"Wir haben erhalten ein Berichte auf Bio-Organisch Waffen neben unser Position. Gewehr feuer eingeschworen. Anfliegend zu ermitteln. Delta Gruppe, Ihr Reihenfolge." the Pilot's voice cracked over the beating of the blades.
<We've received reports of a B.O.W near our position. Gun-fire confirmed. Approaching to investigate. Delta Squad, your up.>
"Scheisse" grumbled a series of men sitting next to Delta Squad.
The Bundeswehr Captain chuckled,
"Senden der Waffen-Handler mit Delta."
<Send the Arms-Dealer with Delta.>
"Was? Warten ein Zweite, Ich bin nicht ein Soldat." said Matthias, here he thought he was catching a ride, now apparently he was being thrown into the s***.
<What? Wait a second, I'm not a soldier.>
"Aber du weißt wie ein gewehr zu grebrauch, ja? Was ist die Problem? Aufgeshreckst?" said the Bundeswehr Captain.
<But you know how to use a gun, right? Whats the problem? Scared?>
"Nein, Ich einen Kater haben. Aber Fick es, Ich will scheiß einige Zombies fur Scheiße und Kichkert." said Matthias.
<No, I'm hungover. But f**k it, I'll shoot some Zombies for s***s and giggles.>
All the men chuckled,
"Zombies sind irgendwo, wir nicht ermitteln bis es ist etwas schlechter, und normalerweise größer mit mehr Hauer." said the Delta Soldat next to him.
<Zombies are everywhere, we don't investigate unless it is something worse, and usually biter with more teeth.>
Matthias sighed and loaded his weapons.
Twenty Minutes LaterThe helicopter flew over the area, scouting around briefly before the Pilot saw a suitable LZ.
"Ihr habt Luftnahunterstützung und Absaugeanlage bereit im Funfsig minuten. Bis dann, Ihr sind allein." the Pilot said.
<You'll have air-support and EVAC ready in fifty minutes. Till' then, your on your own.>
"Gott Verdammt." hissed Matthias, this seemed a tad more serious then his liking. He'd been in more fire-fights then he could count and it took more than a few corpses to startle him. Still, he wasn't in the mood for this lethal flavor of Government bulls***.
He grabbed the drop-rope first (as he was the closest to the door), followed swiftly by five Bundeswehr Soldiers. All four armed with the standard G36s with the exception of one a carried a G22 sniper rifle on his back.
Matthias and the soldiers exchanged pleasantries as they began to survey the area.
"Anständig, Handler du bist mit Pvt. Zohler. Nur bewachst sein Rücken, und nicht tot oder versauest. Verstanden?" said the Squad's Sergeant.
<All right, Dealer your with Pvt. Zohler. Just watch his back and don't die or f**k anything up. Got it?>
"Natürlich." said Matthias.
<Naturally.>
"Gut, lass nur macht dies schnell." said the Sergerant as he departed with the three soldiers.
<Good, lets just make this quick.>
Matthias and Pvt. Zohler began walking to a small hill where as to better cover the trio of Bundeswehr soldiers. Matthias casually light a cigarette and followed the sniper, his Kurz Assault rifle at hand. A day ago, his biggest problem had been worrying about dirty Egyptian
Dirnen and a lack of liquor. Now if he a saw a walking corpse, hell bent on eating him alive, it'd be a relief.
Matthias watched the trio begin patrolling the area through the binoculars while Pvt. Zohler set up his rifle.
"So, woher kommst du?" asked Matthias, watching the soldiers and mentally commenting that one of the soldiers marched in quite the feminine manor.
<So, where ya' from?>
"Leipzig, aber Ich war im Genf fur etwas wie sieben jahren vor dies." replied Pvt. Zohler.
<Leipzig, but I was in Geneva for something like seven years before this.>
"Ah, Schweiz, warum ist das?" asked Matthias, noting a pack of cigarettes under the belt of one of the three soldiers, 'So if he asks for one...' he made a mental note not to bum him a cigarette. He'd made sure not to show them to the larger group for the fear of having to give the whole class some squares.
<Ah, Switzerland, why's that?>
"Mein Anwaltskanzlei abrücken auf dort. Ich entsprache ein Madel, und Dinge geht von dort. Zwei kinder und ein Frau auf Genf jezt." said Pvt. Zohler, now taking position with his sniper-rifle.
<My law-firm moved there. I met a girl, and things went on from there. Two kids and a Wife living in Geneva right now.>
"Ah, zwei-kinder." said Matthias, he opened his mouth but closed it, he hadn't checked up on the status of Germany till he got here, it's neighbors hadn't even come to mind.
<Ah, two kids>
"Warum kommst du zu Deutschland dann?" asked Matthias, happy with his re-wording.
<Why'd you come to Germany then?>
"Schweiz sich aufgehalten nach der erst Ausbruch. Wenn ein Flugzeug kommt fur Schweiz, es muss eine Wrackgut im das Alpen anfagen. Nach ein kurz Hause-Quarantäne, alles war normal noch einmal. Aber Ich kann nicht steht dort wenn Deutschland war auf Flamme." said Pvt. Zohler, watching over his squad-mates.
<Switzerland was still paranoid after the first outbreak. If a plane came for Switzerland, it must have crashed in the Alps. There was a House-Quarantine for a little, but everything pretty much went back to normal after that. But I could not just stay there when Germany was on fire.>
"Nachvollziehbar." said Matthias, taking a long drag of his cigarette.
