Fira nodded as she as she raised her Ak-47 and moved toward Gina. "I've got them covered," she said though her eyes darted toward Elijha for a moment before returning to her surroundings. She glanced back toward Jay with worry every now and again.
Elijha looked up at Fira knowing well enough what the looks were for. She payed no mind as she moved toward Giddeon's side. Though once she had reached his side it had dawned on her what would happen if Jay seen it. She seen how she reached toward that creature when it attacked Giddeon. She looked up at Jay as she continued to struggle against Koni, though it seemed that she had nothing to worry about. Koni, though struggling, seemed to be winning the battle against Jay.
Jay continued to struggle for a bit longer. Kicking her feet in attempts to gain some type of ground, but she could fell herself growing weaker. The pain from the creature coming back ten fold as she was slowly reverting back to her normal self. Her hands returning to normal, as her fangs disappeared. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she looked up in fear as her eyes returned to their normal color. Jay finally stopped fighting against Koni and just laid there breathing rather heavily. Her body hurt, her head hurt, and even her heart hurt. It wouldn't be so bad if she couldn't remember, but she could remember . . . remember everything that happened and it hurt a lot to remember. Though she didn't say anything she just laid there in Koni's arms staring at the ground almost as if she was dazed, though the tears in her eyes were prof she wasn't.

Koni eased Jay up and Gina quickly came to her side. "How are you feeling honey?" Gina asked her concerned. Giddeon smiled walking up while rubbing his neck.
"Thanks. I think you just about saved my life back there." He then looked out into the woods. "I've never seen a creature like that before though. It wasn't so strong...more like it came out of no where and caught me by suprise." He then looked around with his nightvision on. "I don't see it anymore. We should move ahead." Before he left he gave Jay a coy look. "And you and me will finish wrestling later." Gina let out a giggle looking at Wade who smiled. Meanwhile Koni rolled her eyes as they continued to move foreward, Gina helping Jay along.
"I think we need to find Koni a man." She said to Jay so that Koni could hear. Koni huffed.
"Thank you but no. Men are supposted to be fighters...not lovers. Forgive me for being old fashion but I believe men should play the place of the warrior." Wade then smiled.
"And where does that leave you?" Koni then got frustrated once more.
"Someone needs to teach you boys how its done."

Patient Zero wasn't done yet. He wanted to play around a little more.
Keeping a distance, he planned ahead along where the path followed. He'd been there many times, and he knew where to set up another attack.

[Rebecca and Louis enter from Raccoon City Hospital]Rebecca watched through the window of the car lazily as they drove, wondering where they were going. She fiddled with the radio absentmindedly to see if she could find anything, but it really wasn't any use. The city scape of concrete and metal slowly melted into trees and forests. " Uh... Where are we going...?" She finally asked, looking at Louis wearily. Despite everything, she had only known him a day and they were driving into a strange place she wasn't very familiar with. It sketched her out a little, but she didn't let it show. They pulled up to a tall building with a watch tower and she cupped her hands around her eyes and pressed to the window, squinting. What was this place?

