"Ah, hell!" July shouted as the reddish creature got up on its own feet and started running. For a split second, the creature looked like one of the people of her second family that managed to become so enraged that they literally turned red all over. However, as soon as it got closer, July was able to see what it really was. It was one of the zombies, but completely red. There were some wounds around the stomach and arms. And it was just as fast, if not faster, than she was. Like her, it was showing no mercy upon its victims.
Upon hearing Allister's orders and watching his actions, she decided to actually comply with them. The Crimson Head was not going down without a fight and who knew how many there was left in the police station, waiting to awaken and attack whoever was in their way. She readied her gun and aimed it upwards towards his head.
After seeing Allister duck down, she fired three shots. Two missed and one merely grazed its ear. Her gun was nearly empty, only two shots left, and she had almost no time to insert a magazine into the gun without being attacked. The first of the two remaining shots shot through the skull and the creature fell to the ground. To make sure it was completely dead, July towered over the fallen creature and fired the remaining bullet into the brain.
Once upon a time, the Crimson Head was a police officer with maybe a loving family before he turned into a creature gone mad. Now it was laying dead for a final time, never to return to life. That was an assumption from a quick observation of the body and July hoped that there was no more of them left wandering around.

ooc: Just reacting to the gunfire until I can get this character moving again. Ignore or acknowledge him at your leisure.
ic: "You hear that?"
Ethan rushed quietly towards the door to the filing room and pushed it open slightly to see outside, flicking the lights off to stay unnoticed. A pack of zombies had stirred up and were attacking a pair of survivors, one male and one female. They were holding them off effectivley but their language towards each other was somewhat aggressive.
"Hold up Jake." Ethan whispered back. "Better not startle them during all this gunfire."
He caught sight of the crimson head rushing the two, pulling a few pellets out and preparing to leap out. However the girl reacted quickly to the runner, taking him down with several precise shots. Looks like they didn't need any help. Ethan sank back into the filing room before he drew attention.
"Impressive."

Allister straightened up and looked at the crimson head on the floor. Breathing out a long sigh he turned to July and smiled.
"You're a pretty good shot with that thing. Where'd you learn to shoot?" As he was speaking, Allister's eyes darted to the door behind July that slowly moved a bit. Most people probably wouldn't have noticed the slight disturbance, but snipers were trained to see the minute details and changes. Drawing his handgun, Allister pointed to the door behind July and motioned for her to keep talking normally, that way, whoever or whatever was in there wouldn't become suspicious. Slowly he walked towards the door. When he reached it, he pressed himself against the door frame and turned to July waiting for her to be ready.

July didn't smile back at Allister, especially when he asked about her shooting. "It ain't any of your business." Despite the fact that Allister motioned for her to continue talking as she normally would, she refused to do so. Not because she didn't want to do it, but because she was not normally a talker unless it was for demands or threats. Instead, she followed Allister and replaced her magazine to fill up the gun.
She frowned as she dug through her pack. After the replacement, she had only one more left. The way the monsters took in bullets, she needed to get more than one or two packs. There should be a bunch of bullets laying around. After all, this was a "cop house" as she called it and cops always had bullets.
Quietly, she followed Allister to the door of the filing room. Like him, she had also seen somebody hide away in there, but she was prepared for whoever was hiding away from her. Rather than hiding to the side along with Allister, she put her free hand on the knob of the door, took a deep breath, and ripped the door open.

By the time July had thrown the door open Jake had convinced Nightshade to stick to the shadows. The caped man took the chance to make his way up into the rafters, taking out a few of the light fixtures on his way up, so when the lights came back on they would have the bonus of more shadows to hide in.
The young airman pops a mag into the TMP before slinking into the shadows, his Airman Battle Uniform might not be the best suited for woodland or any other environment, but in this room his digital urban tiger-stripe helped him to blend in to the file cases and evidence lockers around him, added with the darkness from the lights busted up above. If he stayed still and stayed in the shadow, he would be difficult to see until he moved.
The young airman remembered one of the classes from Z week, where he learned what to expect from people when outbreaks happened, and was taught how to defend himself. He crouched down in a point where when the lights came back on would still be shrouded in darkness, and readied his TMP, just in case.

