Ariana shifted in her seat to completely face Jason and a smile crossed her face, ''That is true...there is always something to shoot. But here... there is nothing.'' Ariana knew they were safe at Jonathan's house, he had guards watching the door to the room as well as the elevator downstairs, so nothing, or nobody would be getting in without proper authorization.
Ariana knew that Jonathan would be there soon, she just didn't know when. In a way, you could probably say that she kinda missed him. But she also knew how to keep her feelings professional and out of sight of anyone around them. She just wondered now about how he was dealing with Raine and hoped she didn't try anything stupid. Looking back at Jason, Ariana smiled ''Jonathan should be here soon...Last i heard, he was about to get on the plane..'' Ariana missed his call, but Jonathan left a message for Ariana to relay to Alex. She didn't want to disturb Alex while she slept, so the best thing would be to wait until she came out of her room and talk to her then.
''So Jason... Whats on your mind?''

Alex shifted on her bed. She laid there a moment before opening her eyes. Rubbing them slightly before sitting up in her bed. She looked around the room, letting out a small sigh. It had been quite some time since she had been in this room. For quite some time she had been staying in her home located in America. Hiding from those who were still after her and her father. Alex climbed to her feet and started shuffling through her drawers finding something to change into. After she finished she made her way out of her room, and down the hall. She followed the sound of Ariana's voice into the living room. She smiled tiredly as she looked at her and Jason. "Do either of you want something to eat or drink?" she asked lightly as she made her way toward the kitchen.

“A glass of water...” Jason said to Ariana, answering her question before he looked over at Alex. “… would be nice, thank you.” He said. He stayed silent, thinking over what Ariana said. Should be here soon… Hmm. He silently wondered what he would do when he saw the man. Wondered if shortly after he arrived more fake government agents would storm in under the guise of trying to capture him, only providing a cover to his escape. Should he let the man explain himself, or should he simply shoot him. The consequences with the guards was not something he was worried about, it was more personal an issue than that.
“Why is it you have stayed with him so long?” He asked Ariana when Alex left the room for a moment. “It’s a given that when your usefulness runs out he will betray you.” He said. It was a fact, it had happened to other women in his life, even his own daughter at one point. Happened to countless others over the years. Jason was just curious what made loyalty to a man like him possible, when he didn’t know what it was himself.

Ariana smiled as she looked at Alex, ''Water will be fine, thank you.''
Bringing her attention back to Jason, she listened intently and then answered after thinking for a few minutes. ''Well we met a few years back, well actually we've known each other longer than that, we both worked for the same company. Once we actually got to know each other he told me about Raine, I am the reason he knows where she is right now.''
This was all true, Ariana was the one who gave Raine the canteen of water which contained a tracker so Jonathan could find her later. And as far as Jonathan betraying her... as long as she never lied to him, she wouldn't have to worry about hiding from him. ''One thing about Jonathan is... you don't lie to him and he wont kill you.'' Ariana saw Jason taking all of this in and letting it simmer so to speak. She waited for him to say something, but something also told her that he didn't think she was telling the whole story.

Alex wondered to the kitchen pulling out two glasses, filling them both half full with ice and then pulling a bottle of water out of the fridge. She always figured bottled water tasted better than tap water these days. The tap water always had a bit of an iron taste to them once the cities put in the new filters to keep the virus from being transfered through the water. She returned to the living area setting both the glasses down in front of Ariana and Jason. She smiled lightly before looking around the room, and then back to the two. "I'll be on the balcony if you need me," she said lightly as she turned to walk down the hall. She figured that both Jason and Ariana wanted to be alone. That's how it was with most people anymore especially when it was around her. She sighed a bit as she pushed the doors opening to the outside world. The balcony over looking the destruction of the city. Still she didn't care, she wanted fresh air after being cooped up for so long underground. She sat down on the patio in the corner, and pulled her knees up to her chest.

Jason watched Alex move to the balcony door after she handed off the glasses of water. He thanked her and took a sip of the drink. He wasn’t worried about it. If it had been anyone else, he’d have had cause to think twice about it. But Alex, at least the Alex she was at this moment, didn’t have it in her to harm anyone.
He looked at Ariana and then down at his watch. He wondered what Jonathon was doing that could be taking this long.
“Show’s where his priorities lie.” He said offhandedly, taking another drink of water as he did. He still didn’t understand the relationship they had. How she could stand to live with him and how he hadn’t grown tired of her. Oh well. Wouldn’t matter much in a short while. One way or another, he wouldn’t have to deal with the entire situation ever again.

Ariana smirked as she listened to Jason, ''Well he does have important things to deal with, like Raine for example. He's probably keeping an eye on her so she doesn't realize whats happening to her.'' Ariana sipped her water slowly as she glared at Jason waiting for him to say something smart right back to her.... like he always did.
While she waited for him to speak, Ariana just stared blankly outside to the balcony and looked at Alex. Out of everyone here, this was most likely the hardest on her seeing as she was Jonathan's daughter. Alex had alot going on in her life and Jonathan was the only person that would understand what she's going through. They all just had to wait patiently for him to return, until then there was nothing left to do but wait.

