"Last known location of the assailant was in this vicinity," the sergeant in the passenger seat of the hummer said. "Whatever it is was spotted here early this morning, raided one of our cargo trucks. Didn't kill anyone, except it did take a swing at Private Gomez here. Broke his nose too" The sergeant smirked and let out a short laugh as Gomez sat in the back seat, nose bandaged, staring out the window ignoring the laugh his superior made.
The humvee drove slowly down the road next to the Apartment Complex. Inside, it's occupants consisted of the driver, Sergeant Fogle, Private Gomez and an one hundred and twenty-one year old soldier, Konrad Rothstein. By his looks you couldn't tell the man was past his forties. But the man had more experience in warfare than all the men in the vehicle combined. As the sergeant briefed him he stared down at the photograph in his hands. The caped figure in the photograph seemed to blend into the shadows behind him, that was if it wasn't for the green lights coming from it's helmet that illuminated the area under it's hood.
The German felt the vehicle come to a halt and like the rest of it's occupants, exited into the deserted streets. The German stood out from the Rangers in terms of combat gear. Konrad was donned it what seemed to be a newer, blackened, version of a twentieth century cavalryman. A brown leather holster and cavalry saber hung at his belt. The attire alone raised a few eyebrows amonst his American allies upon his arrival. The group peered up onto the rooftops above to see any signs of the green-eyed assailant.
"We're not going to find him just standing here gentlemen," Konrad said pulling a pipe from a small leather pouch on his belt, which he filled and lit occordingnly. "You take your men and start sweeping floors from the west. I shall start at the East."
"Uh, aren't you going to need one of my men to assist you-" the sergeant began asking.
"Nonsense my boy. You'll need them more than I."
With that the sergeant shook his head and his men disappeared into the Apartment complex across the road whilst Konrad walked down the sidewalk, tobbacco smoke trailing behind him. As he continued down the hallway he could pick up voices above him. The German cocked his head back and peered onto the roof above and noticed to men, one seeming to be in armor, conversing amongst themselves. It didn't appear to be the assailant, but he had learned to not trust appearances. As he watched the two above he noticed a shambling row of heads in the corner of his eye. What zombies had been chasing the two men ontop the building had now focused on the lone German in the street. Konrad unsnapped his holster and brought his C96 'Broomhandle' Pistol out to bare. The German took aim and fired on the frontman of the horde all the while still puffing on the pipe.
"Can I render your assistance gentlemen!?" Konrad called out to the two men above. While the horde wasn't a problem and could easily be outran Konrad would take what response he would be given to determine if the men were a threat or not.

"Can I render your assistance gentlemen!?" Darren's attention changed from David to the man below. He was being pursued by a large group of infected. Knight pulled his visor down over face. Darren took several steps back and ran to the end of the rooftop. He quickly shifted his armor to maxaimum armor and jumped off the edge. Knight landed below and a zombie lunged at him. [red]Maxiumum strength [/center][/red] Darren countered the zombie with a stiff left hook to the chest. He unsheathed his Machete and sliced the zombie across the throat. It's head fell to the ground and the rest of it followed. Knight dispatched another zombie and looked back to the mystery man. "Names Darren Knight. What's yours?"

"Names Darren Knight. What's yours?" the man in armor responded to Konrad in between dispatching the infected in front of the German.
"Let me introduce myself," Konrad said after taking a long drag from his pipe, smoke pouring out of his mouth as he talked in his German accent. "I am Konrad Rothstein, military advisor and private contrator for the Silver Eagle Company."
The German took aim at one of the infected that managed to break past the man named Darren and squeezed the trigger, sending a .45 caliber round directly between it's sunken, rotten eye sockets. The creature fell face first into the concrete, sending a spray of black and crimson liquid trailing behind it. The horde slowly began to grow smaller due to the combined efforts of the two men and eventually only a few remained.
"Mind showing me a way up to that roof? Darren, is it?" the German said as he slid his pistol back into it's leather holster. "Hate to waste ammunition on beings who are not worthy of it."

