After the conversation between James and Emily, Arc had been resting his eyes, listening to them speak. When they saw the market nearing them, his eyes opened and looked over, but didnt see anything from his side view. After the truck stopped, Emily had spoke to him, wondering if he would be well enough to move. Arc checked himself, James had definitly done a great job ad bandaging him up, maybe if he was up and moving around the energy would keep his blood pumping.
"Yeah, ill be fine. F*ck it." As the back of the truck opened up, James and Emily had helped him out and onto the ground. Moving around from their grip, he walked on his own, everything seemed pretty solid. His arm was a little stiff from being in the same position, but the pain had bee keeping at ease. The first thing he did was grab his .45 from his side, and draw it forward to let his eyes wander down the sights. His vision seemed clear enough to hit a moving target, which was enough motivation for him. "With all respect, I dont feel comfourtable enough leading..."

Emily nodded understandingly as she allowed James to help Arc walk. Jack had a hold on Lucy's hand, a gun in the other hand as he followed behind Emily. Emily wasn't really the type to take lead, but right now, it kinda felt like they were depending on her. She'd much rather follow her Uncle who's more reliable, but he wasn't about to leave his grand daughter's side anytime soon.
The former officer made her way into the store, cautiously looking around. Strangely, everythng was intact. There were no messes, the food was all still there and there didn't seem to be any undead. Then agan, this was a small town.
"It's...empty...and clean..." Emily muttered. Upon walking further in, Emily took a look around, carefully analyzing their surroundings. The only thing that seemed out of order were the cash registers. Suprisingly those were the only things broken and seemed to be missing money.

As soon as James was helping Arc walk, he brushed him off politely, and moved on his own. He was able to do it himself, his vision was just impaired from the lack of blood. But he could tell that the man was keeping an eye on him, which assured him that if anything were to happen, he would be very reliable.
Every now and then, Arc would raise his gun, and aim through the sights to test out his vision. By the time he had gotten inside the store behind Jack, he had made his way to the drink section of the store. Grabbing a can of the first energy drink he had seen, Arc opened up the can and downed it in seconds. As soon as that was finished, hed go for the next, until he had consumed four of these. By this time, James had stopped him, it couldnt have been healthy. But something drew him towards them, perhaps it was some after affect of the infection.
In minuts, he checked his sights again, and his vision and focus had been greatly improved now. Arc aimed the gun at the empty can, and was able to focus on them without much extra movement in his hands. Looking at James, he spoke out in a calm tone. "Well now... That seemed to do the trick. What the hell are in those things?"

James scoffed a little and began listing off a variety of ingredients on his fingers. "Caffeine,Taurine, Guarana, B Vitamins, Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba, L-Carnitine, Glucose, Anti-oxidants, Glucuronolactone, Acai Berry...." he trailed off. He chuckled and reached for a soda before walking off to follow his Grandpa.
"But mainly lots and lots of Caffeine and Glucose. s***loads. Expect a crash within a few hours!" he joked.
Emily was on another aisle, her stomach growling fiercely. She held onto it and looked around, reaching for the nearest thing, which would be potato chips. Quickly ripping open the bag, she started taking a few out and popping them in her mouth as she moved along, grabbing a few more things and stuffing it into a satchel she got from the entrance. Soon after she was washing the chips down with a wine cooler and headed for the First Aid section.
Jack and Lucy had been off in the cereal aisle. Little Lucy had wanted some Cookie Crisps so her grandfather agreed to take her to get some while supplying himself with his own needs. As they did so, Jack patted his grand-daughter's hair affectionately. "C'mon, kid, let's go get you some milk for that cereal before the power decides to die out," he informed her.
The little girl smiled and nodded. "Kay, grampa," she told him. As they both turned to leave, Jack heard a thump and before he could react he was hit in the back of the head with the butt of a shotgun. Lucy screamed in horror as she watched. "GRAMPAAAA!" she yelled, through tears as she dropped her cereal.
"Emily quickly turned around and began hauling ass back to where she heard the scream. Once she was in the cereal aisle, Lucy and Jack had been gone. The only thing left was an opened box of cereal. "Uncle Jack! Lucy!" She called out, her heart racing. As she began to back trek through the aisles, she noticed a few silhouettes passing by at the end of one aisle. They seemed to have been chuckling and muttering before going completely out of sight.
"Hey!" she yelled trying to catch up, but oddly they were already gone. As she shook her head and looked around, James and Arc had came running up to her. "Emily! Are you alright?! Where's Grandpa and Lucy?!" James asked.

