Despite the assault effort made when backup arrived, it seemed futile to take the monster head on, and at the same time ingenious. To use the environment and the surroundings was a classic strategy, and almost always worked. Finding a temporary solution until they could checkmate this thing was key and probably the point of Rey jumping in like that. The results of attempting to carry out a single handed attack were as bad, if not worse than had been expected, but once the creature rushed Rey, her attack also yielded success. At cold enough temperatures the CO2 froze sections of the monster upon contact but not a full freeze, leaving a smaller version of his eerie liquid like figure. Outside of the frozen condition, making contact with most things in a solid state of matter would not have any negative effects, limiting most of the offensive options. Targets most affected were almost always living organisms. Rey appeared to have a wound from what might be 3rd degree burns and worse.
As Madison dragged her partner through the metal doorway, the door itself was still open. Unlike most doors, it was operated with a sliding motion after pulling the handle. Francho glanced down the hall quickly, trying to assure himself that the two girls were safe within the cockpit of the plane. Seeing as there was a delay in the movement of the creature, Francho was able to run over to the door and quickly close it, tightening the small handle so that it was closed as best as he could humanly manage. While standing near the sealed door, his nose was met with a smell that caused him to retreat back amidst the cargo boxes; it curved and rebounded off and from above the door's old steel arch. His next action would be going after the only fire extinguisher left within the room. After a short dash forward, he would be followed by the monster. Pivoting his foot, and nearly slipping off of his feet mid-dash, he swerved around and through the various columns of boxed cargo, taking majority left turns and right turns whenever he felt his running had become predictable. All of this, while still advancing to reach the fire extinguisher at the far end wall.
With each move he could only narrowly avoid the creatures grasp, as the solvent like form easily dissolved and passed through his brown overcoat and parts of his black t-shirt underneath, eating through to portions of his skins. The burns went from a constant warm to an immediate searing sensation. He realized no matter how bad, he couldn't stop moving or he would receive worse and he was only a few more paces away. Coming up on the fire extinguisher hanging solitary on the wall, he wasn't sure whether to feel relief or a sense of dread. He tried to unhook the large red canister from the aircraft's wall, but he wouldn't have enough time. Making it's way over in an uneasy manner, switching from a walk on what could have been legs formed from it's mass to a slither or crawl. Whatever it was, it wasn't easy to watch especially when it speeds up. His options were very limited, causing him to become impatient for a solution. The monster soon jumped up from it acidic streaks on the floor angling itself at Francho's brain. Reacting in a matter of seconds, Francho pointed the barrel of Madison's suppressed pistol at a bright reflective spot around the center of the red canister. Pulling the trigger without second thought, a strong concussive burst of pressured CO2 hit his face as he fell back spread on the floor. The canister itself, moving rapidly around while spraying it's contents everywhere made contact with the B.O.W, being engulfed by how massive the monster was. It's corrosive content almost immediately engulfed the extinguisher and splattered the wall. A large pop relative to a gunshot, and louder than the suppressed gunshots could be heard through the cargo bay, and probably the entire plane as the cooled gas within the container was all released simultaneously and temporarily freezing the creature, or most of it as previously done.
Francho rolled on the floor for about a minute trying to regain focus. His vision had become a bit blurry and his legs were a bit unstable. Attempting to crawl over to the lever that would open the drop doors within the cargo bay, he stumbled onto his face while his knees were shaking and torso as well, unable to support his upper body as if he had the shakes. As an alternative, his rolled across the floor with the determination to somehow get rid of the B.O.W. Finally reaching the wall where the lever was located, which wasn't very far of a distance, he extended his left arm with the intent to grab onto the end. His focus and strength was slowly returning as he administered a tight grip on the switch and pulled down on it using his weight. The cargo drop doors were wide open, and the rest was left to gravity and the pilot.

