Gabriella sat herself in a chair because her legs were starting to hurt very badly. Her tears were of Physical Pain and Mental Pain. "I'm...Sorry about your family, what was your family like?" she questioned Edward before hearing the sound of barking out in the hallway. The Convicts had dogs, probally from the Guards. "I think we should go now." Gabriella said before trying to get up....

Edward looked at Gabriella, worried about how much pain she was in. Would they even be able to get her moving without support of some kind? If that was the case, then a chase would lead into something much worse. They werent going to be captured again, they were going to be shot on sight. Hearing the dogs outside of the door put more stress on the situation. But the only part that didnt agree with him was the lack of human noise, maybe there were stray dogs that got in when they opened the door to the east wing. There was a reason these doors were all locked, this side might not have been contained very well.
Then they both heard yelling coming from the hallway outside as it got drowned out by more barking and tearing. Edwards eyes widened when he listened to the sounds of agony coming from the convicts, a brutal, slow attack was making the situation even more hostile. They werent going to be able to get through the door, on the possitive side. But that also meant the pair werent getting out either. Edward whispered as softly as possible near Gabriella, making sure to keep a low profile. "This is... No good... No good at all. Lets just stay quiet until they leave, and the we'll rush out and see if we cant grab their equipment and the Second key card for this wing, okay?"
When everything seemed to be getting down and dirty outside, things got worse, much worse. The emergency power shut off, which in turn sealed off the electronic doors, meaning they were now literally trapped inside the room. The dogs were still barking, but it got fainter and fainter as they ran away though to the lobby. Edward, with a bit more anger then he intended, slammed his open fist into the wall beside a shelf, knocking some odd and ends off of the unit. "Dammit... Just our luck..."
Edward tried the door, it wasnt going anywhere, not even if they tried to bash it open with something. They were built to stand gunfire even, there was no way they could get through now. Reaching inside of his jacket pocket, Edward pulled out a small flashlight, and shown it around the room. Avoiding Gabriellas face, he pointed to to her side, and then shook his head at the situation. Shining it around the top of the room, he thought maybe there was maybe an emergency exit of some kind. But thats when it hit him, when he aimed the light toward the large ventalation shaft over one of the shelves. He could fit, but Gabriella could, and there didnt look to be any other way. "Look, theres a vent here that you could use to get through into the hallway, and then find the power generator..."
Reaching inside of his pocket again, Edward pulled out hid cellphone, along with a bluetooth earpiece. There was no other situation where this would come in handy, but he switched the signals back to his phone. Handing it over to Gabriella, Edward turned his phone on, and then added the signal to his caller ID. "Put this on, and we can stay on the line, should work good once your out of the ventalation system and in the lobby... Sounds crazy, but unless you have a better plan?" Flipping the screen on his cellphone down, Edward handed over his 9mm handgun to Gabriella, hoping she wouldnt have to use it. But he didnt need to explain to her what to do with it if the situation does come to it. "...Alright then, let me help you up."

Gabriella took the 9mm Handgun from Edward, and then let him give her a boost into the Vent. She opened it up and climbed in. She started to climb in, but was moving slowly and in extreme pain with tears dropping from her face. She continued through the Vent into the Power Generator room. She turned on the phone and text Edward, "What do I do now?I'm there"

Edward handed over his cellphone instead, and attached the Bluetooth to his ear, making sure it was attached alright. Then with a helping shoulder, he boosted Gabriella up into the vents, giving her a good luck under his breath. After hearing the noise in the vent stop, he was sure she was in the right room, who knows how far from his location. It seemed like forever, but it was only a few minutes before he got the call, the quiet beeping enveloping in his eardrum. "Gabriella, are you in a room that has a lot of switches?"
As the girl responded, Edward listened to her explaination of the room she was in, reading off the names of all the buttons and such around the room. He was no expect on power restoration for a Correctional Facility, but somebody mustve turned off the power from there. If it was cut, all light sources wouldve stopped immediately. From the gauges of the light, it was manually shut up slowely, meaning several operations had to be performed before completing the process.
Before Edward could come to a conclusion for the problem, he heard a noise out in the hallway. While still listening to Gabriella speak, he moved toward the doorway, and then listened with his other ear. It sound like dragging, but it was enevitably followed by a deep moaning. The attacked convicts had been infected, and were now coming back to life. "Alright Gabriella, listen up. Find a way to balance the energy being transfered between sides of the building before anything. Measure them by seeing the approximate voltage on either side, and then trial and error the switches so they balance out. Sound complicated, just keep flicking them up and down until you find a combination that works..."

