Ellen immediately ran to a nearby shelf and started moving things, trying to find something, anything, to help with this creature. Unfortunately, not a lot was available. There were a few jars of unlabeled items covered in dust and what looked like insect carcasses. Also unfortunately, she started making more noise when a few jars fell to the ground and shattered. She did, however, find something useful: a little chest that was not covered in dust. She opened the chest and found two boxes of handgun bullets but no gun along with a healing spray.
Thinking that there would be something more useful to her, she opened the drawer of a nearby nightstand. The only items inside was a half-filled flask and two books. The smaller of the two was just a list of names and phone numbers. The other seemed to look like a journal.
Suddenly, more shuffling started to come. It was a bit faster than the other zombies, yet also slower than some of the other monsters. She couldn't see what it was, but she didn't want to wait to find out.
She handed the bullets at Miroslav and placed the books and healing items in her bag. They could be useful when they got to a safer area. She looked at Miroslav, ignoring the reporter temporarily, "I can assure you, I know probably about as much as any normal citizen here." She probably didn't sound convinced, but she would go into more detail later.
"Hey wait, those books...I want to see them!" the reporter demanded of her, "The world is entitled to know the secrets of this city!" Ellen shook her head and stood in the same position.
He took a few steps outside the open door. Why, Ellen couldn't tell; but before he could say another threat or ask another question, a monster stood in the doorway, ready to attack.

Miroslav Antic was bored because of this reporter and his persistent questions. He warned him for a last time. There would be no another chance for this reporter. The Umbrella agent turned at him to talk.
'' Are you listening to me ?! You will die in 2 minutes but you still are after your silly questions. Sorry but i have no intention of letting you leave this place alive... ''
Monters were always interfering with his plans but he decided to get rid of that disturbing reporter this time. But he had to destroy the monster first. Because killing this man was more easier than killing that life form. He warned Ellen and opened fire against the creature. After a short battle it collapsed. He had many plans in his mind but it was not the right time to execute them. After thinking about his future plans for a minute he decided to approach them.
'' This time you will die ! I have no time to play. I got work to do. Sorry.''
He pointed his gun at him but didn't pull the trigger yet...

The reporter immediately put his hands up and kept quiet...for now. Since Miroslav was in no mood to talk, his next target was the tall teenager. "How about you? I'm sure you know more about Dr. Moreno's work. What about that cat?"
Ellen said nothing, but instead stroked the chest of Butter, who jumped back onto her shoulder. The animal purred at her, but hissed at Donny. After a minute, Ellen finally decided to speak up, finally having enough of this nonsense that was going on with the reporter. "I'm not answering anything to someone who spends his time spying on things he shouldn't and ruining the reputations of innocent people." When the reporter's mouth opened, Ellen continued, "I know about the rumors about Darcy Stevens, the Milana siblings, and the local D.K. market 'scandal'. After the lies you spread, do you really think anybody would believe you even if I said something?" Ellen named a few previous events were lies were spread and reputations ruined thanks to the reporter.
Ellen stuck her head outside a nearby window and winced at the smell of what was probably rotten meat lit aflame. It was quite a distance away, but whatever was making the smell was getting closer with every few seconds. "I think we need to leave. More monsters are coming and this place is really small. We might get overrun."

''Stop talking ! Both of you ! ''
Miroslav cut their words like a sharp knife. He was interested in Ellen's words about reporter and his false claims. He was an Umbrella agent and had to discover everything. Because there could be a potential danger for his company and it's future.
'' Ellen, i have to ask you something. What are you talking about ? What did he do ? Would you like to tell me more about him ? Actually you don't have any other chance but to tell me. ''
Antic was watching outside at the same time. Ellen was right. They had to leave immediately otherwise they could be a meal for the monsters.
''Anyway we will talk later. And hey, you are coming with us. We have unfinished business. Move. We are going to the Umbrella building. ''
He poked the reporter's shoulder with his Mp5 and they left the place.