<Understandable.>
"Was etwa dich? Du war einige Waffen oder Droggen Handler, richtig? Und Ich gehört du war in Raccoon City wenn es alle begonnen. Irgendwie Ich denke Ich soll sein das mann wer fragen fordernd." said Pvt. Zohler.
<What about you? You were some weapon or drug dealer right? And I heard you were in Raccoon when it all started. Somehow I think I should be the one asking the questions.>
Matthias chuckled slightly, he wasn't accustomed to being asked about his past "Ja. Es ist ein lange Geschicte, aber ja. Ich war in ein Russenmafia fur einige zeit, Ich war geboren im Ost-Deutschland, dann das kommt zu ein blutig halt. Nach das, ein Ding kommt zu ein andere, und irgendwie es war in das Stadt wann alles geht zu Höhle. Ein Peck, ja?"
<Yeah, it's a long story, but yeah. I was in the Russianmaffia for some time, I was born in East Germany, then that came to a bloody end. After that, one thing came to an other, and somehow I was in the city when everything went to hell. Some luck, right?>
"Ja, dies ist kein Picknick, aber wenigstens wir weiß was wir steht gegen. Wie alt war du dann?" asked Private Zohler.
<Yeah, this is no picnic, but at least we know what we're up against. How old were you then?>
Matthias took a drag on his cigarette, thinking.
"Siebzane - Achtzane. Ich nicht gerade gedenke." said Matthias.
<Seventeen - Eighteen. I don't remember exactly.>
"Heilig Scheiße mann. Ich war scheißend selbst an zwei und zwanzig das erst Zeit Ich seehe jene Kreaturen." said Pvt. Zohler.
<Holy s*** man. I was s***ting myself at twenty-two the first time I saw some of those creatures.>
"Well, Ich gehabt gesehen mehr als ein bisschen auf einige beschissen Situationen. Leuten sterbend von Hungern, getötet fur kein Grunde, verwundet Kinder ziellos umherschweifend. Ich gedacht das nichts werde geht tief mit mir. Aber Ich nie gedacht das Leichen werden versuchen zu essen mir beide. Niemand tut." said Matthias.
<Well, I had seen more than a bit of some f**ked up situations. People dying of starvation, killed for no reason, wounded children aimlessly wandering. I thought that nothing could really get to me. But I never thought Corpses would try to eat me either. Nobody did.>
"Gut punkt. Sagend aus welche." Pvt. Zohler said, firing his sniper-rifle.
<Good point. Speaking of which.>
Matthias pulled up the binoculars to try to find a kill. Sure enough a dead zombie lied with it's head split a good ten meters from the trio of troops. Truthfully the poor sonofab*tch probably didn't even see the soldiers, but the only good leg-dragger was a throughly dead one.
In the distance however, Matthias made out a few more shapes as cloud-cover shifted. There appeared to be a vehicle on the side of a dirt road.
"Dort ist ein beschädigt auto neben ein Dreck Straße. Konnen sein Militär." said Matthias to Pvt. Zohler, who quickly repeated the information on the radio.
<There is a damaged car near a dirt road. Could be military.>
"Verstanden. Gehen sie neben das pflatz. Wir wollen macht die Eingrenzung sicher und flankieren das Position. Ich will radio HQ zu senden Sanitäterin. Keine brisant Granate. Grebrauch nur Tränengas Granate wenn wichtig. Jezt geht, schnell." ordered the Bundeswehr Sergeant.
<Understood. Go near that area. We will secure the Perimeter and flank the position. I will radio HQ to send a MEDVAC. No explosive grenades. Use gas grenades if necessary. Now go, quickly.>
"Jawohl, in Bewegung." said Pvt. Zohler.
<Yes sir, moving out.>
"Lass geht, schnell. Es konnen sein verwundet Soldaten uber dort!" said Pvt. Zohler, hurriedly putting away his sniper rifle and taking off.
<Lets go, quickly. There could be wounded soldiers over there!>
Matthias sighed and threw down his cigarette bud, stamping it out on the hill before taking off after Pvt. Zohler. "Ja, verwundet Soldaten. Oder essend Untiere." said Matthias under his breath, as he locked the blade setting onto his combat knife and readied his assault rifle.
<Yeah, wounded soldiers, or eating monsters.>
Sprinting across a field toward possible gruesome death Matthias felt his adrenline pounding. In the back of his mind he couldn't help but hear his father's voice saying "See son, this is how good Prussians get high."
"Fur Geld, Blut oder Vaterland. Lass uns sieht was Gott beabsichtigt." thought Matthias to himself as the wreckage grew closer and closer.
<For money, blood or Fatherland. Let us see what God intends.>
"ACHTUNG! BUNDESWEHR! IDENTIFIZIEREN EUCH!" yelled Private Zohler as the duo took cover behind two trees on the outskirts of the forest, hiding their immediate position. Private Zohler readied a revolver.
"ZEE GERMAN ARMY IS HIER! IDENTITY YOURSELVES! VE ARE HERE TO HELP!" shouted Matthias, reading his assault rifle and peering out of cover.
((Wow, nothing sounds more comforting then ZEE GERMAN ARMY IS HIER. lol))