David glanced over and saw Darrn in action with his Armor. He was jealous. "Damn tech heads..." He climbed down the same ladder he came up on, sliding his way down it and walk around to Darren and a german guy. "Howdy, I'm David." He extended his hand out to him.

"Konrad," he replied to David, shaking the mans hand. "Konrad Rothstein."
After the introduction, Konrad looked back over his shoulder to see the man in armor amongst the pile of the now, dispatched, horde. He hadn't seen that particular kind of armor before and from what he could tell it had no markings or indications of where it was manufactured and by whom. He suspected the man was either a government official or a merc with some serious connections. But, it did seem to be helping the man a great deal, which in turn helped Konrad. The German took another puff of his pipe and produced a photograph from one of his leg pouches. In the photograph a figure, drapped in what seemed to be a black cloak, was jumping off of an army cargo truck into the air to an adjacent rooftop. The only distinctive feature from the caped figure was the two illumius green eyes shining from it's full-faced helmet out of it's hood.
"Have any of you seen this particular..." Konrad handed the photograph to the men and searched for the right words. "Figure? It's been raiding convoys coming through the city. It's last location was in this area-" His sentence was cut short as gunfire erupted on one of the floors of the Apartment building behind him. The Sergeant's men had found something, and guessing from the continuous gunfire, it could be his target. Konrad turned to the others again still waiting for their response from the last question and added one last choice of words.
"Care to join me?" he said pulled his C96 back out of it's holster.

Darren's armor caught most of Konrad's mission and also heard the gunshots. He jumped on to the rooftop and pulled his visor down. "You got my help, from your discription it looks like you need it." He quuickly said. Darren reached into his leg holster and pulled out one of his reds. He stuck it into his mouth and lit it. Darren took a long draw and blew out the smoke.
[didn't have much to say. I'll let you take us there. I might not be on till next tuesday though]

The German nodded and took off back towards the building the sergeant and his men had entered just minutes before. The gunfire and now screams began more audible as he entered the lobby area of the apartment complex. He moved quickly past the ransacked front desk and into the dark stair case. If it weren't for the small windows bringing light in on each landing, then he would have had trouble finding his way around the corpse's that littered the staircase. After a quick jog up three floors he exited the staircase and ran down the adjacent hallway towards the source of the gunfire. He rounded the corner just in time to see one of the soldiers be launched out of one of the doorways and smash against the wall. The soldier tried, but failed, to get up and continue fighting and soon after hitting the ground passed out. Another scream ringed out as Konrad drew closer to the doorway and the downed soldier.
With his back against the wall and his pistol drawn, he slowly peered around the corner, and there standing, was the assailant. In the ruined living area of the former apartment, the figure stood above one of the downed soldiers who looked to be dead, or atleast knocked out, Konrad couldn't make it out for sure. The figure towered over the downed soldier with a steel pipe, about five feet long, in his hand. Another scream rang out somewhere in the apartment and the figure cocked it's head towards the source of the noise, it's featureless helmet and green illuminous eyes scanned the area. Konrad looked back to David, nodded, and rushed into the room with his pistol drawn, leading the way.
The figure caught them out of the corner of it's 'eyes' and now directed it's full intention towards them. It rotated the pipe around viciously in it's left hand before it charged towards the men. Konrad managed to let off two shots which disappeared into the figure's cloak and seemingly didn't seem to slow him down. With incredible speed, the German holstered his pistol and within a nano-second later, unsheathed his cavalry saber just in time to meet the metal pipe that was coming down ontop of him. The German sword and the metal pipe made a loud ding sound as they met and continued to meet as Konrad and the figure continued there small duel.
"Take him down!" Konrad yelled back to David as he countered another swing that came from his right.
OOC: I'm going to be using the mysterious figure as sort of my own character. Feel free to attack him, but just don't kill him.

