Billy took hold of the laptop and opened it. "Leave? There's no way I could make it out alive all on my own. Plus, I'm not leaving you behind or leaving those poor souls in the cages." He then began typing away on the computer. Slowly but surely he started feeling light headed. "This c..." He shook his head to wake himself back up. "This is a coded message. As long as this computer stays on they will be able to follow the signal to us." His eyes soon began closing and he started feeling dizzy. "Only two problems....ahhh...um...one, you have only five hours of battery life." He the turned and knelt on the floor and began throwing up. "Ahh...two. the freak....was poisonis." He then laid down on the floor not wanting to move. "Use the com....puter. See if you can hack into the freaks...um...file." He then started drifting off. "It might say how to reverse the...erm..effects."

Elijha looked at Billy in fear. She knelt down as he laid on the ground she put her hand on his shoulder and looked around. "I will see what I can find," she said lightly as she continued to look around. "Ah, let me get you to someplace safe first," she said lightly she knelt down, and picked him up into a rather awkward carry. She looked down at him threw the shadows the hood cast over her face. "I'm sorry, it's a bit awkward to have someone show any concern for me. The last two people were killed by my father and I was left alone," she said with a grin as she walked to an area with lawn chairs. She kicked one so it unfolded into a small bed. She laid Billy down before walking back to the computer and the rest of her equipment. Picking it up and taking it back to Billy she sat the computer down on a small table beside him.
Looking around and then at his neck, and remembering his back. "Yeah, I'll be back," she said before leaning over the computer. She fixed it so that it was a power saver. "There should give us a few more hours." Walking away she looked up at the small walk way that lead into the observation booth. Looking at Billy again she ran to the side tree and jumped up. Climbing to the top she weighed her distance, and after a small calculation she jumped. Falling short, and her hand just barley gripping the small ledge she grimaced as she felt and heard a pop. With a swing she was up on the platform. Walking to the opposite door that lead to the outside. She locked it, and walking into the observation room she pulled out a large filing cabinet and used it to block the door. "Cool where secure from up here now!" she hollered down to Billy.
Walking into the observatory she headed straight for the closet and the medical kit that was hidden inside of it. Turning to head back she stopped and switched the camera's to the outside view. She grimaced at the creatures that surrounded the dome. "Please please keep him safe," she mumbled under her breath. Walking outside, and jumped over the railing. Landing rather roughly on the small slope. Walking to Billy she set the medical kit down. Turning to the computer and started typing. Brining up the search, and let it follow there while she tended to Billy. "Let me wrap your back, before you bleed to death," she said lightly.
Shifting him to his side so she could look at the claw marks in his back. "Damn, Thank you for helping me," she said lightly as she started cleaning his back. Gently running her hand with medication over it. After she finished she placed a bandage on his back. Helping him sit up for a moment, and then removing his shirt. She wrapped him up tightly, and then helped him put his shirt back on. She looked back to the computer and sighed, as she helped him lay back down. "It's still searching," she said lightly. "I don't really know what those creatures are by name so it's harder. I just put your symptoms in and labeled it to look for poisonous test subjects," she said lightly.

Billy lazily looked around as his vision faded and his mouth went dry. "Try...temporary blindness...hopefully...cottonmouth and stiff muscles, possible paralysis." He then laid his head back onto the headrest as Vesser jumped up onto him and meowed. He reached out and petted him wich required all of his strength. "It'll be okay little guy." He said with a smile. He then sighed. "I doubt that the antidote, if there is one, will be in that kit. It's most likely in the infirmary or the Freak development area." He then reached into one of the pockets and pulled out something handing it to Elijia. In his hand was an eawig and what looked like a tiny helmet with a lipstick camera and earpiece.
"The antidote will probably be in a small vial of some sort. Vesser can't open complicated locks but he understands commands and can hold small objects in his mouth. With that equipment you might be able to direct him to the proper room and have him pick up the proper vial if it's out in the open. I just hope that Vesser trusts you enough to take commands from you."

