With his handgun and threats proving to be quite ineffective, John was trying to think of another method of attack against the giant. He backed up whilst emptying more rounds into it until his weapon clicked empty, turning to Milly.
"Kinda reminds me of the stone temple guardians from that little expedition to south america a while back, sadly this one seems to be tougher, faster and smarter."
He watched Xanthira and Yuri on their attacks. Xanthira slicing were she could whilst avoiding the monsters hands, and Yuri working at one leg when he wasn't getting smacked around, the guy had stamina for sure, and probably the right idea. John checked the left arm of his suit.
"Watch yourself kid, if I'm right we're going to feel a bit of a tremor in a few minutes."
He charged at the opposite leg, hoping to balance out Yuri's efforts and either cripple or ground the giant, building up speed with the gears in his leg armour as he wound back a heavy punch.
"Here comes the man-train." He slammed his fist into the ankle of the giant in a vicious left hook, his armour amplifying the force enough to send a man flying if he got hit, hopefully it would be enough.

Milly nodded before he left but said nothing. She didn't feel that it was the right time to talk. The situation became even more serious than it was earlier. The monster was hell bent on destroying the town, that much was certain and right now, the small group was not winning. It was time for her to do something. She was small, but standing by and doing nothing was not going to help the others.
Suddenly, she had an idea. The monster had some muscle inside of it, as Xanthira said. From what Milly heard from professors and read in books, the back of the foot, or the heel, of the human body could cause serious damage to it. One cut could sever the veins or the nerves. Perhaps the monster was something like a normal human. It was worth a try.
That's when she started running with her sword drawn. Milly knew her target. All she needed to do was run in between the monster's legs and make a few cuts with her sword on the heel. If she was lucky, she could put the group at more of an advantage than a disadvantage.