As soon as the door handle turned Ethan was pulling himself up onto the lockers and clambering into the light fixtures, expecting Jake to take cover in his own way. He silently crept along the higher area to get a look at the two survivors. Thankfully the lights being off gave him and the airman the advantage, the light from the outside highlighting the two in the doorway.
From the sounds of their conversation and their movements it seemed they didn't trust each other. That could go either good or bad if a fight broke out. Good meant that they'd likely turn on each other if they sensed trouble and either retreat or subdue their partner, bad meant that they'd try to take on all aspects of a fight themselves rather than trust the other to watch their back, probably spraying the whole room with gunfire.
Ethan found his way above them unnoticed, from here he could listen in some more, either find their intentions or take them out if they started any trouble.

Chris had managed to avoid the hordes of undead staggering about the city for some time now and returned to the police department in hopes of finding a place to relax. Managing to outrun the walking dead, he had come through a backdoor on the first floor and breathed a sigh of relief before pushing a desk in front of it. He then looked around the small office and shook his head at the depressing sight. His phone vibrating was the only thing that broke him from his trance.
"Hello," he asked after raising it to his ear and mouth.
...............................................
"Do what? I don't know who that is."
...............................................
"I'm not your errand boy, okay? If this...Mr. Black character wants something done, then he should do it himself, okay?!"
...............................................
"I have done plenty for you guys and you are yet to live up to your end of the bargain. Now, d*mm*t, I want some results. Where is my daughter!?"
...............................................
"You son of a b***h! You touch her and I swear I'll kill you! Do you under-"
...............................................
Chris sighed. The man on the other end was very persuasive and Chris didn't want to risk his family's life no matter what. He shook his head realizing there was no way out of this, "Alright....fine. What do I have to do?" ...............................................
"Now how am I supposed to lure two people to England?"
...............................................
"Fine, a**h**e, I will....but I mean this. When I'm done with this job, I'm done and you will tell me where my daughter is."
...............................................
The mans' final cocky remark angered Chris and he yelled in frustration before slamming the phone shut and jammed it back into his coat pocket. He had been given the location of his targets...Sunset Hills and a description of the house that he was to find them in. Apparently he was to find a way to coerce them into following him to England and that would be it, but from his experience, nothing was that simple. For the time being, however, Chris wanted to wait out the undead waiting outside so he decided to have a look around the building.

"I know you're in here! I ain't one of them things, so get out here!" July's deep voice shouted into the room before she walked in herself. Hopefully her order would force them to come out. She hated people hiding from her.
The room was dark and she took notice of that. The darkness didn't bother her too much. Her life with little electricity and nightlight prepared her eyes to quickly adapt to little or no light, though not enough for her to be able to see everything in the darkness. The only thing that told her that somebody was in here were her ears that heard the sounds of people scrambling around to hiding places and lookout places.
Both strategies were requirements for the girl at her job. Her ears were long prepared to listen carefully to what was around her. Two strangers could not hide from her in the dark and they both seemed to have no intention of coming out.
Impatiently, July rolled her eyes and sighed. With her right hand on her gun, pointed in front of her in case she needed to use it, her left hand quickly went to a nearby light switch and flipped it up. The room was now lighted and it would be much easier for both her and Allister to see.
"Ain't nowhere else to hide!" she called into the room.

Still unseen, hidden in the shadows made from the busted lighting, the young airman could make out the young women in the door way. Her appearance struck the young man as familiar, it dawned on his quickly after a bit of thought, this was the girl he had run into in the alley only hours before.
Knowing this the young airman takes a step out of the darkness, his new TMP shouldered and aimed directly at the young woman's left flank. In a clear and somewhat loud voice, the way his TI's had spoken to him during basic, he gave an order, "Place your weapons on the ground and step away!"

Ethan flinched when the lights came on, kicking himself for not considering something that simple, currently he was just above the two new survivors, thankfully unseen as they swept their guns around the room. One male, one female, the latter seeming to be the more aggressive of the pair.
"Ain't no place else to hide." She called out. On cue, Jake revealed himself and made his reply. Ethan was impressed with the airman, he thought ahead and didn't act invincible like a lot of other survivors.
"Place your weapons on the ground and step away!"
"I'd do what he says."
Ethan lashed out with his cape, snagging the two around the wrists before dropping down the other side of the light fixture behind them, hoisting them a foot off the ground.
"He can blast the fleas off a dogs back, so this kind of shot will be not even worth him giving it a second thought afterwards."
He got a good look as he could from their placement at the two as they hung, keeping his hood low to shade his face. He turned to the girl first noticing her height compared to the other.
"Damn, you're pretty short, what are you? Eleven?"