Elijha looked at Billy and then at his hand. She smiled lightly before taking the piece and setting it up. She then quickly turned back to the computer and typed in the new symptoms including death, because with the way things were going she knew that Billy was dying. It was killing her to watch him like this. Her father had killed everyone who ever came in contact with her, just to make her miserable. She sighed lightly before she looked at Vesser. Turning back to the computer while it was doing it's search she minimized that and then pulled up the floor plans of the facility. She reached over gently and scratched his ear. "I still can't get over how adorable and smart you are," she said with a gentle smile. She scooped him up and sat him on the table, and turned the computer so he could see.
"See this is the ventilation shaft set up. I'll still be able to guide you, but encase anything happens. That way you can still get there and back to save your friend," she said lightly. "The medical lab is about a thirty minute walk on the ground, by human. I can run it anywhere between 15 to 20 minutes at just a small trot, but still faster than human. I know you could probably do the same. I'll let you know what vial it is when you get there," she explained. Picking Vesser up she made her way up to the tree, and once more did her volley of jumps. Though this jump to the plat form was a bit more firm so she actually grabbed the pole. Setting Vesser down she climbed over and walked into the observation room. "I'll be here waiting for when you come back," she said as she walked over to the vent, and pulled it off. Looking down toward Vesser she smiled lightly as she knelt down scratching his ear. "I know you probably don't trust me. Lord knows I sometimes wonder about trusting myself, but this is to save your friend. Be careful, and keep your head down low. Those creatures are smart as well, and we don't want anything happening to you." She smiled as she watched Vesser walk into the vent.
She headed back outside and stopped at the door. She walked over to it and the cabinet in front of it. Looking around she realized that those creatures were trying to tear it down. "Damn, I pray that it holds," she said lightly as she pushed the cabinet as firmly against it as possible. She jumped back to the ground and made her way to Billy when she noticed something. Running over to the computer screen she let out a sigh of relief. Three viable antidotes popped up. She started skimming threw each for the creature that caused it. 'Cool' she mouthed before speaking into the ear piece. "Vesser listen. The antidote is a small already pre pared needle. The liquid inside would be almost violet in color, and have the word 'Vixen' written on it," she explained. "It'll also have a white powder settled in the bottom of it. Find it and bring it back. Then Billy will be as good as new," she explained.

Billy lazily shook his head. "N-no. Your giving to many commands. He's smart but to a point. Put the helmet on him and link it to the computer. Using the lipstick camera observe his movements. Use basic commands like left right or straight. He'll understand colors, yes no. Things like that." He then heard Vesser meow out from the platform above. "Vesser, listen to Elijia, no if ands or buts. I really need your help with this one." With that said Vesser meowed again and leaped into the ventalation shaft. "Sometimes I wonder just how much of what I say he can comprehend. I think he understands the general message but the details are beyond his understanding.

Elijha nodded as she turned back to the computer. She followed Vesser's movement. He was fine as much as any cat in a ventilation shaft would be. "Turn right," she said softly and watched the camera move. Looking back at Billy she frowned. "We'll have to turn the computer off, and turn it on every thirty or so minutes for just a couple minutes at a time. To long and like you mentioned earlier. The batter would die and your friends will have a harder time finding us," she pointed out turning back to the screen. "Right," she said and continued to watch the screen. "Left, and then another right," she said watching the camera take a sharp turn. "Good boy. This is the vent," she said. She watched the vent pop off with ease and the bright light of the medical lab flash threw her screen. "Still your cat's amazing," she said lightly as she watched Vesser move around the room. She smiled as she seen a cabinet. "Good the brown cabinet. Someone left it open," she said. She watched the camera bobble a couple of times before jumping to the third shelf. Several vials lined the shelf. "No not that one. No not that one either," she said. "Damn practically all these needles look like they've already been used. "Vesser that one to the far left . . . Good boy, bring it back," she said as she watched him pick it up and then head for the vent. There was a noise in the background, and people shouting. "Vesser move it," she said as she watched the vent come back into view. "Well that went well," she said with a grin. "Going to get your cat."
Climbing to her feet she made her way back to the tree, and did her jumps to the top plat form. Her eyes once more fell on the door. "Damn it, how long has this been open," she growled as she ran to the door and shut it. She practically broke the lock, and bent the metal frame around it. Her eyes scanning the room, but didn't see anything. She pushed the cabinet back in front of the door before turning around to see Vesser. "Fast cat now aren't we," she said with a smile. Taking the syringe and the cat she jumped back down to the ground. Setting Vesser on the table she knelt beside Billy and pulled the needle out of it's package. Preparing the solution, she then shook it hard, and stuck it in his arm. Injecting the liquid she rubbed his arm just above the needle. "Alright now, only time will tell," she said as she looked out into the over grown vegetation. "s***," she mumbled remembering the door.

