The Arklay Sheriffs department is also home to the local Wild Life Association and Fish and Game federal Agencies. This is a 3 floor building with a watch tower on one end to look out for forest fires.

Jay laughed nerviously as she looked at Giddeon. She watched as Elijha stood up and stepped out beside Giddeon. It seemed that she wasn't going to leave his side for anything. Though Jay felt bad about it she was kind of greatful at the same time. At least there was someone there to protect him if she had lost it again. She looked to Fira who seemingly pushed her to her feet. "Go- it's cold out and we don't want to get sick, " she said with a laugh.
"Sick? Were going to be trampsing around in the woods and your worried about us getting sick," Jay finally laughed. She looked at Giddeon and smiled weakly. "Alright," she said picking up her weapons from the secured box and holstering them. She moved out of the chopper and stood at the door as Fira got out.
"Lets go in before the flairs go out," Fira said as she grabbed Jay's hand and dragged her toward the door. "Com' on you two," she shouted back toward Giddeon and Elijha.
Elijha shook her head as she fell in step with Giddeon. She didn't say anything mostly for the fact she didn't know what to say. She felt a buit guilty on what was going on here, but she knew that it was for their own good. She was happy and yet jelous at the same time that Giddeon had fallen for someone. She always wanted him to be hers and yet she couldn't give him what Jay could. She finally looked at Giddeon and nodded slightly. "Now it's only a matter of time," she said lightly as she held the door open for him.

As Everyone went inside Wade was already making friends talking and joking around with the local teams. Once everything had settled Giddeon went downstairs behind Koni where the leader of the local teams started talking to Wade. "We've been surveying the area and this seems to be your best point of entry." He then pressed a button on a holo-projecter showing a map of the area. "First you should cross the Raccoon dam. There are some blocades and a few walkers but it is free of any BOW activity. From there head through the capm grounds in the forest and aproach the facility from the south." With that said Wade nodded.
"Sounds good." Koni said getting up. "C-mon Wade. Let's get you and Gina get suited up. I'll head outside and take a look around." Koni then opened the door and exited as Gina and Wade went to the wall which was aligned with weapons. Wade looked at it curiously, it was obvious he and Gina hadn't been in the field in awhile. With the help of the others, Wade took down an AK-47 with a half-moon clip along with an ingram at his side. Gina picked out an MP5 and a revolver. Wade then looked back.
"We should hurry. They say the area is pretty clear now but if we wait too long that could change. Bye everyone and thanks." As he lest through the door, Giddeo took a look at the guns on the wall. Not seeing anything he had never seen before he looked up at the second floor to see if the girls were coming. Seeing them arive on the balcony he went to the door and headed outside. Once out he noticed how windy it was. The sheriffs station was surrounded by agents and a few snipers and floodlights iluminated the entire area. Taking the M16 in hand he walked up to Wade.
"You should probably let Jay and I take the lead. You two stay in the middle and we'll have Fira and Elijia stay behind and have Koni stay with you." Wade nodded. He then looked concerned.
"Just make sure you two keep your distance. We only have two shots and we don't know how bad in infection has become." He then reach to his belt. "I have three of these decoy grenades. Take one and give the other to Jay. It's basically like katnip to BOW's." Wade then looked back at the door. "What is taking those three? Are your friends always this slow?" Giddeon then shrugged.
"I don't know. Maybe Jays just worried about going back into the field concidering what happened last time. Plus I don't know how long it's been since Elijias been in a hot zone. Just give them a bit. Once Jay and Fira get into it they'll take to it all like fish to water."

Patient Zero hid in the forest behind foliage and trees. He looked at the people moving around through the windows of the Sheriff's Department. Even though he had just eaten, the soldier had been underweight, and he need more food for later. He looked for quarry that would satisfy his taste, both in quantity and quality. He had always been a picky individual. As a human, Patient Zero had been a wearer of designer clothes and a man who fancied gourmet meals. He had on-call Italian chefs to make his dinners and lunches, had his own farm for beef and chicken, he was a new age Roman. He loved to break bread and sample wines, taste great meats and cheeses. He was picky, yet easy to please. Umbrella changed all of that when they experimented on him. He didn't care as much for his food, as long as it was fresh, and large in amount. To him, it all tasted the same.Bone...meat...skin...organs...it didn't matter anymore. Hunger was hunger, and food was food. Still, he liked being a little picky, fatter ones come first. He looked and saw them laughing, smiling. Underneath his gas mask, he smiled too. Patient Zero then sighed and thought: My smile...ugly...theirs...pretty....He waited for them to come out, so he could pick and choose further. "Giddeon I prefer the stealth type since I am a hacker first and a fighter second," Elijha said as she walked out of the building holding up her weapon. She looked at Giddeon and nodded slightly. "Besides I think I can handle myself pretty well." She looked up as Fira dragged Jay out of the building by the wrist.
"She was taking forever, but I had to pull her out," she said as she let go of Jay. "Go take point with Giddeon, but keep a distance," she said lightly as she took up point beside Elijha. "Jay remember what I told you, and then everything is going to be fine. Were only a matter of miles from everything being the way its suppose to be," she said lightly. "Ready when you two are."
Jay looked at Fira and nodded her head slightly. She looked up at Giddeon with a weak smile as she took point beside him, well about ten feet away from him. Giving her enough room to be close to him, but at a safe distance as well. She nodded to Giddeon before smiling again. "Alright, lets go." With that they started moving out threw the woods. Jay keeping her eyes trained on their surroundings. Mostly for the fact for the last couple of hours she had been feeling weird again, so she was trying to find anything the could to keep her mind off of Giddeon.

