Liam went to cock an eyebrow at her answer but before he could, she had her answer already lined up. She ran a militia which was empowered by the military. That was news to his ears and he knew everything that went on in the city. Almost everything. He turned to her and responded to her offer of an empty room. "It is totally safe?" When she nodded he let out a smile. "Well then I would love to sleep in a bed without worrying about being eating or shot." He said to Lilly. As after he said that she asked him to follow her inside to check the armory. He had already checked it and the only thing he found was a months old corpse.
"Sorry Lilly but I already checked the armory and the only thing I found was an old corpse." He told her as he stood by the door of his truck waiting to follow the armored truck back to the hotel.

“It is probably more safe than most of the surrounding areas. We have our attacks and some of those BOWs are a real pain, but we have enough in the way of firepower to deal with them. If we need help, we can call on the military and they will usually send some flyovers with Apaches and Blackhawks.”
When she heard that the armory here was depleted, Lilly slumped her shoulders and sighed. “Well, it was worth a try. I guess thanks are in order. I don’t have the risk the life of my men to check on it now. Let’s check out the last two cars and then get out of here. Every moment we are here, the more likely the undead will find us.”
As if to underline the importance of her statement, a faint moan came from deep within the parking garage.

Liam whistled as Lilly explained all of the special things this militia was given. It was surprising that he had never heard of the militia since he knew about almost everything in the town. He had heard of groups who claimed to be a militia but were simply a group of guys with guns. They usually were people best avoided.
When she asked for his help going inside the garage once more he was about to agree when he was cut off by the moan of a zombie. "And that is the end of this round. We should just leave. I will follow your truck back to the hotel?" He said as he waited near the open door to his truck.