"Ow..." Billy muttered as he grabbed the jab point. "Some warning next time?" He asked laying his head back down. He soon felt Vesser beside him Before petting him he took the equipment off. "Vesser hates the helmet." He said placing it aside. "It's like those people who dress up their animals. I would never do that to him." He then heard the sound of scraping metal. "We need to get moving. Sincell freaks were given human brains to give them decision making capabilities and problem solving abilities. We have to think of another haven, possibly setting up a few traps." Sitting up he let out a small grown as he blindly reloaded his revolvers.
"We can't keep fighting these things. We need to give them a reason to call them off." He then thought for a bit. "I've been to other Sincill complexes. They always insert internal earwigs into the freaks ears to give commands. They usually issue those commands from one of the rooms in the Freak labs. If we can get to that room we can turn those creatures on the guards and get them off our case. Any Idea of where they might keep that room or how we could get to it with reasonable safety?"

Elijha looked at Billy and frowned. "We have to go back to the beginning," she said lightly. She looked out into the vegetation hearing the shuffling now. She frowned as she shut the computer down, and put everything back in the message bag. She turned back to the low growl, but before she could completely turn around she was flung up against the wall. Hitting the ground with the creature on top of her. "Really!" she growled as she braced herself and threw herself back up causing the creature to fling back. She turned on her heals toward the creature. "The only way back out is threw these creatures at the top or the door we came threw. Or threw the access hatch up at the UV lights. I can get you up there, but I'm not going to say it'll be fun for me," she shouted before dashing at the creature.
Meeting it half way with her fist. The force causing them both to tumble down the small hill. The creature coming out on top. She gripped the base of it's neck trying to keep it's teeth off of her. She felt the light burning her face from the exposure of her hood being back. She felt the tears in her eyes as she gripped the creatures neck tighter, and then there was a resounding snap with the creature going lip. She threw the creature off and stood up before collapsing to one knee. She slipped her hood back on, and pulled it firmly down over her face. She shifted so she could look at Billy threw the shadows of her hood. "Sun and UV light burns me," she explained before looking at the ground. "One reason why I was marked for extermination. Well which way do you want to go. Just let me know," she said lightly as she wrapped her arms around her shoulders.

As Elijia continued talking Billy's vision started to come back slowly. "Well I guess heading to the Freak command room is out of the question then. Before we even reached the destination those things will have either taken us out or we would have killed them all." Sitting up he put the equipment back into his overcoat. "D@mn it's hot with this thing on. I should wear a backpack or something. But on the plus side I think the Columbo look works for me." He said with a slight laugh getting up onto one of his knees.
"You've got quite a lot of tricks up your sleeve. If it wasn't for the light thing I would think you would almost be a ringer for their ideal candidate." He then stood up and stretched out his back. Moving still hurt but he thought he would be able to move around alright for the time being. Besides, if they stuck around here they would die. Looking over he patted Vesser on the head. "This guy has some tricks too. Hightened smell and hearing. He can tell where these things are which means he'll be able to tell us the best way outta here." He then looked down at Vesser. "Find safety Vesser." Billy said plainly. Vesser meowed and then took off to the side wall behind the foliage. Billy quickly followed pushing the plants aside. There he found a wall panel with a small section sticking out. Reaching into his coat he pulled out his screw driver and began removing the scres from the panel as more bangs came from the door. Once removing it he looked inside.
"Theres a small space between this room and the next. We can probably work our way to another room. It'll be a tight fit though so I hope you don't mind tight spaces." Vesser meowed and headed into the crawl space. Billy gestured for Elijia. "You first. Follow Vesser, He'll know where to go."

