The BSAA soldier had woke up in a cold environment with a fleck of dust floating past her face. The chopper had gradually descended before landing with with a slight bump onto the land below them. This brought back memories of the past encounters with chopper landings, most of which landed with the dead swarming around them. The door was opened, and thankfully it was mostly quiet. One by one the crew had left the vehicle before spotting a fellow with a orange wetsuit and a white helmet. The former C.R.E.E.D officer had done has instructed, grasping one of her fellow team members as they walked onto the deck of a small ship. It was raining, which was not unexpected of the Philippines. They were soon escorted to a hangar with another aircraft inside before they were greeted by the captain. One could say that Senshi looked disinterested at the moment as she always seemed on her guard. It happened to be later that everyone would be later lead to the mess hall and sleeping area, but she wondered how bad things were getting the longer they waited. In Japan, the infamous T-Virus spread like a wildfire. She shook her head from those thoughts before she decided some food would be nice. Walking off to the mess, she would sit and eat what they had to offer at the time. She sat generally alone as the leading officer was most likely talking about plans for the future. Her firearms were loaded, blades sharpened, and generally she was ready for anything. Something didn't seem right though. Whatever it was, she would prepare for it when it came.

Lenny peeks in the cabin of cloth 4 high stacked bunk beds, and cynicism the metal doorway twice with a metal canteen cup, "Better get some sleep before the op. No tellin when we will get to sleep again." He smiles, winks, then unpeeks, and continues to another bunk room. It is dark in the bunk area. But not too dark. There are red lights on the ceiling, and orange floor lights that guide a primary path, and white lights at doorway dividers that are raised. There are allot of places to trip. Some of the crew and team have nearly tripped a few times.

The ship was odd, but it happened to be Lenny one of her team members told her to get some sleep seeing they’d never know when they would be able to sleep again. She nodded at the mentality and had simply walked carefully around the area before slipping into one of the bunk beds. She ate enough and she felt content. For now, she would rest and sleep, but with one hand always on her blade ready to use it in case a problem ever occurred and she needed her weapon immediately. She would close her eyes before falling into a light sleep. She was worried about the operation, although at the same time she was anxious to get in there and deal with it already. She had a good team she was sure of it, and hopefully they would be able to work on the situation like professionals and get it done swiftly and efficiently. She thought of her family before she slept and her home before falling unconscious.

One of the other operatives hops in one of the bunks before you fade to sleep.
The ship is shaken violently. You are tossed across the room and bump against a wall. Red lights begin to flash and alarms blare. "ACTIONS STATIONS, ACTIONS STATIONS, ALL HANDS MAN YOUR STATIONS, THIS IS NOT A DRILL, ACTION STATIONS, ACTIONS STATIONS, MAN YOUR BATTLE STATIONS, THIS IS NOT A DRILL !" The entire ship sways and jerks. Before you know it, all of your fellow operatives rush out of their bunks, already in full uniform, as are you, with combat gear and everything. Moments later, you are out on the deck, and a heavy machine gun is firing at something. Another ship can be seen. A trail of what looks like blue trasers can be seen shooting from the other ship, and a growling sound follows. A strange blue comet like lite with a dust trail approaches. The dust tail sparkles. The blue comet looking object slams into the other ship, cutting of the visual sound of the trasers. The growl stops at the same time an explosion with a concussion grade explosion. The other ship cracks in half, sinking within a few moments. Another blue comet can be seen lighting up an island in the distant, and it approaches your ship. "Oh s***, it's for us !" Someone shouts.

As she was flung across the room with the shaking of the ship, she yelled at the sudden jerk before a bit of pain impacted her. The loud sirens and red lights flashed as all personnel were to prepare for battle. Another jerk of the ship as she steadied herself. Soon, everyone started running and so she had also followed with her weapon ready and safety off.
It was then chaos occurred as there was a foreign ship in the distance. She looked at it prepared for a fight...but then a comet slammed into it with a large explosion causing it to slowly sink below the depths of the ocean. As the second had approached, she widened her eyes. "Take cover!" She had dived back into the safety of the interior of the ship as the whole deck would likely be taken out. She could come back out then and escape surely. What the hell was going on? Were these the bio terrorists? Also, what was up with that other ship that just sank? It didn't really matter seeing if she didn't do something, she would sink to the bottom of the god forsaken ocean also.

A crew member of the ship shove you back outside. Then a few more shove their way out and over the deck. The incoming comet looking object shines bright blue trailing whitish blue sparkles. "Inside, BAD !" A crew member shouted. "Abandon, OUT !" The tips of the bow and stern of the other ship are all that is left poking from the sea as it sinks. A loud growl erupts from above somewhere, followed by blue trasers. It is firing in an effort to shoot the incoming comet. The crew members shove you to the edge of the deck, and pulls you over board. Your fall does not feel like a fall. Before you know it, there is a flash and an explosion. The flash illuminated everything under the sea, and a very large snout was briefly visible. It was like a Godzilla snout opening, before the flash faded away. You feel the sensation of water rushing forward. At this point, you are terrified and know you are being sucked into its mouth. In the mouth, you feel strangely dry, warm and a sensation of comfort and armored stability. You begin to use its tongue as a blanket, and everything fades away.
You open your eyes. You are still on the bunk in the ship. You feel that sense of armored stability inside the ship after you realize you were only having a dream. A red light flashes once, but you notice it is just a fire alarm on the ceiling. A random crew member of the ship passes outside of the bunk room once in a while. You are too tired to move much.