Louis pulled the car up to the Sherrifs Station in the Arklay Mountains. Its was quite a short drive due to his fast driving, he took a good route. Looking around the place before even getting out of the car, he could see that it was very, very quiet in the middle of nowhere. "Wait here, no questions..." The car put off a loud noise as he turned off the engine, and slammed the door shut after getting out. Stepping to the front of the car, Louis looked back and fourth between the eastern treeline and the western treeline. After a good two minutes, that seemed much longer, he walked over to the passenger side door, and opened it up for Rebecca. But as she was getting out of the car, there was a rustle in the trees on both sides. "Run! Go! Get inside!" Louis backed to the Sheriffs Department, following Rebecca, and then began to open fire as one of the dogs jumped toward her. Taking six rounds, it was twitching on the ground, while the others were picking up speed. By the time Rebecca got inside, Louis jumped onto the hood of the car, and began pecking off the dogs that tried to jump up with him. For the few that made it, or were clever enough to get up on the front, he booted them away effortlesely. Once he ran out of ammunition, Louis dropped his SMG to his side with shoulder sling inside his jacket, and sprinted to the door. Rebecca had opened it for him watching the scene from a boarded up window. Before going inside, Louis spun around, and kicked the remaining dog violently, jamming his steel toe boot into the side of its head. Rebecca had closed the door behind them, and Louis was already working on pulling a large filing cabinate over infront of the entrance way. It was big enough to block the narrow path leading into the lobby, and sturdy enough to use as a barricade if the door was smashed in. Looking around the place, he didnt know what to make of it. It didnt look like a slaughter house, it looked pretty untouched on the inside. Walking up to the front desk, Louis rang the bell, but obviously nobody answered. "I thought this place would be a little more lively, but I guess I was wrong. This is the Arklay Mountain Sheriff's Department, probably wasnt effected much by the outbreak due to its remote location..."Jumping over the desk, ignoring the walk around section, Louis began looking through drawers and shelves to find a set of keys for the place. He wasnt much for lockpicking, and the doors would be pretty solid for the simple fact that it was a police station. Glancing over at a nearby door, he saw a dark figure passing by, and dropped the search for a key. Pulling out his gun and aiming toward the eastern hallway, scanning the doors for any that might have been open already. "Rebecca, I think we might have some company. Keep your guard up..." Not like he really had to tell her, she already knew well enough that when your partner takes out his gun, you do the same, because theres a good reason to. Louis only hoped that it was another infected, he wasnt in the mood for dealing with some shaken up rookie cop.

Jonathan followed the light to a large, three floored building complete with a watchtower. It was no doubt to him that the building had been originally used for fire watching and quite possibly, as to its size, was the fish and game office. Either way, it had to be considerably safer than standing in the woods.
He walked around the front of the building after noticing that the back entrance had a padlock on it. Once around front, he took note of some spent casings on the ground and the carcasses of carrier dogs lying on the ground.
"Hmmm," he noted aloud, "children of the night." He then walked toward the door in hopes of getting in, but as he pushed on it, it didn't budge which meant that it had been barricaded. A rustling in the woods caught Jonathan's attention and he turned in the direction.
A zombified dog jumped out and ran at him. Jonathan sighed, "Oh really?" He wasn't armed and didn't feel up to fighting considering that the dogs often traveled in packs like wolves and would overwhelm him, so he chose to run. He ran around the building and toward the padlocked entrance. Once up the steps and at the entrance, one of the dogs met him there and jumped at him.
Jonathan reacted quickly and stuck up his arms to fall backward with the dog's momentum and then monkey flipped it over the banister to the ground below. He then quickly went to the padlock and raised his leg quickly and kicked down on it snapping it allowing him entry into the building. Once inside, he pushed a desk in front of it and then made his way into the hallway where he came face-to-face with a familiar person pointing a gun at him.
Jonathan removed his sunglasses and smirked at Luis, "Really now? You really think that will hurt me? Tsk, tsk....I though Joey told you better." He then began slowly making his way toward Luis and Rebecca, still smirking, "Why don't you tell me where he and Raine are?"

Rebecca waited inside of the car as Luis looked around. She watched him carefully, playing with the strap of her bag to occupy her hands. Maybe Lu was just being protective, which was sweet in it's own way, but it still made her feel like a little kid. She got out quickly when he pulled open the door for her. "Thanks..." She mumbled, but it was cut off by his hurried yell. Hearing the rustling as well, she gripped her gun and ran to the exit. The benefit of being so tiny- she was fast and agile. When one of the dogs jumped at her she covered her head and ducked, very nearly screaming, but clamping her mouth shut at the last second. What the frick, they come in dog, too?! She thought, not vocalizing her commentary as she felt that if she were to open her mouth the scream would escape. She ducked inside and watched as Luis took on the dogs. Whether he noticed or not, she'd stuck her gun through a crack in the boards and shot at a few of them. It pulled on her heartstrings, shooting at a dog, but she still managed to cover him decently efficiently. To the point where when he made a break for the door, he got there safely. She didn't like not being useful.
She moved out of the way and let him blockade the door, though frowning. He really shouldn't be putting that much strain on his arm... She thought, her inside tone echoing that of the aunt who had raised her. She shook her head but didn't speak aloud, she looked over at him with her usual intense stare when he spoke.
"I thought this place would be a little more lively, but I guess I was wrong. This is the Arklay Mountain Sheriff's Department, probably wasnt effected much by the outbreak due to its remote location..."
"Ahh... I see..." She looked around, keeping any other thoughts to herself. Choosing to walk around instead of climb over the desk, she followed him, keeping her gun ready. She saw the keys almost immediately and picked them up, about to state her finding when things suddenly got tense. She followed his gaze and slipped the keys into her pocket, just in case they were needed.
"Rebecca, I think we might have some company. Keep your guard up..." He stated, and she swallowed, already having her gun ready. She expected an infected, but blinked in surprise when they met face to face with a man who took off a pair of sunglasses and began to speak.
"Really now? You really think that will hurt me? Tsk, tsk....I though Joey told you better." He started making his way towards them and she tensed, tightening her grip on her gun. "Why don't you tell me where he and Raine are?" Rebecca shot a side glance at Luis, stepping up beside him. She wasn't gonna be the little kid anymore.
"....Luis, who is he?" She hissed. What did he mean guns wouldn't hurt him..? She didn't know him, but he gave her a very bad feeling. Like there was something to fear. She looked back at the man and readied her finger on the trigger. "Stay back." She warned, keeping her bright green eyes staring at him intensely. "I'm serious!" She tried to sound stern, but it was an odd tone coming from the small young woman.

