She let out a painful moan and just laid their in Malcom's arms. "It . . . it hurts to move," she said a bit raspy. She could move her body but there was so much pain when she did. "It hurts to breath . . . and my legs tingle," she said tiredly. She could feel herself growing nausious knowing well enough that she was on the verge of passing out. She fought as best as she could to stay awake.

Malcom carred Rio around as he searched for any salvageable gear that would help. The boat rocked from the explosions and the squids reactions, the two tried to keep stable and avoid rolling crates, chairs and tables. Eventually, they found a life jacket, some of the barbed spears for the gun, and a thermite grenade. Most of everything else was waterlogged or junked. He led Rio over to the inverted stairs and put the life jacket over her head.
"Okay, we're going to go down here, then once we get clear you pull the cord to inflate and you'll be up top in no time." He gave her his breather. "I'll be right with you."
A loud crack sounded as one of the tentacles burst through the hull and slapped Malcom aside, barely missing Rio. He staggered up and tried to get past it with no luck.
"Change of plan, you get up as fast as you can, I gotta keep this thing busy."
He pulled his gun from his back and loaded the barbed spear, finding one of the straps used to hold the cargo steady, he tied the thermite grenade to the middle of the spear. The squid was getting more aggressive, breaking another two tentacles in and finishing chewing a hole with it's beak, screeching as it snapped inside looking for a meal. Apparently its instinct was telling it 'shellfish', if it had to do this much ripping, the insides were going to be tasty.
Mal avoided the limbs as he stood under it's mouth, aiming upwards and pulling the pin.
If I live through this, I'll probably stink of overcooked seafood for a week. He pulled the trigger.
