Jack glared at the creatures that were making there way around the corner. She slid her left foot back slightly as the dogs made there presence known. Moving her hand up into a defensive position she waited until the dogs charged. At the last second she brought her leg up into a round house kick, knocking one of the dogs into the wall. As her foot hit the ground she brought her right hand up and into the chest of the second dog. Turning back to Mikey, "Run," She said as she turned back to bring her hand back around into a chop into the dog's neck. "Go while I have them distracted."

"No way." Mikey said, not wanting to leave. It was a pack of dogs. He was pretty sure he could handle a stupid dog, and from the looks of things, Jack deffinitly could. But, what if she couldnt? What if one of them got her from behind? He watched the dogs moving, and looked around for something that could be used as a weapon.
He didnt even hear the dog coming from behind him. It jumped and latched onto his arm before he even knew it was there. He let out a sound, more of surprise than pain, and whipped his arm to try and get it off. The dog's hard grip kept it there, but from what he could feel, it didnt have any teeth. How strange.
He let out another sound, this time of pain, as he felt a very sharp rod peirce his arm. It went in one side and collided with the bone, and started to move. He screamed in a combination of pain and anger as he used the only thing handy to bash the dog in the head. His fist.
The dog seemed soft in its head, something Mikey didnt stop to reflect on. He pounded his fist off its head, and felt something squish. The dog stopped moving, and went limp, its grip still hard on his arm.
The dogs who had come at Jack were mostly dead now. Having very soft bones, theit bodies couldnt withstand the blows she put out. Now, only one was alive, and it was limping toward her in a hopeless effort to score a meal.
----------------------------
The monster in the kitchen didnt stop moving. It kept along on its agonizingly slow pace. Soon, it was in arms reach. It hefted its huge arm and swung at Joe.

Jack brought her foot around into the last dog's neck, feeling the snap before it went flying across the room. She cursed under her breath as she turned around an ran toward Mikey. "I told you to run," she growled slightly as she grabbed the snout of the dog, and it's bottom jaw. Prying it's jaw apart, and after a snap she was able to open it. Pulling it off his arm and a long pincer like thing came out of his arm as well. "Damn, we need to wrap this," she said as she dropped the dog to the ground. Looking up at Mikey for a moment, before holding his arm tightly. She pulled him into a clothing store.
Shaking her head as she kept her temper, remembering well enough what she had told her students. She let him sit down on one of the manikin stands while she went to find something to wrap it. Finally coming back with several bandannas. Looking at Mikey she sighed a bit as she knelt down in front of him. "Hard of hearing?" she asked lightly as she looked at him with a grin. She padded the wound in order to stop it's bleeding, and use another to wrap and tie it off. "Alright that should hold. Let me know if you start feeling light headed or sick," she said lightly.

John stared at Evangeline and sighed. Obviously she was lying, otherwise Kate would still be here.
"Whatever," he muttered, standing up.
"Wait! You can't go back there!" she shouted. John ignored her and walked into the back.
As soon as he got into the kitchen, he could hear a sloshing sound.
"What the f**k?" he muttered as a strange mass began coming at him from out of the shadows.
Evangeline came out of from the front, still yelling; then gasped when she saw the creature. Next came the crying man who asked what was wrong, until, seeing the creature, he pulled out his gun.
"Stop! Or I'll shoot!" the man shouted (though his voice was weak with fear).
"You really think that thing is going to stop because you told it too?" John laughed. He had to admit, the thing was frightening, but, hearing Joe say the one thing you're not supposed to say, eased the tension.
As the creature came closer, John reached into his belt and pulled his revolver back out.
"Just fire, don't think," John said to Joe, aiming his gun at the creature. His arm shook noticeably, so he reached out and steadied it with his other hand before pulling the trigger.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Four bullets fired out of the chamber, striking the creature in all different places, before the gun clicked dry. John stared at the creature to see if it fell down.

"Huh?" Mikey asked when Jack addressed him. "What was that? I couldnt hear you. Must be heard of hearing." He said, a grim look on his face. He was the one who got hurt, and she was getting mad. He was almost sorry he had stuck around to help her, even if it didnt quite go according to plan, when she flashed a grin at him.
Maybe she isnt so bad... He thought, and looked at his arm.
"Nice wrap job." He said, turning his arm to get a look at it all around. "You a nurse or somethin'?" He asked, unzipping his jumpsuit. It felt hot all of a sudden for a reason unknown to him. His dark grey shirt flashed through, and he slipped his arms out of the suit. It felt better.