Once they were away from the bright lights of the base, Wade and Giddeon flipped down the visor turning on the nightvision function. As they walked Wade spoke up. "You know, Jay, I can understand if your nervous. Although we're in this for different reasons we're both sharing the same risks. I also want you to know that I'll go first...to make sure this works out. I wouldn't want something go wrong for you. But nothing should, Gina remembers the system and has been practicing on a simulator. I managed to hack the program unfortunatley we don't have the technology to duplicate it." Koni the frowned taking out her sidearm.
"Nor should we. After we're done with this little experiment I say we shoulld destroy this device. Man shouldn't hold the power of pro-longed life in such a fashion." Giddeon then got concerned.
"What are you going to do? You know, when you get older. Questions are going to come up once you reach 100 and you still look like you do now. If you keep this technology to yourself some might be angry." Gina smiled and walked up to Wade.
"Don't worry. Wade is going to start looking for a replacement once we get back home isn't that right? It's time he retired and concentrated on his family." Wade then smiled.
"Can I still venture around the net from time to time?" Gina then smiled and played with Wades hair.
"Wade may retire but MyKey will live on till the day he dies." Upon hearing this Giddeon looked back at Jay letting her know he ws thinking about her.
"How are you holding up?" He asked. "Just so you know I talked to Koni and I got ourselves a setup for after this mission." Koni then nodded.
"Thats right. A team is moving some of your things to the Hupazi syndicates headquarters in the safe part of Tokyo." Giddeon then looked back and smiled.
"Thought we could use a vacation. A REAL vacation. See the sights and have time for ourselves."

Jay flinched when Giddeon spoke. She was hoping that she could keep her mind off of him, but it didn't look like that was going to happen. She turned to look at him, and smiled. "That would be nice. We've been due for a long vacation," she said lightly as she looked back out into the woods. Her hands gripping the edge of her M16 rather tightly. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before opening them again. Unlike the others she didn't need her visors, at the moment she could see as clear as day during the night.
Fira skipped slightly being a bit joyful in being back out in the field. "It's been quite some time since we've been here," she said as she looked up at Elijha, and noticed how she looked at Jay. "Don't think about it. Were going to save her, and remember if you lay a hand on her you'll have to deal with me," she whispered.
Elijha looked at Fira and smiled. "You don't have to worry. If I lay a hand on your friend it'll be to save mine, and what ever happens after that I don't really care. Now be quite and pay attention," she growled slightly as she turned back to the woods. Fira puffed out her cheeks, and turned to study the surrounding woods.

Patient Zero began slowly stalking the group that had left. He was trying to decide which one he should take. The female in front was talking alot, but she was very cautious. Patient Zero felt that she had a vague awareness of his presence. He discounted her immediately since she was not only alert, but a female.
He looked farther down. A lot of women were in this group, he was having difficulty picking someone out. Patient Zero hated hurting women, but hunger comes before morals in this life. He was contemplating the loud-mouthed one in front before he saw his quarry.
It was a man, a short distance behind the girl in front. He was about the right size...good figure, meat on his bones...a tasty meal should he go about the means of acquiring it. No doubt he would be attacked, Patient Zero could see some kind of a connection between the man and the girl in front.
Love....overrated Patient Zero thought to himself.
Preparing himself, he rushed out from the trees and tackled the man known as Giddeon into the treeline across from where he came.
Patient Zero stood up, letting loose a terrible roar. The noise frightened birds all around. He looked down at the man whose life he was getting ready to take. He removed his gas mask slightly, smiling at the man.

Jay turned as she heard Giddeon hit the ground. Her eyes already as red as blood, and her teeth as sharp as a wolfs. She flexed her hands as her weapon dropped to the ground. Her nails nearly growing out into razor sharp blades. She growled as she dashed forward without thinking. Her hand's gripping the creature by the neck as she lifted him from Giddeon, and slammed him into a tree. The force causing the tree to splinter as she did. She brought her fist up slamming it into the creature, and did it several time before the tree itself broke.
Elijha raised her weapon holding it at the ready, but with Jay in the way she could never take a shot, and it looked like the others were having the same problem. Though for the first time she was glade that Jay had changed. She had probably just saved Giddeon's life.