"I am a ghost of the past," Jonathan began calmly continuing to move forward displaying no fear of the girl or her weapon, "a ghost out to clear up some loose ends that you, my dear, need not worry about."
Jonathan took note of the weapon that she was holding and smirked a sly and cocky grin before shaking his head and putting his sunglasses back on, "Really? How about you holster the weapon before you get yourself hurt?" Jonathan glanced toward Luis, "You had best tell her....I'd hate for her to shoot me and end up getting herself killed. I can be very vicious when angered."
He continued walking down the dark hallway that most people wouldn't be able to wear sunglasses in, but for some reason Jonathan could pull it off and make it look good. He stopped a few feet in front of the two and looked at Luis, totally disregarding the teenage girl with him as he didn't see her as a real threat...neither of them were threats to be exact, "Now, on to business... tell me what I want and I will be on my way. Otherwise, things are going to get very messy."

Rebecca held the gun tighter and glared at the man with complete lack of amusement, blowing a stray bit of hair from her eyes with a huff. The girl was never one to get mad or even upset very easily, but this guy was really ****ing her off. She clenched her teeth to stop herself from speaking and to keep herself under control. Put the gun down before I hurt myself? I've been handling guns for as long as I can rightly remember, how dare he? Who the hell does this pompous jerk think he is?! She kept her gaze on him, standing her ground as he drew nearer and staying completely silent, letting out a long and annoyed breath through her clenched teeth.

As the man entered his view, Louis kept his gun trained on him, not really sure how to react. But once he spoke out, in that familliar and chilling tone, he knew all too well who the man was. This is where things got interesting, Louis wasnt really friends with the man, but he wasnt any closer 'friends' with Joey. In a sense, both Jonathan and Louis were on the same side, both looking for Joey. However, this wasnt the time to be thinking about his own personal vengence, this was serious business.
Louis wasnt afraid of Jonathan, dispite him being a godly figure. He knew exactly what the man was capable of, but saw no reason to start up anything with him in the first place. Louis really had no idea where Raine and Joey were, but he was willing to have a good thought about it if it was the difference between getting Rebecca involved, or simply giving Jonathan what he asked for. "...Theyre not in Arklay, I can tell you that. But if I could give you one good guess, it would have to be a question. Where was the last place youve seen them before the outbreak?" Evidently, judging by the look on his face, the two men had the same idea. Sunset Hills.
After lowering his gun, Louis put it inside his jacket, and then moved his hand on top of Rebeccas. Pushing her gun down, he nodded, making sure she knew that it was alright. "Its okay, hes a friend..." This, was a lie. Jonathan was in no way a friend of Louis', but he wasnt an enemy, either. Louis stared at the man, without making a single blink. Walking forward slowely, he kept eye contact, assuring him that there was no need for conflict, almost transfering a signal to him that said 'leave her out of this'. Stopping nearly two feet from him, Louis spoke out in a low tone, just loud enough for Jonathan to hear. "You wont be able to kill him... even I couldnt do that..."

