The three floor building has been over run by the undead and by looters. Some medical supplies may still be here, but it is dangerous to look...

[Jake has entered the hospital]
Aproximately five months had passed since the happenings in Raccoon City with Jake's younger sibling. Since then, Jake had grew up a little more and had spent the remaining months journeying through the states to help any civilian that may have been still alive. There weren't many but he was determined to keep searching. His interior hadn't been as playful or welcoming and his exterior was rough and messy. His hair grew a little more, his clean shaven face has darkened with shadow and his face held some minor scars.
He wasn't the same man he was little while ago.
As he ventured through the hospital, he'd left behind the bodies of two looters who'd been trying to hold him at gunpoint to take his equipment. It wasn't hard to bring them down with his training. There were still undead about and most peculiarly there were those ugly ass monsters that looked like frogs hiding in ceilings and in the flooded basments.
As the man cautiously gripped his shotgun in his calloused hands, he placed one foot infront of the other, the resounding thumps and moans coming from down the hall. The smell had been near sickening but thanks to his prolonged time in hot, smelly, places with undead roaming about, he was use to it.
"Rnngh!"
A zombie had bursted through one of doorways in the lab wing, reaching for it's meal. Jake smacked it back with his gun and spent a shell off into's face, ripping it apart. Another had grasped onto his backside and tried gnawing at him. He stumbled forward and then slammed himself backwards, confusing the undead enough to stun it and force it off.
He cocked his shotgun and spent another shell into the back of it's head. He quickly reloaded and cocked again, glancing around cautiously at his surroundings. He didn't hear anything near by.

[Black Pulls Into Lot]
Black drove through some wooden road blocks and pulled right up to the emergency entrance doors. Having all the lights off he shut the truck down. sitting there in the truck he looked into the dark doors seeing no movement though with how badly over run this place is. On the upper floors this place must be crawling with them. Best thing to do would avoid elevators and stick together. Looking over to Aly he started to think of just what they should do. Chances are the best thing would to work themselves from one end to the other. Seeing that ambulances would be kept at the other end. If it came to it instead of coming back for the truck they get one of them. As well as get extra fuel. If there were any survivors they probably would of headed here as well so they would have to be careful who they met.
"Okay lets go check in."
Grabbing his pack and shot gun Black hopped out of the truck inspected the parking lot. Seemingly empty he made his way towards the doors with caution. Switching on his flashlight he opened the door and entered the emergency room lobby. Checking all the room's corners it would seem that it was empty as he thought. Hopping over the counter he looked at the map of the hospital. From what it seemed critical care was on the second floor. That is most likely where all the medical supplies would be left if any. As well as anyone infected who came in for help. Turning back to Aly he spoke in a soft voice slowly coming back over the counter.
"Looks like we need to head to the second floor to turn this trip into something. We'll grab what we can and leave. I'm not to sure what your job is but if my guess is right your going to want to help the people and find a way to take back parts of this place. In that case we have the same goal for now. Medical supplies to help others and then clearing an air space. So partners?"
Black held out his hand to see if he couldn't get her to talk. To at least understand he can trust her not to shoot him in the back.

The ride to the hospital had been fairly uneventful. The infected of course didn't stand much of a chance to penetrate the firetruck so it had been a secure journey as well. And aside from looking out over the destroyed city scape of the former District of Columbia there wasn't really much to do. She questioned the logic of going to the hospital instead of trying to head just straight out of the city but did suppose they could stock up on medical supplies.
When he stopped in the parking lot and hopped out she followed him. The lot it self was empty, aside from a few abandoned cars here and there. She none the less clicked the safety off her battle rifle and followed him inside to the lobby. Though the floor and walls were covered in bloody handprints and a light somewhere was flickering, it was empty. When he asked if they were partners, she just nodded.