Elijha rushed over and grabbed her messenger bag, and then ran to Billy. She followed Vesser into the whole and grumbled slightly. "You know this would have probably been easer if I could have taken my cloak off before getting in," she said with a small laugh. Though the truth be told she wouldn't have been able to. Even that small time in the light could have taken it's tole. She looked back to make sure that Billy was following, and for a moment frowned when she didn't see him. She stopped for a moment, and then seen him wedging threw here. "Good thing were not claustrophobic," she said with a small laugh before following Vesser. She stopped when he meowed and pawed at another indention in the wall. Trying to turn around she frowned when she found she couldn't. "I hate tight places," she moaned.
Feeling around until she found what to believe was the center of the panel she started hitting it. It took several times before it popped out. Grinning as she was able to wedge her self over and climbed out. Removing her hood and the cloak as she shifted a bit. "Ah normal lite so much cooler," she said with a laugh as she watched Vesser and Billy make their way in. She walked over to the panel and stuck it back in place. Looking around she frowned slightly. "I don't know where we are," she said as she walked over to one of the large tanks. It was cold, and the tanks were half glass and half metal. "It almost looks like a cryo room," she said as she looked back to Billy.

Billy exited the crawl space and looked around. He nodded. "Looks like." Not wanting to waste any time he headed to the door. "Normally I would raise the temperature and destroy these things but I have a feeling that someone somewhere is monitoring these tanks. If we disturb them we'll give ourselves away." He quickly turned the lock and looked around for something to block the door with. "We should keep our voices down too. This includes you two Vesser." He then spotted two metal cabinets to either side of the door.
"Can you help me with these?" He asked. With Elijias help they managed to lean both cabinets down blocking the entryway. Heading over to Elijia he put his overcoat on his shoulders. "Here...keep yourself warm we might be here for awhile." Sitting down in the corner he waited for Vesser to walk over to him. "And don't go saying it's not nessisary. I come from up north. I'm used to the cold and I've been sweating to death in that thing ever since I arrived." He then looked at the metal vats. "If we get discovered we'll tip those over. It'll freeze the floor good enough to bash down into the lower level."

Elijha looked at Billy as she pulled the coat tighter around her. She held up her own coat or rather cloak as she had been calling it. It wasn't all that warm, but made her hot and on some days it got so bad that it made her sick. She huggled Billy's coat as she walked over and sat next to him. She removed the messanger bag, and sat it down right next to her. Pulling up her knees she wrapped her arms around them. "How long will it take your friends to get here?" she asked lightly as she looked over to him. She found that out of the many people she had met he was one of the few nicer people out there. She smiled at the thought and rested her head in her arms.
"I worry about what will happen if my father gets a hold of us," she finally spoke up after a bit. "He's not the gentlest person out there, and I worry about what he wants to do with you. I know what he plans to do with me. You made that quite evident, but looking at those creatures . . . I don't want that to happen to you. An it's because of me your still here," she said lightly. Sighing heavily as she closed her eyes, and tightened her grip around her knees. "Though, thank you. Since my two friends died several years ago I've been alone. No one has showen me any kindness until you came alone. I almost forgot what it was like," she said with a small laugh.
Shivering heavily she looked at Billy and smiled. "I'm still human," she said lightly. "Just with some flaws," she laughed a bit. "They more or less come naturally, but with a bit of help. My coat," she said pointing to it as it laid stiffly on the ground. "Weighs 75lbs. Nothing but lead to keep the UV rays from it. At times I get so hot it makes me sick. Wear it to long, and I even get headaces from it. Though it was worse when I was younger. I started with a 175lbs one, and then it kept going down by 25 pounds as we learned what I could wear out into the daylight. I guess all that weight helped out. this one just seems like a feather." She grined with a chilled smile. "That's why I can just father and move faster. I'm even better without it on. Pluse my nanny's boyfriend was a marine. He taught me how to fight and shoot a gun. After my parents died they pratically took me up," she explained as she let out a small yawn.
"Though," she paused as she unconciously laid her head on Billy's shoulders. "Wearing a skirt in this weather doesn't help at all," she said with a laugh. She gripped her knees tighter as she closed her eyes. "If we start the computer up. How about every hour, for at least thirty minutes. That way we can save the battery. Maybe a little later fine another power source to charge it too," she explained. Yawning again, before she closed her eyes, and not to soon after falling alseep.

