Patient Zero simply backed up and watched the man swing around. He breathed heavily, laughing. He was starting to become bored with this man. He looked back over to the women, who was cowering. He made his way towards her.
Come....Play He thought. He pointed at her as he walked.

Jay flinched slightly as she watched the creature moving toward her. She wasn't like Giddeon or Koni, she wasn't a hand to hand combat specialist, and with the serum running threw her body from her last transformation there was no turning any time soon. She bit her lip and backed up just a step, and turned to look at Giddeon. Knowing not that he was done playing it was time to put an end to this. Jay steadied her M16 against her shoulder, and let it take one more step before she open fired on the creature.

Patient Zero took a few hits before sidestepped. He was in pain now as he continued walking to the woman. He reached out to grab the muzzle of her gun. He hated guns....wanted to break them...break the people who had them. This female had become weak.

Jay looked up at the creature as she tried to pull back on her gun. It was more out of instinct, but she didn't need it. She still had her Remington 700, but that was a long ranged weapon and at the moment it would prove rather useless. Instead she dropped the M16 and took another step back as she pulled her Springfield from it's side holster, and fired off several rounds. If anything she could put as many bullets into the creatre as she possibly could.

"GHHH...." Patient Zero spit up blood, and dropped to one knee. He looked at it, now angry. Angry that this woman had resorted to the weakness of a gun, angry that she had made him bleed, angry that she was not able to entertain him. "RHHHHHAAAWWWW" He sprung up and charged her, trying to get a hold of her. He would crush the very life out of her, he thought.

"Enough of this!" Koni yelled out pulling out her hook shot. Whipping it around like a lasso she through it out, the tine fiber wire making a whirling noise as it went through the air. She had arced it so that the creature walked right into it and instantly wrapped around its neck causing it to fall to the ground. Once it was down she started dragging the body using the chord to the dams edge. After tieing the other end to a pull, she used all of her strength to toss the creature over and waited until the chord became tight.
OOC: your creature can drop free into the water but the combat is done now

Pulling back hard, Patient Zero tried to break free. Instead, he was thrown over into the water making a huge splash. Blood eeked out into the water, rising to it's surface and slowly dispersing. Patient Zero slowly swam to the side of the land. He pulled himself up onto the bank. "RHHHHAAAA..." He let loose a low roar. He angrily stomped off into the woods. The group was too strong...but it didn't matter. He would come back to them in a little while and finish them off. ((gettin' scared Buddah? jk.)) ((Patient Zero will be moving into Outskirts Kennel))

Jay sighed a bit as she looked up at Koni with a weak smile. "Thank you," she said lightly before turning to Giddeon. "Are you okay?" she asked as she moved to walk toward him, but stopped instantly remembering what she was doing. She sighed again as she looked up at him with a weak smile. "It's been quite some time . . . and . . . and I was deathly terrified," she admitted as she lowered her M16. "I was more frozen in place than anything else. I didn't know what to do." Jay closed her eyes as she turned to look at Fira. "It's been quite some time since we've actually been in the field like this. Not to mention I know what I'm going to have to do when we get back from our vacation," she said as she looked back at Giddeon.
"I don't know if you want to do that," Fira said with a laugh as she walked up to Jay and patted her back. "Koni might torture you if you chose to take up hand to hand combat. Being another female in the field of combat. She's going to make sure you know your stuff," she said with a laugh. "Torture you to be better than Giddeon, and then he's not going to be able to dominate you in b . . ."
"Alright if that's enough talking," Elijha spoke up as she turned to the Fira and Jay. "We can talk more later, but we need to get moving now."

Giddeon blushed slightly looking over at Jay before his cheeks hurt so bad he had to turn away. Koni nodded winding her hookshot up. "I agree. All that noise attracted attention. We need to keep moving. Giddeon C-mon, your leading with me. Jay guard the Tallsons, Elijia and Fira bring up the back. Giddeon nodded and began moving forward but stopped when he was standing near Jay. "Do what you want I'll always be...on top." He joked before moving forward and up to Koni.
As they walked forward thin swarms came from behind crashed SUV's and taxi cabs. "Got it!" Giddeon called out instantly taking aim. Firing off three shots he hit an oncoming woman in the chest, shoulder and then finally in the head dropping it. Next a child darted out from behind a motorcycle and, such the target was small, he fully opened fire riddling the body with bullets until it stopped moving and his gun clicked dry. Ejecting the clip he put in a fresh one and continued moving forward. It wasn't long before they saw it. Along the side of the dam roadway were military vehicles now and soon a large pillar blocked there view
"What's this all about?" Koni asked looking up at it. Giddeon then used his flashlight to look over the pillar which now appeared to be a large lead wall spanning the entire width of the dam roadway and around three stories high.
"It's a roadblock." Giddeon said walking up to it. "Umbrella used it to keep infected civilians from entering the outer forest area. We're on the clean side. Who knows whats on the other side." After searching the scene he finally found a computer terminal. He tried typing on it but there was no power. "This thing isn't budging on it's own." He then looked around curiously. "I could hotwire the computer terminal from a car but it'll require lots of care. Anyone think they can get this open?" He said looking at Wade. Koni then stepped in.
"NO NO! Wade and Gina are going to be in one of those military vehicles when you release the floodgates. I wont allow him anywhere near there until both sides are officially clean."