Jack sighed lightly and without thinking put the back of her hand against his forehead. "Your burning up," she said as she walked off into the store again. Trying not to venture to far encase something happened again. She gathered several bandanna's, and even found a drink machine. Pulling out three bottle's of water she walked back to Mikey and handed him one. "Drink up, we don't know if any poison came with that wound. So the best thing to do is flush it out of your system, as best as we can do." Taking one of the bottles, she opened it up and soaked the bandanna. She started patting his face lightly, not even once thinking about what she was doing.
"Drink both those bottles of water. An after that if you still don't feel the need to go to the bathroom. Then I'll get you two more. Your going to drink the water until you do have to go," she said lightly. She stood up as her eyes drifted out to the four dogs that laid in on the floor. "What the hell is going on?" she asked, but it was more toward herself than anything else. Sighing a bit as she walked over to the gate. She slid it down enough to protect them, but not lock it so they could get out. Shaking her head lightly as she turned around, the air around her growing cold as ice.
Chills running down her back as she shivered slightly. Her eyes growing wide as she heard a scream. She looked around but it was only Mikey and herself. Putting her hand up to her head, she heard the scream once more. Gripping the side of her head tightly as the screams continued to get louder. Gritting her teeth, and holding her eyes shut tightly as she fell to her knees. She gasped heavily as she fell face first onto the ground as she passed out. An with the darkness once more seemed to calmed the screams she had always heard from time to time. Needless to say it was one of the reasons she had stopped at this mall. The feeling, and the screams seemed to have grown louder when she grew near to this place.

"What the hell is that thing!?" Evangeline screamed, falling against the floor and dragging herself up quickly. Joe and John had both, somewhat magically whipped up guns -- despite them not being allowed in the store -- during her absence and if they had been in other circumstances (such as let's say, not in danger of losing their lives) she would have told them off. A sudden racket of bullets sprung from the guns and Evangeline crouched in a corner of Happy Burger watching the going-ons through scared, desperate eyes. What was going on? A monster? A monster?
The huge creature roared, lunging towards the bullets clumsily as their cruised through the air. As the bullets sunk in, it flung back, the steady roar still rocketing throught the room. Evangeline cringed slightly, getting up and wrapping her arms around her chest. "Is it down yet?" she asked, somewhat timidly. John was looking towards the monster as it steadied itself against the floor, just between the entrance of Happy Burger and the back room. For a second an awkward silence pondered through the room, "well -- is it?" Evangeline snapped brashly, breaking it. "Is it or -- ARGH!" she screamed as the creature suddenly lunged towards her in one clumsy, slow movement.
Running a few metres to the other side of the room, Evangeline managed to evade the creature's grasp. One look at John and she could tell his gun had already clicked dry -- the idiot wasn't good for anything. Joe looked extremely scared, she didn't know if he had any bullets. As the creature hitched towards her, it's slow, strong strides causing the floor to vibrate loudly, Evangeline flung herself to a table and picked up a chair. In one awkward, prolonged movement she threw the chair at the creature -- which, from it's dopiness, was OBVIOUSLY a him -- the creature defended the oncoming chair with a strong blow, causing the chair to crush into splinters.
However it did make an impact, the movement and pace of the creature was much slower and much weaker than what it had been before. "Someone, HELP ME!" Evangeline screamed, lunging over the counter and huddling behind it, shaking with fear, as the creature began to come towards her. Unlocking the cupboard at the back of the counter she began to rummage around for supplies; paper, paper and more paper. No gun. Her mind began to wonder for more and more solutions as the creature strode towards her.
In the end, she resorted to screaming, "HELP!" in her loudest voice.

The screams for help from Evangeline spurred Joe on. He pulled the trigger on his gun frequently. Click. The chamber was jammed. Joe swore under his breath in annoyance. Holstering the gun, he grabbed a table, lifting it up with slight effort. He advanced towards the creature as it moved towards evangeline and lifted the table high above his head. With one heavy movement he slammed it down, hitting the creature square on the forehead.
The creature was clearly almost dead. Its movements were incredibly sluggish, it tried to swipe at Joe, but ended up merely brushing his side. Joe grabbed his gun again, detached the chamber, fixed the problem and re-attached it. With a cold look in his eyes he rammed the barrel right into the creatures head before firing a single fatal bullet into it.
As the creature uttered it's final breaths, if they could be called breaths, Joe turned to Evangeline. "Are you ok?"

"Ya, ya, nurse Ratchet..." Mikey said, taking a swig from the bottle. He wondered if she had second thoughts about what she had just did. He hadnt been touched this much since he was a small child, going into the doctors office for jandice. He could still remember the breight light he had to sleep under for weeks.
When he saw her fall down, he stood up to walk over to her. The loose jumpsuit started to annoy him, so he stopped a moment to let it drom and step out of it. He continued walking, and started to sway. He almost tripped over nothing a few times, but finally made it to her.
Dropping to one knee, he turned her onto her back and started shaking her by the shoulders. Suddenly, a dizzy spell hit him. He swayed on his knees a bit, and felt himself pass out. He fell backwards and felt like he kept falling.
Both Jack and Mikey fell into a world that looked like a nightmare. It was a field, but all around were tombstones. And in front of the tombstones were bodies. Splayed out with metal rods and sticking out from their graves, they moved and called for help in extreme agony.
--------------------------
The monster finally fell, and everything was very quiet in Happy Burger. A clicking sound came from the doors, and they swung open by themselves, as if being pushed open by an invisible force.

