Located along the river, the Museum is a state of the art building which houses all sorts of priceless items. It also has a state of the art security system, which is still in place, which consists of metal shutters dropping down over all the jewels like a cage and sending off an ear-shattering low pitch alarm. This place has emergency lights, long hallways, and two floors full of art, jewels, and other items.

((Louis and Andreya Enter))
Andreya looked up at the museum as Louis slowly pulled up to the front steps, or as far as he could get. There was a long set of stairs that lead up to the door way stopping anyone from just pulling right up to the door. Even on the outside she could hear the alarm going off, and she was a bit worried as to what would be in there to set it off. Surly the security guards would have shut it off by now, but if they haven't it only meant one thing. Andreya looked up at Louis as he climbed out of the car, and she slowly followed. Putting the backpack on her back, she slowly made her way to stand near him.
Her eyes darted from all the shadow's that loomed from the trees, knowing well enough that danger was just an understatement now. "W- what are we d- doing here?" she asked lightly as she followed him up the steps. She carefully counted her steps, and watched her footing as she made it up to the top. 25 steps up, and 25 steps down, she told herself as she once more looked up at Louis as she waited for an answer to her question.

Louis heard the alarm, and then pushed up the heavy doors. It was obvious that nobody was inside, or they wouldve locked them up tightly. He tried to find security locks on the inside, but it seemed they were only accessable from the main computer. He pointed up toward a ladder leading to the second floor, and then towards a door. "This place makes for a good shelter from the streets. We just need to get up there to the main offices, and lock the doors up..." Louis knew the only way to stop the alarm system was to get to that office aswell. With every step they took, an echo flowed throughout the building.
Louis walked over the to base of the ladder, and then nodded to the girl to stay put. Using a hand signal, he demonstrated that he wanted her to also keep both eyes on the door, and his location. Louis didnt have eyes in the back of his head, and wasnt sure if any of the infected were inside the museum already. As he walked along the second floor walkway, he stared down to make she the girl was ok. Louis wanted to be quick, so he jogged through into the offices. Near the back, a computer screen lit up the room better then a flashlight would onto the wall. He ran his fingers across the keyboard, quickly scanning through for a locking system. His efforts turned the Alarm off, finally, and then eventually the locks turned on.
Louis grinned at his accomplishment, and then ran out onto into the walkway again, this time feeling safer about the situation. He leaned over the railing, and then called down to the girl. "Check the front doors, make sure theyre good and tight!" Hearing only her footsteps, Louis assumed she had heard him. Sliding down the ladder, he landed with a loud thud, and now realising how mcuh volume he needed to talk so he could be heard throughout the place. The echo really made thing louder, and they could communicate pretty well even from all the way across the room. Louis walked forward, and then started up at a painting of Raccoon City, obviously before the outbreak. "So, you got a name, kid?"

Andreya looked up at Louis and nodded slightly from when she returned from locking the doors. "Andreya," she spoke lightly as she looked around the room. Her head pounding just from the short time with the siren alone. She rubbed her temples a bit as she looked at the paintings. Checking her cell phone for a bit as she did, but no messages from Thorton. She sighed as she took off her backpack and set it down on the floor. She slid down the wall, and pull her knees to her chest. Andreya just sat there staring at the other wall as she did. She wasn't in Raccoon City long enough the first time to actually have full encounters with the undead. In actually she dealt with something Thorton called a BOW, but none of the walking dead.
Sighing against she closed her eyes as she rested her head on her knees. All she wanted to do was go home and be in her bed . . . the home she had come to know and love. She sighed again as she opened her eyes again, glancing toward the front door as the shadow's from the night danced across the glass. Death played within the still night, and she knew there was more to come. "W- what are we g- going to do?"