Jay looked at Koni and then to Giddeon. Once she had taken up her guarding position beside Wade and Gina she hadn't said anything. She felt kind of ashamed that Koni took up the front, and pushed her to the middle. It almost made her feel like she was being the one protected, even though she wasn't. Jay sighed a bit as she realized that she should have kept her mouth shut about how she felt toward the creature. She raised her M16 as she took a slight step forward. Her eyes scanning the surroundings a bit. She might not be strong when she wasn't transformed, but she still got a hang of some of her abilities. The problem was knowing when to use them, and in this case not cowering out in the process.
She looked at Koni as she bit her lip for a moment. "I can get to the other side, and check how clear it is without having to open the gate," she said as she pointed to a nearby tree. "That tree might not reach to the top of the wall, but I can jump the rest of the way. Get to the other side, and I don't have to worry about getting infected since I already am. I can check the damage and the infection amount, and radio back what I fine. All clear you open up," she explained as she looked at Giddeon. "What do you think?"

"What? No...no, no hell no." He said walking up and looking at the tree. He then looked down the dam. "Do you know how far down that is? The fall would kill you...."
"GIDDEON!" Koni barked out. She then looked around. She then tossed Jay a grenade. "Climb to the top, tell us what you see but DO NOT go over." She then looked at Giddeon. "You, get juice flowing into that system again." She then turned to Elijia. "When the power is up and I give the word I want you to do your thing on the computer to try and get this thing open." She then pointed to the grenade she had tossed to Jay.
"That is a decoy crated back in New Haven. It basically acts like cat-nip to any nearby BOW's. Before we open the gate I want you to activate that and toss it away from the street to the right. That leads to our destination. It should reduce our opposition some." As Koni spoke Giddeon shook his head.
"It's still to dangerous. Koni, give me you rip shot." Koni then darted a look at him. "Just give it to me...please." Somewhat grunting she tossed it to him. He in turn tossed it to Jay. "Tie it on to your tactical belt and throw it back to me. I'll be your life-line if something happens." He then grew jokingly cross at her. "And you better come back in one piece or you'll be in trouble with me."

Jay nodded as she walked over to the tree, and grabbed the first branch using it to help her up into the tree. Climbing to the top she made sure everything was secured, before kneeling down and using her inhuman strength to jump into the air. Clearing the top of the wall, and landing on the edge. She stumbled a bit as she finally caught her footing. Her eyes growing wide at the site before her. She sighed a bit as she tied the hook shot to her belt, and threw the other end down to Giddeon. "I think they gave the 'Dead Sea' the wrong name," she said lightly as she looked back at the group.
"I don't think we could take a step without coming across a walker, and not to mention have enough ammo to plow threw them all. So once you get this gate open, head for the tree clearing. I can keep a snipper's position, and help you out from up here. Then I can find my way down," she said as she turned back to look at the undead crowd just shuffling about as if they were lost. "What ever you decide hurry up." She said as she turned back to the group. Just as a crow flew into her face. Jay cried out startled as she stumbled back, falling over the other side. The sudden tightness of her belt taking her breath away, just before the hard impact of the wall. "Yep," she spoke a bit horsely. "You were right about the rope," she said threw a slight gasp.

"Arg!" He grunted as he pulled back on the rope. Moving to the side he tied it off on a railing. "Don't do that!" He yelled up at her. He then looked at the computer terminal while taking out his multi-purpose knife. After a few seconds he had jimmied open the control panel, found the power cord, pulled it and stripped it. He then looked at Koni, Elija, and Fira. "I need your help moving this vehicle next to the terminal." He said. Koni opened the door and put the car in nuetral as the rest got behind. With Koni steering and the rest pushing it took five minutes to make the distance.
"Alright!" He then cracked a flare and popped the trunk. Not wasting any time he dove right in and began messing around with the wiring. After getting completely covered in grease and oil, Giddeon had linked a jumper cable up with the terminal. He then went and checked the dashboard and frowned. "Well Elijia, I have good news and I have bad. The good news is once I turn this key the computer will turn on and you can work your majic. The bad news is the battery is horribly drained. I'd say you have two minutes to get this thing open."
