Elijah nodded silently and sauntered off toward the cockpit. He didn't need to be told twice to go around the Alliance checkpoints. In fact, he was positive that at least one of the crew members had some price on their head. That wasn't his business, though. Getting the ship to the destination was his business. Without another word Elijah sat down in one of the pilot's seats and went to work, plotting a course for the ship. It didn't take too long; the man had been on a firefly before and knew how to operate them. It was a little work to get acquainted with each new ship (no two are completely the same), but he made quick work. After plotting a course and doing a diagnostics check, which came up clear, he sat back and waited.

Atton looked around a bit and nodded, pushing the chair away and standing. He glanced at his team mates still left in the area and proceeded to head towards one of the staircases, watching upwards and staring at the hatch. He walked a few steps upward and grasped the rather large piece of metal that served as a door handle. He gave it a hard turn clockwise and pushed upwards, a large amount of stale oxygen steaming out of the sides, blowing in his face. He coughed a bit and made a puking sound. He shook it off and covered his nose with the collar of his shirt, making his way into the small room. There was a small metal bucket chair with an attached metal head piece. He nodded to himself and sat down, swiveling the head piece out of the way and beginning to toy around with the switches.
"Piece of cake.."

Andreya nodded slightly as she turned on her heals and headed back to the bridge. She took it slowly as she thought about what she was doing. As she reached the bridge she paused as she sighed heavily. She was really starting to worry about what might happen if the Alliance caught her on this ship with the others. Though they all were against the Alliance it still didn't make her feel any better. She closed her eyes for a second and took in a deep breath before slowly letting it out. When she opened them again she walked to the pilots seat.
She took a moment to familiarize herself with the seat, and the controls. Smiling a bit she adjusted herself. Once fully settled and comfortable. "Hey, I'm getting ready to take off," she shouted. She waited for the okay, and nodded slightly as she turned back to the window. Flipping the starting buttons. She ran threw the check list, and coming to the end she started the engine. With the stead hum of the engine be hinder her she took hold of the control. Andreya smiled as she pulled back, and the ship started moving.
Soon the ship was soring threw the sky. She smiled as they broke the cloud line, and into the upper atmosphere. Before long they were in space. The eternal darkness light up by thousands of tiny stars. She looked to Elijha and nodded once he gave her the coordinates. She set the auto pilot for Haven, and let the ship do the rest until they were needed. "Alright with us is space," she said as she looked back at Elijha. "Auto pilot's been activated so we can explore the ship," she told him lightly.

Tyler walked into the medical bay and began to sort what litle they actually had to work with out. It wasnt much, but what they did have would be enough for now. He would spend out of his own pocket to get better equipment if he had to, but he would outfit them with whatever he needed to so that this place was up to date. "Oh well, it will have to do. Good thing i have some things with me from my old hospital." he said as he pulled his medical pack from his Duffel bag and setting his weapons aside. He has been carrying a shotgun and his .357 since he was released from the army.
After making sure things were in order he began to straighten the place up, cleaning off the counters and such, making the place look clean as he could. After he was done he walked out to the common area and then set his weapons on the table, and took them apart, making sure they were clean and unloaded as he reassembled them, and then stuffed them back into his bag. for now all he could do was relax some until he was needed.

Rick looked at Grant with disbelief. Security? For a farmer? This was sink ka lan.
"This is a waste of time," Rick muttered under his breath, taking another drink out of his bottle. Luckily, he was far enough away from Grant where he probably wouldn't have heard him.
As the group continued on, Rick grabbed his bottle and slowly made his way toward them.
"These are the crew quarters. My room is number 3. Andreya, you have room one, Atton, you have two." Grant said as they passed the rooms and so on throughout the tour. The only part Rick found interesting was when they passed the engine room. It wasn't the best, but, after they started rackin' in cash, Rick saw some customization in the future.
Once they passed Rick's room, he dipped in quickly to take a look. All in all, it was pretty bland, not much too it. Didn't bother him, though, he'd probably spend most his time in the maintainance or engine room.
"As for the rest of you, feel free to wander about and get to know one another." Grant told the group after he had finished the tour.
"Well, if you guys want to...get to know me," Rick stated with an almost disgusted look on his face, "I'll be in the engine room."
Rick began leaving the room until he came close to Grant.
"As for the $200," Rick sighed, "through it into the community bank. Consider it a thanks for takin' me aboard."
With everything said and done, Rick ducked into the engine room and began bustling around with the different components. Most of them were rusty (and they didn't have many tools), but Rick knew that it once was (and would be again) a great device.

