Jay looked up at Fira with tears in her eyes. "It's . . . It's my fault," she said lightly as she pulled the Giddeon's jacket tightly around her. She let out a heavy sigh as she started back to her room but stopped. Her room was also Giddeon's room. She swallowed deeply before setting down in one of the chairs. She didn't look up at Fira, but instead stared at the ground. "Every time we get close . . . every time I end up screwing things up. I get scared," she spoke her words almost in a whisper. She wiped the tears from her eyes, and then looked over at the door that Giddeon had walked through. "I mess up every time . . . I don't know what to do," she said as she looked back down at the ground.
Sighing again she leaned forward resting her elbows on her knees and resting her head in her hands. She let out a heavy sigh before chocking slightly on her tears. "If . . . if I don't do something . . . I'm going to lose him. I'm already running thing . . ." she paused for a moment to gather herself. "My emotions enough are tiring on him, and now this. I just keep making things worse." She looked up at Fira her tears running down her cheeks. "I don't want to lose him . . . I don't know what I would do if I lost him . . . but . . . but I keep getting scared, and I mess us," she cried heavily before burring her face in her hands.

Fira put his arms around Jay and stroked her hair. Looking around he saw that Jay's emotional state was gathering attention. "Come-on. Lets head back to my room." Supporting Jay, Fira walked into the elevator and hit the button for the level her room was on. The level was high enough that they had enough of a wait. "Calm down Jay, breathe steady." She said rubbing her shoulders. "Since I've known you two this is the first fight you've ever had. It happens to all couples. It's a right of passage. Not a good one but one all the same." She then sighed and looked at the numbers go by. Fira already knew what Jay meant by getting close.
"If you ask me it's his own d@mn fault. One day goes by after you get yourself back together and he's wanting to jump into bed. Sounds like he's asking a bit much." She said staightening out the jacket. "Don't worry. You can spend the night with me. This won't last long believe me. I've been in many relationships and have had fights much worse than this. You two will be just fine. Let's just head back to my room, you can cry your heart out and then we will watch some movies or something."

Jay wiped her eyes as the door open. She looked up at Fira with a weak smile. "Thank you," she said lightly as she moved from the elevator. She followed Fira down the hall stopping momentarily at the door that lead to her and Giddeon's room. She bit her lip slightly as she looked up at Fira and followed her on down the hall. Waiting for Fira to open the door she looked back down the hall wondering if Giddeon went to bed or was just sitting there. She let out a heavy sigh before walking into the room, and letting Fira close the door behind her. She walked over to the extra bed and sat down on the edge. Looking up at Fira she wiped away her tears again.
"I- I don't understand," she said her words almost in a whisper. Looking down at the ground she let out a heavy sigh. "it's over, and it's in the past. I want to . . . but . . . but I keep getting scared. I don't know what to do. Ever since that incident . . . I just can't get it out of my head," she said as she looked back up at Fira. She wiped the tears from her face. "I- I never told Giddeon, but . . . but I'm still having nightmares about that night. Even after he falls asleep I end up waking up because of that dream." Shaking her head she coughed slightly before sniffing. "I'm sorry about this."

Fira frowned and pulled out her cellphone. She quickly sent Shadow a text message. 'Jay, my room, 911'. She knew that it would explain everything. They were both getting used to the drama that existed in Giddeon and Jay's relationship. She concidered calling Gina but finally decided against it. Though they were friends now she was still her superior and calling her about trivial matters seemed inapropriate. "Don't worry about anything. This isn't your fault." She replied. "Maybe we should schedual you for a phychiatrist or maybe a hypnotist or something. In the least you should at least tell Giddeon what's going on so he doesn't think it's just him. That would be a major blow to his ego....as well as other things, and guys take those kinda things rather personally." Reaching over she grabbed one of her stuffed animals and plopped it into Jay's lap.
"If you want you can sleep with me tonight. I sent for Shadow, if anything we can have her go and see Giddeon. Those two are like brother and sister." She then smiled remember seeing Shadow leaving the hotspring. "I think her interests require something Giddeon can't deliver." She then snickered to herself.
---------------------------
Giddeon walked into the room, took off his shirt, balled it and tossed it in the corner before sitting on the bed. With a grunt he threw himself onto his back and punched the matress. He didn't understand. He though Jay loved him. He thought she wanted to share things with him. This was feeling almost as bad as a slap in the face. His head was filled with frustration and heartache. Was there something that he was supposed to be doing that he hadn't already done?
Sitting up he rubbed his face and looked around the room. Either way he figured they needed some time apart so Jay could think. He didn't know what he would say to her even if he saw her tonight. It made him shutter knowing by nights end all the women he knew would be upset with him. He was worried about accidentally crossing paths though. Stairing at the dresser gave him a thought. He knew she would avoid the pool at all cost. With this in mind he got changed and got ready to head down to the pool