Louis looked at Andreya, and then nodded slowely to himself. Pacing closer to where she was sitting, he tilted his head downward, and responded. "Andreya... Thats a pretty name. Fits will with that Irish accent of yours, too... Well, Andreya, unless you feel like taking some pictures, I think we should lay low for awhile. Its getting really late, maybe you could fit a rest in..." Louis only had to look at Andreyas eys to know that she was ready to hit the bunk. A University student, ontop of the hard work put into the day. He had expirence, so he knew that running from the dead all night worked up a good exercise, and sleep always needed to follow.
"Well, id hate to leave you alone, but I was just gonna scout acout around on the second floor. Ill check the stairs leading up, make sure theyre clear... So anytime you feel like coming up, I wont go too far off..." Louis smiled, and then walked through a set of double doors leading to the stairs. Making his way to the top, he went back into the security office, but left the door wide open, incase Andreya needed to find him. He turned the lights on in the room, brighten the place up up. Upon looking around the din lit room, Louis turned around only to notice a security officer sitting in a chair with his head leaning back. He slowely walked towards him, and then realised he was dead. No surprise there.
Shaking his head, Louis crouched down, and picked up a bloodstained service revolver, wiping it off with the mans shirt. Looking inside the cylinder, he found three rounds were missing, as he dropped them to the floor. Pocketing the gun, he then looked at around for a closet to hide the corpse. He wouldnt just leave it in the open, so he dragged it towards an open room. It was a small room, only used for storing old books and such, nothing useful. After setting the body inside, Louis closed the door tightly, and then sighed as he sat down at one of the two computers. Within a few minuits of typing and shifting the mouse around, he brought of a large and fairly detailed map of Raccoon City. Leaning back in the chair, he scanned the map, looking for where theyre position was.
After finding it, Louis highlighted it for convience. He wasnt the smartest with computers, but he was good with maps. His job always required him to use a map, and he took advantage of the opportunity to find the location of a friend. East, out of the main city, was the Arklay Mountains. Although not marked with an adress, hybrid outline of the area led him to believe the place was deep inside the forest. Louis clicked the print button, and then walked across the room. Taking the paper out of the printer, he folded it up, and drove it inside his pocket. Walking back to the chair, he sat down, and set the screen back to a max veiw of Raccoon City, as he layed back and closed his eyes. He wasnt very tired, but resting his eyes felt relaxing.

Andreya shifted as she sat on the floor. She was bored and tired, but sitting on the cold hard floor would do nothing but get her sick. An at the moment she really didn't need it, because with her one sickness lead to another. Andreya yawned as she climbed to her feet and stretched her arms. She picked up her backpack, and just dragged it behind her as she walked up the stairs. She looked around the hall until she seen the open door, and figured that it was the security office. Walking inside she seen Louis sitting at a chair staring at the computer screen. "A- anything interesting?" she asked lightly as she walked to the corner of the room.
The floor was carpeted which was a lot better then the tiled floor. She sat her backpack down on the floor, and used it as a pillow when she laid down. She yawned a bit as she looked up at Louis who seemed to be focused onto the computer. She smiled weakly as she yawned again, and closed her eyes. It wasn't even five seconds later, and she had completely drifted to sleep. Absently pulling her knees up to her chest, and wrapping her arms around them. She nuzzled her head into her mack shift pillow, before she finally just laid there.