Arc had heard the footsteps sprinting away, and before anyone would stop him, he ran off in the direction of where he thought the culprets took off in. With his .45 in front of him, he moved quickly through the back of the store, until he came into a massive garage station. Surprisingly, there was a number of cars in the area, but they wouldnt be able to get out without first opening up the heavy doors in front.
Taking cover behind one of the vehicles, Arc crouched down, and moved quietly around the cars. Peeking up every now and then, he could hear movement coming from across the garage. Just as he was about to peek up again, he saw a shadow of a shotgun aimed his way. But before he could react, Emily and James had already came through the door. "Get down!" The shotgun blast it the wall beside them, as they got down behind the first car.

Emily slammed her back against a truck, pulling James down with her. A few more shots rung out, multiple, small, holes piercing through the wall behind them and nearly destroying the doors. The woman narrowed her eyes and cautiously got back onto her feet in a crouch. She looked back at the young man beside her and gestured for him to stay put.
Looking up and over the truck a little, she saw two figures standing atleast 20 feet away. She rose her gun up and took a few shots, sadly, the two men or women managed to move out of sight before being struck.
"Dammit!"she hissed, ducking down again as two more rounds were spent toward her. Sheheard some more shots nearby, it had to have been Arc. Taking this advantage, she made James stay where he was and crawled beneath the car, making it to another car and then reared in closer to a SUV parked but a few feet away as the stand-off between them and Arc ensued.
When she got to her feet, she heard them move around and drop their spent shells. She quickly stood up and took another few shots, striking one in the arm. Arc had gotten up at this point at went after the other culprit, shooting him in the chest. To their horror, he managed to get back up and the two ran off. Apparently the bastard wore a bullet proof vest.

Without even pausing for anger, Arc ran forward, and vaulted over the hood of the car, bolting out the door. Upon leaving, he saw the man stumble by and around back of the garage, but Arc fired a shot, hitting the man in the leg. As he fell to the ground, Arc lifted him up, and pushed out into the open, using him as a shield. The yelled in pain when more bullets shot toward him, hitting his body armor, and leaving him winded.
Dropping the body, Arc held his .45 in both hands, and fired at the other two men in sight, killing them with six rounds. Now kneeling down at the man who was still alive, Arc held his jaw, and put the gun to his face. "If your not going to tell me anything useful, lets just make this quick!" The man just kept his mouth closed, waiting for Arc to up his poker hand. But he just whipped the man in the side of the head, putting him unconsious. By this time, Emily and James were at the scene, as Arc yelled. "I dont know where they went...!"

Emily's eyes widened as she shook her head. "Dammit! Where the f**k are they?!" Emily yelled anxiously. Footsteps sounded themselves behind the three but before anyone could respond, there was a familiar voice.
"Where are who?"
James was the first to spin around and smile widely. "Mom!" he yelled, running up to her and practically tackling her with a hug. The readhead smiled and hugged him back. "Oh James, I missed ya!" she said.
Behind her was tall man with messy dark hair, brown, brooding eyes and stubble. James glanced over at him and smiled again. "Richard! you're alright!"
Emily sighed and turned to Arc who looked a little pleased to see the two. "This isn't going to end well..." she muttered, shaking her head. "I'm going on ahead, Arc!" she told the man before running off. James immediately followed. "Emily wait! I'm going too!"
Anna knitted her eyeborws together. "Hey! Get back here! There's a s***load of zombies surrounding the entire market! It's dangerous to go out back!" she yelled. Sadly they'd already left. Anna looked around again and then back at Arc.
"Arc, what the hell happened to you? And...where's my daughter?"
((I have too many NPCs...but they'll be goin away pretty soon...))

Arc didnt have time to catch Emily and James, but he saw two famillier faces. Covering up his arm, he spoke out to Anna. "Its nothing, we have to get out of here! Talk and run..." Arc moved in the direction the others had taken off in. He was obviously much slower then them, but at least he felt confident now that there was two more people with him. Before getting too far, Arc holstered his .45 and picked up the shotgun from one of the bodies, then also grabbed a rusty TEC9 machine pistol from the other body. The MP fit in his belt, and he carried the shotgun now.
As they moved away from the market, Arc spoke up before Anna could ask him again. "These bandits took Jack and the little one, I tried to chase them down, but im too slow..." He knew that Anna would still be wondering about his arm, and why it was slowing him down, he was never the one to be weak. But Arc tried to shrug it off, it wasnt important. They needed to catch up with Emily and James, as soon as possible. But the infected seemed to get to them quicker, and soon they were out numbered. James and Emily were still nowhere in site, so it looked like they would have to handle this on their own for now.