The second floor was deathly silent, except for a single set of footsteps. Darkness lurked everywhere, reaching out and constantly grabbing at Jaks heels as he navigated around the dark musty-scented wards of the hospital. The danger that was keeping him on edge was not worth risking for the sake of a few plasters and some disinfectants. But he lacked the common sense to realise this. He continued down the narrow corridor, following the distinctly colour-coded lines on the wall for his destination. He must be getting close to the ward by now. After passing the elevator again, he started to wonder where he was going wrong. The lines are clear enough, why is he having so much trouble following them?
The batteries in his torch began to flicker. Jak tapped it gently, which made it die. He silently cursed, then stood still for a moment for his eyes to adapt to the new lack of light. He continued slowly down the path, narrowly avoiding an overturned medicine tray. After much tiring walking, he approached the doors to the ward. He reached for the handle, but a silent breath from inside made him freeze inches away from the door. He backed off slowly, gun at the ready, and aimed at the door, just metres away from it. He waited for what seemed like half a minute with the gun pointed at the centre of the large, blood-spewed double doors leading into the pharmacy ward. He slowly lowered his gun, which was a clear mistake, as a zombie charged through the door, catching Jak off guard and sending them both skidding across the reflecting marble floor. He cursed loudly, struggling frantically with the zombie, blood appearing on his shirt. He shouted into the darkness, "Someone, help!"

Black watched as she nodded in agreeing with him and Black put away his hand. This one was going to be harder to get along with then he thought. Though for the most part at least he didn't have to hear her distrust. Switching out his flashlight on his sidearm Cougar Black placed on a dot sight. Switching on the light to his vest he started to make his way to the stairs. His shotgun strapped to his back along side his pack. As he reached the stairs he watched the sides and made his way up just to the door of the second floor. He raised his hand to signal for Aly to stop and peered through the window. Sounds could be heard followed by what instantly triggered Black's body to move. A cry for help. Black reacted instantly forcing the door open and running down the hall way to find someone struggling with a zombie. Raising his gun the dot sight marked the side of the zombies head and with the sound of a shot. The entire head of the zombie would get ripped off. Smoke exited the barrell and the round gently tapped the ground sending a slight ring down the hall. What seemed like forever happend in only a few minutes. Lowering his sidearm Black looked at the man and spoke.
"Are you hurt? Did it bite you?"
Black moved forward and made sure Aly was doing okay. Most likely she was thinking if she should kill this new guy now or something. Though Black was sticking to his code and trying to help. Stepping over the debree on the floor he reached to his back and pulled out a spare flashlight.
"It's dangerous to walk around in the dark. No matter how much your eyes adjust. Black objects will not stand out."
Switching the light on he held it extending his veiw of the dark halls. For now it would seem nothing was drawn to the gun shot. Though that would only last so long. Looking up at the sign in the door it would seem this guy was here for some medical things as well.
"I'm Black and this is Aly. We're looking for a way out of here as well as some medicine. What's your name and are you alone?"
Running into two living people in one day. Was one hell of a turn out that Black never expected. Though one was a scary girl with a gun who didn't talk. Now he knew this guy could scream and walk around in the dark. Hopefully that's not all he could do or else Black may just give up on the human race.

Alyssa took a final look around the blood-drenched lobby of the hospital. It was like something out of a horror movie but then again, so was pretty much everything else she had seen over the past few years. With a small sigh she followed Black up the stairs. She found it amusing that he was taking the lead like that, but she supposed it was what all men would do in this situation. It was pretty much instinctive. He gestured for her to stop and she could hear a struggle upstairs.
She really didn't see what happened next because he took off before she had time to react. All she heard was a gunshot, a cry of surprise and the sound of a body hitting the floor. By the time she arrived on the scene Black was standing over another survivor. Great, just what she needed. She eyed the new man suspiciously, gripping her firearm tight.

((EDITED. Thanks for the invite, Black. ^_^))
Above on the third floor, Jake had heard numerous gunshots coming from below. He grunted and slung his shotgun over his shoulder, trudging back toward the stairs after grabbing onto some pain killers he'd found in a patient's room along with that patient that tried to bite his ass. Literally.
Once his feet hit the edge of the staircase, Jake could hear faint voices coming from down the stairs. "Prolly looters..." he said raspily as he descended the steps. He continued on but immediately stopped when he heard loud clinking noises coming from the vents above. He narrowed his eyes and followed the sounds that neared the group of people.
"f**kin' lickers..." he said, cocking his shotgun with one hand and grasping the body with the other. He pointed the barrel upwards. "Hey! Heads up!" he warned. As if on cue, the ventilation shaft had burst open and some, slimy, pink thing had erected from it's position. Lashing it's claws and tongue out at one of the nearby survivors.

