Would totally rock. Bleh. Silly Tricell.... I want that RE5 PS3 though..I wonder if they are region locked.
Thing to remember though, Is the US version of the collectors is completely unconfirmed. Those contents were for a super special one you had to buy through capcom. Our version could have all, or none. An email sent to Gamestops computers mentions a USB and a backpack, so we very well could get the same collectors. But I feel it would not be surprising if anything gets cut last second.

Sweet. Check it, yo. www.gamestop.com/gs/landing/re5/default.aspx?&affid=3002&WT.mc_id=011609nlCan't decide if its worth it yet or not. And the lack of the usb thing bummed me out. Its still an awesome collector's edition. Any takers?

Ya, I think I will too. Might have to sell some stuff though. My old Mass Effect, among other things....

I won't be getting it. The only thing that interests me is the making of featurette and I'm sure that will find its way on to youtube.

I want the bag and the patch (maybe), but nothing else. How much more expensive is it than the normal edition? That's the real back-breaker. Also, I've skimmed through the other pages and what's this about Jill being a boss? No way. I can't play the game if I have to kill Jill! She's my third favorite character (Wesker is number two, and Rebecca's number one)!

:/ 89.99 still on the gamestop website, but 79.99 on capcoms store.
If I wouldn't be getting it for that much at gamestop because of my discount, Its say screw that and buy with capcom.. Though with shipping...Might as well get it in store.

I don't mind killing Wesker. He's cool and all, but he's more my favorite because I'm just longing to kill him, y'know? Like in the Harry Potter series, my favorite character is Draco. Not because he's a good guy, but because he's cool and I so want to hurt him. Wesker's evil side is just so awesome, though, he's like a role model for me. But is it actually confirmed that Jill is a boss (please say no, or at least that she isn't a boss)?

From hacks it's apparent.

Essentially, I'm finding it easy to not believe it. The picture released on the net contained label codes (Bare with me here, I don't know hack lingue) for each character, or each 'Hostile' you come across in the game. There was no alphabetical order on there, but among it all was Wesker, some unknown codenames for what would be B.O.W.s likely and an enemy similar to J.J. in Resident Evil 4 as well as a 'Goat', which I'm assuming is similar to the chickens in RE4 too.
Jill was among these, however it's possible that it was an odd chance that Jill's graphic was put among a whole heap of hostile graphics and she actually appears as her normal self, not as an enemy in the game.

I find it very believable that she is a boss. If she was anything but, why wouldn't she have Sheva's role? Resident Evil 5 is about Chris Redfield and a tragic story for him I think. Having to kill seems like a real tragedy for him.

Maybe she appears to "save the day" in the end, and even Chris doesn't know she's still alive. Like, picture this:
Chris and Sheva are fighting for their lives, getting their asses kicked by Wesker or some other impossibly strong B.O.W., or a boss they just beat gets back up and is about to kill Chris, and Jill shows up and blasts the monster to a million pieces with the trademark Rocket Launcher~! Go Jill Valentine (although I secretly think that it should be Jill Redfield by then)!

I'm all for killing Jill. Her last real appearance was in Resident Evil 3 and thats nearly 10 years ago. Its about time that stagnant characters are killed off in my opinion.