Billy jumped as soon as Elijia rested her head on him. It was nothing personal he just didn't like being touched. It always just made him uncomfortable. As she fell asleep he remained tense and soon saw Vesser giving him a strange look. In responce he returned his look with one of his own and soon Vesser trotted away. After a few minutes he moved away and rested Elijia on the ground and let out a sigh of relief. Once again he had his personal space back and was able to loosen up.
Reaching into one of his pockets he pulled out a scope with a number of buttons and dials. Putting it up to his eye he turned on the x-ray mode and looked out the wall facing the door. In the hallway he watched as a skeleton of one of the creatures pass by without even giving the door a glance. The coolent tanks were masking both thier heat signatures and smells. He then looked down at the floor. Looking down with the scope always made him feel slightly sick but he had to get a handle on the surroundings. Though he couldn't see any objects the room looked empty of any life. At this point he would normally send the optic chord through the vent to take a look but it was in his coat and he didn't want to wake his new companion. Knowing that one of them had to stay awake he kept himself busy by reading the information on the tanks.

Elijha yawned slightly as she shifted on the floor. She rolled to her side and opened her eyes just barley. It took a moment to realize what she was doing, and she sat up soon regretting it. Her body was cold, and her hand nearly frozen. It wasn't like it was zero below or anything, but it was still in the unnatural temperature of cold. She sat up, and slid her hands under the end of the jacket and rubbed her legs to get the feeling back to them. "Short shirt in winter, bad idea," she mumbled as she stood up. Stumbling a bit as she moved around to try and get some form of heat back to her legs.
"Cold . . . how do you do it?" she asked lightly as she walked over to Billy. She knelt down and rubbled her legs a bit more. "Sorry about earlier, but I've just been really tired. With the lack of sleep and all," she said with a weak laugh. She walked over to one of the chambers and ran her hand across it. "These are humans," she said lightly. After a moment and a closer look she realized that they werent. "No, there genetic enhances. Their facial features are obscured in some way. This man actually has wiskers. . .hehe . . . catman," she said with a small laugh. She looked back at Billy and smiled lightly. "Any plans. Were starting to get into the part of the labs i couldn't even access before. So I don't know anything about them or where we are going," she explained.

As soon as Elijia asked him how he was so used to the gold his eyes glazed over and his mind wandered back turning back the clock. Once again he found himself in the barn-house in the dead of winter. Off in the distance a large estate burned to the ground as he watched helplessly. Then came Elijias laughter which brought him back to reality. Taking a look at Elijia he soon grew worried. "We can't stay any longer. If we do you'll freeze." He then spotted one of the center vats. He then looked over. "Hug the walls, I can't have you getting hurt." When she was out of the way he walked up behind one of the canister and pushed it over and watched it crash on the floor. He quickly backed away.
"It shouldn't take long for the liquid nitrogen to work it's way through. We just need to wait a moment until it solidifies. After a few minutes he took the metal stand that held the canister and threw it through the floor smashing it into several small shards of ice. Carefully he walked to the edge and looked down. Satisfied that everything was sound he jumped down casually. Once on the floor below he took a look around. He was now in what appeared to be a lab with a one way mirror. On the other side he saw what looked to be some sort of holding cell for observation. He then moved back to the hole. "It's safe. Come on down."
