"I'm looking for my father, Gabe, i know he was at the Apple inn just before the outbreak occurred." Robert said as he sipped the coffee, while he normally didn't like coffee he seemed it right to be polite.
"He would have been looking into the umbrella companies business here back from before the first outbreak, he might have come to the forest to hunt." Robert was almost speaking what he was thinking, but there was a bit of danger to this woman. "have you seen a man about my height a little heavier and in his late 40's?"
Robert had already begun to think about getting back to the apple inn, these woods even though beautiful look dangerous!

Marissa looked at the man. long and hard. She could sense the guy was uneasy about her, didn't blame him though, after all, she was close to killing Robert and Andrew. "It's not a face I would remember, or hear about. most of the people here would of been talking about it around here and I'd would of known sooner," she handed the picture back to him. "It wouldn't be likely he came here. The area isn't safe enough, but like I said: I would of known about it by now. As safe as it is in this area its more dangerous about a 2 mile radius."
Andrew took a a sip of his coffee. "Is there anyway you can tell if the area is present and accounted for?"
Marissa cocked an brow "You mean Parade rest and such? Hell no! besides I go door to door around here and get names from people and who is being born and all that jazz. I have a record of all the people in the area, who is on night watch, who gathers food and everything. No one leaves unless I know about it." she pulled out some papers and handed to Robert. "May feel free to search the list to make sure he is here." she turn her attention to Lilly and Andrew. "The Apple Inn is a pretty big building to cover for a group of three."
"It was actually two until they found me" Andrew said. He folded his arms then sighed. "I know you're running a green zone here, but it's a favor that we need to ask. I'm willing to give you the money for it and in return help you find Kevin. If he's BSAA, then its most likely he's in the area"
Marissa kept docile. "...Its been about a week or so since I saw him at Veges..." Her mind drifted.
Andrew leaned over. "Marissa, Lilly needs a fourth person for this search. Three people isn't enough for a search. And we have firepower" He waited for an answer but she seem attached to the name.

Lilly had just finished her cup of coffee and she set the cup down. Up until now, she had kept silent. It seemed that the woman was fighting an internal battle and if she pushed now, she might shut down and kick them out. If they waited patiently, she might decide to join them.
Lilly didn't know much about her, but by the way she handled her M4, she knew that she was experienced with it. They could definitely use her. She looked at Robert and knew that they were thinking the same thing... they needed to get back to the Inn.
"Would you please help us?"

Marissa looked up and nodded. "Yeah...I'll help."
"Thank you" Andrew replied to Marissa.
Marissa got up. "There's ammo and weapons in the basement. Along with other toys and gadgets down there. Feel free to help yourself. Excuse me" She went up stair leaving the small group for awhile. She closed the door behind her and started to remove her morning attire. She stood in front of the mirror naked for awhile staring into her own eyes. Her iPhone started to go off, breaking her trance and she immediately took her Medication.
Andrew got up then sighed. He looked at Lilly. "Well...?" he wondered if she was more grateful that they had a fourth person or not. Hand was, but something about her seem to be deem a mystery.

"I am ready when you all are!" Robert said as he strode out the door to the Titan. He sat in the back seat remembering out strange it had been when he found his dad's car on the side of the road just outside of Vegas. He had no clue what had happened until he visited home and heard he passed through. "He wasn't the same" said his uncle and at first Robert had thought he was set on revenge but now his thoughts were thinking maybe he was attacked.
Robert set to moving the stuff in the back seat to give Marissa as much room as she needed, and bringing out a small bag of venison jerky that he called his special batch. the dark colored dried meat gave off the smell of soy sauce and teriyaki, much there was much more flavors in every bite. Chewing a rather small but tender piece which instantly made his mouth water.

Lilly stood up and stretched. Before Marisa left, Lilly nodded. "Thank you." As Marissa left, Lilly looked over at Andrew. "Thank you as well. Having her with us will really help. I think that me and Robert are good. I'll go get the truck ready. You can check downstairs and then help Marissa with what she needs."
Lilly left the cabin and went to the truck. Robert was already inside, waiting for them. She could tell that he was anxious and getting a little impatient. She couldn't blame him. She wanted to get back to the Inn and find out about her family.
She hopped in the front seat and reached over, grabbing her water bottle and taking a sip of it. Then she looked back at Robert.
"We'll be back there before nightfall. With luck, we will be inside on the top floor. With two teams, I think that it will go fast."