That forecast had hit Anna like a ton of bricks. Her eyes widened and whelmed up with worry and tears. She looked almost like she'd seen a ghost at this point. A look on her face she hadn' worn since she first laid eyes on an undead. "Lucy..." she muttered.
Richard scowled and looked ahead. "Dammit! What the hell would they want with an old man and a little girl?" he asked, thinking. Anna's shoulder slumped as she wiped at her eyes and gripped tightly onto her shotgun. "What else would a bunch of perverts want with a little girl?!" She yelled angrily before darting off in the same direction Emily and James had gone.
Richard held onto his weapon just as tight and went along after her. "Anna! Wait! Sonuva...C'mon Arc!" he yelled out, chasing after his friend.

"Yeah!" Arc followed after Richard the best he could, but he could only manage to keep an eye on the rear of the group. As they moved through the open around, he seen the infected gathering behind them all. There wasnt much of a horde, but at least a dozen of them were moving closer. But the freaky part was the infected seemed to be much faster then before. By the time Arc had ran out of energy to keep running, he stopped, and turned around with the shotgun.
He didnt want Richard and Anna to stop the chase, Arc could take these undead head on. Firing the shotgun twice, the spread down, giving him enough time to pump more shells into place. After another shot, the gun clicked, it was empty. Taking out the TEC9 from his side, Arc open fired onto the crowd. He couldnt get a very precise shot, but it wasnt a very tactical weapon for him.

Anna had ran through the horde, ducking and dodging passed zombies, shoving them aside with her shotgun and panting heavily. She had to find her father and her daughter at all costs! If they laid one finger on them, there'd be hell to pay.
Little ways behind, Richard had persued after Anna. He had done a pretty good job butting away the undead and had little time to look back and see Arc was ripping through them with bullets. So long as he wasn't really falling behind, he wouldn't complain. Right now he was more concerned for the little girl's wellbeing.
He nearly slammed into Anna when he saw her burst through a back exit and staring up at something in awe. Looking up at what she was gazing at, he saw an old man tied up and being held up by a crane over a large group of undead. Anna immediately recognized the old man for her father.
"Dad..." she muttered out of breath. Clenching her fists tightly, she looked back at him and Arc who caught up after plastering zombies. She put a finger to her mouth and crouched down, slipping away behind a few vending machines and inching closer to the upstart.

The bullets had all been used up, As Arc tossed the gun to the ground, and then ran after Jake. Anna was already long gone, so they would have to catch up quickly. Only issue on that was he found moving was a little difficult for him, and fell behind for the most part. Worse yet, the infected were still gaining on them. But Jake had stopped to see him, and then helped him at least get away from them.
Upon reaching Anna, Arc looked up and saw her old man hanging from a large crane. She was being quiet, as he crouched down beside her, peeking around the corner of a storage crate. The was a smaller warehouse to the right, and he caught glimpse of the door close. Arc pointed, and spoke silently to Anna. "You and Richard get him down, im going into the building and finding your daughter..."

Anna grasped ahold of Arc's arm and frowned. "You're wounded. I want you to take Richard with you," she whispered to him. Richard reeled his head back and scowled. "What? He can take care of himself. I'm not a baby-sitter," he told Anna. Anna glared at him and pouted a little.
"He doesn't need a baby-sitter, he needs a partner to help him. Please Richard....for my daughter's sake..." she pleaded with her old friend. Richard looked at Anna's saddened face and sighed, brushing a hand through his hair. He couldn't let her down....
"What about you?" he asked, worriedly.
Anna smiled meekly. "I've got this covered. Now you two...go find my Lucy and James...please, I'm counting on you two..." she told them before going off to find a way to her father. Richard watched her leave and sighed yet again.
"Anna...God dammit...." he trailed off, glancing over to Arc. "Alright, let's go find Anna's daughter," he told him, walking ahead.

With the shotgun in hand, Arc followed by Richards side. He gave off a familiar vibe, it reminded him of quite some time back. As much as he knew Richard wasnt up from tagging along with him, Arc made his focus on finding Lucy and James. Richard took the lead as Arc crouched behind the short steel wall beside the entrance to the warehouse. Peeking up, he noticed that it was a tall building with ladders and stairs leading up to a broken down control room used to control various machines inside.
Arc looked at Richard, and then moved up infront. "Ill take the lead, im wearing armor thatll save use from walking into a trap..." But this wasnt really his only excuse as to why he would out himself in danger over Richard, he would just rather keep it to himself. Peeking around the wall into the first staircase, he noticed there was shuffling up the steps from an infected. As both Arc and it locked eyes, the zombies head was blown off from a gunshot. It didnt come from Richard, it came from the top level. "Sh*t, well this makes thing difficult."
