The Jacksonville Landing is the perfect spot for a day or night out with friends. There's the river walk which offers a nice stroll plus several different food venues and shopping and dining complex to chow down at. Moreover is the river cruise which heads out daily. If you dig history there's also a maritime display you can check out.

(Joanna and Artemis enter from the Las Vagas thread)) After a moment she found that she was drifting, but it was Joanna’s comment that brought her back. She couldn’t help but laugh at that fact. She had let her guard down to much here, and it almost cost her greatly. She also knew well enough that she wasn’t at the top of her game either. She knew that Susan hated her, and she had expected it. She found it harder than she expected to let her comments not get to her. Closing her eyes she smiled lightly. “I am still human,” she mumbled under her breath. “Though losing a few pounds of armor kinda makes for an easier target,” she pointed out. She opened her eyes and looked at Joanna. “Besides if I don’t bleed from time to time I would forget that I’m still human,” she grinned. Susan huffed and folded her arms. “Monster’s more like it,” she mumbled under her breath before she walked to the back of the plane and sat down. Artemis looked at Susan for a moment before sighing. “I’m supposed to regret my actions dealing with her . . . I know that, but . . .” “You don’t,” Alexander finished. “You’ve been with Umbrella far too long to have humane thoughts,” he said before turning to walk over to Susan. “He’s right,” she said as she looked up at the roof. “Even now I am fighting with what I’ve been taught, and what I know is right.” She looked at Joanna; she smiled before closing her eyes. “Thank you for saving Susan though. I don’t think I could have done any of this without you.” Read more: residentevilrpg.com/thread/8212/tundra?page=2#ixzz2bDnVpVX1

Joanna smiled at Artemis's thanks, "Like I said before, one of my easier rescue ops." she grinned, "the last one I did the prisoners were being guarded by a Tyrant, a nasty customer by all acounts." she looked over at susan, who was leaning on Alexander in exhaustion, while He had an arm around her. "Looks like she'll be okay. Good thing she has him, otherwise I dont know how we would have manage to get her out of there." she activated the internal comms, "Carmen, whats our ETA to the designated LZ?" "A few hours tops. I suggest getting some shuteye, we'll probably need it for the debrief." Joanna looked over to Alexander, "you heard the lady, best get some shuteye while you can, I dont know how long till you can get another chance." He looked back, "I thought we would be landing at your Headquarters?" She shook her head, "My original mission had me coming home, and the Designated LZ Is where my Jeep is so I could quickly get over to HQ and deliver any cargo I might bring along." She looked over at Artemis, "I learned the hard way that even BSAA officials can sometimes be dirty, so ever since then I had them drop me and anything I have with me to an LZ with my Jeep, unless I indicate otherwise. And since I made a promise to Artemis here to help protect her sister, Im making sure about operational security."

With Joanna’s help Artemis was able to sit up even with a bit of a struggle. She gripped her side tightly as she looked out the window as the plane landed at the strip. “It’s always better to be safe. Especially being a person for higher,” she said as stood up. The ramp lowered to the ground allowing the group to exit the plane. Artemis couldn’t help but smirk at the thought of an Umbrella agent nearly taking her out, but not one of the people that hated her for everything she has done to them. It was odd in her book, but she also found it comforting. Nothing she ever did had ever comforted her.
She watched with a bit of satisfaction as Susan and Alexander walked down the ramp. After this moment she could care less of what happened to her. At least her sister was safe from Tricell or Umbrella. “I think once this wound heals I’m going to take a trip,” she spoke under her breath so only Joanna could hear. “I have a debt to settle with an Umbrella executive.” She followed Joanna down the ramp and looked around the area.
“So now what?” Susan finally asked. “What happens to Alexander and me?” She then looked at Artemis. “An what prison does so go to?”
Artemis couldn’t help but laugh. “I have too much unfinished business to go to prison at the moment.”
“You would break out? Kill anyone in your way?”
Artemis shook her head. “You wouldn’t understand.”

"whatever happens later happens, for now we gotta get to HQ." Said Joanna, "come on, my trucks just over there." Alexander looked at it, then to Joanna, "I thought you said truck, not a bloody Tank." Joanna chuckled, "Its built like one, but its got a lot more speed to it." After helping Artemis into the front passenger seat and putting on her seatbelt, she went around to the drivers side, getting in. looking back at Alexander and Susan, "Better buckle up, its a bit rough and I want to get there quickly." ((OOC: sorry for the short post, got a migraine the size of sydney.))

Artemis watched as the airport and a quick escape, if anything was to go wrong, grew further away. Even now after knowing how much Joanna had done for her she still felt uncomfortable going into a situation she knew nothing about. An the the fact that at any moment they could turn around and arrest her for her crimes didn't make her feel any better. She sighed a bit as she watched the airport disappear in the side view mirror, and that meant there was no turning back now. She was at a since in enemy territory, and it didn't make her feel comfortable at all. ((Artemis and Joanna moving to the BSAA Meeting Room
