The small strip of ocean infront of the ports in London is home to many sea wrecks and small islands. This area is patrolled by the British Royal Navy.

It was just past nightfall, when I ordered the ship to surface. When the ballast tanks were empty, and the ship was gently rolling over the waves of the English Channel, myself and two of my officers opened the conning tower hatch and climbed out to have a quick breath of fresh air. Before us, the bright lights of London illuminated the horizon. But the lights weren’t the only things illuminating the skies. Bursts of gunfire, artillery, and fires raged across the coast. It was apparent that all hell was breaking loose, and I wanted nothing more than to pick up the troops and supplies we’d been sent there to pickup, before heading back home.
As the coast became clearer, even in the dark of the night, I spotted the small temporary port that had been setup for evacuating survivors. Hundreds of frightened civilians huddled around the port in large groups, obviously trying to keep warm with the few blankets they’d been given, and the small trash can fires they’d made themselves.
My mission had been given out from the top dogs, first I was to make the journey to London, pickup as many soldiers and civilians as the ship could hold, and then move them to Hawaii where they will be sorted and put into specially constructed refugee camps. The soldiers however, would live to fight another day, and would most likely receive further training in Honolulu before being put into cleanup crews, to deal with the ghouls who roamed the earth.
“I’ve got a bad feeling about this,” Beside me, my second in command shivered from the cool English air. I’d made sure to dress warm in my ski jacket. My lieutenant however had only worn his uniform onto the deck.
“You’ve got a bad feeling about everything,” I said with a sigh and pulled my pair of binoculars up to my eyes. About, twenty minutes later, the sub was docked, and we were slowly but surely loading on passengers, about half of which were common foot soldiers.
Near the end of the loading, a specially equipped team whom I was told were a small detachment of SAS soldiers boarded, and I could only assume they were going to take part in the training of the soldiers around them.
After the crew had made sure everyone had a bed, and had a small ration of food in their stomach, we took off and submerged when we got to deep enough seas. The trip from their to Honolulu was a breeze.
(Jacob Ehrlichmann and the USS Hawaii are now in Honolulu)

((Joanna, Wolf, and Artemis enter)) ((Using this thread as Cronus Island since it's currently locked))
The Osprey easily made its way to the Australian Naval ship for its quick reloading and deployment of some of the troops. The rest was going in to secure the island and the lift that Artemis and the others were going to use. Though on the ship Artemis found that not everyone felt the same way about her as the BSAA did, but at the moment she didn’t care. When the Osprey took off once more she was almost too happy to be back in the air. She sighed a bit as she looked out the window. Things seemed to be getting to her a lot more lately than they would have in the past, and in a way she was finding it rather irritating.
As the osprey made its way toward the coordinates it almost looked like the island didn’t exist anymore or never existed to begin with. Artemis bit her lip as she looked out the window trying her best to pear out across the watery icy landscape. “It’s a lot colder out this way then last time. Though that’s quite shocking with the way global warming is,” she pointed out. Then see seen it. Not quite, but she could make out the outline of the tower. The entire island was covered in snow and made the buildings blend in with the ground making it look like another ice burg. She watched as the osprey came in for a landing at the airport having a bit of trouble locating the run way. After three fly overs it finally came to rest on the runway.
As the rear door opened the soldiers filed out taking point and investigating their surrounding area. Artemis looked at Joanna. “I was getting a bit worried that the island was gone. I’ve never come in by sub before,” she pointed out. She followed them out of the osprey allowing the brisk ocean air to wrap around her. It was a lot colder than she expected, but they weren’t going to be topside too long. Artemis raised her hand and looked at it with a heavy sigh. Coming back here before wouldn’t have caused her to have second thoughts about taking lives, but the long that she hung around Joanna she couldn’t help but feel guilty. Especially the island that they now stood on, she didn’t just take the lives of those scientist, but their family as well. Tightening her hand into a fist she looked out across the airfield.
“We have about a mile walk to the complex with the lift,” she pointed out. She moved across the runway toward the airport. “The island is large, but most of the residence makes up the island. I’m figuring there will be walkers here, but there more than likely dormant and maybe if were quite enough we won’t even have to deal with them.” She stopped at the large window that peered into the airport and pointed at the bodies lying across the ground. “I’ve seen it before. No food for a long period of time and they shut down until something crosses their path.” She motioned them around the side of the building and toward the gate that lead out of the runway. “Probably tried to escape the outbreak.” Once they were out she secured the gate back so that the soldiers inside with the osprey wouldn’t be caught off guard. “Down this road,” she pointed out.

Joanna was about to say something when she saw Rebecca still. "Wolf, whats wrong?" "somethings here, I can smell a BOW, but I cant see it." suddenly, a roar sounded to their left. they spun towards the sound as one, guns on their shoulders, and saw a fanged mouth appear 2.5 meters in the air. as one, they fired, a storm of bullets flew towards the apparition. Coagulated blood flew from the many bullets that whipped through the mouth and the air around it, bloody rents erupting blood and flesh from the air, like reality itself was being shredded. And finally, with a death scream, the mouth and the holes fell to the ground. Rebecca crossed over to it, touching the air around the mouth and holes, feeling how big it was. suddenly, she felt something sharp, several somethings. Claws, extremely sharp claws.
"If there are more of these things, which there most likely are," she said grimly, "we're gonna have a really tough time getting to and through the labs."