Andrew nodded. "Alright." He walked through the kitchen and down the basement. His surprise. This girl was packing! He walked around looking at the guns, photos, and manuals on military tactics. she even had a small area with lot of make shift bombs and exsploives. he looked at some of them, most of them were made from soda cans with a 20 second fuse line. he picked up one of them and looked. "A retired IRA soldier taught me that" he turned around and she walked over toward him. she worse military grade A armor with a tactical vest. He noticed her arms had older cuts on them. about a dozen or so, but he looked over at the explosive. "Irish Republican Army, eh?" he picked a can up and examined it.
"Most of them have nails in there. If the exsposion don't kill you, the shrapnal will. Few dirty bombs enough to take out the Vatican city and enough weapons and ammo to wage World War 3. but the best part is, I have a bombshell that does deeper and exsits around the back of the Arkley." She was grining. Andrew wasn't surprised. She reached for her a few can's and and a jercan can as well. "There isn't no need to bring that, ya know?" She looked at him like he was crazy. "I don't think you realized this or not. But if there was a mob of those thing, they'd be following us. those walkers are scavangers, they find what they want and the eat what they want. This is only to secure our exsit out of here when we leave the building. prevents them from getting in, prevents anyone getting in."Andrew nodded, now he understood. "Found what you need?" Marissa asked. Andrew looked around then sighed shaking his head, he grabbed a few HE grenades "It feels like my first time at a strip club" She chuckled then elbowed him playfully at his arm. "C'mon, old man. they're waiting.
Once everything was said and done, they waited for Marissa to finish her short conversation with man at a trailer then joined the rest. She thrown her bag in the back and sat next to Robert. She loaded a fresh magazine in her G36C rifle and cocked it with ease. Andrew looked at Lilly. "Lets roll out" he said.

Lilly put the Titan in gear and backed up. Then she threw it in gear and sped down the trail, careful to not throw gravel or dirt at the tents in the camp. Once they were free from the camp, she sped up. It would probably take 3 hours to get back to the Inn. They could eat lunch as they neared the Inn and then go in. It would give them half a day to check the upper floors of the hotel.
As they drove, Lilly filled Marissa in on their plan.
"We are going to climb to the roof of the Inn and go in fron the top. We've already searched the first two floors and they are overrun with the undead and a few frog and dog looking creatures. We have climbing gear to get to the top and then we will attach the ropes to the next building. If it comes to it. We can climb out on the ropes and make our away to the next building."

*After several hours of driving down a lonely road, Wes appeared to have been taking a nap in the passenger seat as Warren is struggling to stay awake. Warren had turned on the stereo in the SUV, to be playing off of a CD that they had. Warren was multi-tasking while driving, since he was doing so, he came around a sharp curve, and slid off the road a bit. Hesitating, but he managed to gain back the control of the SUV and stay on the road. This had woken Wes, and Wes glared over at Warren.*
• Wes: "What the hell are ye doin'?" • Warren: "Dammit, I messed up, mmkay? Deal wid it." • Wes: "My God... I was expectin' the trip to be rather tedious, ye just killed my buzz." • Warren: "Ha, what buzz?"
*Wes left that question unanswered, as he was focusing on refreshing himself by running his palms down his face. Brushing his hair back behind his ears before turning his attention back to Warren.*
• Wes: "Eh, don't worry about it. How long have ye been drivin'?" • Warren: "For about, five hours. You wanna drive?" • Wes: "Oh no, just curious because I'm gettin' to the point to where my eyelids are heavy. I've been too focused on research that I forgot about sleepin'." • Warren: "Ye see now sucks because we're too far down the enemies turf to camp." • Wes: "Err, we have our tree stands, remember? Zombies aren't perspicacious enough to climb ladders." • Warren: "Perspicacious... Yes, I know what that word means..."
*Wes looking in the eyes of Warren, being able to tell he was lying by the current expression on his face. Wes knew Warren's tell, and Wes knew Warren wasn't able to keep a poker face.*
• Wes: "Okay, look for somewhere you can turn off at, and then we'll go searchin' for spots to set our camp at. We need to sleep beforehand." • Warren: "If ye say so, but if zombies come afta us, I'll kick your ass after I kill them all." • Wes: "Yeah, like that's gonna happen."
*Warren began to slow the SUV down as he saw a spot to pull over. Although he didn't anticipate seeing a truck coming from the opposite direction. The truck was speeding through, and Warren had to swerve to avoid a collision.*