Gabriella started to mess around with the controls after being told to. She could hear the moaning of the infected out in the hallway. She became nervous, her breathing showed signs of Nervousness and Fear of the Infected. "What if they get in here?" she questioned Edward through the phone. After a few minutes, Gabriella had finally found the right switches. The power came back on finally

Without any visual aid, Edward knew this was going to be a but trickier then he though. But with a little patience and confidence in Gabriella, the emergency lights returned back to normal. Still hearing the question about what to do if the infected got inside, well that part would have to come eventually. "Alright, now there should be a control override switch somewheres in the room. If you can find that, you should have no problem unlocking the supply room door from your side. But..." Even if Gabriella did find the switch, and made sure it was activated, she would have to come all the back here without using the vents to unlock the door on that wing. This was a very dangerous attempt, but with a little encouragement she should be able to do it.
While Gabriella questioned the "But" at the end of his sentence, Edward then continued on thinking about the best course of action. She could either fight her way back to the east wing, or make a mad dash around the undead. The only thing wrong with that last plan was the fact that the dogs were much faster then her. This would have to be something she decided for herself, whatever role she has most faith in. "...But you need to get back here, and unlock the door in the east wing. You, have the handgun I gave you? Those fifteen shots, make them last, its all you got. I trust you, just stay calm, and collect yourself before going out there, alright?" Edward knew this wasnt going to be easy, but it had to be done one way or another.

"I don't think I can do this Edward....."
Gabriella hanged up the phone after hearing a group of Convicts banging on the door, "We know you're in there!Let us in before they get us!" yelled one of the convicts. Gabriella started to get nervous, the convicts didn't deserve to be eaten alive. But then again, they tortured her with a knife and was going to do more then that to her....
"Screw you!" she yelled at the convicts before hearing their screams. She back up into a corner, sat herself down and started to cry as she heard a Cerebus pack slaughtering them. After a few minutes, she got up and went to the door. She opened it,looked around and then started to sneak down the hallway towards the room that Edward was at.
The Hallways were mossy, slimy and stunk of Blood,Flesh and much more. A Zombie in a Guard Outfit started to approach her. Gabriella's leg was in pain, she could barely move any faster then that Zombie, she raised her pistol and shot the creature in the head. She continued down the hall when she started to notice strange claw marks on the walls...
Finally she reached the room that Edward was in, she unlocked the door with a Card Key she grabbed from that Zombie. The door opened and Edward was standing in the room. "I think I did it..." she said softly with Pain in her voice and on her face.

After a long radio silence, thats what its called when both ends of communication just stop recieveing transmissions, Edward was getting worried that something might have happened to Gabriella. The only thing that he could hear through it all was the sound of a gunshot, that was about it. Even it was too far away to even be recognized by his ear. But sure enough, there was a loud beep at the door, and he ran to open it up as the girl moved inside. "Yeah, ya did it kiddo..." But Edward could tell that she was in pain, from how she walked to the words came from her mouth. Taking the gun from Gabriella, he checked the magazine to see there had been one shot spent out of the fifteen. She had a knack for it, anyone growing up in this sort of enviornment had the same common sense.
Without much hesitation, Edward out his arm around Gabriella, and then lift her upright to that she could be assisted to the Infirmary. She was smaller then him, but he just leaned down a bit, carrying her most of the way. After hitting the door, he saw Gabriella swipe the card with her free hand to let them enter. Edward lay her down on the table, and then made sure the door was tightly shut. Who knows what was still alive and roaming around after all of that, the dogs for one thing were at the top of the food chain for now. Their time would be spent on taking down the infected convicts, occupied with them so Edward could play doctor for at least a good half hour to an hour.
After the room was secure, there was an unkindly shortage of light in the room, which would make things more difficult, but manageable. Edward was a little nervous, looking over Gabriellas body for each individual cut. A careful process was needed to make sure there was no risk of infection from simple contact, it was just something that needed to be though about. But the real nervous part came when Edward saw that a lot of the marks were all over her body, meaning Gabriella would have to... "Uh, I... Dont take this the wrong way, but I... You need... Could you remove your shirt? I promise, im trying to be as professional as I can here..."