Patient Zero was rocked by the tree, a ringing sound going off in his head. He could feel his neck bleeding, but thought nothing of it.
Angry with this female, he rushed her and slammed her against another tree, and began pummeling her with his fists. He punched her in the face, the stomach, the chest and all around. He knew he would have to stop eventually and get away, as he was completely outnumbered, but he would repay the favor to this odd woman. He would make her know pain. He left his back exposed.

Jay growled as she glared at the creature. Feeling the punches, but paying no mind to them. "He's mine," she barked as she stopped one of his punches cold in her hand. Tilting her hand up ward and bending his own back. She stood from the tree, and hit him square in the chest, knowing him back across the path. Jay glared as she ran forward slamming her shoulder into his chest, and then bringing her fist down into his face, over and over again. "NO ONE TOUCHES GIDDEON BUT ME!!" she barked as she contined to throw punch after puch. Each one growing stronger as her body continued to transform.

Patient Zero could feel the pain from this creature. He had never felt anything like it, never experienced such sadistic pleasure. He smiled as he took her punches. Finally growing tired of the pain, he grabs her head in both hands. Holding her out, he lets out a deep, throaty breath equivalent to a laugh.
He throws her at the group on the path, then does the same with Giddeon who had yet to get up, throwing him on top of her. Putting his mask back on, he runs quickly into the woods farther up the path. He was attempting to lose his new playmate, who he imagined he would get to know better over the coming hours.
New...fun he thought, smiling. He had never felt such excitement. It was starting to negate his hunger. Most meals, or potential meals had been rather boring, unless he face a large armed group. They would give him some trouble, but he had never had a small women manhandle him as such. It was a new experience, and he wouldn't mind playing again.

Jay laid there panting heavily as she kept her eyes cloths. Even though she had changed, the beating alone she had taken took a tole on her body. She was still human in any case, but in the end she knew she was hurting. She wanted to get up, but her body wanted to stay down. It wasn't until she felt Giddeon land on top of her that she opened her eyes. She growled slightly as she reached up gripping him by the throat and slamming him on the ground. She leaned knelt down over him even though she was in pain, her animilistic instincts were taking over. "You are mine," she growled.
Elijha moved forward in attempt to get Jay off of Giddeon, but in turn was back handed and she hit the ground hard. She bit her lip as she looked up at Jay, and absently went for her gun, but stopped when Fira stepped into her path. "G- get her off of him," she said as she climbed to her feet holding her chest slightly.

Standing on a hill behind a few trees, Patient Zero watched the situation he had created. He was still hungry, but his amusement was starting to take precedence to dining. The female seemed to be the dominant in the relationship, not the average case. He smiled as he thought how weak his former species had become.
Shame...deep inside...but still...Fun.. He thought.
He folded his arms and stood watching. The female appeared to share traits with him. Primitive instincts...strength...speed and above all a great anger. He was usually angry when he killed and devoured someone. Patient Zero had to be when he killed someone, or he didn't feel right. It was just superstition.
Humans....don't know....pain...don't know......past He thought.
Maybe this woman was a defunct experiment like himself. Maybe they had something in common. Maybe they were both normal before whoever came in and twisted their lives around.
No... He thought.
She couldn't be anymore than a toy to him now. Someone to beat up on once in awhile. He had a small resentment, because she could pass for normal as she had before. She could blend in. Patient Zero looked at his reflection in a puddle in front of him.
Failed...Franken...stein. Waste...time. He thought somberly.
At least now he had something exciting to look forward too. He now eyed the other male. A girl had messed with his hair earlier. He was a new quarry now....a new meal. Patient Zero decided to wait out the current drama before moving in on his pray.
Tonight.....Nightmare...you. He thought, smiling.

Giddeon stuggled to take in air but was constantly blocked from doing so. Wade instantly went for his wrist computer and locked down all of Jays weaponry. Unfortunately he couldn't shock Jay without doing the same to Giddeon. Giddeon tried kneeing Jay in the somache but nothing happened. Seeing what was going on Koni left her guard of Gina and Wade to enter the battle. Knowing the proper pressure points of the body Koni kenlt down on a certain point of Jays back which loosened her muscles. She then wrapped her arms around Jays and pried them away from Giddeons neck. Breathless, Giddeon backed off as Koni pinned her to the ground.
"Gina, if you would." She said between her teeth struggling with Jay. Hurrying to the scene, Gina pulled out the syringe in a pouch to her side. After squirting out some liquid she poked it into Jay's thigh and injected the substance in. Once done she then backed up.
"How long will that stuff take to start working?" Giddeon asked rubbing his neck. Koni continued to stuggle to hold her down.
"It's hard to say." Gina said. "She's getting worse so it may take alittle longer than it did the last time. A few minutes I would guess." Koni then looked over at Fira.
"Fira, stay by Wade and Gina, keep them safe."