Louis looked behind him, and saw that Andreya was sleeping in the corner of the room. He nodded to himself, and then smiled. Pecking at the keyboard, he turned the lights in this place off. He stood up, and walked to the doorway, but he left the door open so noise could enter. Louis was about to leave the room, when he heard a shuffle coming from the storage room. Leaning on the door, his ear pressed tight, he heard a very faint moaning that wouldn't have been heard unless you were as close as he was. Looking over at Andreya one more time, he pulled out his knife, and placed his hand on the door. In one action, he opened the door, rushed inside, and stabbed the infected in the spinal column, rocking the knife back and forth.
As soon as the movement stopped, he knew it was paralyzed from the hip down, causing him no threat. Laying him to the ground, he was pleased that all this action was silent, so he wouldn't have woken Andreya. Once the zombie was face down on the floor, Louis placed both hands on its neck and temple, and jerked hard left, snapping its neck with a small crunch. He left the room, and lightly shut the door, the locking tick making the most noise. As soon as this was done, he left the room now, and walked down to the bottom floor. Moonlight entered through the large glass windows on all sides of the museum, but they weren't low enough for the undead outside to get in. Louis walked to the middle, and saw a large "You Are Here" map, as he searched around for all places of interest.
The museum has many places to explore, lots of different rooms that needed to be checked out. Using the blood on his knife, Louis drew an outline around the security room, symbolizing it was the main power room, and perfectly safe. He also outlines in blood where the other storage rooms were, as well as the lounge and meeting rooms. They're bound to have useful supplies inside of them. Louis wipe the remaining blood off of his knife onto the ground, and then sheathed it under his coat. He would have to take the rest of the night to explore these rooms, and clear them out from any infected. The more work he did, the safer this place would become for the both of them.
[Five Hours Later]
Louis was lucky to have noticed that there was no infected in any of the areas, and knew they would make for great safe rooms. As he looked up at the large windows, he noticed that sunlight replaced the moonlight now. Checking his watch, it displayed 7:48am in bold lettering. Louis walked back up the stairs, and sat back at the computer terminal in the security room. Pressing a few buttons, he turned on the main lights in each of the rooms, putting shutters on the rooms that didn't need anymore exploring. Grinning at his progress, he sat up, and flicked on the light switch inside the security room, which now lit the whole building. Louis walked over to Andreya, and tapped her lightly on the shoulder. "Morning sunshine, brought you a little something..." Louis pulled out an energy bar, along with a can of Pepsi, which he had salvaged from a group of snack machines in the west hallway.

Andreya shifted slightly as she laid there for a bit. Not wanting to wake up, and just enjoying her sleep as she shivered slightly. She yawned a bit as she stretched out as she did. Opening her eyes she looked up at Louis, and it took her a moment for everything to register. She smiled weakly as she took the energy bar and the drink from him, and sat up. She stretched again, and opened the Pepsi. She took a sip of the pepsi, and down the energy bar before Louis even had a chance to return to his seat. Looking around the security room, the light on the cameras were evidence enough that it was morning time. "T- thank you," she spoke lightly as she sat there sipping on her pepsi.
Climbing to her feet she stretched again before walking to the camera screens. Her eyes scanning over them slightly as she frowned a bit. "N- no one alive. I- it almost seemed l- like a dream." Andreya sighed heavily as she sat down in a chair and stretched her arms a bit. She leaned forward, and rested her head on the desk. Looking up at Louis she smiled weakly before she closed her eyes and just rested there. "W- what's going to h- happen to us now?" she asked lightly.

Louis tuned to face Andreya, as he turned off the moniter screen. He didnt know what more they could do, but his efforts in the wee hours made it possible for them to go wherever they pleased inside this museum. "Well... While you were resting, I cleared about a bunch of rooms all around the building. Theres no need to fear those monsters anymore, you can go exploring if you like... The staff room as a fridge with some thing still unexpired, and if your interested, theres a TV too..." Louis knew that the rooms that were shuttered off were unbreakable by those undead, so as far as moving around went, Andreya would be perfectly safe from harm.
Louis stood up, and walked over to where she was sitting. Reaching inside his coat pocket, he pulled out the .38 revolver. "Here, you should hold on to this... Simple really, point and shoot. If your ever in a tight spot..." It was very small, had little kickback, and was much quieter then his oun .45 or even a 9mm. Plus it could easily fit inside her pocket, which was why he took it. Louis also pulled out a box of .38 rounds, which he handed to Andreya aswell. "Its full, and ready to fire, you just have to flick off the safety... Heres some more ammo." Louis wasnt certain if Andreya would need to use it, but better have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. This was something Louis lived by, and he encouraged other to do the same.

