Dominique didn't have a problem with dying. She had accepted that long ago, and knew that if she wanted to achieve her goal that death would be inevitable. She looked up at the two groups of undead as they approached them. Drawing her sword she watched as Conner hobbled for the ladder. She had accepted death, but that was only after Jadyen had paid for his betrayal. She looked back at Harrison. "Help Conner get up the ladder." She grinned slightly as the undead approached. Unlike the SWAT zombies at the police department her sword was able to make quick work of undead as they approached. She looked back for a moment finding that Connor and Harrison had already made it half way up the ladder. She quickly followed with sword in hand. Once they were in on the room she sheathed her sword and looked over the roof. "You two know how to throw a party." She grinned as she looked back at them.

Connor grabbed the ladder and pulled himself up. As he got up a few rungs, he dropped his crutches on the ground and began to ascend the ladder, pulling himself up more than pushing with his bad ankle.
At the first landing, he hopped to the second ladder and began to climb that one. He could feel Harrison at his back, but neither said anything.
Finally, at the roof, Connor swung over the edge and sat down on it, pulling the shotgun off his back and aiming it at anything that wasn't supposed to be on the roof.
Luckily, it was empty. Unlike the other roofs, this one seemed to be in good repair... there were no weak spots or holes and the door leading down the stair was a fire door, solid steel in a steel frame. It also had a lock on it.
Dominique joined them. He smiled at her comment.
"Yeah, if it wasn't for all of these uninvited guests, we'd have it made."
By now the area by the front doors and the ladder was swarming with the undead, but none of them could make it up the stairs.
Looking at the next building over, Connor realized it was taller and faces were peering through the windows at them. He just hoped that when they pushed through the glass panes, that the alley was wide enough to have them hit there.. not on the roof.
"Damn it", he muttered. Why was it so fracking hard to get back to his little girl?

The team of soldiers entered into the main gate area of the RCPD. Scattered around the courtyard were bodies of deceased individuals with weapons in their hands. The bodies were covered in teeth and claw marks. The soldiers looked back to see if they were in the clear, and for the moment it seemed so.
"Check the weapons." the commander ordered, as he looked over the front of the building. The decadent Americans showed their further depravity in the design of the building before him. It looked more fit to be a museum than a place of law and order. Once the Union's goals were meet, this sort of luxury would be a thing of the past. Buildings would be practical once more.
The look out team kept it's distance from the others, keeping over watch. The commander knew that they were there, and what their orders were, but to let the civilians know this would be against his orders.
"Comrade Commander," one of his men said, holding one of the discarded weapons. "It seems that these people did manage to open fire...but the ammo was faulty."
"How?" the Commander asked.
"It seems that they were all loaded with blanks."

"Not surprising."
the two soldiers turned to look at Jason, who shrugged. "The chief of police and several high ranking RCPD are in Umbrella's pocket. Umbrella most likely had them switch out their ammunition with blanks."
the closest body suddenly grabbed the soldier checking his weapon, and was about to bite the guy when Jason put a bullet in its head. the soldier backed away, swearing. "Your welcome." Jason said to the soldier, turning back to the ground commander, "best have your men destroy the brains, its the only way to make sure." he went over to one corpse and curb stomped its head, crushing it.
he looked back to the commander and then to the UBCS soldier, "what's the status of everyone's ammunition?"

Lydia checked over some of the other bodies as well, and was shocked to find that they were right, all of the men and women lying around them were carrying blanks. What was this, some sort of test? Or was it just to make sure that these people didn't interfere with what was happening?
"Well, there was a terrible idea. Any chance that the ammunition inside will be real, or maybe the weapons capable of firing? This is just...bizarre."
While she didn't think she had the physical strength to crush skulls with her boot, she took out her knife and slammed it into the side of the cops skull, watching as it sunk deep and destroyed the brain. Just as she was moving to the next one, a fallen cop to her left started to get up, a hungry and glazed look to her eyes.
"Dammit they're moving! Take them out fast!"

The Russians all seemed to give each other a look as they uniformly bolted inside of the RPD, abandoning the two Umbrella soldiers to the fates, laughing the entire time. **************************************************************
The soldiers who had been designated as overwatch for the assignment drew in their breaths. The target was now in a testing zone....along with another companion. Would they be able to pass the field examination? Where they to be even considered? Command had not told them this...but it would still be carried out. No doubt the commander and his men were putting finishing touches on the interior of the RPD, setting up for the show that was about to commence.
The victims of the infection began to stir even more as the commander and his men retreated into the building. While the number of zombies reanimating were indeed a managable number, no doubt the commander and his men would ensure that the two would enter into the RPD. Then, as if to answer their questions, the loud speaker system outside the RPD began to pipe out the glorious anthem of their dear Motherland, before it was corrupted by the capitalists and politicians. No doubt the rousing anthem would draw in an even greater number of infected and mutants. This was going to be a grand and glorious affair.

Jason sighed, this s*** was getting repetitive. Had to admit, the old soviet anthem was a nice touch, something signifying themselves as well as a means to get them to go inside. Whats more, he knew the damn loudspeaker system the RPD had were Military psyop loudspeakers, almost a third or even half the damn city of undead and mutant freaks would be converging on the building the music was so f*cking loud.
he tapped the UBCS soldier on the shoulder, motioned towards the obvious trap, and started moving, his custom Saiga shotgun shouldered.

Lydia didn't need to speak, she knew that they had to get inside the building before things got any worse. Finishing off the closest infected to her with a shot from her rifle, she started backpedaling towards the building and up the steps. The first thing she wanted to check was the armory, and then after that maybe rifle through a few lockers and find some clothing that wasn't covered in Umbrella markings. She knew that it would make her a very unwelcome sight soon.
As they got into the building, she helped slam the heavy wooden doors and barricade them, bringing whatever she could to block the doors and keep the undead out. She didn't know how long they would be holed up here, but she wanted as much of a barricade between herself and the infected as she could make.
"Wonder if anyone else made it in here. Think anyone else survived, maybe hiding somewhere in the building?"
