When Mrs. ‘Henderson’ came out of the bedroom, Scott simple stood there and smiled to her. She looked around, and he turned to look toward the door.
“They went to go find something to eat, apparently.” He said as he put his hand on the dome on the cart. “Too bad they didn’t stick around, it would make my job easier.” He said, as it he were serving food. Grabbing the handle of the dome, he lifted and tossed it aside, taking the gun in hand and swiftly aiming it at her. The look of surprise on her face stuck as Scott fired three rounds into her chest, all in or around her heard. The noise was reduced to a whisper though the suppressor. He walked over and aimed once more, putting another round through her forehead.
Swapping out magazines and tucking the gun into the back of his waistband, under the jacket he wore, he grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder. He walked out of the room and heard it lock. Now, to find the kids… He saw them inside an elevator, along with their father. He smiled to them to avoid suspicion and bolted toward the staircase. He took the steps two at a time, but when he got to the top, he saw them inside the helicopter.
“Dammit…” He muttered, reaching into the bag’s outside pocket and pulling out what looked like a cartridge with a silver bullet. He dropped the magazine and ejected the round in the chamber, placing the silver round into it and snapping it closed. He aimed and fired, the retort totally silent. He heard the small ping of it hitting the bird, and picked up his dropped magazine. He would catch up to them later, but now he had something else to do.
“Time to find her other merc…” He said with a mutter, walking back inside and to the elevator.
