Darren jumped when the M134 Miniguns opened fire, as he moved away from the scope of the rifle, he spotted a road flare on the roof a Sierra Hotel. He quickly grabbed the monocular that he had stored in his waist pack. Darren pulled the monocular to his left eye and looked at the roof Sierra Hotel, there was a man waving the road flare. "Ghost Lead, this is Ghost Sniper, I have a man on top of Sierra Hotel. Please advise?" Darren said into his throat mike. McPherson was in the Seahawk when he got the message from Darren. He was coordinating attacks so he did not have enough time to answer. There was a loud rumbling coming from the east, Darren turned his focus back to his rifle, scoping in he saw a gigantic creature, with a large clawed hand. It was heading straight for the Seahawk. Darren fired one round at the creature and it impacted on the creatures chest. It didn't even faze the behemoth, it picked up it's speed and charged the Seahawk. The monster hit the Helicopter at full speed, ripping into the cockpit of the chopper. The cockpit exploded and the helicopter crashed into the ground seconds after. Darren could hear the screams of McPherson and the others as the zombies tore into the remnants of the Seahawk. The Giant disappeared into the night, as if that's what it's mission was. To destroy the helicopter. Could something be controlling the behemoth? Darren didn't know, he just had to get to Sierra Hotel, and figure out what the hell was going on.

The helicopter was crushed and crumpled like some oversized pop can. What the hell was that thing? Jax's jaw was slack, his mouth open, dumbfounded at what he had just witnessed. He hadn't seen anything like the behemoth that just tore through the street. There wasn't much he could do besides try to draw some walkers away from the helicopter crash. He threw his flare down onto the street below. Most of the zombies ignored it but a few slowly headed in its direction. He needed to find a way off of the roof and out of the city. No way was he sticking around with giants that could crush a helicopter.
Jax walked the perimeter of the city hall's roof until he found a ledge he could slip down to. He dropped off of the roof and onto the patio taking a bit of impact because of a sloppy landing. He now stood right outside of a set of glass doors looking in on an office. He peered inside and seen a lone zombie shuffling near the door. It must have heard the commotion outside and couldnt open the door to go see what was going on. Jackson slowly opened the door and was nearly on top of the walker before it turned to face him. Before it could let out a sound Jax swung the fireman's axe and planted it into the undead's temple region.
"Sorry pal."
He then slowly peeked out of the office and could see down the hall a collection of walkers trying to push their way into the supply room where he had left them. Silently he slipped into the hallway and around a corner to another stair on the opposite side of the building from where he came up. He hit the ground floor and proceeded as slowly as possible, dozens of zombies could have wondered into the building by now and he wasnt willing to take any chances at this point.

CPL Darren Knight; 1998; Raccoon City Darren saw that the man from the roof had made it to the ground floor. He was starting to lose his cool, he just witnessed a giant monster take out a helicopter. Darren had to push those thoughts aside and get to the ground floor. It would take him seven to ten minutes to get to the ground if he took the stairs. If he repelled down, it would take three minutes if he went fast enough. That's what the plan is Darren would clip one end of the rope to the balcony, and the other end would be clipped to his carrier vest. That would be the fastest and safest way down. Darren stood on the ledge and jumped holding the rope. As he fell, Darren pulled the rope slowing himself down so he would land on the wall. With three perfect jumps from the wall, and proper control of the rope, he finally reached street level. There Dead were still focused on the helicopter except a few stragglers. Darren slung his MSR to his back and grabbed his Goblin PDR that was retrofitted with a silencer. He also pulled out his knife, and placed it in his firing hand that. The blade fit perfectly in between his hand and the pistol grip of his Goblin. He would use that instead of reloading, that shortens the combat time if Darren gets caught in a CQC situation. (Close Quarters Combat) Darren swung left of the crash, heading away from the dead. He got close to one of the dead, and quickly dispatched the zombie that was inhabiting the area. A close range shot to the head, and he quickly ran behind the falling corpse, catching it then lowering it to the ground. He did that so the dead wouldn't be attracted to the sound. Darren was now five feet from Sierra Hotel.

Jax crept his way through the ground floor, checking every corner as he went. His senses were on high alert and his brain was being assaulted with almost more feedback than he could stand. On top of that his exhaustion, lack of sleep, and panic weren't helping him to stay very steady. Luckily it appeared that every walker in the area was too interested in the fiasco out in the streets. He made it to the front doors and knew he had to get outside and get away from this place as soon as possible. He pressed his back up against the door frame of the front doors and gave himself a minute to catch his breath. Having barely had enough time to take a few unsteady breathes, Jax was completely unprepared for the large dark figure that suddenly stepped through the threshold. His first thought was of the giant that took out the helicopter. His pulse rushed and he took a few steps back nearly stumbling over his own feet. His hand snapped to his sidearm and brought it to bear before he even realized he was looking at one of the Marines.
"Hey, HEY! Woah! Stay back!" He didnt know why he was talking to the figure, if it was one of the marines already turned it would have no cognitive reaction to a command like that.

"Breathe. Just... Breathe..."
Jericho toggled the rifles scope, watching the figure stumbling out of the front doors across the street. He moved his scope across further, looking for the undead menace that had been tearing it's way through Raccoon City. Zombies were making their way up the street just under his position, so he'd need a few minutes before he moved across to the fire escape in order to climb down. It gave him time to process what he had seen the behemoth do, how it had torn the helicopter apart with minimal effort and just vanished into the night. There was no point in having fired on it; it was too big to take significant damage from the type of rifle he was currently using and besides, it wasn't after him anyway so it was of little concern.
What was of concern was the fact that it even existed, and this troubled him further; were these being mass produced and if so..
"By who?" He finished his thought out loud, before getting up and moving to the fire escape.