David Aimed at the figure and shot at it with a hole magazine, however, the figure was still standing. This really made him annoyed that he had to tag along but caring is helping. he reloaded the mag in, cocking it and went to fire then it jam. "You f--king joking?" he shouted.

Darren saw as David tried attacking with his gun and failed. Knight unsheathed his machete and charged forward. First he swung his weapon and the creature deflected the attack with it's forearm. It followed up the attack by kicking Darren in the stomach, he fell backwards dropping his machete. Darren jumped back up and threw a right hook, once again it deflected it and followed with another attack. The two went on for several minutes, by the end Darren was knocked back. He was ready for another attack. "Konrad, I think it would be best if we attacked at the sametime. Overwhlem it, you know what I mean?" Knight shouted

Konrad nodded and charged again, sword reering back to make the final blow, intent on killing whatever was behind the mask. As the two men charged at the green-eyed man, it whipped it's pipe around in it's hand and brought it down in front of him to block Konrad's attack only to have the other man reer in closer. The thing took a step back, grabbed Darren by the helmet, and tossed him into Konrad. As the two fell into each other the figure reached inside it's cape and produced two smoke grenades in which it promptly pulled the pins and tossed on the ground. Within seconds the room was filled with smoke and as the men tried to find their target a voice broke through a smoke.
"For weeks Greyson has been sending men after me. And for weeks they have failed. I'm begining to wonder if I should have let any of them live in the first place?" the odd calm voice mussed as Konrad covered his nose with a cloth, holding his sword out in front of him. "You men are no different from the rest. Money. It's what drives you, it's what motivates you, it's your life! Even though the man that hired you is about to unleash armaggedon all you care about is your money."
The figure they were fighting was no tyrant. This was a man. Konrad had no idea what he was talking about though.
"We weren't hired by whoever Greyson is," Konrad shouted through the smoke. "I was under the assumption you were a tyrant, attacking army convoys. What are you talking about armageddon?"
"Would a tyrant leave all the witnesses alive? You should have thought about that, German," the voice hissed. "Greyson plans to unleash a hell more horrible than the outbreaks. And I'm the only one that knows. The only one that can stop it."
"Let us help you," Konrad lied, hoping to get the mans guard down. Weeks of being alone in the city had probably caused him to go insane. Raiding convoys was one of them and now he was talking about armaggedon. This man needed to be taken in. But apart of Konrad did want to know what he was talking about and if it was true. "Please."
A scream rang out in the hallway behind them, the smoke was begining to disisapate and through what remainded of it, he could see a large figure holding Private Gomez in between it's two massive hands. The large tyrant in the hallway clamped it's jaws around the head of the former private and tore his head off his shoulders. As he watched the scene unfold a metal pipe flew through the air and stuck in the side of the tyrant who then dropped the headless body and turned to find the source. Konrad looked back to see the caped figure with Sergeant Fogle draped over his shoulder, still passed out.
"Follow me, we must ellude the beast." the figure said rather calmly given the circumstances. It turned and dissappeared through a hole in the bathroom that led to another room. As Konrad went to follow, he stopped and noticed te driver of the humvee was still knocked unconscious on the floor.
"Cover fire gentlemen!" Konrad yelled as he hefted the soldier on his shoulders with ease before running through the hole in the wall behind the figure. "We need to follow Mr. Green!"