Ellen followed Antic through the streets. They were quiet. Eerily quiet, as if there was nothing wandering around the streets. No moans of monsters, clicks on the ground, or faint caws of crows. All she heard was the sound of a flame from a nearby parked car. There was a slight drizzle that started and mixed with the scent of fire. Normally, this would be a good thing because it would mean that there wasn't anything around her, but in the few hours she had been trying to go home or at least leave and survive, she learned that if there was silence, it probably meant that something was waiting for you to make the first move.
The streets also looked like a bigger mess than they had been earlier. More blood, debris, and cars were littered everywhere. From behind three crashed cars, Ellen noticed a teenager standing behind them. He stared right at her and did not seem to be injured, but it was difficult to find out if he was human or a zombie. All he did was stare. He noticed her, but if he was a zombie, he should have at least made an attempt at coming towards her. Perhaps if he was uninjured and uninfected he was too frightened to make a sound or maybe didn't notice her.
Ellen didn't make a sound, but waved at the teenager. She was so tall that he should have at least noticed her and responded by either waving back or moaning. He didn't. He just continued standing there, staring straight forward as if he was in his own little world.
As Ellen turned to continue walking, she noticed that the reporter stopped and picked up two rocks from the ground and hurled them at the vacant teenager one after another. The first hit the target, but it didn't make much of a difference in the teen's demeanor. The second rock missed completely and shattered the window of a delivery van, the sounds softly echoing through the streets. This could not be good.

Antic was examining the street. There was a big mess there. He suddenly saw the reporter again. He was attacking a young man. The well-trained soldier was bored because of that man's actions. Antic wanted to kill him because this man would become a problem in the future. But he did not act yet.
'' Hey Ellen ! What is he doing ?! Tell him to stop immediately or i will break his neck ! He will bring the monsters and zombies here by his stupid actions ! Damn it ! My ammo is decreasing.''
Antic was very angry. Finally he decided to take action.
''Hey stop ! Alright ! ''
Antic approached the reporter. When Miroslav reached him, the soldier grabbed that defiant reporter by his neck and pushes him roughly. When he falls, Antic aimed his gun at him. He was following the teen's actions at the same time. This young man could turn into a zombie at any moment, or he could already be one of them.
''Alright. I will kill you this time. You became a trouble for us.''
Dr Antic shouted.

The vacant teenager turned and stared at Ellen. He was pale and had a bloody spot on his elbow. His eyes weren't completely clouded over like the other zombies. He stared for a few more seconds and blinked his eyes. It was clear that the teen knew who she was but it wouldn't be long before he would change and no longer recognize her. His name was Ricky Harris, one of her many bullies, though he had recently left her alone in the last two months in order to torture another student. He opened his mouth and managed to speak one word, "Ellen?"
Unfortunately, no sooner had he said that, a small group of undead individuals came from around a corner behind him. As soon as she saw Antic attacking the reporter, she decided to jump in by shouting. She had finally started to lose her cool. She could handle being tortured just for being extremely tall, Asian, and even quite poor. The bullying hurt, but it didn't kill her. This time, a stupid move like making noise really could and possibly would kill her. "You $&*^#@! idiot! You're trying to get us killed just by brining attention to yourself. I made sure that we would be relatively safe by not even making a sound." She had never sworn before in her entire 18 years of life, but now she had to start letting it out.
Ellen turned her head towards the bitten teenager. While the three zombies that came from the corner were not running, they were dangerously close to Ricky. Not quite within arm's length, but getting close. He didn't move and from the looks of it, he made no attempt to run or move towards Ellen. He knew that he was done for. Instead, he reached into each pocket and pulled an item from each. With each item he removed, he threw them at Ellen. The first item was a box with a few bullets and the second item was a key. After he threw the key, he gathered the strength to shout something at her, "Find the entrance to Heaven!" With that, one zombie tackled him the ground and the two others joined it into chowing down on the now-deceased former bully.
The reporter wiggled his way out of Antic's grip and ran next to Ellen. He tried to grab the key out of her hands to get a closer look at it, but didn't try to grab the bullets. There was no way Ellen was letting this idiot take the item no matter how much he begged and pleaded with her. She was bigger and starting to leave the pushover stage. She handed the bullets to Antic. "You can kill him if you want. I'm getting really tired of what he's doing. He might get us killed soon if we keep him for too long."
While the three zombies continued to eat, she noticed shadows of more to come. Once again, they weren't safe. As she waited for a new order from Antic on what to do next, Ricky's words echoed through her brain. What did he mean by 'find the entrance to Heaven' and what exactly was the key for?
