Vlad smirked at the question Crystal asked him. He wasnt in a hurry to say that he had been here looking for a bit of lunch, and that she may yet fit the ticket.
"Just enjoying the beach." He said as he looked around the crowd. "Such a shame I forgot my trunks, da?" He said, sparking a smirk on his pale lips. The wonders of sunlight. Even though it was the bane of his very existance, it did help him blend in. Anyone who thought they knew something thought vampires lived in the dead of night and shunned the daylight. In fact, he liked the light. Not only had he been a fan of watching the sunrise when he was a child, when dealing with hunters, it helped that he coul be sitting there in the middle of the day without a problem. Not to mention that he could still send a message of suggestion out in the daytime, one of his few powers that remained active. The humans here thought he looked quite normal. The others...he wasnt sure what they thought or what they knew.
He looked back to the girl, her red eyes staring at him. She sure wasnt a human, that much he knew. He couldnt place what she was, however. "By that token, what is it that brings you here?" He asked her, hoping to get a better understanding of what she was and why she was here. He'd been drawn here by something. Maybe her. Maybe something else. If not her, maybe she was here for the same reason.

{OMG YAY! PAGE TWO! ~spaz~ x3; ~parties~ >>}
Crystal noticed out of the corner of her eye the male motion for Vlad and herself to join them, she grinned darkly at them. "Hn, waiting for an old friend of mine, but she might not come till tommorroww morning.....Maybe you know her, she did talk about a young man just like yourself..." She thought for a moment before smirking.
She stood and looked over at them, her bright red eyes seemingly faking a confusion as she looked back down at him and offered her hand. "Hn~ Might as well find out what's going on ne? Oh and Gomen Vlad-sama." She smirked, mimicking the demonic friends voice, Crystal had been around the woman for to long.....
"Must you mimick me Crystal-san?" Crystal glanced over her shoulder to see a woman wearing a black trench, a pair of dark blood red combat boots showing and part of her clothes, which looked like a pair of combat pants and a black Kiss shirt.
"Hikaru-san!" Crystal said playfully, turning around and hugging her, Hikaru looked over at Vlad and smirked. Crystal whispered something in her ear and Hikaru nodded eagerly. Hikaru had on a hood as well that hid her amazingly silver locks, which covered most of her face as well, her slightly crimson eyes still staring at Vlad with that same smirk.

*Douglas wasn't completely sure if he agreed with what Remus said. The brought-together-by-fate thing seemed too cliche to be real. Than again, Douglas thought his water powers were pretty unreal. He figured he might as well go along and see if things were predetermined. Douglas looked at Remus and followed Remus' hand gesture with his eyes. Douglas saw Remus was pointing at the guy and girl that had been talking for a while. Douglas' ears caught Remus speaking again.* "Perhaps we will learn more if we join them?" *Douglas turned to look at Remus and saw him extend a hand to Roderica.* 'This guy must really be into her...' *Douglas thought to himself. He looked back over at the red girl, still all alone, and wondered if a conversation should be started. He turned back to Remus and Roderica and started to speak.* "Hey, uh, what about her?" *Douglas pointed towards the red girl as he said this.* "She's all alone, and those two seem like they're doing fine. Maybe we should see if she's alright?"

Roderica looked Remus and smiled. It took her a moment before she took his hand. "Thank you again," she said lightly. Turning to Douglas as he spoke. She smiled lightly as she looked back at the young woman who stood all alone. "You are right," she said lightly before looking back at the two that soon became three. For the first time since she had met Remus or Douglas she frowned a bit, but her frown quickly turned into a glare. She looked up at Remus and then to Douglas before speaking again. "Mr Lagunov, do you mind checking on the young woman, and then joining us once you find out her situation?†she asked lightly before looking up at Remus. “I do believe that meeting these people and their new companion would be quite warranted at the moment.â€
Looking back to Douglas once more. “I hope you do not mind,†she spoke as she turned to walk toward the trio. Her eyes glimmering slightly in the moonlight. The hidden look of eternity seeming to follow them as she moved across the sand. She knew something wasn’t right, she had lived with demons for centuries, and she had grown use to the feeling they had given off. But these two women had given off a different feeling; even their aura was darker than Roderica had been use to. She didn’t have to look behind her to see if Remus was following her. Though it wasn’t because of his footsteps, she couldn’t even hear them. His steps were like that of age and experience, skill that it took to walk in the shadows. Yet it was the feeling he himself had given off that made her sure that he was behind her.
Roderica stopped shy of the trio and bowed ever so slightly. “I apologize for intruding,†she spoke lightly and smiled as she did. “I just happen to be curious as to what brings you out into a place like this. Not many people linger around God’s beautiful sites anymore,†she said lightly. “Call it curiosity, but either way it has gotten then better of me.â€

Vlad, who had been on his way to meet the other people in the group, stopped in his tracks when he heard the voice. First, coming from Crystal in a spot on impersonation. It sounded so much like her, but his keen hearing told him it came from her mouth. He had been ready to say something when he heard another person sound out with the same voice. Could it be?
"Hikaru..." He muttered, still not turning to look. He turned to look at her, and smirked again. She looked the same as the last time he had saw her, almost 70 years ago. The middle of World War 2, Japan. He and the company of Marines he was in at the time had taken the village she had been residing in, evacuating the civilians to use it as a foothold to take further land. He smiled wider as he looked at her. She had an odd way of dressing these days, but it was deffinately her.
"How have you been?" He asked, walking toward her. They had formed what could have been called a friendship. They were both creatures living among humans, both alone in the world. For him, she had been the only nonhuman interaction he had ever had, save for the creature that had turned him so long ago. For her, he had been the only vampire she had ever met. Probably a source of intreige. Either way, they had made a mark on each other.
"You look well. What's it been, 70 years?" He said.