Jak shrugged once again lifeless body off of him, slightly sore and out of breath from the experience. He slowly got up, grabbing his pistol on the way, and sighed, catching a large breath. "Yeah, i'm fine." He looked down at his shirt, blood-stained. "It's not my blood" he said, thankful for that much. He took the torch off the stranger, named Black. "Thanks. And it's Jak. Jak Foster. I need some supplies too." He held up a seemingly empty backpack, except for the sound of empty pill bottles rattling inside. He slung the backpack over his shoulder and held his gun and torch in a tactical way. He wasn't the leading type, he would rather join the crowd and do his small unsaid part in the team. "We should stay together, it will be safer." Without even waiting for a reply, he quickly said, "i'll follow you."
Almost instantly after he finished talking, he heard a voice, but before he had a chance to discover the owner of such a voice, a dripping pink beast dropped down through the ceiling, making a lot of noise. Jak stood in shock, but quickly snapped out of it as it came towards him. He backed away, but it was closing in. All of a sudden a whip-like tongue shot out towards him. Out of instinct, he hit the floor, narrowly avoiding it, and out of chance spotting a new stranger some few metres away. He uprighted himself, aiming the gun at the body of the licker, and fired a shot, watching as the bullet nuzzled deep into the pink fleshy monster, which hissed loudly.

"Well it's good to know your okay."
Black handed over the light and started to look around as he thought to himself. The boy talked and Black listened but had his mind on the manner of what to do with stuff they find. Then it would seem the boy had no trouble working together pretty much inviting himself into the team. Black had a slight smirk on his face as he looked back to see how Aly was doing. Even though Black shouldn't be smiling at this point in time. He couldn't help but find some humor in everything that has happened today.
"Yeah that's fine we could---"
Black was cut off by some movements over head followed by the shouts of another person. Black turned his body to see a monster drop from the ceiling. A licker that was stinking of rotten flesh and blood. Watching the tongue lash out by him he saw it narrowly miss Jak. Taking no time to react Black pulled his shotgun around. Jak fired a round into the licker that seemed to break it's concentration and within that time Black fired off a round almost point blank range sending the licker across the floor. The round hit the bottom of it's face destroying it's tongue and bottom jaw as well as a small portion to it's chest. Just as Black was about to fire another round the sound of marching feet came into ear shot. Turning his head to look down the other hall a mass of zombies started to make there way down the hall.
"We have company! We got to get into the pharmacy area. It's the only place with intact doors. Jak go secure it!"
Black advanced towards the horde of zombies and started to fire off more rounds. Each one pushed a few in front back and even killed some. He wanted to try and by time for them to deal with the licker if it wasn't dead yet. Chances are being no. Seeing that lickers were very durable if not struck in the top part of the head. Slowly backing up back to the doors. Black swung his shotgun back onto his back and started to fire off his sidearm this time only aiming for the head. Now it would depend on the others. The stranger down the hall would be closest to the licker after Black shot it along with Aly. Jak was closest to the pharmacy doors. Chances are there may of been more zombies inside like the one who attack Jak but it would be better then getting over run in a open area.

Jake watched the men handle themselves pretty well. He counted his blessings he wasn't in the graces of pathetic survivors. A twang of amusement had reached his smirking face before the very familiar sounds of the undead made themselves known. Down the hall from where he stood there was a horde of living corpses marching after their prey. The licker hadn't been dealt with as of yet.
As the men before him had took control of the situation, he noticed two of the girls trying to figure out what to do as the licker rolled onto all fours again. Before it could even make a move, it's exposed brain had been ripped into a messy, bloody, grey mess. Jake stood before it, barrels smoking as he cocked the weapon again, sending spent shells aside as he ran up beside the other two men. He took aim and sent off another two rounds, sending a scattering spray effect and knocking the numbers down.
"You wanna waste all of your ammo on these guys?" he asked Black.

This was starting to become a problem in Alyssa's eyes. She didn't trust one survivor much less three to be around her. She had at least been Black for awhile but she had just met these other two people Part of her wanted to just get out now. Or maybe even shoot all of them. But obviously the all had a common goal at the moment and that was to survive, and the old saying did hold true. There was safety in numbers. Luckily the licker had been disposed off before she had to expend her own ammo on it.
That still left the zombies making their way toward them. She popped off a round of semi-automatic fire, dropping one and and knee capping another as they slowly retreated to the pharmacy, as Black said.

