Character Board Rules
1) All characters must be approved by a staff member before they can be used. If you want to jump right into roleplay, I suggest making a basic character to be viewed and accepted.
2) If your character has been denied, it will be left in the main board for you to modify. While you should always feel free to take as much time as you need, try to stay on top of it. If you think it needs much reworking, asking the staff member to move it into the Within Production section.
3) If your character has already been Denied and moved to the Denied Sub-board but you wish to modify them again, then please PM one of the staff members about your query and they will unlock and move your character back into the main board. Keep the said staff member informed of any updates to avoid confusion.
4) Please, do not reply to any character profiles unless you are a staff member or are the creator of the character profile. If you have any comments or concerns with the profile, or if there is something wrong that we missed, please PM a Global Staff member about it, not the user who submitted the profile. Constructive criticism isnt always appreciated, even if your intentions are good.
5) Have you been waiting for your character to be approved? Usually you can get a character approved within the first few hours after it is posted. A good rule of thumb is that if you don't see any global staff members online, you probably shouldn't stay here waiting because they can't approve you until they log on. Sometimes character approval may take longer than usual if your character has special circumstances, in which case you may have to wait for certain staff members to make a decision. Please do not bump your thread when it is unnecessary.
6) Was your character denied? If you're resubmitting for approval, don't make a new thread. Modify your original post, then make a post in the thread to bump it so that the staff will notice it. Please don't bump more than once per attempt, and please don't PM the staff to ask for re-approval.
7) If your character is incomplete and you don’t have the time to finish them for staff evaluation then please put [WIP] tag at the end of your characters name and place it into the Within Production section. From there, you can take all the time you need to complete it.
8) If you are disrespectful to any of the staff in the process of approval or towards any members about their characters, etc. we reserve the right to place a warning on your account. If it continues after that a temporary ban may take place.
9) Do not delete your primary post in a character profile and then set it up in a second thread, this gives us reason to lock both threads and issue a warning for wasting time.
10) There is no reason to post multiple times in a row in your character profile, when it gets to three you'll be issued a warning and the thread will be locked.
11) If you feel the need to rework an accepted character entirely, then PM a staff member before hand, and we will allow you to create another thread specifically for the reworked character. As you roleplay, skills improve, and you maybe want to take the time to redux a profile.
12) If you think your being treated unfairly by a staff member, then please PM another staff member to take a look at the problem. We encourage respect and equality among staff and users. Were all human, and I expect staff to treat each member equally.
