excellent, we've only be waiting... for like 3 months for Krauser stuff to come out? From what I've heard everyone seems to think that the Krauser/Leon scenario is more polished and smoother feeling than the RE2 and CV scenarios, which makes sense looking at it from the standpoint that we've been looking at those 2 scenarios mostly from the get go, but we have seen nothing till now for this scenario, so I guess Capcom kept developing and was using this for their trump card. I think it worked

www.gametrailers.com/video/experience-the-darkside/57808Okay, so in correlation with suddenly realizing this would be good to post up in the Official discussion thread. Capcom have recently released their last Darkside Chronicles trailer before the release of the game and it is really good. They worked alongside GameTrailers to create an 'Interactive' trailer, the first of its kind actually, for the public. At first I just thought it would let you shoot zombies at some points but it goes further than that. Stuff pops out of the screen at you and the window surrounding the video gets physically damaged where lines of text are falling down and adverts are being burned up, the entire window shakes sometimes as well. So check it out, but it might take a while to load. Thankfully I loaded it up at the institute I work at which has mad net speeds and was able to play it straight away. But it's well worth it.

Ok everyone, Darkside Chronicles are out, and I actually think that they are pretty awesome the shaky cam gets a bit taking used to and I've already beaten it once on normal, going for hard this weekend. I have spoilers abound

^^ 1 one of two epic trailers >_>
^^ 2 of 2 epic trailers.
My opinion: Freaky as hell! But I'd love to get it on Wii or PS3 if it's on that! Too bad I don't have either!

You really missed out on the lowdown huh Exodus. It's only for Wii, and it's the second game of the series.
That and both of those trailers were posted earlier.

Don't worry, I have a Wii but I'm missing out on it.
Mainly because I made the decision to spend thousands this christmas. It doesn't feel great taking a pre-order down.

It has really impressive graphics at some stages, the kind that makes it difficult to differentiate between HD and massive poly count. I found that to be similar with some areas in The Umbrella Chronicles, noticably with T-a.L.O.S. And yeah, then there's the camera shake which you'd've seen in the trailers which is a change over the smooth movement from Umbrella Chronicles.

Hmm, I heard it starts out in the South America scenario and then the other scenarios are kind of a flashback for Leonaren't they? Lol, I know I am getting this, but I have to wait a whole 'nother month until Christmas. It doesn't have any sub-scenarios though that UC had like Death's Door, Rebirth, Fourth Survivor,Nightmare, etc. does it?

It's level based this time, and yeah it starts with the South America story and the other two games being flashbacks... how the CV:X levels are flashbacks is beyond me though.
And there are new 'modes'. I'm not sure if that entitles special scenarios but there's a level of RE2 that features Tofu that you have to kill, other than that I'm uncertain.

So yeah, this game sounds really short. Cause I'd like to have scenarios, like what Ada was doing before meeting Leon, what Chris was doing before meeting Claire, what Jack did after South America, wait, no I haven't played the game, but isn't 2002 the year that Krauser supposedly goes missing in that helicopter crash? Cause Resident Evil 4 happens in... 1998 + 6, 2004, so Jack saying in RE4," I died in the crash two years ago, is that what they told you?", means, that they will show the crash won't they? Hmm, cool, I can't waiting to play this game

Yeah, the story in Darkside Chronicles is between 1998 to 2002, so we'll be seeing the semi-death of Krauser for sure.
However the game definitely isn't short, I've heard there's 20 hours behind the main campaigne plus heaps more time that you have to put in to find absolutely everything. So in other words, I'd put 50+ hours in to The Umbrella Chronicles. I'm guessing the Darkside Chronicles will match or add to that.

Even without the extra sub-scenarios?
