The room is nothing but a large storage room. There are stacked boxes piled neatly in the far right corner with a long white sheet drenched over them, dust caking the outside. The two sides of the room, east and west, have cabinets lining the top near the ceiling. Rows of empty chemical bottles and dusty beakers as well as glass test tubes and phials are stacked plainly within the dust and grime-colored glass cabinets. The ground is caked heavily with dust and the ceiling pretty much consists of four or five huge vents used for ventilation of dangerous chemicals.

Katie inserted the card into a door far down the hallway, stepping softing in as it opened. Looking at first glance, it seemed to be a warehouse of some kind, but it was the biggest shed ever seen. Thousands of boxes lined the walls, marked the floors, all containing different lables. Judging by the names, and the location they were obviously in, she made the assumption this was the storage facility of chemicals used by Umbrella.
Pulling out her camera, Katie began to take snap shots of some crates, the ones she beleived might have a corilation with the whole incedent. However, there was no evidence to prove that, but she for the record, this is where everything came from. "This is insane, isnt it? I mean, everything is so old!" After walking all the way past the doorway, it collaped behind her, causing her to jump a bit. But she realized that the keycard was on the other side of the door. They were stuck in here, unless they found a way to open the huge doors leading outside. "S***! Im sorry..."

Jake had glanced back at the door that zipped closed. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair and over his face, then massaged the bridge of his nose. Now how were they gonna get out of this mess? Shaking his head he laid a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry too much. We'll figure something out...Until then let's find something to do that with. Stay close though. Never know when one of those leech things'll come back," he told her, walking up ahead with his shotgun tightly in his grip.
The place was pretty messy and disoriented. There was a faint smell in the air that he couldn't quite put his finger on. It was almost like gasoline but not. Scowling he swore under his breath.
"We better not let off any rounds anytime soon. You never know what the hell are in these bottles...orthe air.." he trailed off, wrinkling his nose.

Katie dropped the camera from her neck, and then put her .45 away in her back holster, brushing against the secondary 9mm in her pocket. Picking up her camera and tapping the screen just as the idle screen showed up, she looked through the photos she had taken. They were all organized into folders, depending on the date and time they were taken. After capturing a few more frames, she went into heat vision, and scanned for a vent or something to get outside. It would show the cold from outside if there was an opening, especially with all of this thick gas inside the area.
Suddenly, the battery icon started to flash, it was low. "s***... My battery is low, dammit!..." Flicking off the camera, Katie tucked it away, and then looked at Jake. He probably thought she was stupid caring so much about her camera at a time like this, but capturing all of this was equally as important in her mind. They would have to get back to her vehicle on the streets back near the apple in. But that would have to wait until they were out of this place.
Walking over to one of the crates that didn't have anything stacked onto of it, Katie took out her small pocket knife, and pried open the lid as much as she could, but she would need help getting the whole thing off. She was a little scared of what she would find inside it, but was all the more curious. "Hey Jake, come help me get this open, will ya please?"

Jake shota glance at Katie before turning his body around towards her and making his way over. He pulledout his combat knife and started digging onto the lid and with alittle force, they popped it open. Carefully removing the lid, he was a little taken a back of allthe things and he'd expected to find, this just wasn't one of them.
Reaching in, he pulled out the heavy, white powder filled bags. Slicing one open, he stuck a finger in it and licked it. Chuckling he looked back at Katie.
"I'll give you one guess as to what this is..."
Not only were they messing with chemicals but someone had been smuggling via storage handling. He was prettey sure the major company had nothing to do with it. They might have just had unknowingly hired a pusher.

"...Coke? Well thats just what we needed..." Katie, shook her head, it was hard to believe that these boxes were filled with drugs. It was a little risky for Jake to taste test something in a crate, but he wouldnt have done it if he wasnt damn sure what it actually was. Then suddonly, Katie dropped the lid when she heard a noise coming from the crates behind the ones she stood in front of. Her instinct was to pull aim the gun toward the sound, but she knew she would be able to fire without a chemical explosion.
Jake was already in position with his combat knife, quickly and skillfully drawn after the sound. He was ready to fight, while Katie was backing away into the open area of the storage room. She could still hear the odd sounds behind the crates, but couldnt tel what it was. Wether it was another one of those crawler things, or just an infected was a complete mystery until it showed itself. Katie looked over at the crates behind them, and saw that they lead up to a window. It was just a matter of moving them in place, then they could climb out. Then out of the silence, a reptillian growl seeped though the air. "Jake, we should... Get out of here..."

Jake cautiously backed away, his combat knife positioned in such a way, he'd surely be able to handle himself. Unfortunately, he was pretty sure he wasn't skilled enough to kill that ugly thing with a damned knife.
"Uhh, Katie, if we don't make it out....Don't start snappin' f**kin' pictures while I'm getting my face ripped apart," he joked, glancing at her from the corner of his eye.

"Just run!" Katie screamed. Turning from the creature that stood 6 feet, she ran all the way across the warehouse toward the stacked boxes, and then leaped on top of one. She probably wouldnt have been able to pull this off if it wasnt for the extra boost of adrenalin, but it was like a force pushed her upward. Rolling onto her back, and breathing heavily, she instantly got back up and jumped for the next crate.
By the time she was on top of it, Jake had climbed up with her. He was much more athletic then she, so Katie knew he would be faster. She could see the creature already on the crate below them, and then she had an idea. As Jake jumped up to the next crate, he leaned down to pull her up. Katie jumped and held on tight, but she also kicked off the side of the bottom crate. It fell onto the creature, knocking it onto the ground again. As Jake pulled her up, she breathed again. "We should- Look around for something to climb to..."