With the struggle in the cargo hold, there really wasnt enough time to see what sort of supplies they were losing, but it wasbest to assume it wasnt anything important to anyone, and ever if it had been, they needed it gone. Within a couple of seconds, they dropped a large portion of whatever was in the cargo bay, judging by the weight indicators, which hopefully meant the creature had also been dropped off the plane. Madison rebalanced out the large aircraft to a normal straight once they were high enough, and confident that they were out of danger from making contact with anythung as well. She was in no shape or form a pilot, but really id wasnt that much harder. Landing would be the hard part, but she never even thought about it, only about how their monster met its end, and whether Rey was going to be dead or not.
Opening up the door, she held the gun forward, seeing the dim lights in the plane light barely brightening enough to see to the back of the hold. There wasnt any gunfire, suppressor or other, and no sounds of loud movment or shouting, which was assumed they had wont, and she could go back to her friend and lover. Madison seen and felt the blood on the floor, and was worried her. There was nothing she couldve done, what happened, happened. With how deep it brunt into her side, she wouldnt went unconscience from the pain almost instant, which was a good thing. But the blood had stopped, too, which was another side of things. She knew at this point, things would have to be explained to their new partner, but she didnt care.
"Hey, you still alive back there?"

With an added factor of wind turbulence, the plane had been rattled violently. But no matter how bad it would get, Francho wouldn't release the handle until he felt assured that thing was gone. For the most part, the room was cleared and the large bumps were just enough to shatter most pieces of the creature and shimmy them off the plane. The rest simply gave no hold to the plane and dropped off. He kept his eyes fixed around the few remaining stacks of tied up supplies. Technically there were three, if you counted the melted top half of one of the stacks. Each one sat firmly on wooden pallets, even the 'dissolved' one.
With really no other way to tell if that thing was gone, and an injured person on the plane, not including himself since he only suffered from minor burns, Francho had to be positive that all of the B.O.W had either fallen out of the plane or broken into frozen pieces and chunks before falling. After lifting himself from the cargo hold's floor, Francho lifted the lever he held onto so tight, to close the cargo drop doors. Waiting for them to fully close, he could hear a shout from the front of the plane. The exact words were oblivious over the grinding hum of the metal machine doors closing. He slipped around the two large doors and one of the cargo crates going back over to the metal arch door that led to plane's small corridor. He unlatched the door sliding it to the side. Down the hall he could see one of the girls also peeking through a door which led to the pilot's cabin. "Ah, there you are. Your friend still breathing?"
He asked while continuing down the hall to the cockpit door. He wanted to take a look at the wound, to see just how bad it really was.

With a few minutes, their partner at been at the door to the pilots cabin. This was it, the moment of truth. Madison had to open up, both the door, and the truth. But which made sense to do first? if he seen that Rey had been dead in the chair, maybe his reaction would be to shoot her before she turned, or depending what the monster they just fought was capable of, if it wouldve done something to her besides the obvious. Twisting the handle, Madison opened up, and immediately spoke. "Shes not dead, no matter what it looks like." She let the man in, and almost immedately, he seen her sitting in the chair. For a normal human, this wasnt something you could recover from. But to Rey, this was just a really bad bump in the road.
Before he could say anything else, Madison continued. "Shes viral, something inside her makes her heal, ive seen it plenty of times. I even seen her take a bullet to the head, and she came back from that, only losing memory. It takes some time for her though, a couple of hours, looking at this wound. It usually kicks in quickly, but theres something else..." This was one of the first major wounds she had to recover from since the accident, and they still werent entirely sure what changed in her, since her memory had been gone from it all, and even mor than that.
Judging by the fact that this probably wasnt uncharted territory, Madison didnt bother going into the details of it all, but she could tell their forign partner was accepting enough, and given that he knew a lot about a virus that literally just did something that even she herself never heard of, there wasnt going to be much tension between them. No secrets. But the next question would decide what happened next while they waited for their flight to reach destination. "Shes absorbed virus' before, part of the healing process. If theres any chance she couldnt contracted whatever the hell were suppose to be transporting, you need to tell me. Maybe your not some scientist, but you know a lot about this thing. Tell me about it, so we can get ahead of this, because she heals and wakes up."
Though in all honesty, this was more than likely going to be out in the open. They werent going to know exactly what happens until it does, and thats whether he knows enough about the virus or not. All of this would most likely explain why the girls had been here in the first place, Rey especially wanting the package for answers. The thing was, maybe this changed everything. Their mission was still the same, but now they had to run with an experiment while completing the job. Two birds with one stone.

