Kroric heard the mumbles of the conversation going on a little up the hill. He wasnt about to leave the lady though. He raised his rifle, and looked down the scope trying to get a view of what was going on. He couldnt see much through the brush but he could make out 3 bodies. Two of which had to be David and Knight, the other was the mystery. It couldnt have been an infected or there would have been gunshots by now. Without removing his eye from his scope he whispered to the doc.
"I wonder who they ran into up there. I hope it isnt anyone from Umbrella."

David looked at darren then back at the man. He seem to know the man somehow but he let it pass over his head. "Yeah, I have a can at my truck, but like i said we're on a mission so it will wait for awhile. There's a group down that hill, this is one of my guys," he montioned his head towards Darren. "We also got two survivors as well. You're welcome to join us"

Kroric could tell the doctor was too busy trying to listen to talk to him. As they sat quietly an eerie feeling crept up his back. The feeling of being watched began to swallow him. He turned his head focusing on what was behind him. Several leaves from the underbrush around the small trail were moving. Then he heard something move. Quick and quiet, but he definitally heard it. He couldnt get a bearing on its location but he felt its presence. It was time to move, to sit still would be suicide.
"Doc, I think we have to get moving something is following us."
Kroric quietly slung his rifle, and pulled his P95 from its holster. He made his way to Riley. quietly he whispered in her ear till she woke up.
"Riley. Riley! Wake up. We have to get moving. Now."
He helped the girl to her feet. She could tell something was not right as well. Riley took a firm grip on the 1911 she had been carrying. Kroric let her take the lead up the hill. He followed a step behind her. They moved as quick and as quietly as they could, which wasnt all that quiet. But they had to move, something was on their tail. They caught up with Knight and David. Kroric gave the new guy a quick look over, he didnt look infected so he skipped the pleasentries to them in.
"Guys we gotta get moving up this hill Im pretty sure something is following us. And being in on this little trail, in all this brush is bad. And the sun will be going down on the other side of this mountain very soon if we dont get our butts moving!"
Riley motioned for Knight to get moving, as she began the ascent of the mountain once again. Kroric was right behind her. He wasnt about to be taken by surprise by some creature from hell.

- I'll be glad to do so, as soon as your friend put his gun down, he responded while turning his head toward Darren, giving him a mean look.
At the same time, the rest of the group came up the hill, one of them stating that they should keep going. Christopher supported the man's idea. He went back behind the rock, packed his bag and picked his shotgun. While waiting for the small troop to go ahead, he sat on the rock and studied them a little. They all seemed fine, except maybe for the doctor which didn't look totally sane. His behaviour reminded him of some psycho he met in prison. Those kind of guy can be dangerous sometime. You always need to keep an eye on them. But with those dead creatures around, he probably wasn't the biggest threat. He checked his pistol. Fully loaded. Good, just in case things went wrong.

Darren lowered his weapon and followed Riley. He grabbed her hand and whispered something in her ear. He looked back to the new guy and turned her head to Darren. She nodded and looked at the ground. Darren just stared at Riley for a second, He could tell that something was wrong with her. She seemed a little uneasy after Micheal showed up. That fact bothered Darren. Knight looked back at Micheal as he jogged beside Kroric. I don't trust that guy.

Micheal looked at Darren as he glanced back. Micheal flashed Darren a crooked smile. He looked over at the guy sitting on the rock and saw that he was studying him. Micheal then decided that he was gunna cut his neck wide open if givin the chance. He doesn't liked to be studied by anyone except for himself

David looked at everyone. "Ok, now that it settled, break times over lets move," he turn towards Kroric. "You seem really freaked" he told him. He looked around, making sure there weren't any wild bears in the area or a pack of decompoing muts. He didn't see anything, but still it would take one smart B.O.W. to break the group. "Alright We're pressing forward, keep it tight. Darren, on me." He moved to the front and kept his M4 at the ready as they both moved up along the dirt path.

