It's okay Rev, I don't mind platitudes. If I took this stuff onto a real art forum I'd probably have an anxiety attack as critics got all anal about stuff. I'd break down... dowwwwn down down. Srsly though, where's N/a at. Has she got new anti-virus software yet? >> Fyi

Threw a new banner together because I'm still not happy with the second one. Aya's design has come a long way since the beginning of the year.

After 2 months I've discovered that computer comic design isn't going to work for me.

Sometimes you just can't pull the traditional out of the animator.

Took Edgey's sketch of Sam and colored it cause I was bored today. Gah! Doin that first one got me on a roll. So I went and did this one too. Thanks for the base images edgey! I love the sovereign design for Sam. I kinda like doing this!

Putting this up on the blog, devart, everywhere else.

I don't even know how, hey.
Like how the hell did you separate the sketch from the background to paint underneath? I've seriously got some other sketch images for a long time that I've wanted to colour but never got around to it.

Tried out a different method of shading. Just did this one. Tried to pay a little more attention to detail. Blonde is a hard color to emulate... Ok. Starting to feel like Im spamming this thread. LOL At least Im not multi-posting. Anywho. The two pictures above took about an hour and a half each. This next one took about that long except there are 3 faces in it instead of 1. Trying to speed up now. Decided to use Aya's actual color scheme and not my own made up one. Took about an hour for this one. My shading still isnt like Edgey's though... :/

Figured I'd update this old thread with some fresh stuff. This one's actually from April last year, but looking over my old stuff - even after doubting myself - I can't deny I've improved. It's a nice feeling. "Aya over Egypt"

Now that you mention it, that armpit turned out pretty good.