Jake nodded and darted his eyes around for something, anything, that they could jump on to evade the , tall, green and scaley. That's when he spotted the crane just a bit away. He looked at it and then back at Katie. There was a chance one of them would get the wind knocked out of them, but it was a chance they'd have to take.
"Katie! Jump on the crane and climb into the seat! You're agile enough to do that, I'm sure!" he told her, manuevering around the woman. He shifted his stance a little and readied his combat knife as the monster began to catch up.
"I'll handle things, just go!" he yelled. Katie hesitated for a moment. She didn't want to leave Jake but he seemed like he had things under control. Trusting Jake's insitincts she gulped and leaped towards the crane, reaching her hands out and grabbing ahold of the thick, rope.
Once she latched onto it, Jake saw the reptile monster leaping at him with brute force pushed in the effort. The man ducked beneath the sweeping claws but unfortunately was still smacked against it's torso as they both went flying off the crates.
"ARGH!" he yelled, reaching an arm up and grabbing onto the edge of the crate. He was pretty high up and if it wasn't for the crates being stockied with whatever tubs of chemical was inside, surely the crates woulda tumbled down sooner.
The man struggled to pull himself up and when he finally did, he laid on his back, one arm on his stomach, the other dangling off the side of the crate. He coughed raspily and quickly hissed, pulling his arm up and noticing a large and very wide scrape on his arm. It looked pretty nasty with croken skin and some mild bleeding.

Katie climbed along the side of the crane, shuffling her way toward the main seat. She noticed how the view from way up here wouldve made a great photo opportunity, but she had didnt have time to fiddle with her camera. Finally reaching the station, she swung herself around into the seat, and then turned on the crane. Or so she hoped would be the on switch. As the motors started to move, she screamed, and then realized she was leaning on the angle bar.
Flinching toward the back, the bar moved back with her, and a crate that was attached to the hook had started to swing to the right. She gasped and looked down, seeing it just miss Jake by inches, but strike the creature in a direct hit. As it made contact, the crate crumbled ontop of it, spilling some kind of blue powder onto it. It growled out in obvious pain rolling all over the floor, blindly attacking the air. As the rope swung back, Katie focused on the bar, and then pushed it in the opposite direction. "Grab the rope!"

Jake quickly hurried to his feet and then leaped off the crates that began to shake beneath his feet. As they toppled over, the man grasped ahold of the rope and was swung harshly to the right as the crates beneath him had came crashing down ontop of the tortured monster.
Large amounts of dust andperhaps chemicals had rushed through the air, forcing the two to draw in deep breaths to avoid breathing anything in. Jake kepthis eyes shut tight as he held on for dear life. When it was seemingly clear he opened his eyes and began to climb upthe rope, to the metal pillar of the crane and made his way ontop ofthe station Katie was seated in. He was beginning to lose the precious air he'd gathered when he grabbed onto the edge of the roofand looked down and into the area Katie was.
Hiding his nose and mouth inside of his shirt, he took in some air and sighed. "You alright?" he asked, his voice a little muffled.

Her eyes couldnt really be helped, but the fumes didnt effect them as much as her lungs. Using her jacket, she breathed inside of it, scrambling for something else around the crane. There was a box of face masks, only two of them remained. Grabbing them, Katie tossed one to Jake, and then slipped hers on. It worked well. "Yeah, im fine... Just..." She closed her eyes, and lay back in the seat. She was tired, and the constricting oxygen wasnt making it any easier.
After collecting herself, Katie jumped from the seat, and walked over the platform on the side of the crane. There was a ladder to climb down, but it didnt reach far enough, and dropping from there would be suicide. She walking to the end of the ramp, she noticed a window on the opposite side, on another pile of stacked crates. Climbing to the edge, she looked at the distance, and then looked back at the crane. "Hey, we can use that to bring us close enough to get out!"

Jake watched Katie walk along the ramp towards the gap between her and the crates that lead to their only possible escape. "Sure thing," he replied shortly after grasping onto the egde of the roof again and swinging his legs into the seat of the crane. He looked around at all the levers and scoffed.
"It's a good thing I worked with these things back a the facory..." he grumbled, pulling on one of the farthest levers and then pushing on another closer. The crane arched back a litle and swayed to the right as the entire thing began to move, creating a rather loud and annoying whirring nose as it drove towards the side of the crates.
The actual crane had been moved into the center of the gap, creating leverage to jump, climb and leap to the crates. He wasn't able to move the entire thing inbetween the gap otherwise it'd be easier to just jump onto the roof and onto the crates, but that just wasn't the case.
"Alright, go for it, Katie!" Jake called out.

As the crane began to move, Katie held he position on the end, holding the side with her arms. While keeping her balance, she stood back up once the thing stopped, and back up to make the run and jump. Katie looked back, and nodded to Jake, she was ready. Looking down, she saw that it was a large fall, and that just made her even more nervous. But of all the things to be scared of, this seemed pretty foolish. Closing her eyes for a moment, and taking a deep breath, she ran for the end.
Leaping across onto the crates, she leg her body slam against the wall. Keeping herself as far away from the edge as possible seemed to be the safest idea. The window was mainly used for filtration purposes, but they would be able to use it to get out. Katie peeked outside of the large glass sheild, and then looked back at Jake. "Alright then, your next..."

Jake winced when he saw Katie slam up against the wall. He stifled a chuckle before climbing out of the station he was seated in . He skillfully latched himself onto the metal part of the crane and carefully crawled upwards and grasped onto the thick rope. He pulled his lowerbody down and hung onto the rope, climbing down to the hook and pushing his feet down on it.
He swung his body weight towards the crate and once he was close enough, he jumped off, his feet thunking hard against the top of the crates. He had dropped in a crouch before standing to his feet and walking along after Katie. He looked out the window and back at the woman.
"Alright, let's get the hell out of this place."
