"Alright, your right, well least he's or it's still alive, and it'd be a good picture!"He said quickly pulling it out and taking a snap shot of the thing that was still alive in a bloody mess of blood and guts."This story just keeps getting better and better!"He said excitedly but still a little shaken."Ellen's right."He thought"And if we're gonna get though this and get the story I'm gonna need to learn to shoot at,those things."He grabbed his pistol that was in the drink holder and turned to Ellen."Alright my house isn't too far,I think we can make the rest of the way on foot.Just stick close and, keep an eye out for anything interesting."He said to Ellen. He quickly unlocked the car and ran torwards the west road, taking a picture of the three zombies as he passed by.

Ellen cautiously followed him. It seemed strange that somebody would want to take pictures of zombies during a disaster such as this, but then again there are maniacs who go near tornados just to take pictures regardless of the danger. Maybe he was like them: willing to take pictures just to show how brave he was and earn bragging rights. Her friend Shaquan used to be like that before he moved to Oklahoma last year.
The roads were about as messy as all the others she had been through, though there weren't as many broken down cars. The zombies were a bit too close for her to actually shoot them with one of her arrows, so she just chose to avoid them by running by them. As the two turned a few corners, fast footsteps and deep breathing came towards them. Ellen turned her head and noticed a Hispanic girl of about fifteen or sixteen running towards them, fear in her eyes and two zombies following her. As soon as the younger girl tripped over a brick in the road, Ellen knew that she was done for. Even if Ellen would have started running towards her at her fastest speed, the girl's screams would have gotten to Ellen first.
Not even three seconds after the girl hit the ground, the zombies knelt over her and sank their teeth into her skin. The girl struggled and screamed but was dead from exsanguination shortly after. Soon she would be another one of them.

"Oh god!NO GET OFF OF HER!"James said running towards the two monsters and the girl they were feasting on.The monsters looked up at him.One was a young man with a giant scar across his face. It's skin was more decayed than all the other monsters he had seen. The other was a woman around 40is, missing it's right eyeball. It's skin wasn't too decayed but it's mouth was really bloodied. They quickly got up and ran at him."Oh no no no no!"James said turning around and running.

"Stop! You can't help her anymore!" Ellen shouted, a strange thing for her to do. Unfortunately, by the time she finished her sentence, the zombies had already gotten up and started moving towards them. This was bad. They seemed to be moving faster than usual, but it could have been just an illusion. Ellen had seen so many strange things today that nothing seemed as it should be.
Also unfortunately for Ellen, her new friend started running the opposite way. She now had two decisions to make: quickly kill the zombies with her arrows and continue on her own or run away from the zombies and follow James. She decided to stick to the latter; she wanted to stay with somebody that could help her and bring her someplace safe. Fighting was also not something she was used to.
She let out a soft sigh, turned, and followed James in the direction he was going, hoping that the zombies would be at a big enough distance. The further she ran, the softer the moans got, but she wouldn't stop until James did, no matter how tired or fearful she got.
