Edgey... You spelled "kinesis" wrong. ^^ Reading minds can fall under telepathy.
I was expecting a higher amount of characters to be required. Like around five characters or so. At first I liked the idea of making a super, but then I cam to realize that everyone and their grandpa is gonna make one. So I won't. I'm pretty sure the requirement of having to be a member of RERPG for 4 months (and have more than 250 posts-- that way you have to stay active) will prevent any new people from creating a bunch of supers. I've made about 5 or 6 characters in the past four months, so I'd say people will hit more than the 3 character mark by the time they're even able to make one anyway.

Well the way users have been reacting to this... there might not be any real Supers hanging around. Hahaha go figure!

Another thing, Miles; supers need to have a good reason why they're super. Virally, scientifically and storyline-wise. It's gotta be there, just has to. Yeeaah, don't worry. That's why I specify 2 paragraphs for description of why and how it happened and a section for describing the mutation.

Hey Admins,
Who would be the best person to send questions to about Superhumans to? Before I start on one, I am just looking for guidance on what is acceptable, examples and such.

I'm working on a superhuman, but I'm trying to keep it in the realm of Resident Evil (no X-men or such). I'm explaining it as experimentation by Tricell, but it will involve multiple virus' mixed together to form a new virus. Is that okay. I plan on having the knowledge taken with my character so that only he has the information. BUMP EDIT: 07/27/2011 Hey Admins, I'm working on my character Dalton Quinn. His super human mutations are up so I would love some feedback. He will be infected by a virus in a Tricell lab to cause these mutations. I'm going to expand on that in the history, but I wasn't sure if it was too much. I also put weaknesses in there so that he isn't invulnerable. Please let me know what you think.

Okay so reading through the rules of Super Humans, I was upset by the fact that anythingkenesis is banned. Are there any that may not be? Here is a list on the wiki. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychokinesis

I'll just paste it all here. Save time.
•Telekinesis: movement of matter at the micro or macro (visible objects, life forms, etc.) levels; move, lift, agitate, vibrate, spin, bend, break, or impact) •Speed up or slow down the naturally occurring vibrations of atoms in matter to alter temperature,[40] possibly to the point of ignition if combustible (also known as pyrokinesis when speeding up vibrations, and cryokinesis when slowing them down).[41] •Self levitation (rising in the air unsupported, flying).[42] •Influencing events (sports, gambling, election, prolongation of life, etc.).[42] •Biological healing.
•Teleportation (disappearing and reappearing elsewhere).[34][42][44] •Phasing through matter.[42] •Electro-psychokinesis, the ability to control any and all electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical devices such as computers, elevators, FAX machines, etc. •Transmutation of matter.[42][45] •Metamorphosis Shape-shifting.[46] •Energy shield (force field).[47] •Control of magnetism.[42] •Control of photons (light waves/particles).[48] •Thoughtform projection aka telepathic projection (a physically perceived person, animal, creature, object, ghostly entity, etc., created in the mind and projected into three-dimensional space and observable by others
I don't see any reason as to WHY the virus would do any of these.
Except for the Electro-psychokinesis given by the T+G Virus from Dead Aim, but no, not here in the RP site, people will rage quit.

Nice list. I'll put them in the guidelines if any of you haven't already. I gotta know though, what do those numbers on the end of each dot point mean?
>> Actually I'm leaving shapeshifting out. That sounds too much like we're telling people their supers can't mutate which is something they totally can do.

Hrm. While I can do without the kinesis bit, I do question how they are marked as magic when anything of the sort is generally scientific.
If the staff would think it over, would it not be possible to allow a kinesis ability if it is explained in a reasonable and detailed manner as such to allow such power within set limitations to allow supers to be super yet still keeping them from being overly powered?
