I had gotten everything in every area of the game. Hell, I got the achievements for having every GPS, treasure map, relic, and document, and somehow I still got a 99% complete. I imagine it has something to do with not having my weapons all fully upgraded, but not completely sure. Guess I'll have to play through for the third time (which I have no problem with.)
Then I moved onto the multiplayer, in which I had gotten to level 46 and then the multiplayer glitched and sent me all theee wayyyy back to level 1. Called XBOX Support, and they gave me no help at all. Looked up some help on Crystal Dynamics' forums, and I also got nothing. So then I played all the way back to 46, and eventually got to 60, where I prestiged and finally was able to play as Lara. Unfortunately, I'd have to prestige two more times before I can actually get the achievement for having all characters unlocked in the multiplayer. -_- Hate dem multiplayer achievements.

I hate to make matters worse, you practically need to prestige 4 times. The Compound Bow unlocks at 58 and you need to purchase all characters and upgrades for the achievement.
Start up a solo match of Rescue, set the time limit to 20, the capture limit to 20, and then finish the match as fast as possible. You get extra points for how far you carry the package, and you can sort of stack that by dropping it half way, getting 500 points for a long carry, then pick it up and carry it the rest of the way for a medium carry netting another 200 points. The best map I could figure out for it was Chasm; you can make a curcuit which lets you pickup salvage as well (and you'll nee an odd 280K to purchase everything, not including characters). The grind lasts maybe 30 hours, I didn't exactly time it. If done right you should get 30000 points in a matter of 8 minutes, which is staggering considering in some of my best matches I might only rack up 5K in 10 minutes, 13K if I do really well at FFA.
As for single player, you know you can return to the island on an old save, right? Drop back in, collect some more salvage or experience and upgrade that weapon mod you missed. All things regarded, I think I just pulled in enough experience and salvage to complete all skills and upgrades just before the end of the game. The collection ratio is pretty well balanced in Tomb Raider.

I know you can play on old save, but I like playing the game over for the story again. Especially the Alex scene, even though Lara could have done better than a kiss on the cheek. Last thing he'll remember is being friend-zoned.
As for the rescue trick, I can only stand doing so much of that before I get tired of it and quit. I think that is probably one of the reasons I got tired of playing the multiplayer so quickly, that repetition, albeit, being one-shot from across the map with a bow at my spawn might also have something to do with it, even though I did the same. Don't think I'll be able to get through prestiging thrice more.

SPOILER nearly forgot this thing
Alex was a bit of a one dimentional chode. His "I'ma be a hero!" was terribly weak and I think maybe, just maybe, Lara's kiss saved scene. This was enforced even more with the hammy monologue of his diary you find before locating him. It just came off B-grade creepy. Had it been more you had to rescue Alex, pull his sorry ass out, then slap him for his stupidity, that would have been some nice character interaction. All in all, he deserved to be friend-zoned.
Also considering angle and positioning if Lara had given him a full on pash she would have been liable to be shot in the head by one of the hobos standing on the catwalk above. Survival, see.
Like Reyes' conflict with Lara. I was surprised she continued to frown on her later on in the game considering she let it up so soon after first snapping at her after Roth's death. I seriously thought the personal conflict was just going to be dropped; thankfully it was held.
The moments between Lara and Roth are easily my favorites. I love how she inherits his pistols, marking a sort of sentimentality behind her signature double down doom makers rather than just "she has a couple of twin pistols." Plus using them against Mathias at the end is the icing on the cake. I hate QTEs to the bone, and there was probably no consequence or difficulty to it, yet that is the most thrilling QTE I've ever done.
