Elijha looked up at Jake as she sniffed slightly. Wiping the tears from her face as she climbed to her feet. She looked back down at Vincent before looking around. She slowly walked toward Jake almost skittish like. She fiddled with her hands as she stopped at the edge of the shield he created. She looked around again, flinching every time a gargoyle hit the shield. Sniffing again as she looked out at the town. "Doctor says its not real. That I can't do it, but doctor also says if it is real not to use it. They don't know if it's yes or no," she spoke lightly. She wiped the tears from her face. "I can hear the screams, but doctor says there all in my head. I go crazy when I don't take my medication. But I feel sane without it. It hurts when I do this, but you need help."
Closing her eyes as she held her hands out beside her the building almost seemed to start shaking. Rather though than the building but the ground below them. The iron fence post that surrounded the building started shaking and creaking as the metal began to bend and twist, almost as if it was being ripped to part. Tears streamed down Elijha's face as she bit her lip. Her hands quickly balled up into a fist, it was to tight that not even a second later they began to bleed from her nails cutting into her hands. It seemed to take forever until her eyes shot open, they were glowing a bright ocean blue. An as she turned her head to a group of gargoyles she brought her hand up. Several iron polls shot threw the air scattering across the gargoyles. Striking them in the body and wings, and bringing them crashing toward the street below.
She turned her head and raised her other hand toward the second group of gargoyles. Once more several iron polls shot forth bringing them to the streets once more. Elijha staggered back wards for a moment before she looked around. Collapsing to her knees she wrapped her arms around her head as she screamed out. "NO MORE! PLEASE NO MORE!!" she continued to scream as she clutched her head. Shaking it as if the pain would go away.

More gargoyals fell to the roof, as if to take Elijha's plea and spit it back in her face. They landed in a circle and slowly started to converge on them. There were nine in all.
Tommy stirred on the ground a bit, and his eyes opened. He blinked through the fog he saw, and when his vision cleared, he saw the dire situation they were in. Vincent lay unconcious beside him. He sat up painfully and took a breath. He reached back fro his gun, but didnt find it. He franticly searched for it, but came up short. Both of them were accross the roof.
"Sh*t!" He wispered harshly. He thought of what he could do as two of them moved toward him. He got to his feet slowly, and stumbled a bit. He was out of options.
"Or am I?" The thought, as his hand went to his belt and grasped the chain. The sharp barbs bit into his hand, and blood trickled from it. He wrapped it around and pulled it from the belt. He moved the hand to his chest and raked it accross. Skin tore and blood poured porfusley from the wound.
As he bled, a red aura sorounded him. As one of the gargoyals swiped at him, he made no effort to move. As its claw met his chest, a blow that would have cleaved him in half, nothing happened. Instead, the gargoyal fell into two peices with a scream. The other delivered a crushing blow with its tail, and its own chest was caved in.
Tommy smirked a bit and stumbled. He was still quite weak, but he had the upper hand right now. He stumbled around and went to Elijha, dragging Vincent along the ground. He would act as a sheild for them.

Elijha looked up tiredly at Tommy as he approached, and then she looked back at Vincent and to Jack. Closing her eyes as she climbed to her feet swaying as she did. "Doctor says no, but people need help," she said as she straightened herself up. "But it hurts." Shaking her head for a second and when she opened her eyes again they were once more an ocean blue. She bit her lip as once more the building began to shake. Blood dripped from her nose as once more she tightened her fist. Tears steamed from her eyes. An once more like before she turned her head to two of the gargoyles as she rose her hand. Four poles shot forth from the ground. As she staggered back wards her knees gave out as she fell to the ground.
All the poles had managed to do was impale their wings, bringing them crashing down to the room, and only ****ing them off. Elijha put her hands on the ground as she tried to push herself up, but only fell once more. Her nose continued to bleed. She cried as she tried to move to grip her head only falling on her side. "P- Pl- please m- make it stop," she cried as she gripped her head.

Vincent's eyes fluttered open.
"W-what happened," Vincent stammered weakly, seeing the blue, glowing eyes of the Gargoyles around him. That's when everything came back.
"Where is she," Vincent began muttering. "Where is she? Is she okay?"
He began trying to break free of Tommy's grip, but he was too weak, and soon gave up the attempt, instead allowing Tommy to continue carrying him.