Andreya looked up at Louis, and then down at the gun. She remembered the last time she held a gun . . . the gun that took her own father's life. The weapon that she fired off in order to kill the man that had hurt her so much. She had blood on her hands, so much of it that she grew sick at the site of the weapon. Still remembering about those things Thorton called BOW's she knew that it was probably a good idea. She took the gun, and tucked it away and stood up. She walked to her backpack and put the extra ammo in it. She looked back at Louis and nodded slightly. "T-thank you," she spoke lightly as she looked around the room.
"I- I'm going to go f- for a walk," she said lightly as she left her backpack up against the wall. Walking down the hallway the heals of her shoes echoing threw the halls. She passed by several of the exhibits, and looked at them in awe. As long as she had been in Raccoon City she had never came to the museum. It wasn't to much longer before she realized that she was lost. She looked around and sighed as she tried to find a map to tell her where she was. As she walked up to a board with the "You are Here" or in her case "You are Lost" sign she heard a faint clicking sound.
It was almost like claws on metal, or a poker striking against the metal. She looked around trying to find the source of the sound, but there was nothing. Andreya sighed realizing that she was just letting things get to her. She walked to the window to look down at the floor below, and she jumped when she heard the vent above her shake. She turned around to see part of the vent give way causing a pink and slimy creature to slid out. It stood on all fours with an exposed brain, and it's tongue flying about in the air. Andreya stood there almost petrified as it stood there staring her down. She tried calling out to Louis only realizing that she wasn't any where near the security room.
Finally finding her feet she took off down the hall, only to be pulled off her feet as the creature's tongue wrapped around her throat. Andreya cried out as she fumbled for the gun that Louis had given her. The tightness in her chest coming back as she could feel the creature's tongue trying to crush her throat. She rolled over, and fired off several round two of which went wide. The third on the other hand struck the creature in the arm causing it to cry out. It then pulled on it's tongue causing Andreya to be knocked up against the wall. She cried out as the gun slipped from her hands.
Her air becoming fewer and far between as she just laid there. The Licker of all creatures, one of the world wide known BOW's that you couldn't go anywhere without knowing one was there. It was the classic human transformation gone wrong thanks to the T-Virus. It stood over Andreya and her half conscious body, as it found it's new meal.

Louis heard the three round go off, and then cursed to himself. Pulling out his gun and running out of the room toward the source of gunfire, he heard the scream of a beast. This gave away the exact location, and he knew it was coming from the northern wing. Turning a corner just in time to see the creature raise up for a finishing blow, Louis sprinted forward and fired a round into its readied claw. The impact of the .45 blew the creatures hand right off, as he heard more screams of pain. He lunged himself forward, fearlessly tackling the beast off Andreya. Louis went for his knife, but before he could raise his arm, the creature kicked him off, sending his gun across the floor. Upon landing on his back, he sprung up, holding the knife in a combat stance.
The creature looked at Andreya helpless on the ground, but then saw that Louis was the one looking for a fight. As the tougue flew through the air toward him, the knife slashed just as quickly. More screams echoed the museum, as blood sprayed onto the wall. Louis took this opportunity to leap onto the beast once again, this time stabbing and pounding it with knife and fist combos. But the creature overpowered him once again, but this time sending him tumbling down the stairs. Before he knew it, Louis felt the creature jump on top of him, but he countered by holding his single clawed arm with his elbow. He gave a strong blow upward with his knee, but felt the creature slam him closer and harder into the floor. Louis reached for his knife while trying to hold back the beasts claw, but found that he couldnt do both alone...

Andreya gasped for air, but little to none was coming. She could feel the tightness in her chest, and it brought tears to hear eyes. She struggled to her feet as she watched Louis fall down the stairs. She cried out, but it was more of a staggering cough. She staggered to the gun, and picked up the closest one, which happened to be Louis' .45. She moved toward the stairs as she took aim, but her hands shook. She couldn't fire a gun, she would hit Louis if she did and she didn't want to do that. Andreya wheezed heavily as she raised the gun, but instead pointed it to the left in order to just try and scare it.
Yet when she fired the gun, the shaking in her hands caused the gun to shift to the right, and in turn striking the creature clear in the back. The gun on the other hand kicked back causing Andreya to drop the weapon, and it tumbled down the stairs. She staggered slightly as her hand reached for her throat. She couldn't breath, and she could feel herself growing lightly headed. The last thing she remembered was watching the Licker turn to face the easy meal. Andreya fell back onto the tiled floor as she passed out. The Licker in turn jumping the flight of stairs, and landing onto of Andreya. Preparing to take a bite and secure the fate of it's food.