"Frogs?" Marissa question. "Seriously?"
Andrew shrugged. "Its like, man size, eyeless, stands on two legs"
Marissa laughed. "There Gamma Hunters. You can find the frogs either in the streams or the sewers." She cleared her throat then sighed. "Right...this search will take about 12 hours, give or take. We search the floors in two's. Best way to clear the rooms."

Lilly swerved around an oncoming truck and continued on her way. She liked the idea of dividing up into two teams.
"I think that's a good idea. Andrew and I can take the 4th floor. Marissa, you and Robert can take the 5th floor and then we can meet up to do the third floor."
It would be good to pair the military woman with Robert, a civilian. She had the training and experience of looking after people. And Lilly could handle working with a Merc.
"We keep in touch every 3 minutes. Just one or two words. If we meet resistance, we fall back to the roof. No heroics. We don't all want to end up dead... or undead."
Lilly looked in the mirror at Robert. "Robert, you need to be ready to lose your Dad. I know you don't want to hear that, but I have to do the same with my family. I want them back, but not at the cost of losing all of you."
She maneuvered down the trail and as it leveled out, she sped up, taking the main road. It would go straight through Raccoon City and back to Apple Inn.

*Warren had patiently gained control of the Jeep after avoiding the oncoming vehicle. Wes had gazed into the rear-view to see that the truck had continued to drive on. Warren pulled the Jeep back onto the dirt path, and drove with caution. Wes chilled down a bit more now knowing that wasn't as bad as he could've been. Wes looks over to Warren, to see he is calm as well.*
• Warren: "Jeez, they sure was inna hurry..." • Wes: "Yeah, in many cases could mean that they were running from something." • Warren: "May be, but still, shouldn't drive carelessly like that. Zombies aren't that quick." • Wes: "...Well perhaps they weren't fleeing from zombies. I've read about beings that have been revolutionized greater than a typical zombie. A being, much more dangerous and atrocious." • Warren: "That right? Well big boy, I got somethin' waitin' fo' them if they wanna f*** wid us."
*Warren had patted his gun holster, to notion Wes to understand his point. Wes chuckled as he spotted this, and turned his eyes to the road Warren was driving on. They spent the next several minutes driving without conversation, and that's when Warren started asking some questions.*
• Warren: "Whacha have in mind for when we get to Raccoon? I doubt we'll be welcomed with open arms, ye know." • Wes: "To be honest with ya Warren, I have no clue. Something is in Raccoon City, and I must figure out what it is." • Warren: "But why? Why are you so worried 'bout it? Your not a soldier, or a politician." • Wes: "As an American, you have the right to be informed. It just so happens that most of the survivors have zero knowledge of this apocalypse. I'm taking it upon myself to learn what's going on, and to inform myself of the situation so that I can learn how to respond to my new knowledge." • Warren: "And ye jus' had to drag me along, did'ncha?" • Wes: "Ay now, you agreed to come along on your own free will. You didn't have to join me, having you with me makes me feel a tad bit more comfortable. Don't tell me you're gettin' scared already?" • Warren: "Course not, I just don't wanna go into enemy territory blind." • Wes: "Me neither, and that's why we've embarked, so that we won't be blind to our surroundings, and the changes of the world. Knowing when you're going to die, and how you're going to die is much better than not knowing when to die, and not knowing how you're going to die. In this case, I'm concluding my research of knowing how these zomb*tches are about to die, and how they're going to die." • Warren: "Wow... I'mma have to quote that for someone else, sounded bad ass. Hehe, zomb*tches... good one man." • Wes: "Glad you gotta kick out of that."
*The Jeep has drawn closer to Raccoon City within every second, and they know what was coming because it wasn't too long until they began to see zombies on the side of the road, perhaps even hordes of zombies. Some leaving Raccoon, some entering. Wes had unbuckled the holster of where his Python was, and Warren done the samething with his gun holster.*