Jay looked down at the stuffed animal before wrapping her arms around it and bringing it up to hold it tighter. She looked up at Fira just as a knock came at the door. Fira disappeared down the hall, and came back with Shadow following behind her. She looked at Jay and sighed a bit. Folding her arms she leaned up against the wall. "What's up?" she asked looking at Jay. "Not from you," she told Fira as she went to open her mouth. "Jay, what happened?"
"We were up at the shrine," she said lightly. "An we were having fun . . . one thing lead to another . . . and I got scared," she said between her sobs.
"Well stop crying, and get over yourself," she said as she turned to walk down the hall.
Jay just looked at Shadow with tears in her eyes. "Why?"
"Why?" she said as she stopped in the hall. "Because your trying to protect him. Stop it, and start being truthful to him. This relationship goes two ways. He also needs to realize your sensitivity, and the only way to do that is if you actually talk to him about things. For now I'm going to go talk to him. Fira keep her company," she said as she left the room.
Shadow walked down the hall to the room that belonged to Jay and Giddeon. She knocked on the door, but no one answered. She waited a bit before knocking again, and still no one answered. She seen an attendant in the hall and walked up asking if she seen the man that belonged to the room. Finally finding out where he went. She made her way down to the pool to find Giddeon swimming along. She walked over and sat down on one of the chairs waiting for him to surface.

Fira quickly wrapped her arms around Jay to comfort her as Shadow walked away. "B*tch..." She muttered under her breath as she guided Jay back inside and shut the door. "Where the hell did that come from?" He asked critisizing Shadows actions. "I'm sorry, I had no Idea she would act that way. Seriously, the nerve!" Going back she sat Jay back down on the bed and went to the fridge. "Shadow can't respect your situation. She doesn't know what happened. Only you me and Giddeon." She sighed looking at the fridge. "Can't they stock these things? Grabbing a phone she started dialing up some numbers. "Let's order take out. What do you want? We can even get some fried icecream."
Giddeon still hadn't much energy, and with everything rushing through his mind his form was lacking and he was more or less splashing around. When he came to the end he noticed Shadow and sighed. "I was wondering how long it would take before Fira sent someone. Normally I would say I just want to be alone but that isn't exactly true." Kicking up his legs he began floating on his back. "Maybe I wanted you to find me. You know me too well to know I would head straight for water. I don't like this though. The chemicals burn my eyes." He said not wanting to bring up the topic of Jay.
"Couldn't sleep last night. I wasn't sure if it was wanting to see Jay or if I just missed the sound of the waves. Smell of salt water. I never get much sleep on dry land." He then looked at Shadow. "How about you? You manage to get your land legs over the years?" He then looked back up at the ceiling again. "Yeah, I know that's not why your here." He then tried to think of the right things to say. "I'd do anything for her and I HAVE done everything for her. I've kept her safe, I've saved her life....I don't know what else to do." He then began to paddle with his hands to change the view. "This has happened a few times now. So much so that I don't know if I'm percistant because I love her and I want to share everything with her or maybe I'm just like those other pervy b@stards back on base that started drooling over Jay when she....evolved." Letting on a fake smile he tried to crack a joke. "What kind of world is it that you don't become a womans true love after fighting hordes of the living dead in her name?"

