Claypoole moved his custom HK53A3 back out of the way again, and instead quick drew his M93R. About a second later one of the terrorists popped up past Tyson, practically begging to be shot. Claypoole immediately complied right as Tyson signaled, and squeezed the trigger on the M93R twice. The first time he slowly applied pressure, first two pounds, then 3 pounds, 4 pounds... a pound later the M93R kicked back (Not quite snapping as badly as his .460 Rowland, an M1911 on steroids), and 3 rounds were fired accurately downrange into the targets upper body. Knowing the commonality of body armor these days, he let the recoil lead the next shot and merely kept it from going too off center horizontally, even giving it a bit of a boost vertically, and squeezed a quicker double-tap tri-burst out of the gun. The next 3 rounds ripped through his upper neck and chin, causing for a bit of concern as to whether it was enough in the end. Not a lot of concern, but enough that he'd want to confirm the kill.
Check my kill, I got yours.
They didn't need to go both scramble to get up and cross each others fields of fire, nor risk bumping into each other. Claypoole stood up and leaned over his cover, aiming for a moment, before moving up close to confirm Tyson's kill quick had been right on his side. As far as Claypoole could tell, he looked out of the fight, if not dead, but 9x19 didn't quite have this Former-Marine's full trust yet. He gave Tyson's target a quick neck-curb-stomp, and then whispered quietly
Hes down. Think they recycle s**t bags?
Claypoole looks around looking for somewhere to lose the bodies, ignoring the tiny little trash cans and recycling bins scattered about the place. He wasn't even sure if it was worthwhile since there was blood around, but next to no intel was better then a bit of intel. Hell, all they'd know is "Oh s**t, I think someone might have died here man!"... and even then, they don't know if they're dead, zombified, wounded, or what killed them. Could have been a knife, not a hip-fired mini-gun. Might just have to shove em under a desk.

“Down.“ Tyson said quickly and quietly after switching his sidearm to single fire and firing a quick two shots into the back of the downed man‘s head. There was a reason the cliché was ‘two in the head‘. It was a damn sure way to make sure someone was dead. “I’d hope not…” He said to Claypoole, not wanting to think about the literal interpretation of what the former Marine had said. The whole concept kind of freaked him out. He hated hospitals for that kind of thing. One thing he was proud of in his life. In any hospital stay he had ever had in his life, he had had the power to get up and use the facilities on his own. On crutches one time, but still.
As if reading Claypoole’s thoughts, Tyson looked at the bodies and wondered what they could do with them. Seemed like the office they were just hiding in would be a good place. He slid his Glock 18 back into his holster and picked one of the men up in an over the shoulder carry. Walking back to the room, he looked over at Claypoole.
“Police the brass.” He said. It wasn’t much good to hide bodies and f**k with their heads a bit if they saw shell casings laying around. He picked up the second man and laid him behind the best as well, going out to the hall and looking it. It was pretty dark in there. Unless you got a light right under the crack between the back of the desk and the floor, you couldn’t see s***. Perfect.
“Think we should try and call Aya, report in?” He asked. So far, this floor was looking empty. A quick sweep of the other half on the way back to the stairwell and down to the first floor. He didn’t know what they would find there. Reception area, gift shop, more offices or waiting areas, and, god forbid, the f**king morgue. He wasn’t setting foot in that place. On a list of dumb s*** that they could do, he put that as number one.
When the hall was as clean as it was going to get, he waved to Claypoole and started moving back the other way. Looked the same as this side, but they would soon see…

Claypoole grumbles as he gets the sissy job, and starts to pick up the brass. He didn't feel like carrying the stuff out so he could reload it since he wasn't that desperate for brass, and so he merely took it all, broke open a nearby briefcase, shoved them all in there, closed it, and then shoved it away into a desk drawer big enough for it. He placed it backwards so they wouldn't see the forced entry, and would seem unassuming enough it wouldn't warrant a closer look.
Claypoole pulled out his radio as Tyson suggested reporting in, keeping his thumb on the radio gently for a moment, rubbing his thumb over it fidgeting as he made a lame, smarta** remark in the lack of better inspiration.
Awww come on dude, we got this, we don't....
Claypoole started to move away from the casings hiding place, still fidgeting with the radio. As he nearly took another step forward, he suddenly looked down and saw he was about to step in the blood pools, and recoiled back. In the middle of the violent, abrupt, instinctive reaction, he accidentally and unintentionally pressed the button clumsily, and was heard by Aya as saying
f**king need her. D**n, almost stepped in that s**t. Er. Um. Reporting in Maam... requesting orders...?
He had meant to say "we don't f**king need her" before he radioed her for orders, but that didn't work out as planned. He wasn't sure if how much she heard, but he was pretty sure she heard some of it.

)(OoC: Reckon you guys could RP without me for a while? I know the same thing happened with the last operation so I'd prefer you two continued on with the story till I get back into RPing. Just have Aya move along with each of your characters if there's some room moving going on.)(

Tyson looked at Claypoole when he heard the last part of his sentence come on in his radio, and then watched him try to save face by radioing for orders.
“Dumbass.” He said with a smirk. How was a man who had just put a few rounds into a human being, after which curb stomping another to make sure he was dead, get such a violent physical response to almost stepping in a pool of blood. Wow…
“I say we move to the next floor pu*sy cakes.” He said simply. Sounded about right, this one was pretty much empty from what they had seen. And if there were any more patrols, then they may not get as lucky as this time when they ran into them. Could end up with the entire group on their asses. Normally, he wouldn’t be oppose to that, but he wasn’t exactly geared for a normal situation.