David didn't have time to to fix it, so he switch to his pistol. Knowing my luck, It was probably a BOW gone wrong As not what he had in mind, David followed the group anyway. As if this was some big plan to stop him to tell Kights and just stop him. He looked at Knights. "Guess we're following him"

Darren unfolded his Bow and pulled the string back. He fired one arrow and then moved back. As Konrad and Mr. Green lead the way, Knight followed. He kept an eye out to make sure that David didn't get left behind. "So, Green can you clue us in to this Greyson person?"
After the truck flipped, Jared came to. Jared rubbed his neck as he sat up. The Tyrant that attacked them was now gone. [red]" Team Letum, please sound off"[/red]
[blue]"Caleb here and wow that was a wild ride"[/blue]
[green]"Caleb, shut the hell up before I beat you with a stick"[/green] Jefferson said clearly annoyed. Jefferson didn't really like Caleb. Everyone else sounded off and they all regrouped. The truck had been completely destroyed, Jared wasn't worried. The sound of the explosion must've drawn zombies to the area. They zombies come from every side, there was only one way the could go.
[red]"Get into the building go!"[/red] Jared shouted as he fired his M4. Team Letum moved to the buliding with Jefferson taking point. Jefferson opened the door and cleared it rather quick. There was a zombie in the bathroom, Jefferson dispatched it with his Mossburg 870. Soon the whole group had entered the building. Joshua was the last into the room and he slammed the door.

[OoC: Hey guys hope you dont mind me jumping in Frog said it was cool]
Joshua slammed the door behind them. He scrambled to find something to lock it. He spotted something on the floor near McKenzie.
"'Kenzie! toss me that rod on the floor!"
She responded without question and tossed the piece of metal over to him. He quickly slid it through the handles. No sooner had he let go then the zombies outside slammed against it. The door bulged inward and their groans could be heard, but the metal rod held firm and the door stayed shut.
"Caleb your getting rusty!"
Joshua spit the words out then gave a short laugh. It sure was one hell of a reunion. Joshua had gotten off of a B.S.A.A. helicopter a few days ago when his old team called him up. They wanted to get back together now that there was a new infection. And when they worked together it was like a well oiled death machine. They'd all met up a few hours back and headed into Raccoon City. It was just their luck that they would run into a B.O.W. already. Not having the time to really do it earlier Joshua turned to Desmond, one of his oldest friends in the world. He approached him with open arms, intent on a manly hug. The guy was like a brother to him. Any of them on the team might as well have been his siblings, they'd done everything together back in the day. It was a good feeling to be back with his team again.
"Its good to see you again bro! Its been far too long! How've you been?"

David had followed them, playing with his M4 cocking mechanism. He finally got it un jam. "Look not to sound like an ass, but I had only came here for a quick thing, Konrad, my people at HQ is going to be ****ed at me. what the hell is it that we chasing?" he asked.

"Would you rather face death or a few moments of disipline from your superiors!" Konrad yelled back as he hefted the passed out soldier on his arm and crawled through another hole leading into yet another apartment room. Behind them, the behemoth tyrant smashed through the walls that the men had previously just squeezed through. Sweat was running down Konrad's face causing him to constantly jerk his head to stop it from dripping into his eyes. He was begining to have trouble chasing down the man in the chaustrophobic interior of the apartment especially with a soldier with full battle gear on his shoulder.
If he didn't have the abilities he had, then he would have been done for, not that he would be alive this day without said abilities. Up ahead, 'Mr.Green' continued darting through numberous doorways and knocked down walls as the tyrant behind them continued it's rampage through the infrastructure. The group finally followed the mysterious man towards a stairwell. As if on cue, the tyrant busted through one of the walls lining the hallway to face the men at the end of the hall.
"Go," the figure said as it slowly laid the knocked out soldier on the floor. "Get back to your vehicle. We shall....discuss matters afterwards."
"You plan on hitting it with your metal pipe?" Konrad asked sarcastically as he laid the soldier on his shoulder on the ground as well for a brief second. When he stood back up he noticed a M60 prodruding out from under the figure's robes, aimed down the hallway at the incoming tyrant.
"No." it said simply and let loose a barrage of lead as it slowly made it's way towards the incoming tyrant, firing off round after round into the beast.
"Let's get these men back to the humvee, gentlemen!" the German yelled, reaching back down yet again to pick up the unconsious soldier.