It didn't take Jonathan long to calculate everything in his head and realize that Luis was telling the truth and that he was going to have to travel to his old housing area to find Joey and Raine. As the two guns were removed from being pointed in his direction, Jonathan relaxed more. Though normal weapons only dealt minor damage to him, the pain was still very real and as much as he would have loved to have seen if the girl had the guts to pull the trigger on another seemingly normal human being, he didn't want to feel the pain of the bullets. Instead, he focused on Luis.
"Well, thank you for your help...as minute as it was," Jonathan said with his usual cold tone and he glanced toward Rebecca and let out a breath, "strange...she looks familiar. Almost as if I have seen her somewhere before, but she is too young..." He then thought for a moment trying to place a face, but came up with nothing, but then again, it really didn't matter in the first place who she was. She was as expendable as anyone else who had managed to survive the nightmare that had become the world.
"Don't take this personally, but I do hope for your sake that we never meet face-to-face again, Luis," Jonathan remarked as he turned away and began walking down the hallway. He stopped a few paces from the two of them and turned his head to be heard, "I mean that, too....and take care of your girlfriend there. She's young and inept, but....maybe one day she'll be worth something if she lives long enough." With that, Jonathan, as usual, took his leave and walked on down the hallway toward the door he had come in. He didn't need to hang around in one place longer than was necessary as it was dangerous.
He hadn't so much as gotten to the doorway when he heard it...and smelt it....the undead, lots of them and they were coming closer. He ran to the windows and looked out and then across the room to the other. They were literally surrounding the place, no doubt drawn in by the smell of blood...living blood. "Blast..." Jonathan hated working with other people, especially people he didn't particularly like....everyone practically, but this time was necessity and he walked back down the hallway toward Luis and Rebecca.
"It seems that we are going to have company," he remarked in a calm, somewhat humored tone, "take a look out the window."

When Louis pushed her gun down, she allowed it, but she didn't put it away. Being the type of person she was, she didn't vocalize her annoyance, but simply kept her teeth clenched. She bristled he looked over at her and wrinkled her nose when he spoke. Just leave already... She thought with unusual impatience, staring straight back at him and locking eyes. She bit her tongue at the next comment he made to stop herself from speaking. If she stayed quiet hopefully he'd leave sooner rather than later. Her logic worked out in her favor and he started to leave. She let her shoulders drop subtly and relaxed a bit. Despite what Louis has said, she could tell he wasn't exactly a friend.
She took a nice long inhale and a nice long exhale to calm herself down, which worked pretty efficiently up until he walked back towards them. "It seems that we are going to have company," He had remarked in a calm, somewhat humored tone as he made his way back to them. "take a look out the window."
"You've gotta be kidding me!" Rebecca huffed, letting words slip from her mouth without thought. She tightened her grip on the gun and walked impatiently to the window just as two infected pressed up to the glass. She took two quick shots, on reflex, and hit them both square in the middle of the forehead. She blinked once or twice as she was a bit surprised at her own aim, and then she cracked her neck. "Yeah, inept my ass, jerk." She mumbled under her breath, checking her gun over quickly while she had time and then looking over at Louis. He'd run out of ammo for his gun earlier, she recalled, and so she dug in her bag and tossed him some extra. She didn't want him to be caught without bullets.
Ignoring Jonathan, she perched herself at the window and started picking off the ones she could see.

Jonathan paid no attention to the witty remark by Rebecca and instead walked down the hallway into another room where the undead were beating their way in. Jonathan had no weapons to speak of other than his fists, which were weapons enough, but he still wanted some sort of weapon to keep distance. He also wanted to find a way to slow the zombies down to buy the three of them some time.
He grabbed a coat rack and broke it at the top over his leg making a make-shift spearing weapon out of it. He then looked around the room not seeing anything that could barricade the windows, "Okay...scratch that idea." The window then broke and two zombies fell into the room. More windows broke in the building as the sound of breaking glass filled the bottom floor. This wasn't looking good. Jonathan left the room and closed the door behind him before pulling a bench along the wall and barricading it in hopes of slowing down the undead that had probably filled the room.
He then rejoined the others in the other side of the hallway, "Okay...we have to get higher, the dead move slo-" He then reared back with the spear and stuck it inches from Rebecca's nose into an undead's head. He released the spear allowing the zombified pizza boy to fall to the floor twitching. "This is pointless. We have to move...NOW!" He then motioned over toward a doorway with the marking 'stairs' on the door, "There! Hurry!"