Jak watched as the solo stranger took the life of the licker, and then noticed the oncoming wave of zombies in their slow approach. He heard the order from Black, and grunted in reply, quickly getting to work on his part to keep the team alive. Running towards the door, he quickly slammed against the nearby wall, taking a few long breaths, bracing himself for whatever lurks inside. Quickly, he burst through the swivel doors, and disappeared from sight of the group.
Inside the pharmacy, he took a few seconds to survey the room. He counted 4 zombies, two male, one wearing interns' scrubs. He chuckled to himself, the guy reminded him of someone from a TV show he watched. He aimed carefully at the first one, he hoped to make his shots count. After the first shot was fired, 3 of the heads spun round to the source of the loud noise, and one hit the floor. A few more shots, and one case of bad aim, and the zombies were out for the count, however the entire room smelt like aniseed. The smell made Jak want to gag. He shouted out to the others, "Black, Aly, s'all clear!"

Black was firing off rounds at some zombies that approached from down the hall when the other stranger seemed to come around. Not wanting to take his eyes off the matter at hand he stayed concentrated. Though he heard the other man speak to him and Black just gave a slight laugh. It was then his red dot could be seen circling a large fire extinguisher on the wall.
"Nope."
Black fired a round causing the canister that was filled with contents under pressure to explode. It sent a good portion of the zombies falling onto the sides and others dazed. Releasing the empty clip into his hand he pushed in another while putting the empty one away. He heard Jak yell out that the coast was clear and then backed his way into the pharmacy as he saw even more zombies coming to replace the ones he just knocked over and killed. Aly was even firing off rounds to hold them back and they kept coming. Waiting for Aly and the other guy to get in Black would slide a massive desk across in front of the doors to hold them shut. Not wasting any time he pilled on a few chairs and a whole big serving table. Trying to take a moment to catch his breath Black was sickened by the smell of the room.
"Thanks for the heads up."
Black spoke out to the stranger who warned them of the threat of the Licker. Zombies pounded away on the doors but thanks to all the things Black pushed in front of the doors they weren't coming in for a while. Putting his gun back into it's holster Black dropped his backpack on the ground to rest.
"Okay only take what you can carry and it doesn't look like we are leaving the same way we came in."
Black was looking around the room when he realized that the Hospital only had three floors and then the roof. So that would mean the roof wasn't far from where they were. Getting up Black looked out the windows and knew just what they could do. Grabbing a chair next to him he threw it straight out the window. It landed out in the street along with a rain of glass. Reaching into his bag he pulled out his rope and crowbar. He tied the crowbar off to the rope and let his body hang out the window. With a toss he threw the crowbar that was tied off to the rope onto the roof where it was latched in between a two pieces of the edge of the roof. Giving the rope a few strong tugs he found it to be sturdy. Letting go of the rope he sat on the windows ledge trying to get some fresh air.
"It would seem we are all stuck together now. Cause there is no way in hell one or two of us are getting out of here alive alone. So we will have to work together. Whats your name stranger? I'm Black. This is Aly and that is Jak."
It felt weird introducing people he just met himself. Though he knew Aly didn't speak and well Jak was so willing to join the team any way. He didn't think he would care all to much. Black looked at Aly and started to speak again this time with a more calm voice. Knowing Aly she was not feeling comfortable around all these people. It was scary how he would know this even though she never spoke but she had really expressive patterns he watched.
"Aly you would probably be able to make it up the rope the fastest. Think you could go up there and make sure it's secure?"
Black would stand a side for Aly and hold out the rope to her to climp and to get by if she agreed too. Even though she could cut the rope and leave. He had a feeling she at least trusted him. Turning back towards Jak who was the only one with an empty enough pack that he knew who could carry things, he started to speak once more.
"So what you find Jak?"

Jake had been blasting at zombies, picking them off when the other man, Black, had shot at an oxygen tank, creating a small explosion, taking out a good portion of the horde. He cringed as the flames errupted, shielding his face from the burst of heat. Wincing, he glanced over at the man and chuckled.
"Nice. Explosions are always nice," he said as he and the man made their way into the pharmacy. When they pushed the desk up against the doors, Jake heard the man introduce themselves so he shrugged a bit. "Name's Jake. Glad to see you guys are capable of watching your own asses," he told them as he checked the rounds of his pistol. He knew he was out of shells for the shotgun completely.
"Third floor is clear by the way. I made sure of that. Then again, no tellin' what's in the ceilings anymore. From every f**kin' hospital I've seen, there's either lickers or leech monsters struttin about. They're a pain in the ass to kill, obviously."