Grant walked about the ship looking things over. Everything seemed to be working out rather well. Better than he had expected actually. They had a full house, a straight job lined up and he was up and flying again. As the ship went up and broke through the atmosphere he held onto the stair railing as the cabin shook. When everything went smooth after reaching space he walked up into the flight deck.
"Nice job." He said looking out at the stars. He had been in prison for so long he had forgotten what it looked like. He then went and checked their heading. He nodded seeing that the course was well placed. He was rather impressed. He then walked up near the cockpit reaching up and grabbing hold of the mic. He then turned on the intercom so his voice could be heard throughout the ship.
"Alright everyone we have broken atmo and are headed for Haven. Our trip will take about two days on our current heading. Despite local times we keep standard old Earth time making the current time 4:23 PM. We will be having a sit down meal at 6:00. Until then, check your stations and feel free to wander about." He then cut the intercom and put the mic away. He then left the bridge and went down the stairs to the commons area finding Tyler.
"Hey." He said sitting down and taking a sip of beer. He madde a face forgetting it was warm. "Sorry about being on short supplies but I litterally just got this out of the impound. When we get our pay I'll hand you some coin to get some proper supplies. I don't know what we need so I'll leave it up to you." Grant the reached over and grabbed the remote turning on the cortex station and flipped through the channels.
"Haven is rather underdeveloped so they won't have what we need. After the job we'll head to Arberdeen to stock up on supplies." Finally settling on a channel Grant sat back and relaxed. ready to answer any questions or adress issues he hadn't covered.

Tyler looked over at Grant and shook his head with a smile. "no, please dont worry about it. With the kit that i always carry with me and the tools you have here, few though they may be i have enough to at least effectively treat someone. the only things that we are really missing are medications, and some of the bigger machinery. Your medbay has the space, but not the gear. A problem easily solved." Tyler explained as he leaned back, relaxing. "I had planned on taking about half of each of my payoffs and stocking the medical room as i need to. As a doctor my job are my co-workers first, and my personal things separate. I can live off of relatively little." he said with a slight laugh as he cracked his neck.
"as far as all of that everything still seems to be in well enough order. The ship is running well at least, and we have food and water. As long as i have my basic needs i dont need much else. I was raised into a wealthy family, but i survived on next to nothing as a battlefield doctor. I learned a great many things in my time as a combat medic." he said as if remembering as he was speaking, but he shook the thoughts away instantly.

“Tough crowd…Yo! Rick!” Droz shouted at the engine man as he walked towards the engine bay. Droz jumped off the crate and walked after Rick. ”I’m gonna be bouncing in and out of the engine bay using a couple of your tools to get the mule running. I’ll definitely make sure that they make there way home to you. s*** man, I can’t beat bunking in the shuttle. If you are not the mechanic you say you are, I won’t have to go that far to save my own ass.” Droz chuckled as shuffled past the rest of the crew wandering about. “Lotta shady compadres on this ship. Grants got his hands full…but you play the cards your dealt…or you cheat like hades to make the cards work.” Droz shouted to Rick over the pulse engines. ”Oh yeah thanks for fixing the cold box as well.” Droz banged a couple of times on the wall and gave Rick the thumbs up as he turned the corner to walk towards the cargo bay and mule. The hallways where dusty and the echo of his boots was not as audible then most other starships. There where storage crates everywhere. Droz popped a couple of them open and there where full of random equipment and some had nothing. Droz got to the top of the stairs and looked down at the mule. He fumbled with the flood lights and illuminated the cargo area. ”Eh, this will do just fine.” Droz walked to the fast ladder and hooked his legs and slid down clanking his boots onto the metal deck. [glow=red,2,300]THE MULE[/glow] He climbed aboard the mule and reached under the dash it was a Class x-7 Spec mule. Standard run of the mill utility cart but did have a strong repulsion engine. This vehicle will hold and pull a lot of weight. But, the electrical system was very sensitive to environmental changes. The man reached down and tossed a duffle bag full of manuals out on to the deck. ”Well I don’t need these.” It seated six but some people could definitely ride on the floor. No armor, no weapons. Looks like I am the most dangerous thing on this craft.” Droz said to himself as he leaned on the handrail that snapped under his weight. Droz fell off the craft landing hard on the deck with a THUD. “OOWW s***!” Droz rubbed his head as he sat up. ”this is gonna be a great trip.”