With a slight look of astonishment, he crept over to observe Rey's face, with his hand on her chin--just underneath her jaw to prevent her from taking a delicious bite out of the Russian pie, if she happened to "wake up." Moving her face to the left, he could observe the right side of it, her neck, cheek, ear, jawline, eye, hair, and any other feature that she might have. Moving his hand opposite to his previous gesture so that he could observe the other side her face. "Alright, I believe you."
His half true phrase came very strict from his lips, not able to really stomach between lying to the girl or saving his own life or just making a mistake completely by losing one of their allies. He let go gentle like and slowly not to show that he was a bit weary of what Madison was saying. Sitting back against one of the walls within the cockpit, he slid down to the floor to wait until they reached their destination or Rey was alive, or dead--awake or whatever it was. He couldn't even focus enough to think about opening the remaining crates in the cargo bay, or scavenging what supplies were around the plane. He really hadn't even thought about his partner Luiz. "You can give me my gun when she wakes." He relayed to her while laying the pistol he earlier borrowed on the dash/console display of the plane.

Without saying anything more about the prediciment, they had both just sat and waited. The plane was in autopilot, something that was easily found. It shouldnt have come as a surprise that taking off with the plane had been one of the most accomplishment moments of her life, but really, it was something. They were over the mountains, and in the clear, not a breath of wind either. Unless their partner knew how to land, they would have to jump out, hoping that the parachutes didnt get lost in the cargo hold. Using both hands to adjust the gear little more, Madison made sure they were level as possible, eyeing the lines on the little dial.
She felt her own wrist though. It had only been about a month since she got her arm back, partly why she was okay with taking on the missing with Rey. It was definitely still something out of her area of expertise, even having dated one of the superhumans before all of this, now she was married to one. Madison really hoped that Rey would wake up okay, she knew she wouldnt have anymore memory loss, thankfully, but she wouldnt be exactly the same. She never was. Wanting to get her mind off of it for now, and to break the silence, Madison continued her story, sliding her partners gun back over to him with her offhand.
"I lost this arm. She helped me grow it back. Is that amazing? If there had been a better infastructure for communication, I bet she would probably end up changing the world of medicine. Maybe. I dont think she would be interested, so its a good thing. This is the first time I left the country before, her too. Nobody knows were here, either. Since ive been honest with you so far, and I expect you were honest with me, I gotta say this. We really planned on just killing you and taking that sample. But I was against it, and she loved me enough, respects me enough to listen. We need eachother, all of us, to make sure this gets where its going. But at the end of this road, I dont know what your expecting. Money? Answers? We just want to make sure it goes to the right people, so it doesnt end up messing the world up anymore that it already is..."

Hearing the girls words spoke lengths about the content of her character. The depths of definite trust and a kind mindset. When he listened to her words, Francho heard not wishful thinking from a naive woman, but a glimpse of hope that the world still has something everyone needs. The world still has something of value, something to offer to those who would destroy it along with themselves otherwise. As much as it hurt him to say, he proceeded to come forth about the details behind the offer.
Sitting his pistol on the floor next to him, he spoke "Im sorry to say but, our 'employer' is not the bsaa or american government. Their intentions are probably far worse than what umbrella may think of." With his off hand he stroked his chin for a bit before continuing, "My partner and I, we're just making some quick cash..." he paused for a second, trying to with hold saying anything else, but decided to say it anyway. He realized that there was really no harm done, and she was honest with him so at the least he could do the same. "and, we may be expecting legal pardons in a few parts of certain countries."
Quickly avoiding any more information on the topic he decided to ask a question. "So, your partner thought of killing me and taking the sample back then and I have you to thank for my life but, what are you both thinking now? You can see this thing is dangerous but, that display doesn't begin to describe the true dangers of it. It wont always have caustic properties, it may be more solid than liquid next time. It may not have a chemical vulnerability to cooled and pressurized gas." Taking his hand off of his face, he gestured it as if he was shrugging. "Circumstances."