{Hn ;-;' Sorry for being gone all weekend you guys ;-;'''}
Night was coming and fast, the sky giving off a hue of colors as the two girls broke their hug, Hikaru went over to Vlad and extended her hand in greetings. "Hm, I lost track from 15 dear Vladimir-san, but it has been long." She grinned, the humans around the strange group were thinning, she noticed this and the wind caught her hood causing it to fly off her head and make her silver locks dance in the wind.
Crystal smirked and looked on Hikaru's back, there was the thing she was waiting for...S'ounga, the Sword of Hell. Her eyes gleamed but she didn't take him just yet.{In InuYasha the sword talks and it has a male voice ._.; Just for confused people.} She walked over to the Light Elemental and stared at him a long time, then she faked a smile and giggled innocently. "What did you need sir?" She asked.

"You are right," *Roderica said in response to Douglas.* "Mr Lagunov, do you mind checking on the young woman, and then joining us once you find out her situation?" *Douglas felt a chill go up his spine when Roderica said this. He wasn't sure how well he'd be able to keep up a conversation if it was just him and the very red girl. He nodded anyway to show that he will do it. When he left, he saw one of the girls that were talking to that one guy they were going to join walk to Remus.* 'Remus must be a pretty popular guy with the ladies,' *Douglas thought to himself. He decided to turn back forward and walked on to the red girl. He kept thinking of what would be best to say to her when he got there. After a while he made it to her and was getting ready to talk.* "Hi," *Douglas said to start a conversation.* "How are you? I saw you were alone and was wondering if everything was okay or if something was wrong?" *Douglas put his left hand into his left pocket when he said this.*

Remus looked at Crystal and smiled kindly and bowed, "I simply wanted to make your acquaintence." Remus then turned to Roderica as he began introductions, "This lovely young lady is Roderica and I am Remus."
Remus extended his free hand, as the other still held Roderica's gently, to the darkness elemental. He saw no need in hostilities, especially when he didn't know why she would be amongs the rest of the elementals. Remus found it best to keep his mouth shut and observe until new knowledge came his way and this time would be no different.

(sorry about not posting earlier. I've had piles of homework and a huge speech to work on so I didn't really have time)
Ruby had to turn her head slightly upwards just to get a good enough look at Douglas' face. The guy was more than a whole foot taller than her, nearly a foot and a half to be more exact. She hated her height. Many others were much taller than she was and she was forced to turn her head up just to look at their faces.
Normally, the girl would respond with some sort of snappy comeback and make herself less likable as a first impression. This time, however, she decided to be nice. With her eyes showing no expression and her mouth still not twitching into at least a half smile, she said in an emotionless voice, "I'm fine."

All this power in one place. It was almost too much for Vlad. Unless he was mistaken, he was quite sure he felt the elements around. All of them. That hadnt happened in thousands of years. He had never encountered them, but he had heard the stories. He had stumbled upon a covenant of witches before he had left Russia, and they had shared with him a huge wealth of knowlege. One fo them was the story of the ancient city, inhabited by every manner of creature, including the elements.
How he would have loved to have lived there.
He stood near the group consisting of Rodrica, Remus, Crystal, and Hiraku, not saying a word. He was simply staring off into space, looking around the harbor for anyone else that that stood out. So far, there were the other two people, one dressed in red, that caught his eye. He counted eight people all together, not including him. Were they all elements? Or close to them? It felt like it.
Nightfall was approaching fast, and he felt releived. If word got out that everyone was who they were, things could turn ugly. Especially if Hiraku had one of her fits.

Crystal looked down at the hand and shook it, her powers and his would spark together as she looked calm when suddenly a smirk followed it. "Nice to meet your aquaintence then sir." She let her eyes gleam, this was the Light elemental, her worst enemy and more than likely her best friend. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer...
Hikaru glanced nervously between Crystal and Remus, very certain that Remus would sense Crystal's soul tainted with darkness. But not only that she was worried about Vlad, it was nightfall and he looked hungry. She placed a hand on the hilt of the sword on her back, acting like she was scratching the back of her head. Worry caked her eyes as she looked at Vlad.
"Are you gonna be OK?" She asked, whispering it over to Vlad, her eyebrows furred.

Roderica looked at Remus and then at Crystal, and worry followed her look as she did. She never remembered much about her past, so many years ago was it, and even then it was only stories. Still she was drivin by curiosity to find out why the elements were drawn to be together once more. Even more than that why after so long as it come to surface. Her arm remaind around Remus as she watched the scene very carefully. Her eyes taking in everything, and worrying exactly what was going to come out of this situation. Mostly for the fact if the elements were involved, and she wasn't fully angel or demon then she would never truly stand a chance against any of them. Still she had a purpose, and she believed that God put her here for a reason.

"I'm fine" *The red girl said to Douglas. Douglas wasn't sure if she was telling the truth, or just trying to get Douglas away from her. He would have left, but he wanted to at least learn her name.* "Are you sure?" *Douglas asked her.* "I mean, if you want to, you can join our little group. By the way, what's your name? My name's Douglas. Douglas Lagunov, if you want to get formal."

"Are you?" Vlad wispered back to Hikaru. In truth, when she got going, her problem was a bit worse than his. In the fact that, when he had gone mad with hunger, he usually only killed one person. He was far from that, though. When she went mad with... well, maddness, she usually ended up killing everyone. And the way things were going, with people like Remus around, she would go into one of her moods quicker than he would one of his.