When Jack opened her eyes she could see the black sky, and still the screams were louder than normal. It took a moment and it had finally dawned on her. She sat up, and looked around the graveyard. Sighing heavily as she closed her eyes and leaned forward. This dream wasn't like the others. No it felt more real than anything else, and as she looked around her eyes fell on Mikey. "What tha' hell?" she growled as she stood up. No this wasn't a dream . . . was it? It couldn't be a dream, one to where he was in it. None of her dreams had anyone else in them. No this was different, and this had something to do with the mall. She just knew it.
"Mikey get up," she barked as she walked over to him, and knelt down. Shaking him rather hard. "Come on boy time to get up," she said as she stood up. Looking around the graveyard she sighed heavily. Some thing was going on, and they needed to find a way to get out of it. She looked down at Mikey hoping that he was okay, for as long as it was taking him to wake up. Her eyes looking upon the lost souls, the ones she had plaguing her mind for quite some time. Yet unlike her dreams some how she believed this was real.

John grabbed a kitchen knife as the thing began advancing toward Evangeline (by the time he reloaded his gun, she would be done) when he saw Joe attack it.
After a quick battle, the creature fell, leaving Evangeline, Joe, and John alone in the kitchen. An audible clicking could be heard from in front of the store.
"Someone must've heard the shots and opened the door!" John exclaimed somewhat happily. "Now I can get out of this f**king place!"
He quickly brushed past Evangeline and Joe. Under normal circumstances, he would've made sure they were alright, but he just wanted to get out of here. Besides, Evangeline hadn't exactly been kind to him.
As he got to the front of the restaurant, he noticed no one was at the door.
"What the f**k?" he hissed. "These things on a f**king timer or something?"
He sighed and walked out of the Happy Burger. After inspecting the top floor for a little bit, he realized there weren't any stairs or elevators around.
"You gotta be kidding me," John laughed angrily. He looked around the mall, looking for a way to get down when he thought he noticed some people on the ground floor a ways away from him.
"Hey! You know where the stairs are!" John shouted down, hoping they would hear him. The thought that other monsters were around hadn't even crossed his mind.

John shouted, but got no response. The two people, Jack and Mikey, were passed out, lying on the ground. Dead to the world.
In the dream world, or so they both hoped, Mikey stirred. He sat up and clutched his left shoulder.
"Oh god...feels like I just fell off a fu*king high rise..." He muttered, not noticing his suroundings. He stood up and limped over to Jack. His right knee was also acheing. It was then that he noticed the area.
"What the f..." He muttered, the rest of the sentance not escaping his lips. He was speechless. The ground looked like red grass, and blood ran through like a lawn overwatered. It was then that Jack and Mikey realized that they were covered in it.
"Oh man..." Mikey said, on the verge of panic, wiping at his arms with his hands and having no luck trying to wipe the blood away. "What the fu*k is this place?!" He yelled. This was too much for him to handle. Normally, he was very good under pressure and situations that would make people panic, but this was way out of his league.

Jack looked out over the grave yard. Granted the blood didn't bother her like it had Mikey. Mostly because she was still wearing her motorcycle jacket and glove. Though the thought of it was a tad sickening, her hand drifted to her neck realizing that her charm was gone. She grinned slightly as she looked up at the graves. "So it is a dream," she said lightly. Turning to Mikey she sighed a bit. "Calm down, it's not going to help you or me if you panic here," she said lightly as she turned back out over the graveyard.
"We need to find a way out of here, and hopefully by doing that get us back to the semi weird world," she said as she walked up to a grave and knelt in front of it. She ran her hand across the blood covered grave. As she ran her hand across the name it almost seemed to fade out of sight. Shaking her head as she looked up at Mikey. "Alright we need to get moving when you calm down enough to function properly."

"F@@k," John muttered, as the two people simply remained where they were. He looked over the railing to see how high it was up.
"High enough," John sighed.
He turned around and walked back into the restaurant, scratching his chin.
"Well, it seems the stairs have disappeared." John sighed to the others, sitting down on a stool. "Unless we have a really long rope or ladder...it seems we're stuck here."

Mikey took several deep breaths and had his eyes closed. He opened them after a few seconds, and finally spoke.
"Ok. I think I'm ok..." He said, looking around and taking in their sorroundings. He wanted to puke. All the blood, the way their feet sank into the ground soaked with it. The bodies lashed or impaled with branches all around, in front of their own tomb stones. Or so Mikey figured.
"Ok... So... Where do we go?" He asked, looking over at Jack. She seemed to be very level headed, considering the situation. So, he reasoned, that must mean she knew something he didnt.
--------------------------------------------------
As Mark wandered the mall, he was followed. Several of the dog like creatures that had attacked Mikey and Jack stalked him. Two of them. They stayed quiet, and lurked in the shadows or around corners, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. That moment came when he turned his back directly to them. They emerged, and sprinted toward him.