Gabriel rushed in with Eva, Shadow following behind. A small group of doctors and nurses were attracted to the commotion. They all helped bring her to a stretcher and move her to an examination room.
"<It's a snake bite, I've given her this for now but she needs help. Her dog caught the one that bit her.>" Gabriel indicated the dead reptile, one of the nurses took it from Shadow.
"<Mamushi, you were right to get her here fast, I'll get the antivenom.>"
Gabe tried to follow but one of the orderlies held him back, followed by a second and third as they struggled against his currently enhanced ability.
"Just wait out here, we'll help her." They explained in english. Gabe conceded watching Shadow sneak past.
"Fine, I'll wait here."

It took several hours for the doctors to finally stabilize Eva. It also consisted of cutting her leg to drain the fluid from the snake bite. In turn they had to stitch it shut as well. When they were finished they placed her in an a room of her own in order to let Shadow roam freely. During the entire time he remained in the corner quite and watching the events unfold as they tended to her. With Eva secured in her bed they allowed the antibiotics, IV fluid, and anti-venom flow freely through her system. When they were finished one of the nurses stepped out to get Gabriel and allow him into the room.
When Gabriel entered the room and sat down in the chair beside the bed. Shadow walked up and placed his head on his leg. It took a couple of hours before Eva finally woke up. She looked around the room taking a moment to realize where she was. Finally looking at Gabriel who sat beside her bed. She felt the tears in her eyes when she seen him, and fought them back. "H- how?" she asked with a bit more struggle then she expected.

Gabe was finally allowed in after the treatment, he picked a chair next to the bed waiting for Eva to wake up, wondering what to say. It was easily solved when she asked the first question.
"Shadow came looking for me, led me to a shrine, found you taking a nap. That's pretty much it, you'll have to ask him for the rest of the story."
He rubbed Shadows head, giving Eva a few minutes to collect herself.
"My turn now, what was that about Rabbit? I told you if you wanted to leave just say and I'd help you out. I found the letter this morning when I went to wake you. I don't know why you act like you don't deserve good things. You've worked hard for everything you got, the festival, the hotel. It's not like it was just handed for free, you were shown a chance to earn something for yourself, and you worked hard for it. Why shouldn't you have something for yourself once in a while?"

Eva looked away from Gabriel as he asked her to explain why she tried to run away. She bit her lip as she thought about how to explain it to him. She didn't know how to explain that she didn't deserve happiness or kindness from anyone. She let out a heavy sigh and closed her eyes. "If I couldn't protect my own sister what gives me the right to have any kind of happiness." She bit her lip again before opening her eyes again. Still she refused to look at Gabriel. "Several times I tried, and every time I had failed. It took complete strangers to save her and give her the life she deserved." She looked at Gabriel fighting back her tears. "If I fail at my responsibility why do I deserve any kind of happiness?"

"Would she have even got to her new family if it weren't for you?" Gabe replied. He'd have to be careful with this, upsetting her further might cause problems with her recovery, or cause her to run off and get hurt again.
"So you made mistakes, the bottom line is you tried again and again until she was safe and away from those monsters who were abusing her. If you really failed she's still be with them."
Shadow walked around the other side of the bed and laid his front legs and chin across Eva's legs looking up at her. This gave Gabriel some time to think of the next thing to say.
"If we asked your sister what you deserved, what would she think?"

Eva sighed a bit as she reached up and scratched Shadow's ear. "She would say she doesn't know who I am," she said lightly. "An as for her finding safety it wasn't with my help. She escaped the hospital on her own and found her new father in Raccoon City. Every time I tried to save her she just ended up back in our parents arms." She shook her head before looking at him. "I'm sorry," she said lightly. "I never meant to be a burden to you. It's just hard to accept any kind of happiness when I couldn't give it to her. I've run away several times from something good. It's hard . . ." she trailed off as she looked back at Shadow ". . . It's hard to be happy. I want it, but it's hard to accept it."

"I'll tell you what, from now on we'll just take it on a day by day basis from now on, we'll go about things as normal and you decide when you want to spoil yourself okay?"
Shadow pushed himself up and gave Eva a lick on the cheek.
"and....well, if you ever want to track down your sister and maybe talk with her. Or even just book some therapy time I think the people at the company can pull some strings."

Eva shook her head as she sat up on the bed. "I don't want to confront her. I don't want to try to bring up those horrible memories she forgot. She's happy so I'm going to leave it like that." She looked back to Gabriel and smiled lightly. "I want to finally be happy like she is. I'm just scared . . . I've never had a good life. I know I work for the money now, but it's not having to work to live." She sighed a bit as she looked down at Shadow as he laid down on the floor. "I guess I'm afraid that once I get settled in that I'm going to lose it all and have to go back to the way I'm living now."
The door to the room opened as a nurse entered with some medication for her. Eva took her medication as the nurse took her vitals. She wrote them down on the clipboard and then exited the room. Eva sighed a bit as she looked back at Gabriel. "An I don't want to go running away through the woods anymore. It hurts to much."
((another day pass))
With the new day the nurse entered the room with Eva's papers getting her to sign them so she would be allowed to leave. While Gabriel took Shadow out to use the rest room Eva took the oppertunity to take a quick shower. When she exited all dressed and ready to go Gabriel and Shadow were returing. "I'm ready to go. I guess I need to get my card back." she smiled lightly as they left the hospital.