"Glad thats out of the way, then... Our plans are the same. Get this back to my people. I dont work for the BSAA either, and seeing how theyre fighting a losing battle alongside with the government, one theyre probably going to end up losing in all honesty, I dont think they care much about it. Umbrella, for lack of a better word, probably wants this the most. Theyre followers anyway, the ones who have the same goals in mind, since the corporation itself isnt really up and running anymore. Far as I know, at least." Thinking about it a little more, the state of the BSAA and everyone else was really a mystery. Clearly the guy knew this, and was expecting to get paid by somebody somewhere.
The forwardness of the two made the air a lot thinner, easier for them to breath now, especially since Madison had already been on edge about the entire thing. She wasnt here for money, or glory, or pardons for other countries. She was here to get this virus, or whatever, with her lover, and make sure it got to somebody who would put it to good use. At this point, however, seeing as how it had just fallen out of a plane some tens of thousands feet in the air, the effect it would have on Japan below might be its downfall. It seemed most of the world had already been victimized, and slowely started to become a viral warzone, but this was something unexpected. The fact that the virus was now inside of Rey made things even more complicated, but at least they still had the sample, on some level.
"In another week, those countries you need pardons for might not even be counties anymore. I seen how quickly the USA fell, its only a matter of time. Im not interested in working for anyone, or any sort of personal gain, but if you help get this stuff back to our people, we can get you whatever you want. You and your partner too, were still meeting up with him, I take it?" Before getting a response, though not expecting one just yet anyways, Rey had shifted in the chair and fell onto the floor before Madison could catch her. The man had been quick to go for his gun, which was understandable, but Madison quickly grabbed onto her lover and helped her onto her back.
The in the next few moment, however, the wounds she had started to real much faster than Madison seen before. It was nearly instantainious this time, and the way her skin moved, it was even more unnatural than it already was. A loud yell came from the womans mouth, and Madison just tried to calm her down, seeing she was obviously in pain. "Come on, its okay, im here." Though it wasnt her comforting that made her stop, it was the numbness kicking in. Madison had no clue what her lover was feeling, seeing the skin of her regenerate and connect back to normal, albeit some discoloration. It couldnt have been pleasent. But not long after her body had been nearly fully healed, she was unconcious again, Madison still holding onto her. "Shes going to be fine, trust me. But whatever that sh*t did to her, seemed to definitely merge. Whether or not thats going to work to our advantage is another story."
After seeing exactly what he say, Madison was hoping that their new partner here would reconsider his old plans, and help them get Rey to wherever it is she needs to go. But then another thought crossed her mind. This was going to be a pretty big journey, as it was getting here in the first place, but maybe they could go back to his employers, and see what they knew before reporting to her own people. That way, it kept him in control of the situation, and didnt feel like he needed to make his choice right here, right now, and could just go with the flow of things and see which benifited him the most at the end.

For a second his heart had jumped, but no more than a mere second. After which his heart was a lot calmer and the whole process of watching the injured woman being taken care of put to rest any suspicions left floating around. Something about it seemed a bit humane, and within a cage of iron that Francho kept his mind and heart, his defenses were effectively lowered for the time being. "Alright, so we're going to touchdown before meeting this client of yours and regroup with my partner. He probably stuck to the plan, and is moving around somewhere along the way to Russia."
Straightening his attire which already was in a poor status, to imply that a few brushes would actually improve his clothing's condition Francho exited the circular cockpit doorway, and continued down the hall. Two personal quarters could be seen opposite of each other near the end of the hall, as well as the door leading back to the cargo bay. Next to him was the plane door's entrance/exit. Each door seemed ritualistically fitted for anything but ease of access. Continuing in search of supplies, he proceeded with opening the doors one after the next. Each small living quarters hadn't been too impressive, mostly beds and clothing which would no longer be of use to its original owner and at the same time it's plausible to be contaminated with something, the simple thought making it of no use to Francho. Sealing the doors back to their previous state, he wandered towards the cargo hold, ignoring the lingering scent of chemically scorched flesh and the site of large half...eaten? Absorbed masses of bones and other bodily components. The two crates still in the now empty room were in a nice condition considering the few dissolved edges as non-existent. With his firmly gripped ballistic knife in hand, Francho started hacking at the first crate's rugged packaging with ease. Once opened, most of the top boxes contained a lot of heavy military ordnance, many things recognizable from Russia and other countries. It seemed extremely unreasonable to be carrying so many heavy munitions and the like. The bottom crate was larger than the others. Without a doubt the actual weapons for these munitions were close behind, but of course to no luck. Only simple stacks of paperwork filled the brim of the box. Not bothering to check the other crate, possibly out of laziness, Francho returned to the cockpit to continue conversing. It was possible that Rey was awake now but then again, she just lost most of a leg. Many people tend to have a hard time recovering from such, given the chance that they are still living.