The first order given to July was ignored. Too many times in this city alone, she was ordered to lower her weapon. Those times, she refused to follow the orders and either continued with what she was doing or got the other person to drop their weapons.
This was not quite one of those cases.
While she did ignore the order to drop her weapon, a second person chose to come in for the attack. Before she knew it, a cape wrapped around her and lifted her a little bit into the air. This was most definetely not okay. She was not injured, but being grabbed from a higher distance and held up into the air by a target standing on top of the lockers. To her, insults were just another part of being attacked. He was going to pay for that.
If there was something she knew how to do with ease, it was to escape from rope. Her normal training back home was basically for when her body was tied up, but the current situation was almost a cakewalk for her to remove herself. Without smiling or screaming insults at Ethan, July answered his question with one simple word, "Fourteen."
At first, she tried pulling on the cape to loosen it up. No luck there. Moving her hands around was her ticket to getting part of the way out of this mess. Because of her trained sense of sight and sense, July was quick enough to see the cape and only got one of her wrists caught in the cape. Her left hand, the free one, was only the only one not caught. This gave her free space to twist her body so she could grab the side pack and feel around for her knife and slice off the part of the cape just above her right wrist.
In twenty seconds, she was back onto her feet. She aimed her handgun up at where Ethan was and fired a quick bullet, purposely missing. This was to show her anger and that she was not going to follow their orders nor was she afraid of them. She aimed her gun at the other person and placed her finger on the trigger. "I ain't scared of you and I ain't gotta listen to you. Put yours down!" she ordered.

After some amount of time perusing the various offices and drawers located in them, Chris found nothing of value, nor use - as he had expected. It was the same way the last time he had been in the police station. He realized that he was only wasting his time in the station and didn't intend to waste any more. He had to find his daughter, or at least some answers as to where she may be found. Truth be told, Chris questioned whether she was even alive after all this time.
He grunted and walked toward the front entrance and out into the cold night. He had to find answers. He had to find something or someone who could help him. There was no way that he was going to let his daughter, if she were still alive, die because of his lack of focus. Once outside, he checked his 9mm...six bullets left. He would have to find some ammo someplace. If the police station had none, then God only knew where to find any, but Chris knew that he wouldn't survive without any. He had to stay sharp.
[Chris is now in the Uptown Streets]

The airman keeps his weapon trained on the young women, "You didn't shoot me in the alley, so forgive me if I don't think you will now" He says to her, remembering his little encounter with her in an alley near one of the city's pharmacy's.
"Regardless, I'm not gonna drop it, and if you shoot me, I doubt my friend will let you leave without a fight, thats if my death spasms don't pull the trigger and fill you up."

When the girl slipped loose and shot past his head, Ethan started running all the details of what just happened to himself. She was very good, she'd been doing this a long time, she handled herself better than the regular criminals he fought, possible past issues that drove her to be that good maybe he was subconcionsly holding back because she was young?
In any case, the standoff had resumed on even-ish terms again, though it was still unclear who had the advantage. Ethan snapped out of readiness when Jake spoke up.
"Wait, hold on. You know this kid?"
Maybe things could calm down a little now that they might recognise each other. He still kept his grip on the other survivor though in case their last meeting was the cause of any hostility.

July raised an eyebrow at the person holding the gun at her. He wasn't going to hurt her. That was pretty much made clear and neither would Ethan. Not like it would matter much, so long as their shots stayed around her chest and stomach, she was well protected. Still, she was not one to let her guard down so her gun remained raised even though she had no plans on using it.
After a short staredown, she decided to get onto what she was looking for. This was nowhere near an easy task due to her certain...inabilities. There were so many files on the shelves and she wasn't even sure if she was even in the right room to find the file she needed. After putting her gun down, she grabbed a folder that was on the shelf closest to the ground and looked at the top. There were words at the top, but none matched the name Jana gave her, so the entire folder was discarded on the floor of the filing room. with papers scattering out. This was done a few more times with the same results. Screw it. I'll look on one of them boxes with words. One of these guys should know how to use it.
It all came down to how to ask for help in finding a nearby computer in the most non-threatening way she knew how.
"Any of you work around here?"
