Alex stirred slightly in the seat as Jason worked on the collar. There was a slight buzzing sound that came after a minute of working on the collar. Alex twitched slightly before letting out a gasp. Her body tensted as she opened her eyes. For a moment she looked at Jason as if she was ready to kill him, but then her eyes softened as she looked at him. Blinking several times before she actually reconized what was going on.
With Jason's help she was able to sit up straight. Looking around the snow covered area she found that they were alone. That she could actually feel the cold Russian wind. She looked at Jason and smiled tiredly. "Thank you so much," she said lightly before looking past him. "What happens to me now?" she asked before looking back to him. "I have no where to go. I don't even know what happened to my father."

“Your in luck, there.” Jason said. In a matter of speaking. “I’m trying to find him.” He said. He didn’t tell her what he was trying to find Jonathon for, and it would be better that way. In the end, he’d set her loose. He didn’t want the sins of the father to bleed out onto the daughter.
“There is a settlement up here, we’re going to stop for some supplies.” He said. They didn’t have any food or water or any of that. And he was going to get something for Alex to wear that wasn’t issued by Sincell.
“How are you feeling?” He asked her. He was trying to disable the mind control chip on the collar, but allow her to keep it so she could still use it to take her medication.

Alex looked out at the empty space ahead of them. Real food sounded good. The junk that she was allowed to eat at the base didn't even fill her most nights. "A stake sounds good about now," she said with a laugh. She felt a painful shock that coursed through her body she stiffled a cry and after a minute the pain went away. She reached up with a shaky and stopped him from touching the collar again. "Please stop," she said lightly as she turned to him. "It's giving of a powerful shock. It's starting to hurt." She paused for a moment in thought and then looked back to him. "You have the other control. Why don't you re-wire it to only be used from your control?"

Jason nodded and flexed his hand, having gotten shocked just as she had. He had gotten it second hand, however.
“Good idea.” He said, pulling out the remote and pressing a few buttons. With some creative edits to the programming, he was able to cut out signals to the collar. All remotes would work just fine, but the collar would only respond to his commands. Until a programmer more clever than himself got to it.
“Its for the best. That thing is feeding you your medications. Which…” He stopped, pulling out one of the tabs from his pocket. “…I liberated from the laboratory technician.” He said. He motioned for her to lean in so he could close the door, and then walked back to the driver side.
“We’ll be at the outpost soon. I would suggest you wait in the car while I try to find you something to wear.” He said. He doubted he would find her size, she didn’t look like she had an ounce of fat or muscle on her.

Alex adjusted herself in the seat as Jason drove off down the road. She looked out at the snow covered plain and smiled a bit. "It feels weird to be able to look at the snow through my own eyes. For so long I've felt like nothing but a shell." She let out a sigh before leaning back in the seat. "So long there, and he never came looking for me," she mumbled to herself as she looked down at the floor board. She fell silent in thought as Jason continued to drive. She never even realized that they had reached the town until the car came to a stop.
She looked up at the small town, and the prying eyes of the people who lived there. "They don't seem to get many visitors here," she said lightly. She looked around before looking at Jason. "I can go with you if you want. Though we get real food after this," she said with a grin. "My stomach is telling me it's hungry."

“Probably not.” Jason responded when Alex said the people here probably weren’t used to getting visitors. He got out of the car and waved to them when the looks turned out to be general curiosity instead of scrutiny. A man came out, probably one like at the last outpost to warn them off when Jason reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out the symbol the old man from the last outpost gave him. The man stopped in his tracks and let out a slight nod, waving them into the compound.
Inside, it looked like an old fashioned market. Stalls were set up inside, people were peddling wears of all kinds. There were makeshift buildings further at the back. He could only imagine things like sleeping quarters, maybe a clinic, were housed there. He spotted a man in a stall covered with clothing, and he motioned for Alex to follow.
“Pick something out.” He told her.

Alex looked up at Jason and then to the cloths that were avalable to pick out. She laughed slightly as she held up a shirt.
"The cloths that you see are all that we have due to our situation. There all handmade, and I would appriciate it if you could show more respect to the people who made it," the man said as he looked at Alex. The look on his face one of distate and distrust.
Alex smiled at him, and the worker as she sat down the shirt. "I do appologize for laughing, but you shouldn't make assumptions." She turned to glare at him. "The only reason why I was laughing if you should know. Is that no matter the size I pick out . . . if you haven't noticed . . . wont fit me properly." As he opened his mouth to say something she shurgged him off and walked off to another area of clothing.
She shuffled through the cloths before she finally picked out the cloths that would be the closest to her size. She walked back to Jason and held them up. "I like these." As he nodded she walked off to where she could change, and then quickly returned. The shirt she had stuffed into her pants, and had to cut out another notch in her belt in order to keep her pants up. She had the ends rolled up so they wouldn't drag the ground. The shoes she was happy to find in her size, and the coat wasn't to bad off. She held up her other cloths for Jason to see. "What do you want to do with these?"

“Probably wouldn’t be good to give in for trade value.” He said, looking at the set she had. They were a bit too modern, a bit too combative. If anything, she could save them and use them for a future occasion.
“Take them back to the car, I’ll find you something to eat.” He said. The person working the clothing stall didn’t say anything as they both walked away. Probably happy to get rid of them. He watched her walk toward the car, watching her until she left his line of sight. He wasn’t worried about her getting hurt. No, he was more worried about her getting into trouble. Even unintentional trouble. Like defending herself from a group of raiders or thugs. That would blow the whistle on them both very quickly.
He walked to what looked like a food stall, ordering a few steaks for them. When he thought on it, he got two more. He was betting she would be hungry. Very hungry. Paying with a few odds and ends from his briefcase, things that were no longer useful to him but could be useful to someone else.
He took the food and started back toward the car, knowing that the less time they spent there the better.