[Andrew, Lilly, Twobit, and Marissa entering the Arkley mountains]
Lilly was pushing 177 MPH, the Titan speed only reached to 160. It had reminded him the times in Philly when he was younger, watching the street racers getting there kicks off of money and pink slips. Andrew grinned a bit. They went back to the same road, smae area, same well held haven. People on the other side open up the gates. The Titan came to a slow stop and drove up the road. Lilly pulled up infront of the Marissa's housing. Marissa tossed the keys to Andrew. "Make your self at home for awhile. I'll take the boy to my friends house," She open up the door to the back and held the boy's hand "wanna see the other kids?" Andrew looked at the keys. "So," He turn to Twobit from his seats. "How like that gun? Pretty shaby ani't it" He had a good feeling for a chef kinda guy he was playing with thr professional big boy guns, he'd would a great sence of how it worked like the noobies would handle them and such. He changed his mood a bit. "you sure you wanna do this Rob? Seeing your father again?"
Marissa walked over to the RV that had fenced around a bit of the parts for playing area. the Play ground was made out of branches and tied off ropes, complaments to Marissa and a few good Eagle Boy scouts, they had made it for the kids, swings, monkey bars, ect. She knocked on the RV door. A lady with short blond hair, in her mid twenties. open up the door. "Hey, Marissa" "Hi, Sophie." "Found another child I see." "Yeah...He was in the Apple Inn. I need to ask you a favor." Sophie stepped out only to poke her head back in. "Gary, can you watch the children for a minute? I'm stepping out." She closed the door behind her. "What is it?" Marissa sighed. trying to find words. "I have to head back out, there's something I need to check. I'm going to be gone for awhile. I don't know when I'll come back. I need you to take care of him for me. His name is Tim." Sophie looked at the boy then at Marissa. "Well you watch your self, ok?" Marissa gave a turn nod. "I will"

"the P90 worked much like i expected from watching shows that used them, although i think it shoots faster then what they said on that history program i watched in Vegas. i like the grip and the clip is one of the easiest to reload." robert said as he stood up and strenched his muscles.
"i owe my father much and i would be a poor son in deed if i didn't help him all i could. and as far as Vegas goes, i know people there that wont let the kid be in trouble he will work in the same kitchen i had and with good kind people. I believe it would be best for him to get out of this city!" he finished with a hint of anger towards the city that started this horror back in '98.
"do we still have the rope launcer or are we scaling this mountain by hand and feet. I have a little mountain climbing experience, well fake mountain climbing anyways. We should be able to take the base by surprise." he said as he enter the house and got a cup of water and downed it.

"Lets be reasonable for a second," Andrew open the door up and got out, doing the same thing. "We wouldn't be able to. We're not the NAVY SEALS here. Scaling the mountain wouldn't be a problem, the problem is how many people are gonna spot us. If it's worth the risk, which I know it will be, they could execute us right on sight." Andrew sighed again. "If they're housing BOWs, they would be inside the base. Killed enough USSs and UBCSs to understand that much."
Marissa walked over. She over heard the conversation. "We can try to pick them off from the watch towers. Sneaking in isn't a really much of a problem. But in the event that we do get raise the Code RED, it will be a b*tch getting out." She looked over in Twobits eyes. She could tell of the anger he had. Marissa thought of something. "There was a saying I use to say. 'Getting worked up will get no one anywhere, However, if you know what you were fighting for without being worked up, you can see anything that everything is possible to fight for something worth living'. It helped me out all my life when I was a nobody in Chicago."
She snatched the keys off of andrew. "Scared," She looked at Andrew.
"No. Not the kind of person to be intruding" He told her.
Marissa looked at Lilly, Twobit and Andrew. She grinned at them. "Come on. If we're infiltrating, we're gonna need a few things" She turned away and walked up to the front porche.
