This is where you can find the East Office, the interrogation room, the press conference room and of course a door that takes you to a fire escape. A quick and easy way to get to the second floor.
Be wary, however, there's skinless freaks with giant claws slinking around with the undead. One wrong move and one right swipe and one could lose one's head.

Brezhnev and his men entered the hallway. Before the group stood a mass of infected individuals, all moaning and shuffling without purpose or care....well save for one....the insatiable desire to feed on warm, human flesh.
"Phalanx." Brezhnev ordered. At that, the soldiers got into formation. Calling out their targets, each man expended rounds into their own targets. With the perfect precision of a well oiled machine, the soldiers eliminated the infected.
With their path to the next areas clear, Brezhnev began to wonder what had become of the man they had meet in the main hall. Brezhnev motioned for Danilov(NPC).
"Check the main hall....see what has become of our comrade....report back here as soon as you know something." Brezhnev ordered. With a nod, Danilov reentered the main hall and began to search for sign of Arkady. The soldiers stood around, awaiting further orders from their leader. Brezhnev began to think....to think about the future...the fate of himself and his men. Could it be possible that they would accomplish their goal in his lifetime? If not...then how could he ensure that if they did manage to achieve victory that his will of what should be done would be followed?
How many times before in history had the goals of a like minded group been meet, but with the death of their leader, they mismanaged the accomplishment into worthless drivel? He had to ensure that did not happen to his men. It would General Mikhail Brezhnev, not some underling, who would mold the future....and if he couldn't mold the future, he would see that it properly burns.
"Comrade General, he is gone!" Danilov announced as he came back into the wing. "He has left word of us...and our work."
"He couldn't have gone far." Brezhnev growled. "See that the message is destroyed."
"At once, Comrade General."
"Split into three teams....I want him found....and eliminated." Brezhnev ordered. The soldiers announced their acknowledgement by checking their weapons. "I will lead two men to the West Wing....the other two groups will take this floor and the second floor....sweep and clear.
"And if you should find him before me...." Brezhenv continued, as he went to the door with Danilov and another soldier. "Take his head.....make it look like one of the mutants got him."
*Brezhnev is now in the West Wing 1F*