Jake looked in awe as Elijha used a ability to send steel poles into the gargoyles, sending them down to the ground. Out of all of his time as a hunter, he never saw something like that from another hunter before. Seeing Elijha fall to the ground and grabbing her head. Jake instantly went to help her up. Still blocking more gargoyles with his shield. Helping her back up, he said to her as a few more gargoyles slammed the shield.
"That... was... amazing, I have never seen someone do something like that... that is truly a gift you have there, and that is definitely a gift you should keep... you could save lives with that ability"
As he repelled the gargoyles with his shield and blasted them with his revolver. He saw Tommy dragging Vincent along the ground, with a smile, he said to him.
"Looks like you are up and running again... you still alright? and how is Vincent right now?"

Curse," she spoked under her breath as her knees gave out once more and she fell from Jake's arms. She leaned forward slightly as she put her hand up to her nose in order to try and stop it from bleeding. Tears streaming from her eyes from the tremendous pain it had caused. She looked back at Vincent as he spoke and smiled weakly knowing that he was okay. Well that would be an understatement from their given situation. Elijha shook her head as the screaming started up again, but there was nothing she could do. She couldn't take her medication at the moment. Her hands were to bloody from her nose bleeding. Tears streaming down her face as she looked up at the creatures. She didn't know what to do, the pain was coming back and she couldn't stop the voices. She couldn't stop the visions. Elijha swayed slightly until she fell on her side her hands letting go of her nose before drifting up to grab her head. She nearly curled up into a ball in attempts to end the screams of death she was hearing.

"She's fine..." Tommy said to Vincent, not sure how much truth there was to the statment. She was breaking down.
He dragged Vincent over to Jake and set him down.
"He's fine." Tommy said, cracking his neck. It let out a sickening series of pops as he winced a bit. "Protect them." He said, stumbling out. The remaining gargoyals split ranks, half going after Tommy and half attacking the others.
By the time Tommy reached his guns, the spell had wore off. As it did, he felt a sudden drop in energy and he fell to the ground. He spun to land on his back and took aim from where he lay. He squeezed his trigger and depressed it all the way, letting the three round burst of .45 rounds fly. He alternated between guns, pulling the triggers and trying to fend off the creatures.

(Hey, I'm gonna be gone for about a week, so control me until I get back.)
"Yeah, this is nothing," he laughed, a small smile spreading across his face. Instantly, he began coughing up blood.
Once he was done coughing and wiping the blood from his mouth, Adrian crawled over to a vent and rested up against it, pulling out his DE's to fend off any invading Gargoyles.
At first, he thought they were all lost (most of them were wounded, or worn out) when a Gargoyle he shot flipped over him and rammed into the vent. The grating on the vent fell down onto the ground with a clank.
Vincent, wanting to see if the Gargoyle was dead, looked up at where he landed.
"That's it!" he exclaimed, seeing the ventilation shaft. "We can go through the vents!"
Vincent shouted over to others
"Get over here! I found a way out!."

"Thats a damn good idea." Tommy said, who was on his feet, shakily, again. He walked over toward the vent and looked down. It was a fairly long drop. But, the gargoyals couldnt follow, and while they were so close to a blessed place, the rots and other monsters would be reluctant to venture near. They would have a chance to rest, regroup.
He looked inside one more time and hesitated a bit. He had a bit of a problem with heights, seeing as he was a flightless vampire. Finally, with a resounding "fu*k it", he went in head first.
Sliding down for quite a drop, he landed in a huge pile of laundry. Apparantly, he had broken through the airvent and went into the laundry chute.
"Yuck..." He muttered, grabbing a pair of boxers and throwing them across the room. Rolling to the side, he made room for the next person to come down.

Elijha's grip loosened a bit from her head. Not that the pain was easing up, but more from the fact she could feel herself on the verge of passing out. Her head was spinning, and looking around just made her want to throw up. Her nose had stopped bleeding which was a plus. She seen the other's going for the vent, and some how she managed to force herself to move. Where they going to leave her behind? Was it like before and no one even knew she was here? Those questions racing threw her mind as she put her hand on the ground and pushed herself up.
Sadly though she happened to push herself up into the claws of a gargoyle. It cut her deeply from her waist to her right shoulder causing her to scream out as she fell once more on her face. She coughed again this time spitting up blood as she laid there on the ground. Tears streaming from her eyes, but all she did was blink. She didn't move or scream or even attempted to do anything else. It was almost as if the events had completely thrown her body into shock.

