I have RE: Code Veronica X for the PS2. It's fun game, but I can't get a difficulty level other than normal. In normal mode, bullets, grenades, and healing items are extremely scarce. Also, the zombies take so long just to kill. They take in about ten bullets before completely dying and they are pretty quick. I looked on gamefaqs.com for help on what to do and all the walkthroughs have difficulty levels for easy, normal, and hard. I heard rumors that the GameCube version of Code Veronica X lets you get the easy mode, so I was wondering if anyone here has played the GameCube version so they can let me know if the rumor is true before I blow $50 buying the game because I would really like to get farther than Nosferatu.

I didn't have any trouble getting through Code Veronica X on the PS2 on a rental. Admittedly, I was using a walkthrough at the time, but the fact remains that it is indeed possible to beat that game.

Okay, so the rumors are false? There is no difficulty level change on the GameCube version?

Do what I did don't shoot anything unless absolutley nescascary! that means no shooting zombies that can be avoided and keep the B.O.W grenades all of them because you'll need em in the airplane to fight Tyrant also never use any healing items unless your a hairline away from death! thats basically all you need to know...good luck!