Alex was standing looking down at one of the many cities that walked with nothing but the dead. Her head hurt her . . . it had hurt before, but nothing like this. Her head was screaming in pain, a blinding pain. Her hands gripped the railing as she stood their finally closing her eyes. She could feel the banister cracking under her grip, but payed no mind to it. There were tears, but she just ignored them. Then it felt as if something snapped in her head. Her hands let go of the railing. Looking straight ahead of her she just stood there for a moment.
Her eyes shifted from their dull blue to almost a dark blood lusted red. She turned on her heals her dress waving from the soft breeze. Her head hung low as she walked down the hall toward Jason and Ariana. She heard something but payed no mind to it. She watched as Jason looked at her, and only grinned. As he stood from his seat, probably recognizing her eyes as he had seen them in her father more so then herself before he himself had been freed from the curse. As he climbed to his feet she pulled back, and with a strong punch landed square in his chest, throwing him against the side wall.
She didn't speak as she walked up to him, and even ignored Ariana like she wasn't there. She reached down wrapping her fingers around his neck as he still tried to gather himself. Alex pulled Jason to his feet, and slammed him against the wall as she allowed her hand to grip tightly around his throat.

(Not sure on that, gonna have to ask them two.)
Jason looked at Ariana, prepared to say something when the movement from the back of the apartment caught his eye. Anything like that caught his attention, almost by reflex. It was a handy talent when one found themselves hunted by criminals and law enforcement alike.
He almost directed his attention back to Ariana when he noticed something wasn’t quite right with Alex. Her eyes were no longer the soft blue that they had been when she had last been in the room. They were now the deep red that signified something bad was going to happen. The eyes of her father. He stood up and made a move to draw his weapon, only to feel the crashing blow to his chest. The power threw him into the wall, and before he had a chance to recover, the young woman was on him again.
He quickly began to feel his airway close off, and reached up with his left hand to try and pry her grip loose. He already knew it was a fool’s errand, but it was more of a distraction. She was occupied with what she probably thought was a panicked action to try and preserve his life. Instead, his right hand shot to the back of his waistband, to the Beretta he had taken from Jonathon’s safe. He drew it and flipped it from safe to fire, aiming it down. The muzzle just an inch from Alex, the muzzle flash singeing her dress. The nickel plated nine millimeter round entered her thigh, colliding with the bone and shattering it. Normally, this would have done nothing. But he knew she, as well as her father, would react to these bullets as a normal person would a normal one.

((I'd consider it private... Reaper?))
Ariana watched the scene that unfolded in front of her, she contemplated letting Alex strangle Jason. Thinking again, if that happened Ariana might be next, so she had to think fast. She stood up after Alex grabbed Jason again, and ran to Jonathan's office. She opened the closet and trashed it looking for something that would calm her down.
On the shelf in the middle of the closet was a shoe box. It wasn't very big but it still caught Ariana's eye. She opened the box and found a gun with 3 tranquillizer darts inside. She grabbed one dart and the gun and started making her way back to the living room when she heard a gunshot. ''S*it...'' Ariana ran to see Jason dropping Jonathan's gun on the floor and Alex loosening her grip but not letting go. Ariana placed the dart in the gun and shot Alex in the neck. All Ariana could do was look at Jason and mouth the words 'I'm trying...' as Alex turned and looked at her with fire in her eyes.

Alex's body jerked slightly when Jason had shot her, and even her grip loosened slightly but she did not let go. In a matter of seconds she felt the dart strike her neck, and she glared at Ariana. She staggered back wards letting go of Jason here body swaying slightly as she reached for the dart that stuck in her neck. Tossing it to the ground she looked between Jason and Ariana her mind fogging slightly as she tried her best to figure out who to kill. She felt another sting in her chest as she staggered again. Her hand drifting to the dart there as well. Her eyes fading slightly as she felt the tears letting lose.
She staggered a bit more before her body collapsed hitting the hard wooden floor without much grace. She laid there a bit panting heavily and staring up at the ceiling. Her eyes fading a bit more before they closed and she passed out from the tranquillizers as well as the nickle that coursed threw her body.

Jason staggered a bit, rubbing his throat with his left hand as he bent down to pick up the pistol with his right. His leg gave out and he dropped to his knees. He wasn’t a man with many scars. Some might have called that sheltered living. He called it being careful. He wasn’t accustomed to abuse like this. Even when he had fought with her before, or even clones of her, he had usually managed to keep an upper hand. Of course, the fight with her was ended quickly and he was allowed to kill the clones. Maybe he’d end up killing her, he didn’t know quite yet. It depended on events that would occur in the very near future. As for now…
He reached over to the chair near and pulled himself to his feet, keeping a tight grip on the Beretta the whole way. Now that Ariana had a weapon, he was more cautious. They may have been darts, but the amount of tranquilizers it took to put Alex to sleep could very well kill him.
“Help me move her to couch.” He said. Normally he could do it himself, but he was feeling the huge pain in his chest start to come back. From when the monster on the boat had thrown him around. He grabbed Alex’s legs and waited for Ariana to get her arms, both of them setting her on the couch. Almost at the same time, Jason stepped back and seemingly collapsed into the chair.

Ariana stared down at Alex as she slept and could only wonder what caused her to snap the way she did. Normally with Jonathan something would trigger his outbursts, but Alex was very hard to read sometimes.
Ariana placed the tranquillizer gun in her pocket and the last dart on the shelf behind her where Alex couldn't reach. She walked over to Jason to see how he was holding up. ''How's your neck? Do you need anything?'' she asked with obvious concern in her voice. She felt bad that she could even think about Alex killing him. Her only thought was that with out Jonathan, Jason was the only other person who was strong enough to keep her from Alex's rage.

Alex let out a soft moan as she shifted on the sofa. Her thigh just bleeding slightly from where Jason had shot her. She let out a slow sigh as she settled more comfortably. Her eyes opened just for a short moment as she looked around the room almost like she wasn't even aware of what was going on around her. She gasped slightly as she felt the sting in her leg, and the burning sensation that coursed threw her body. Alex looked up at Ariana for a moment the tears showing in her eyes. She blinked a few times letting them streak down her cheek. "Dad," she spoke softly before closing her eyes again and slipping of into another unsettling sleep.