Shadow looked at Giddeon and sighed. She leaned forward resting her elbows on her knees. "Giddeon," she said lightly as she watched him playing in the water. She stood up and walked to the edge of the pool before kneeling down. "You are my best friend . . . far more than a brother to me, and I must say my actions toward Jay are a bit harsh. Maybe because I believe you can do better, but that's my job to thank that," she said as she looked out at the water. "Though I'm not hear to tell you what you should do with your love life, but I am here for one thing," she said lightly. "What ever is tearing that girl up in Fira's room you two need to talk about. Jay may not be the best person out there for you, and may let her emotions get in the way of things. But I know that girl loves you to death, and would do anything for you. Right now your best bet would be to talk to her about what is going on, and if she tries to hid it maybe try to bring it out of her one way or another. It's not your doing, but maybe something with that girl." She sighed a bit as she sat back down in the chair. "Though what you do is completely up to you."
------------------------------------------
Jay looked at Fira and smiled lightly. "There suppose to playing a horror moving tonight we can watch it," she said as she moved further back on the bed. "An take out sounds good. You could surprise me with what you order," she said with a weak laugh. She watched as Fira walked off to order the food. Setting the stuffed animal on the bed she proceeded to take her shoes, and then the main portion of her kimono leaving a thin tank top, and her shorts. She climbed onto the bed picking the stuffed animal once more. She looked up at Fira as she walked back into the room. "So do you go to bed earlier?"

"We go to bed whenever you want." Fira said returning to the bed. "Food should be here in half an hour. Got some expensive stuff and simple noodles, we'll see what sparks your interest." She then looked at the tv. "I don't know if you want to talk about it or not but even though you can't commit that far for Giddeon just yet doesn't mean that you can't do something special just to show him you care." Laying on her stomache she began kicking her feet in the air. "Men are easy to please...easy to control too but I doubt you want to do that. You could dress a certain way, play on some of their fantasies too. Just something to show that you arn't completely shutting him out." She then looked over at her. "I don't know what your love life has been like so I can't really give to much advice but just because you had a fight doesn't mean you can't approach him later tonight after you both had some time to think."
----------------------------------
Giddeon layed on the water and began spouting water into the air like a small fountain. "I don't know. I feel I've been understanding. It's just I'm running out of things to say. I can only say so much until we have to admit that it's not just 'our' problem but specifically 'her' problem which I hate to admit." He then swam to the edge and climbed out of the pool. "I keep asking myself what else I could possibly do but I have done everything. In my mind everything is in her court now and she's not doing anything to help the relationship. It's like she wants to preserve it like some fossil, scared to advance cause it might break....and then there is her fears which don't help." He then looked back at her drying off. "I'm heading to bed. Maybe things will be more clear in the morning. Right now everything is fuzzy." Sighing he rested his fist on the door. "When she was infected she couldn't keep her hands off me and now she doesn't even want to touch me. I hate to say this but somethings got to start changing. Her fears are just killing me." He then shook his head. "Like I said. I just need some sleep." With that said he headed out of the pool and back to his room.

Jay sat on the bed looking at the TV before looking down at Fira. "I don't really know what to say," she said lightly as she looked away. "I'm pushing the best thing I have away from me, all because I'm terrified . . . all because of those f**ked up dreams I keep having." She let out a loud sigh before falling back on the bed. Closing her eyes she put her hands over them as well. "I want to talk to him about it, but I keep wondering if he will still love me in the end. Every thing that he has suffered through has been because of me, and now I'm holding him and myself back from furthering our own relationship. I don't know what to do anymore," she said before letting out another long sigh. She sat up on the bed gain and looked at Fira. "Things were so much better before I went all crazy with that damn virus. I don't care much for the powers, and I wish I could trade them for the feelings that made me go all crazy over Giddeon."
----------------------------------
Amy hadn't been inside long before she heard that things were up between Giddeon and Jay. It was almost the talk of the building about Giddeon's show in the lobby earlier. She figured he would have been in his room, but when she knocked there was no answer. What made her surprised even more was that the door swung open. It hadn't been shut from who ever left last. She walked in shutting the door behind her. "Hello!" she called out to make sure no one was there. Once satisfied she walked fully into the room. It was a nice set up for the two, but it also made her a bit disappointed that she wasn't the one sharing it with him. She walked over to the windows and swung open the blinds. Her tight almost to revealing black dress glittered in the moonlight. She turned back to the door hoping that Giddeon would be the one to enter and not Jay.

