03/20/11 It was a nice day. I went to the Tinuana base. The civilian airport converted to mostly military. I will probably be getting stationed there. There is talk about decomissioning the base in five years. It serves no purpose and is a dr sin on financial resources. From what I heard, there was a war in 2008. We were gonna stage an assault from there to liberate LA. Looks like it never happened. The Marinesnfragmented from the federals and became their own Marine faction. Because of that, the war ended, or so I'm told.
03/28/11 I got bit by a poisonous snake while I was moving it from the hanger door. It hurt like heck for about an hour, and I though I had gotten infected by the Raccon City virus again. Started sweating and getting hungry, finger itched like a b*tch for the day. I thought I was a goner. I made myself a bunch of spaghetti, called Scar Creek, they said my symptoms are normal. That l should eat and sleep. They told me not go to a local doctor. They explained that because of the virus I heal faster and the itching is just cell growth. I wonder how fast I can get over the cold or flue. Maybe Umbrella was on to something.

04/22/11 Today I get to transport GPEO Marine units from San Diego to a Bivouac for a weekend training trip. Some other pilots also have this flight with us.
04/22/11 [11:10] It looks like we are going to be taking a Marine back with us. Waiting on his friends to load him up on our gurney. He broke his leg being stupid. Our chopper is one of the few fitted with a makeshift medical gurney, thanks to Sargent Lennox.
04/23/11 I forgot to mention my simulator training on the Osprey. This is my 6th month in weekend simulator training. This is one of the craft the Marines fly in all the time. They need more pilots for these for long range special operations missions.
04/25/11 We are about to pick up Marines from the Bivouac. They are packing up now, so by the time we get there they should be ready to get loaded.
04/25/11 [17:22] Back in the bunk now. Today I had the honors of talking with one of the Marine Sargent's after landing at their base. Gunnery Sargent Mason. Muscular black guy. Never would guess he is black over the radio because he speaks extremely charismatic, unlike Stark's ghetto, haha. Anyway. He told me how the old Marine general saved San Diego form being torn by war. When the general retired, he offered the Marines to go where their hearts told them to. the majority of them went to us. He said the Marines politically disbanded on 10/10/10.
05/01/11 Ashley should be out of school by now. I checked with Blake and he says she gets out for the summer on the 20th of this month. When I went we got out on the first week of May. But, schedules in Canada are probably different form the US. I got a surprise for her and Blake. Collins is in on it, and he better not screw it up.
05/13/11 It is amazing what kind of technology is here. I been working on a V-22. These things are fast, and can fly like a chopper, and tilt the large prop-rotors forward to fly like a fixed wing aircraft. Now I am finally ready to test fly it after months of simulator training.
05/19/11 Close call in the V-22. Dang seagulls. I don't know what kind of damage hitting one of them will do, but I don't want to find out. Already did that over Raccoon in 98. Which to me is only a few years ago. Dammit. Now I'm gong to have nightmares again. I hate black birds. I saw one today outside on my choppers blades, chanting like it owned the rotors of my chopper. Screw that bird.
05/21/11 [03:33] Dammit. We're already gonna be late. They were supposed to do the preflight at 03:00. We gotta do it on our own now if they are not here. The Major said he will find them and wake the ground crew responsible for this task. Little s***s.
[04:07] Finally, we found the crew who were suppose to preflight the Osprey. I must say, I was kidding about the little s***s part. Two of these guys are huge. I wonder if Blake could take them both on.
[04:49] I didn't realize how much s*** they have to go through on a preflight for one of these. They got a scissor lift for Christ sake. I guess they can't just climb on certain parts, obviously. I should know that.
[05:11] About time. Doing checklist and gonna be two hours late. We should have been already two hours in flight by now. This will be a six hour flight. It'll be 10 before we get there. We needed to be there at 8. It'll be an hour to pack it up once there, and then another hour of getting to where we need to be for a meeting. It will be 1 before we are done. So much for the surprise.

05/21/11 [08:22] Just a little over half way there, and my gosh the trip is at least twice as fast as the 60 would have been. We needed these in 98. Found one problem. I gotta take a leak, dammit.