"Uh, I... Dont take this the wrong way, but I... You need... Could you remove your shirt? I promise, im trying to be as professional as I can here..."
Gabriella looked at him as if she was thinking 'Hell no!'. She sat herself up, showing signs of pain and agony. "Are you serious? Take off my shirt? This absolutely never leaves this room...Or I will hurt you!" she replied to him before taking off her shirt. After he started to fix her up after she laid on her back, she felt like starting up a conversation. "What are we going to do?I think there's something else out there...not just Cerebus and Zombies. I think something bigger is starting the outbreak in this place...I found claw marks in the hallway on my way back to you. But these claw marks were huge, they're nothing like i've seen before...." she said to him with pain in her voice. Gabriella felt pain going through her whole body, the blood came from her cuts and leaked out from her body.

Edward grinned before putting on a serious face to Gabriellas remark. Of course it wasn't like he had anybody to share with, and this was strictly professional. After scanned the girls body, hes found about seven lacerations, eight including the very deep cut on her arm. Edward walked over to the the carbonate and search around for hydrogen peroxide, and clear alcohol to apply onto the wounds. Along with exactly what he was looking for, there was a fresh role of bandages, and thick Band aid patches for the smaller cuts. Listening to Gabriella speak made him realize that she wasn't making anything up, something bigger was in this place, thats what he feared the most. "Well then, were gonna have to speed up the healing process a bit, so we can get ourselves out of here as quickly as possible. Hold your breath."
The last order came a bit quick, but Gabriella listened carefully enough to catch it. Edward unraveled the makeshift bandage from her arm, tossing it to the floor. It was still bleeding through thinner parts, but it was healing up pretty well. Once he saw Gabriellas stomach muscles flex as she held her breath, he poured the peroxide over the wound, watching it foam up. A fairly loud vocal noise came from her mouth, a sharp pain was inevitable. "Sorry... Really..." As the wound was setting, he let the air keep at it for a little but while he worked on the smaller cuts.
Taking the alcohol, Edward damped a moderate amount onto a cotton ball, then rubbing it over each of Gabriellas cuts, making particularly gentle movements around her sensitive areas like her stomach. After each of the wounds were cleaned up on her torso, Edward handed the cotton ball to her. "Now you can go around your face, id rather not take the risk of getting any in your eyes..." While he did this, Edward now picked up the patches, and began to apply them over each cut. Five of the seven were on her torso, but the ones on her face would heal better exposed to the air. After this was done, he ran his finger around the seams, making sure they were placed right.
"Alright, now comes the tricky part..." Edward was nearly finished, there was just the last, most painful part of the process. Suturing the wound closed. But what made this harder was he couldn't find anything to numb the skin around the wound, meaning this would be an even more painful process. But on and eighteen year old girl? Edward wasn't feeling up for completing this, maybe it was better to let it heal over time, and just be careful how Gabriella used her arm. "Actually, nevermind, I cant do it... It would be too painful to stitch the wound closed, I dont want you to be in anymore pain then your already are..."

"Actually, nevermind, I cant do it... It would be too painful to stitch the wound closed, I dont want you to be in anymore pain then your already are..."
"If you don't stitch it, it'll get infected and then I can lose my arm. Correct? Please just do it, I want to get out of this place, that thing...I don't want to meet that thing that left thoughs scratches in the hallway. If it can break into this place and cause a Outbreak, then that thing is powerful." she replied to him. As he dealt with the wound, Gabriella cried in pain. She started to think about her family, it was the only thing that could calm her down. After it was all done, Gabriella put back on her shirt, but then there was loud noises happening outside. Screaming from convicts, and a loud Inhuman Screetch from something else. After a few minutes, everything went quiet, "What was that?" Gabriella questioned Edward with fear.