Auto pilot or not, the plane needed to be wacthed. It probably didnt need to be, but Madison was gong to watch it anyways, because it was in her nature to make sure that when they only had one thing to worry about, it was what she worried about constantly. There could have been several things on her mind, but all of them didnt really matter if the plane failed in mid air, so that was it for her. Still, she had barely any clue what she was doing, just making sure the altimiter was level, as was the pitch yaw guage. Paying attention back in highschool helped to know the terms, but she never took any sort of pilot school before, so she still just went with basic knowledge. Though, when their partner mentioned touching down, Madison was a little scared. But she swallowed her fear, because skydiving and not being able to land the plane were equally terrifying.
Her mind had a chance to settle down again once the man came back, but even more thoughts rushed in as soon as he did, because seconds after he did, Rey had opened her eyes and jumped to her feet panicked. Madison had been in front of her almost immediately, and the woman fell on top of her, keeping her balance upright. "Babe, can you hear me? Do you recognize me? Please tell me you recognize me. How do you feel?" Her hands seemed to almost press into her skin, fingertips feeling like if there was anymore pressure, they would dig in. With the only response being a nod to both questions, Rey let go, and tried to move back to the rear of the plane, only to fall flat on the ground. Her leg had pressed and forced itself on a strange angle, and both Madison and their partner looked at it, knowing it was definitely something to do with whatever got inside of her now. "F*** me, thats... I dont even know."

Of all the years of being tortured after faulty espionage infiltration as well as being the one on the opposite end to do the torturing, there was a proper way of breaking and bending a leg usually around the knee, maybe even simulating a tear in the ACL and forcing them to walk on it anyway was harsh, but as both Madison and Francho watched Rey stand only to tumble down the hall a general thought floating around didn't have to be said. It was universally known how a leg bends and breaks being that the universe extends no further than this plane but, leg really just aren't supposed to; not like that. Taking a step back from the rush of how dire the situation is or may become, francho started brainstorming. "She has lost a limb before, yes? Why not take another?" As unorthodox and strange as this may have sounded, situations like these which far surpassed the level of strange-ness, called for something to essentially counter act it. "Maybe we can cut off the leg and it will regrow. We could also cauterize the wound, but if she bleeds out, she can come back to life like she did before, yes? Or we can just wait and see what happens.."
Pulling out the Machete from the sheath of his combination pistol, the sheath, which also had a part time job as being the stock for the gun left open like a sealable case, his sudden approach had stopped. Of course he wouldn't want to be the one to hurt Rey, otherwise Madison wouldn't give much of a second thought to killing him, and making someone who still has a sense of life and morality kill another person is a scary thought in itself. He flipped the blade so that the blade was actually in his hand as he was gripping it and gestured the handle towards Madison. If she wanted to do it then it would be her choice. But otherwise time was of the essence.