Louis rolled to his side, and then sprung upward onto his feet. He say the creature move up the stairs, and then jump onto Andreya. He ran up the steps himself with the knife, and then drove it into the monsters back, pulling it out, and driving deep again and again. Louis grabbed the creature by the sides, and then hurled him down the stairs. Once it landed at the bottem, he picked up the revolver, and fired the remaining five rounds into the creature. As it lay motionless on the floor, Louis sprinted back to the security office, and grabbed Andreya backpack. On the ran across the hall, he found the enhaler, and then slid across the floor beside the unconcious girl.
Louis wasnt quite sure how it worked for someone who wasnt moving, but he placed it inside her mouth, holding it upright. Then with his other hand, he pressed down on her chest, as if he was performing CPR. In turn, Andreya would assumingly, but hopefully, inhaled the medicine. "Come on, come on! Breath! Breath!!!" Louis repeated the process over and over again, not stopping until the girl was able to get a clean breath of air. After a few successful tries, Andreya began to breath clearer each time. She was still unconcious, but breathing fine. Louis dropped the enhaler back in the bag, and then sheathed his knife. He put the revolver back in the bag aswell, and holstered his .45 behind his coat flap.
After throwing the backpack over his shoulder, Louis picked up Andreya, and then with both hands carried her back to the staff lounge. It was the closest saferoom in the building, and had a nice couch to lay her flat on. After entering the room, he gently layed her head down on a pillow, and her body on the soft matress. Setting the backpack on the floor, Louis walked back out in the hallway. He returned with about six cans of a variet of soda, and a dozen candy bars. He stocked the fridge up full, making about three or four trips back and fourth. By the time Louis closed the door, he felt exausted about the morning. He lay down on the floor infront of the couch, and closed his eyes. He hadnt slept in about two day now, a good rest was needed.

Andreya shifted on the sofa but remained sleeping. Her sleep nothing but a nightmarish hell like it always was when she had major attacks. Even in her sleep the pain was evident within her face. Her chest still burned along with her lungs, though she was breathing normally there was a faint wheezing sound, but would eventually go away with time. She shifted on the sofa tossing her hands into the air as she rolled onto her side. Absently pulling her knees to her chest as she laid there sleeping. Her eyes shifting back and forth from the nightmares, sweet dripping down her face as she laid there. Soon enough tears started streaming down her cheeks, before she started making small chocking noises.
It wasn't until she cried out that she opened her eyes, and covered her mouth. She looked down at Louis. She wiped the tears from her face, as she forced herself to sit up. She wiped her face again as she looked down at him with a heavy sigh. "I- I'm sorry," she said lightly. She closed her eyes as she leaned forward as she put her hands up to cover her eyes. "Y- you look tired. M- maybe you s- should rest."

Louis opened his eyes, and then tilted his head to the left. Staring up at Andreya, he smiled to himself as she closed her eyes once again. "Dont appologise... It wasnt your fault..." He stared straight up at the ceiling, and then reached into his pocket. Pulling out a little bottle marked "ACETAMINOPHEN", he popped open the lid, and downed two of them. Crunching them into powder, and then swallowing them was the only way to get them down nicely without somthing to drink. And quite frankly, he was too lazy to stand up and grab a can of pop from the fridge. But can you really blame the man?
Louis layed on the floor, with his eyes closed, he finally fell asleep. It was the first time he slept in such a long time. As he lay sleeping, Louis dreamt about his first time in Raccoon City, during the first outbreak. Of all the people he had met, two of them worked on opposing sides. While the most memorable person remained in the grey area, there was something about that man that bothered him. Kept him asking questions, how he lived as long as he did. Was he the reason Louis came to Raccoon City after the outbreak was over? Why didnt he forget about him? Was it this place, or that man? It always fueled him, kept him wanting more. But when you get down to it, its just another reason to stay alive...