Jake watched as everyone started making their way into the vent while he helped with his shield, as each gargoyle bumped into the shield, he felt himself starting to weaken, he would soon have to go down the vent himself. Suddenly, he saw Elijha fall to the ground after a gargoyle attacked her. Swearing under his breath, he ran up towards her, making sure his shield covered the both of them and said to her as he used his free hand to pick her up.
"Don't worry... I'm here to help you"
And with that, Jake made the shield dissapear, held Elijha tightly and entered the vent. going down until they reached the pile of laundry. Putting Elijha on the ground, he said to her as he checked for wounds.
"Are you alright?"

Elijha's hand's tightened into a fist as she laid on her stomach in order to expose her back. The gash was evident even threw her cloths, ranging from her right shoulder all the way down to her left hip, and it was continuously bleeding. Elijha's hand's where so tight that her knuckles were turning white, and on occasion she let out a small cry. Tears soaked her face as she rested her head on the ground. She pit her lip in order to keep from crying out even more. She couldn't hear the screams any more, but she figured that was because of her own pain. Every time she was hurting the voices and the screaming stopped. That was the only reason why she tried to take her life several times in the past.
"I- Is e- everyone okay," she asked with a raspy breath. After which she shut her eyes tightly in attempts to keep from crying out. She was panting heavily and profusely sweating. Her golden locks mixing with her blood and sweat. Elijha knew she was close to passing out, but for some reason even with the feelings there she found herself still conscious.

Tommy layed on his back and breathed deeply. They were safe for the moment. Gargoyles couldn't come down here, and the portals wouldn't pop up down here, in all likelihood. The portals always opened outside, or in buildings that were white big on space. Rots were incredibly stupid, and if 100 or so came through a portal down here, they'd never leave. And whatever demon running this thing probably couldn't afford to lose such an amount of "manpower" in such a useless display.
True, killing them would be a good thing, but it was also likely that whatever it was didn't know they were here yet. In all the chaos, there could be anything going on and he wouldn't know of it until he started going out himself. And in his human form, he didn't have the abilities as in the underworld. He had the abilities of the person he took control of.
"We just...need to rest..." Tommy said between breaths. He felt himself slowly, very slowly, getting better. But it'd be a while before he was at 100 percent again.
------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, at the other side of town, a lone man rode down the highway on a motorcycle. It couldn't be told by all the leathers and clothing he wore, but he was massive. He was at least seven feet tall, and must have weighed 300 or more pounds. His body was covered with tattoos, and he was packing weapons.
A huge steel axe and a Winchester 30-30 rifle were hidden among his possession's.
As fast as the bike would take him, he rode toward the town of Ashcroft, bent on doing one thing. Killing as many demons as he could in one last hazza.

Jake looked at the large scratch that Elijha had gotten from one of the gargoyles that attacked her as she was heading to the vent herself, sighing, he looked to Vincent, who looked to be in no shape to heal anyone, and said to her.
"Well... this scratch would be a problem if the scratch is too deep or you loose too much blood... We need something that can bandage with... perhaps these"
As Jake was talking, he picked up what appeared to be a white long-sleeved t-shirt, ripping it up into strips, he used them as a makeshift bandage and started wrapping it around Elijha's wound, it would not help too much, but it would be a hell of alot better than just leaving it as it was. nodding when he was done, he said to Elijha.
"Alright, that should help with the wound... I hope. you just rest, all of us need to recover after that hectic battle"
Jake then took a few steps away from Elijha and lay down. He was completely worn out, expecially using his shield from the unrelenting tide of gargoyles and rots. Closing his eyes, he simply thought about what had happened today.

Elijha muffled a cry by burring her head into the cloths. Though they were dirty it was the only thing that she could think of doing to control her crying. Her body was hurting from head to toe like nothing she had felt before. Not even those electric shock therapies hurt this much. She didn't understand why the doctor would send her into such a situation. Her hands gripped the cloths tightly until she finally cried out. She continued to cry as she shifted uncomfortably. Her tears soaking the cloths that she laid on. She continued to cry until she had slowly cried herself to sleep.