As much as he hated to do it, Edward didnt have much choice if its what she wanted. It took him a good ten minuts, not like he was a doctor. But the stitching went well, and the wound was now closed over, and wouldnt open up again. But on top of this, Edward grabbed the bandage roll, and cleaned it up to make sure it stayed out of harms way. Wrapping it around the wound several times over, he then used the adhiesive to stead it along Gabriellas shoulder, and then cross over her neck and chest to make sure it was good and secure.
Thats when Edward heard the screech as well, and only two things came to mind after hearing it. It sounded like I could have been either one of those reptillian creatures, or the ones with the tongue. Based on the claw marks, it could be either, but most horribly even something he hasnt encountered before. Helping Gabriella off of the bed, Edward maturely took the handgun from her, and aimed it toward the door. "We should get to the Armory, theyll have some weapons we can use, other then this handgun. Lets just hurry there..."
Walking forward, Edwards pushed open the infirmary door, and aimed the gun outside in the hallway with a corner weave. It was a tactic he hadnt learnt in his training, but it was something that was aquired through using firearms during the first outbreak. While the coast was clear, Edward motioned for Gabriella to follow him close, and to keep an eye on their backside.

Gabriella followed Edward down the hallway, there were dead bodies everywhere. Claw marks all along the walls, the bodies had large cut all over them, including missing limbs or decapitation. "What happend here Edward? What ever did that isn't like the rest of the Infected. Aren't they suppose to be very similar to the creature they were originally?Nothing has claws that sharp or that powerful." she said in fear. The only infected Gabriella ever saw was Cerebus Packs and Zombies Hordes along with Crows and other things. But none of them mutated much past their original form, but this thing was much much different. As they slowly walked down the hall, Gabriella stopped. She opened up a door, it was the Security Room. "I want to see what's killing everyone." Gabriella told Edward before walking into the room. She sat down in one of the chairs and started to watch the Video Screens. They seemed like nothing was happening at first before on one of the screens a dead body went flying into a wall, with large claw marks. Then the camera died, "What's going on Edward?" she questioned.

The only thing he could do was listen to Gabriella, Edward no know idea what was going on, or why thy havent run into it by now. Which was a good thing, they wouldnt have to fight it. But just waiting for something to happen could be much worse then anything else, because that meant it could move around without making too much noise. After finding the security room, Edward nodded to Gabriella, he would like to check out the camera too. Switch to one video revieled something horric, but then it was cut off from the rest. As then panned through various screens of the whole facility, it was a little to dark to make out anything accurately, but he did see a large mass on its way down the east wing hallway, almost like it was patrolling.
"Keep quiet..." Edward watched the image on the camera move near the door to the room which they were inside, now reflecting his attention to door. He held his breath without making noise, just standing still and hoping it wouldnt try to break in here. But out of habbit, Edward aimed the handgun toward the door, for the off chance it did enter he could have a decent shot ahead of time. But just then, the door started to move from the outside, and there was a loud screech. Edward scrambled to the other side of the room, knowing Gabriella would follow. He stopped in his tracks seeing a gun rack containing a Riot Shotgun, and quickly grabbed it. Making sure it was loaded up, Edward then passed the handgun over to his partner, and issued one last order before the door burst open. "Run and gun!"

The door started to open, Gabriella was confused now how could any Infected open a door? But something was opening it, and Edward seemed to know what it was. She kept herself quiet with her pistol aimed at the door. But soon as it burst opened, she ran with Edward. There seemed to be a war going on between the convicts and Zombies. But some of the zombies were different then the rest of the zombies. These ones seemed to move faster, they had claws and their skin was a shade of red. They even killed the other Zombies to get to the Convicts. Gabriella followed Edward down the opposite direction of the Zombies and Convicts. "You still haven't told me what's going on!How are thoughs zombies moving faster?! And why are they different?!" she at Edward as they ran. When they finally reached the Armory, Gabriella opened the Armory up with her Keycard. "Now before we going any further, I want you to explain exactly what is going on here." she told Edward.