Elijha stood outside of the car waiting for Jason to return. She bounched a little impatiently on her feet as she watched the door. Though it was more for worry as she looked around to see the prying eyes of the people around her. It had been so long since she was actually able to control herself, and in a situation like this the nervous feeling was driving her up the wall. When she seen Jason exit the buildig with several plates she was happy not only to see him, but for the food as well.
"Oh thank you so much," she said with a grin. "I was starving." She took the plates and opened the first one up. "Oh steaks. Yum. Great now my mouth is watering," she laughed slightly. She sat down in the car and sat one of the plates down in the floor board. She held herself back as she started eating her fist plate. She looked up at Jason as he walked to the drivers seat. "Sorry about in there, but it makes me mad that people assume things."

“I know the feeling.” He responded. He didn’t like the assumptions that people made. Funny, sometimes people got them right. Sometimes they pegged him for a hitman right off the bat. Sometimes, they couldn’t be more wrong about him. It was a mixed bag.
“Now. I need something from you.” He said, looking at her from the drivers seat. “I need you to tell me where the last place you saw your father was.” He said. “You know your father, and you know how difficult he can be to find.” He said. Hopefully he could avoid telling her why he wanted to find Jonathon. But, if he couldn’t, he wasn’t sure how much it would matter. Unconditional love would only go so far. If he had to, he still had the remote. He could control her, though he didn’t want to. He knew what it was like to be at the beck and call of someone, to follow orders to a T even if he didn’t want to. He didn’t wish that one anyone. Especially one of the few people that he could call a friendly associate.

Alex paused in the middle of her second steak in order to think about Jason's question. She sighed a bit as she thought more about the reason he wanted to help her find her father, and the past between her father and Jason. "You want to kill my father, don't you?" She paused for a moment, but then continued without letting him say anything else. "It's okay. I remember the history between the two of you. An if he can't seem to find his place between good and bad he needs to be stopped." She covered up her plate and sat it back down in the floor.
Loosing her appitite for what she was about to say. She knew they were family, but something had to be done. If he continued to go at the rate he was he would destroy a lot more than Umbrella or what ever organization is in the run today. "I will help, but I wont help you kill him," she said lightly. "I know he has more places, but I know of two. One is a hidden lab in the Raccoon sewer system, and the other is in Egypt."

Jason looked at Alex when she asked if he was going to kill her father. He suppressed a sigh for a moment and looked at her.
“Yes.” He answered her simply. She seemed to take it well enough. She knew what kind of man her father was. She knew he had gone off the edge, she knew that he had to be stopped. But, Jason would be a liar if he said he was doing this for the good of the world. No, it was personal. He had an intense hate for the man, and he was going to make sure payback found its target if it was the last thing he did.
She told him that she wouldn’t help him in the deed itself, and he nodded solemnly. He hadn’t expected her to play a part in her father’s death. He couldn’t say he knew how she felt, he had never had a family of his own. But he could understand it. It almost surprised him for a moment, that she wouldn’t want payback of her own. Or at least a moment to speak to him. To ask him why he hadn’t come to save her from those people, why she hadn’t even heard from him in all of this time…
“Yes, I remember them both. I’ve checked them recently, as well as the apartment in London. None of them showed any signs of being inhabited in quite some time.” He said. “Do you have any other ideas of where he could be?” He asked her.

"He freed me," she spoke softly as she looked out the car window. She then turned to look at him with a sad smile. "I know what your thinking." She looked back out the window. "As much as he did to me. I could never hate him. He is my father, and in the end. He freed me. Weather it be for is own personal gain or for love he freed me." She turned to look down at her uneaten food and sighed again. "I do want to ask him one question. I want to know out of all the times he's rescued me before. Why didn't he rescue me this time?"
Alex shifted in the seat a bit before settling back down. She ran her hand along the collar before letting her hand rest in her lap. "I don't even care that I have this curse. All I wanted is for him to stay with me. To actually be a father, and to take care of me when I got sick." She fought back her tears as she thought of Jonathan. "I have no idea where else he would be. If I did go places I was either drugged or blind folded. I can't remember them. I'm sorry."

“Don’t be sorry.” Jason said, looking over at her. There was no reason to think that she would actually know where the majority of his hideouts were. Leave it to him, to treat his own flesh and blood like he did.
“I may be one of the few people in the world who knows what your going through.” He said. “I’m about to tell you something that no living person in the world knows. I am not completely human. I was engineered from infancy, created as a killer from the time I was born. I have no parents, no family, I never had anyone care for me unless I was their project.” He told her. He didn’t know why he was telling her this, but it felt nice to tell someone. His fingers absent mindedly rubbed the beads of the rosary on his wrist, the cross locked in his palm.
“I promise you, you will get your chance to speak with him.” He told her. It was the least he could do, after telling her that he was going to kill her father.

Alex was a bit taken back by Jason's comment. She was able to tell when people were infected, but through all the time that she had known him. Never once was she able to tell that he was not completly human either. She looked him up and down, but still couldn't see what she seen in others. Though she didn't doubt him. The way he put up with her father, as well as her when she had her violent out breaks. They could have killed him . . . she could have killed him, but he kept walking away un hurt. She never seen it until now. What she did to him no human could survive.
"That explains a lot," she said with a soft smile. "Well I'm glade, or you wouldn't still be here." She turned to look out the window. "An I thank you for everything." She looked back at him and grinned.