If only Louis had more ammunition in his machine gun, this would have been easier. But he did have enough ammo with his handgun that taking down the ones that came close would be easy as cake. By the time Rebecca had been shooting at the infected that came through the doorway, Louis made his way to the other wing, hoping that there were too many entrances. However, now that they were making enough noise, it seemed the bottom floor would be pretty much flooding with them in a matter of minutes. He saw a back door, that seemed to have a small amount of infected blocking it, but it was a way out of this place. Before he could call to the others, Jonathan was at the staircase door. That was a better idea.
"Okay!" Louis ran back to the lobby where they all had stood before, and took a few well aimed shots at the infected that were getting too close to Rebecca. "Hes right, we have to go, now. Follow him!" Louis could tell that Rebecca didnt like man, it was understandable, the only people that couldnt truley like the guy would be cold hearted bastards like himself. This was the reason Louis didnt start up conflict, this was the reason he didnt tense up when he showed his face. There was an invisable connection between them, they both had something is common. The only thing slowing Louis down was that he was human. But this kept him on his toes, he could live all these years with a sense of regret, but in the end, he was still alive.
After rushing up the stairs, Louis heard Jonathan kicking open the door to the next floor. Louis caught it, and then held it open for Rebbeca while the staircase started to become a passage for the infected. Slamming the door behind them, he locked it with the deadbolt. This was a Sheriffs Department, they would probably need some serious protection on the doors for obvious reason. But another thing on Louis' mind was getting to the storage section of the place, and getting himself some guns. Or, as last resort, he could make use of the radio in the watch tower to get a hold of his 'friend' to call for an extraction. Things were different though, Arc was on fulltime in the BSAA now. Would he even be authorized to finish a favor?

Rebecca jumped when the Jonathan speared the once pizza boy to her left. Immediately, almost by reflex, she squeezed her eyes shut, pressed her lips together tightly and stopped breathing for a moment. It payed off, as she felt blood from the creature fleck her face, but none got into her mouth or eyes. She wiped it away as quickly as possible and continued to wipe at her face for a little longer after. One drop, only one was all it took. One drop for massive incurable infection. Becca shuddered thinking about it. If there was one thing she could pull away from all her studying, never let your guard down when it comes to infected blood. And this virus was serious business.
"Thanks, but a little warning would've been nice!" She said somewhat harshly. It's not that she wasn't thankful, but infected blood that close to her face got her a little tense. Her snappy comment was cut off by a gunshot to an infected a few feet away from her. Louis this time. Guh, before guys in school wouldn't even look at me, and now it's like I'm flippin' Rapunzel or something. Ugh... Zombies bring out the chivalry in people I guess... She shook her head and headed for the door Jonathan had gestured to, mumbling a thanks to Louis as she tied her hip-scarf around her face yet again in a makeshift mask. Couldn't have any infected blood getting into her nose or mouth.
She ran up to the top of the stairs and started looking around while she had time. Noticing something pinned up to the wall, she walked towards it quickly and started to examine it. It was a layout of the building, one of those 'In Case Of...' plaques. "Hmmm..." She hummed thoughtfully, tracing it with her finger, trying to figure something out. If this was going to turn into a regular shoot-em-up, they'd need more guns. Thinking logically, she tapped a room on the plaque. She'd been in the city police department before, an if this was anything like that then they should find guns in the room she indicated. She fumbled with the set of keys that she'd grabbed earlier. It was stocked, the key should be on the ring.
As she studied the plaque, keeping her attention on the sheet of red plastic, an infected made it's way towards her. As she reached for the keys, it reached for and grabbed her forearm, twisting it painfully and pushing her to the wall, trying to bite at her. Uncharacteristically, she let out a pained yelp and pushed it back before smacking it with the butt of her gun. Satisfied with the crack she'd heard, and the fact that it wasn't moving, she leaned against the wall for a moment. With a tug, she pulled the scarf off of her mouth so she could breathe easier. Right. Guard up. Got it. She looked over at the men, who had probably heard the yelp. "Uh, I think I know where the guns are..." She said, holding up the keys. That infected had messed up her arm with that twisting grab, and it throbbed painfully, but she didn't let herself show any signs of pain.
