Part Deux
After the Raccoon City Incident in 2002, the T-Virus escaped containment despite the nuclear destruction of the city. The Umbrella Corporation desperately tries to stop it from turning the entire world's population into zombies, but after a series of viral outbreaks over the past 5 years, the world is on the verge of extinction.
2007... The world we came to know and love is reduced to ash and sand almost overnight. Major cities became barren wastelands.. Friends and family became the walking dead. 99% of the Earth's Population were turned into flesh-eating zombies. The remaining survivors dot the map, taking to the roads in convoys.
A single group of survivors in a convoy, lead by Jack Ketchum, drove on the sand-beaten roads of the United States. Driving from small town to small town, their only hope for survival was finding food, water, and gasoline to fuel their endeavor. The crew itself is almost hopeless, attempting to find salvation in a non-infected, isolated area. The first stop they went to, an abandoned gas station, Jack had gotten infected due to a scratch from a female zombie while in the male restroom. They soon took off.
After being attacked by a large amount of arachnids, the convoy drove off from it's third stop, which was also a gas station/hotel. They were so quick to leave that they managed to damage the gasoline valve on the tanker, spilling fuel onto the ground as they drove along, leading a scent for animals to follow them- specifically, crows. Down the road, Jack, since he was infected, turned on the Hummer's driver, Ryan Miller, and attacked, infecting him from a scratch. Alexander Daniels pulled Ryan away and Ted Arsen blew up the Hummer, killing Jack. Crows viciously attacked, turning the tour bus's occupants into nothing but crimson mush, blowing up the Semi, and the resulting blast taking out any survivors. Ryan and Alex escaped on the scout, Anika Mullova's bike while the other scout, Elijha Perry, was left behind to die. Anika was infected, and committed suicide.
Damian Lockhart was attacked by one of the zombies that boarded the bus and was ripped to pieces, Francisco Rodriguez was left behind and is hanging in a cocoon at the gas station that was overrun by spiders. Benjamin Thompson was killed when the crows broke the windows of the Semi-Trailer's cabin. Nathan Olemyer was killed by a mob of spiders while attempting to escape the conversion van when attacked- the whereabouts of his body parts are unknown- his left leg was found grinded to the bone on the back of the Semi's bumper.
Two Weeks later...
Roger Ell, the leader of the convoy he named "Deux", allowed Alex into their convoy, and found Ryan soon after- they could always use extra guns. The convoy consists of an SUV, a Semi-Trailer Truck, a VW Bus, and a School Bus; good lineup, considering most of them are armored with basic metallic plating and the School Bus is outfitted with a military-grade M-2 .50 cal Machine Gun. The convoy itself is on it's way up north, to Canada. They hope to find a decent place to stay for a while, but may end up having to get back on the beaten road to find salvation in an unknown place. Recently, they got a tip that there was a survivor's colony in Alaska. Though, it's not certain, that's one of their only ways to get out of this nightmare.

The team is at an abandoned, large Grocery Store located on the outskirts of Minnesota.
Rodger sighed a bit, walking down a long stretch of canned goods. He didn't see much that wasn't already opened up or damaged. On either side of him were shelves, stacked no more than two feet above his head. On the top were broken bottles and overturned cardboard boxes. On the floor, random paper products and smashed glass as well as rotting edibles littered the area, which made him tend to step over and around those items. Something caught his eye. He walked a few feet forward and stopped, turning to his right and looking into a shelf that was at eye-level. He noticed a pallet of Spam just sitting there, untouched. He smiled and grabbed it.
He pulled it off of the shelf and looked around, finding a cart that was empty, but shoved between two displays. He kicked one of the displays over and pulled the cart out, slipping the cardboard pallet of Spam into the cart. He pushed the cart along the isle, his eyes wandering all over the place.
"Sound off guys, I want to make sure we're all still here."