Darren nodded as David took the lead. Riley followed behind him and so on. Darren slowed his walk to grab a red out of his pack. He lit it and took a hit. Darren looked back to Micheal to see that he had a look of disgust on his face. "How far until we get there?" Darren asked DAvid as he caught up.

David had to guess about another mile. "Not far, look for the blast walls and logo" He looked over at darren then looked at that Doc. "Sick there buddy?" he asked then looked back at the trail.

Kroric ignored the comment about being freaked out. Whether they believed him or not he learned long ago to always trust his instincts. They had never let him down. And besides now that he was pulling detail on the rear of the squad he definitley knew something was behind them. He could hear it moving around them. However it never made more noise than them. So it was difficult to pick up the minute discrepinces it made. He glanced at the dimming sky and then down to his watch. They didn't have much daylight left. He called up the unit to David and Knight.
"When we get there head straight for the entrance and clear the threshold."
Kroric had a plan to draw out their pursuer and hopefully put it down. He didn't like leaving loose ends. And a creature carrying their smell and waiting for them to leave the base they were headed for, seemed to be a pretty big loose end to him.

A loud ear splitting roar went across the mountain side. A.D.A.W. was cut loose from its underground imprisonment as it started you the hill as fast as it can. It stopped and held its head up and let loose another blood curling roar. As anybody in the area could hear was the sound of heavy feet. Heavy running feet coming across the ground and tearing down trees. All it could think was to feed on anything. It could see a group of survivors with its heat vision started charging at them full force. |

Knight covered his ears as loud roar ripped into the silence. Darren shouldered his rifle and whipped around. He turned on his tac-light and pointed it down the hill. A large creature came charging up the hill. Knight fired a couple of rounds out of his M4 and retreated backwards. "Everybody run! This thing is big!" Knight shouted as he grabbed Riley and tossed her into the brush.

Micheal smiled as Darren shouted that something big was on it's way up the hill. Micheal took off into the treeline and climbed the nearest tree to watch as it came up the hill. He wanted to observe this new foe and watch how it attacked and dispatches it's enemies.

Kroric cursed as Knight's shots whizzed past him. The beast finally made itself known. He knew his instinct had been correct. He looked over his shoulder for a split second and saw the grotesque outline of their pursuer. He then turned back and kept running. He saw Knight quit running and toss Riley into the brush.
"What are you doing? Keep moving! We wont be able to kill this thing!!! We have to make it into that lab!"
He turned and squeezed off a few shots at the monster to buy Knight a few seconds. Kroric then turned and continued climbing at full speed. He'd seen a few B.O.W. before and he knew holding their ground wasn't the smartest thing to do. Not yet anyway.

A man sat in the security room of the bunker. He watched from security cameras as he saw one of them running toward the bunker. He then grabbed his helmet and removed a hollowed out piece in his helmet and put a chip in it. He then proceeded to grab his gear and put it on. He then grabbed his FAMAS and MK 23. "Let see if you B.S.A.A. puppets can handle A.D.A.W. and if you can. Well then lets see if you can get past the last Umbrella loyal UDF trooper left. HAHAHAHA" he said out loud as he started walking back over to the monitors and controls. |

David and the group ran and notice the doctor was missing, that thing hot on there tail. They seen those doors, David got to the door and opened it real quick, He pushed everyone in and he was missing three. "keep this door a crack alittle" He ran back out running the oposite way from the creature. "Riley! Darren! Doc! WERE THE HELL ARE YA?!" he shouted.

As they began to walk, a large creature came running in an infernal sound. The troop began to ran. At one point, Christopher turned around, planning on shooting down the beast. What he saw was beyond his expectation, different then everything he had seen before. Running was the only option. He saw three members of the group leave the path going in different direction. What the hell were they doing! Finally they reached the bunker and quickly went inside. Most of the troop was still missing, so David went back for them. Shotgun in hand, he helped Kroric holding the steel door, in case the creature decided to try and come in.
- What the f*ck is that creature?