Tired and beat he shuffled his way back to his room. In the elevator secluded from the world he rested his back on the wall and lightly banged his head against it. Just when everything was perfect for them all of this had to happen. He didn't want to admit it but his actions were as much phisically motivated as well as emotionally. The door pinged and the elevator opened up to his floor and he tried to divert his eyes from the people walking past. He could feel the eyes on him and he didn't appreciate it. The whole thing was a personal matter and he didn't want the world to know his girlfriend wouldn't even let him touch her. Reaching the door he sighed and pushed it open.
As soon as he was in he noticed someone else was inside. Thinking it was Jay he looked down at the ground and shut the door behind him. Exhaling he looked up. "Listen..." He was instantly caught off-guard as he saw Amy standing their. With the way she was dressed it caused his eyes to wander which he soon forced himself to look away with a frown. "What are you doing here? This is in very poor taste. Haven't you let this go? And don't say you're here to check my medical well-being cause I don't buy it." Forcing himself to look her straight in the eyes he gestured towards the door. "Would you just leave. I'm not in the mood for this."

Amy smiled as she looked at Giddeon. Turning away from the window she crossed her arms over her chest rasing them slightly. "I would be lying if I said that was the reason I was here, but I'm not. You don't need that right now." She walked over to Giddeon and put her hand on his shoulder. "I came here because they requested my help for the medical area until they could get some knew help. When I was there I heard about what happened in the lobby, and I was really worried about you so I came to see how you were. When I knocked on the door I found it open. I came in to see if anyone was here, but no one was here," she explained as she turned to move away from him. "All I care about is your happyness, and I can tell right now that your not very happy. Do you want to talk about it?" she asked as she looked back to him.

Giddeon rose his hand pushing her arm away and walked further into the room. He sighed. Amy may have been trouble in the past but at least it was someone to talk to. "It really isn't any of your business okay." He said sharply. "Besides, theirs nothing to say. My girlfriend would rather play with zombies than let me touch her. And now it seems that the entire building knows." He grumbled to himself. "And to be perfectly honest I don't even think you being here could make things worse than they are now." Touching his head to his temple everything became foggy again. Wanting to escape he went into the walk-in closet and began getting dressed.
"Listen, I know you have this whole 'pride' thing or whatever but now's not the time okay? I'm sick of drama, sick of all this conflict and confusion and I really just need to be by myself and blow off some steam. If your going to play teritorial mindgames go play them with Jay, she's in Fira's room. That is if she still thinks I'm worth fighting for. Now please just go okay."

Amy sighed as she sat down on the bed. Shaking her head before looking up at the closent. "I'm sorry if I'm intruding, and no everyone doesn't know about it," she said lightly. "All that they really know is that you lost your cool and threw your close in the lobby," she said as she crossed her legs. "They don't know what's going on, and I only suspected until you just told me. As for Jay I don't really care. Fighting with her is so childesh, and there is no one around here to show off to," she pointed out. She laid back on the bed and streched out her arms. "Gosh these things beat flying in a chopper and four change over. Look I'm here to give you company and cheer you up. If talking is what you want to do then talking we can do."

Putting on some new cloths he sighed. "Whatever, but if Jay comes back I'm not going to hold her back when she attacks." In the closet he started looking over the cloths that got flown in for Jay. "I swear. Sometimes she's just impossible. For the first couple of hours we're in total sink. Then she pulls a 180, backs away and runs off somewhere. If anything I thought I should have at least earned her trust by now. I'm starting to wonder if she even respects half of the things I do for her." Giving up on his quest for nothing he leaned against the wall knowing that in the respect for Jay's wishes he couldn't be in the same room with Amy.
"Sometimes I wish she would fight me like she does those d@mn gouls. At least then she'd touch me without freaking out." He then realized these were things he shouldn't be sharing with her. "Can't even buy her REAL gifts. It's always birthday armor or christmass firearms. Would it really kill her to have SOME normal tendancies?" He then shook his head. "Are you still there?" He practically accused. "Whatever....just hope your comfortable cause I think I'm just going to stay in here for awhile."

Amy smiled as she stood up. She walked toward Giddeon, and wrapped her arms around him. She rested her head on his back, and let out a long sigh. "But you see Jay was never meant for you. She doesn't have all the same interest as you, and she holds you back," she said lightly. Kissing his neck a bit before pulling away. "I on the other hand would love to have a strong capable man in my life. One who treats me better than I deserve. I would ask you to come back to me, but I don't want to pressure you. I want you to be happy weather it's with me or with her. An from the way it looks it may not be with her. You two have been together long enough that everything is finally coming out, and if she was going to change for you it would have been now," she explained. "Trust me I am a woman."