Senshi woke up in cold sweat immediately with her M911 pistol drawn and aimed. She panted but then sighed as it was all a dream. She was panicking too much about the mission to the point where she was having nightmares about it. She sighed and leaned back on her mattress before slowly sliding her firearm back into its holster. She needed go get more sleep if at all possible, so she would pull the covers over her eyes to rest. However, her senses were still sharp as she was now just more paranoid than ever. She feared that as soon as she slept, death would claim her. However, inevitably against the battle of sleep, she lost before falling into a deep slumber. She brushed her red hair out of her face before closing her eyes. Instinctively however, her left hand was clenched around the blade of her tanto. The virus might be serious and she was eager and partially itching for a battle.

Sailor: "No weapons in the bunks. What do you think this is, a war zone !?" A sailor stares at you with that look you get when you did something out of the norm. Salor: "Weapons should be locked up in the armory. Knives are ok, but firearms are not." The salor wears a basic sailors uniform, with a navy ball cap that looks like he pic.

"Look buddy. This is a warzone. There is a virus spreading at who knows what pace. If you want me to put my firearms into the armory I'll sleep there." She slowly stood and then walked out to the armory before leaning against the wall to snooze. She was resting peacefully as she needed it before the hell would break loose. Her gun was tucked close into her jacket pocket. Her paranoia was serious as the fear of the infected filled her mind.

The sailor looks at you for a moment before speaking. You don't know where the ships actual weapons store is. The sailor is also in the way of the hatchway, so you can't walk out.
"No, this is not a war zone. This is a ship. The only personnel in the ship are friendlies. There is no threat near this ship. The only thing that can hurt this ship is a missile, bomb, mine, or another ship colliding with this one. What do you think you will do with that in any of those scenarios ?"
His tone changes and he walks to a cabinet and points. "This. Is. An. Armory. Weapons go HERE. If one of the crew becomes a serial killer at any point, THIS is where you will get your weapons from." Another sailor walks in. A big muscular guy, with a side arm. His hand is close to it like a cautious cop would on a traffic stop. He speaks. "Problem ?" The other guy giving a lecture continues. "No." He says to the other guy. Then he continues to talk to you. "You are not part of our crew. YOU. Your party. Put your weapons in here while you are here." An officer walks in behind the big guy. "What's going on ?" Both men stand at attention, "Officer on deck !" The lecturing sailor answers the officer. "Sir. One of the BSAA has not been briefed on weapons safety procedure for this ship. I am explaining." The officer looks at you and the area. "Cary on." The officer walks off. both men end posture of attention. "It is our duty to secure the ship. This ship is secure. Unless an enemy tries to take this ship over, you won't need that." He walks back to the cabinet and opens it. "We don't need one of our crew members getting killed from a f**king gun accidentally firing because someone has to sleep with their gun." The big guy takes a step closer to you. "Armory. Please."
Behind you, a man speaks to you in Japanese. "Just put it in the armory. It's their ship. They know what is best for their ship." You turn and see Lieutenant 1st Rank Hakoshi Usiji from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force in pajamas. "It's like that on my ship too." In English he says, "It's ok. They are competent. You don't have to protect them." He is an officer. He speaks with authority and a mixture of humor and wisdom.

“Shikata Ga Nai. (It can't be helped)” She said this to herself as she was scolded saying that the ship wasn't a warzone. With a dream like the one she had, perhaps she was getting a bit too terrified. She just didn't want to risk her life and was worried beyond measure. The weapons cabinet was pointed out to Senshi and soon a officer came with a sidearm pistol. It seemed she and her friends weren't trusted whatsoever. She remained silent for a moment staring at the man in front of her. She was being talked down to as if she were stupid...and she wasn't. Paranoid and worried constantly sure, but not stupid.
When it was mentioned that she might shoot someone and kill them, she was about to kick this Sailors ass for making her ****ed. Thankfully she kept her calm as her fellow BSAA member had talked to her. Shoving her two pistol sidearms inside of the cabinet as well as with her other firearms, she quickly turned and replied in Japanese. “I worry that without my guns, something bad will happen and we will die. I feel an omen…” She sat down on the bed as she ignored the sailors afterwards and sighed rather loudly. “I've seen many people die because they didn't have a gun. I don't want to be one of those people.” She now only had her bladed weapons available seeing those were the only things allowed. She signed before resting her eyes again.

After things calmed down, Usiji guides you to a break room. There are seats and coffee maker. He makes a bag of coffee. As it brews and the smell of coffee wakes the senses, he talks in Japanese.
Usiji: "I had to put my weapons away when I went to sleep too. It's safety hazard on board ships. When I was stationed on a ship, it was same procedure." He shows that he is still armed. "We can carry as long as we are not sleeping." He places both of his hands on your shoulders to ease your mind. "I think you have a form of post traumatic stress syndrome, or disorder." He removes his hands. "If you are not mentally fit for the mission, I will inform the commander." At that moment his tone changed to one of authority.
Usiji is a military officer. You know he is not there to comfort you in any way. He is there to ensure the team is ready for operation, despite being new to the BSAA. You can tell he is trying to find out if you have too much anxiety for the mission.
Usiji: "In friendly environment, if you are paranoid, you risk jumping the gun in battle."
He is the same rank as the squad commander in the BSAA, and team leader of the four person team you are in. He is basically your commander for this op. But this op is unlike other ops. In this, rank is only significant in the field. At the moment, he holds no rank position over anyone, nor does the other officer. But they do possess the right to restrict team members from taking part in the operation if it might interfere with the operation results.
Usiji: "We need to count on you to know when to be paranoid and when not to be."
The coffee smells good. You barely notice, but you can tell he gets a whiff of the coffee. He walks to the coffee maker. He speaks in English now.
Usiji: "We have a half hour before the team wakes up to gear up. We have a head start." He pours some coffee into a Styrofoam cup. "Coffee ?" He smiles when he holds it up.