Chad walked into the kitchen and looked around abit. There were some spices and sauces laying around. He looked around some more and found a few pots and pans. He looked in the refridgerator and found an assortment of vegetables. But what caught his eye was two chickens. Perfect! Chad took out a two carrots, two onions and two peppers (one green and one yellow). He chopped all the vegetables up into slices with a sharp knife. It cut right through them in one swipe. He then took out some small mushrooms and added them with the chopped vegetables. He turned on the oven so it could heat up. He took out a roasting pot, and placed the two chickens in and surrounded the chicken with the vegetables. He poured some water into the pot. He then took out on lemon and cut it in half. He then squeezed all the juice from the lemon over the chickens. He then placed some spices on the chicken. He then placed the pot in the oven and let the heat do the rest.
He left the kitchen and went to the common area, where he found Tyler, the doc, and there leader, Grant. He stood at the door. "I never properly introduced myself", Chad said to Grant, "The names Chad". "Dinner will be ready by six, maybe a minute or two longer", he added as he sat down. He looked at Tyler, "A doctor? What made you go into that field?", he asked.

Rick stared at Droz. He was a little too talkative for Rick's likes, but he was a gear-head none-the-less, so he was the closest thing to a friend Rick had on this ship. Besides, the two would probably have to deal with each other a lot, so might as well make the best of it.
"Yeah, take what you need," Rick sighed, tightening a couple nuts here and there. "There ain't much though. I'll try to pick up some more tools at Haven. Doubt they'll have anything there, though."
Rick, his arms already coated in oil, stood up and looked at Droz as Droz thanked him for fixing the fridge.
"No problem," Rick muttered, wiping his hands off with a rag. "If you need anything, or even a second opinion, just let me know. Ain't got anything better to do."
With that all said and done, Rick walked back into the dining room where he began washing his hands.
"Well, it's a pretty nice ship all in all," Rick sighed, washing the oil of his hands. "I'll have to let Grant know that it's rusting through, though. Can't fix what's not there."
After cleaning the oil off, Rick grabbed a beer (which was a little colder) and sat down in one of the booths. He'd just get drunk, go to sleep, and wake up at dinner. Not like there was much else to do.

When six o'clock came around Grant stood up and shut off the TV. He looked over at tyler before dropping the remote on the table. "Time to eat." He said. He then climbed his way up the staircase into the dining room. He smelled the air and smiled. Actual food. for once in a long time he wasn't eating protien paste. "Good work Chad...I think I'm going to enjoy having you around. I promise at our next stop to stock up on more food." Grant then went over into the kitchen grabbing a pot and a metal spoon. He then went back into the Dining room and started banging them together.
"CHOW TIME!!!" He called out loudly. "GET IT WHILE IT'S HOT!!!"

A vicious blast of heat burst forth from the twin laser cannons, firing off into space.
"Bok yea!" Atton cursed loudly, quickly flipping a switch on the side of the front panel to power down the weapons systems.
He sighed a bit. His language echoed throughout the ship, which wasn't necessarily a good thing. He looked around, withdrawing his pistol and checking it over. These things were so much simpler- press a lever and a metal object- or three, shot out and hurt someone. That way, you didn't have to press three hundred and forty seven varying buttons just to get a white-hot ray of energy to shoot from a 5 foot barrel. He shrugged. At once he heard the banging of the pots and pans; he hadn't eaten in a few days, and it was about time. He quickly jumped to his feet, but, his stupidity failed him again, and he bounced the top of his head off of the small roof.
"Ta ma Dik!" He fell to his knees in front of the hatch, opening it with his left hand and rubbing his head with his left.
He made his way down the hatch and into the dining area, rubbing his head and squinting his left eye.