Rey had turned over while Madison tried to lift her up once more. She didnt seem to be in pain at all, even with the high level of pain threshold she had, the younger woman had some sort of distinguishing facial features that let people know where her mind was at. But right now, it wasnt on the pain, Rey had been scared, for once in a fairly long time, she was scared at what was happening to her inside. Nobody knew exactly what was going on, only she herself could feel it, enough to know something was wrong. Madison even see that she tried to talk, but just couldnt, muted by something, only able to hum to herself. Though even that didnt sound right, it had been garbled, like she had a cold, and her throat was blocked up by mucus. "Its okay, your going to be fine, just lay still." Honestly though, Madison had no clue if she was going to be okay, but she was going to be positive about the situation. Thats when their partner had the idea of cutting her leg off.
Madison was against even the idea at first, but as he explained himself a bit more, it seemed to all make a little more sense. It would hurt, but it would work, it should work, because its worked several times before. She even healed another person, having regrown Madisons arm as well, so unless whatever was inside her prevented Rey from doing so, it should work. Given the fact everything seemed to have healed up at nearly three times the speed as it normally did, despite having the broken leg still, only showed the idea more glass half full. "Rey, did you hear him? Are you okay with this?" Madison didnt want to do this either, no matter how positive he had been thinking, she made it obvious it would be hard for her. She killed people, never out of anger, but killed plenty. Cutting off somebodies leg was something she couldnt stomach doing. It wasnt even Madisons call, it was her own, but Rey seemed eager.
The machete had been taken, but in the next moment, Rey looked into her lovers eyes, and then quickly grabbed her wrist. Her skin felt very moist, not like sweat, like something else, and the sensation almost numbed her skin. But Rey grabbed the machete from her, and pushed her away. Madison watched, feeling the skin on her arm become cold to the touch, but the numbless quickly went away. She wanted to tell their partner, but was more focused on what Rey was about to do. Without warning even, the blade came down, several times in the same place, just above the knee, until it had been severes. Rey wasnt in pain. There wasnt even much blood, it was strange. Normally where Madison would look away, she watched. Rey, breathing heavily with a hopeful look on her face, tossed the machete to the floor, and lay back on the ground, eyes still open, waiting.
Madison looked at her, and then to the only other person in the room. "Thanks... I knew what I would be getting involved in sticking around with her. I love her, always will. But this is more than I can even begin to understand. So, thanks, for not bailing on us. You probably could have, and I really wouldnt blame you if you did, because we might end up being more trouble then were worth. Just be honest, and tell me if you do, cause id like to think we really can held eachother out here. We know a lot of important people, others that are like her. You seem good at this line of work, and id hate to think youre on the wrong side. Hey, check the GPS up front, see where were at. Probably still forest below, but were going west for sure. If you have a general idea where were going, mark off a runwaym or something. Then we can worry about landing there."

Bending over, Francho observed the whole dismemberment. The way Rey had severed her leg seemed not out of pain due to the nature of her expression and possible lack of screaming if she was even capable of screaming, it appeared as if she was cutting off her leg habitual like. Something that was probably comparable to a second hand reaction like moving your hand away from fire or getting away from/killing a disturbing insect as quick as possible. Picking up the tossed machete he could feel a type of wet residue around the handle, and slowly wiped it across his shirt. Of all things too be thinking about, it reminded him of condensation on a glass window. Then again, there were more important things to worry about. Taking Madison's words into consideration, he walked over to the controls of the plane. They were simple enough, he thought while glancing at and referring only to the GPS. The other controls, basically everything else, were complete mysteries.
"We are going....west, suuurree." he mumbled with uncertainty. Turning back towards both girls, he exclaimed "Its only right that we stick around for a while." With hint of confirmation to whether or not they were headed to wherever they were going, Francho finished his sentence with "I never thought I would actually grow to see a sea of fire."
Each window glinted with a reflection of the tons and tons of napalm spread throughout the once cherished and cold land. Glancing through the front windows, a cataclysm of fire could be witnessed as it engulfed much below, endlessly burning everything with haste as the heat rose. Within the sea of flames anything drowned and not a single trace could be returned from the ashes, which seemed like a more environmentally friendly way of permanently killing the un-dead than with a nuclear device, which came as a surprise being that Russia was known for having vast increments of nuclear arms.
