Anomalous Trip (Part II)

You hit and he goes down with a slice across the neck. The other swings and then kicks a chair like object at you and it slides and hits your knees. Save vs attack of kicked seat.

You are hit, but the kneepad deflects it and he charges as if you fall, swings and hits your lower neck in an attempt to lap off your head, but your neck guard saves you and he stumbles back with a surprised look on his face. You stumble from the hit but easily get your balance and find a burst of energy. Roll to hit. Describe your action, how and where you aim to hit.

Since I am dual wielding I’ll roll for two. First with the whip to the neck area, then a quick thrust to the heart. 13, 20.

You shock him, and as the whip is still touching him, he stands still because he can’t really move all that much. You thrust exactly where you wanted and he still is unable to move till his life fades and he falls to the ground. After they are eliminated, you hear the cries and shrieks of the last two frail beings as the wolves begin to punish and abuse their power over them. You hear movement down the hall. Most likely more enemies are coming. There is a gate there at the other end that has an open pad lock.

Perception.

Perception 12.

You see a key ring on one of the bruits you neutralized. It has a few keys on it. One might be the key to the padlock.

The wolves morph into humans after having their way with the frail hand waver beings that were torturing the prisoners. The young wolf girl rushes to you and says something in their language, frantically and almost in tears. You notice the other examining the shackles on the woman from your dreams. Lakeland moves slightly, but then goes limp again.

Older Wolf Girl: “Hewp. Nal’yus. Callus, hewp ?” There is a SLAM that echos beyond the gate, and men can be heard rushing to the area in the distance.

I take the keys off the barbarian, and would like to roll for sleight of hand (dex) to unshackle the woman from my dreams first then make my way to Lakeland.

[Dragnoxz]

Roll Dex.

Dex 12.

[Dragnoxz]

You unlock the crackle. You have a window of opportunity to close and lock the gate before a flood of nearly unlimited enemies surge in the room. You can hear that there are probably way too many to defeat on your own. The woman slumps over and the two wolf girls grab her and drag her to the dark tunnel. One man with labored breathing takes longer to breathe each breath. Lakeland starts to have trouble breathing.

I rush to go lock the door for a reprieve. Hopefully this woman can help us out.

[Dragnoxz]

You lock the gate. Something slams into the gate at full speed. The wolves jump and look over there as if they see nothing. You see the heat of the being on FLIR, but you can’t see it at all with your actual eyes. It has its hand out through the gate inches from you, trying to touch you. It almost looks like an apparition as it’s not touching the ground. Its face looks terrifyingly ghoul like, and empty. It appears not to be happy with you or that it’s not able to get through the gate. It’s not able to open the gate either. It’s mouth creepily smiles and it backs up as if it has you locked inside. You feel a darkness emitting from it as it backs up and just watches you through the gate.

Phyka: “Mh.” She starts to shake and everyone can then see their breath.

[slicsinatra]

Is it still touching the gate? And if not, how close is it to the gate?

[Dragnoxz]

It has backed off and is standing behind the gate and never touched the gate. You can tell it’s half phased and probably can go through walls, but can’t enter or pass the gate you just locked for some reason.
