Lilly brought the car to a stop and put it in park. People had come out to look at them questioning. Coming in at 177 mph, was one way to catch them attention... and eat of their gas.
Stepping out and stretching, she went to the back of the Titan and pulled out the last two 10 gallon containers of gas and began to pour them into the oversized tank on the Titan. It would be enough to get them to and from the base and to the airport. She bet that the guy who lent her the vehicle was cursing her right now.
Tossing the containers on the porch of Marissa's house, Lilly made her way back to the vehicle. She took a box of ammo and her empty mags and began to load them, stuffing them into the pockets on her vest as they were filled. The weight made her feel comfortable again. She opened the AR-15 and checked the firing mechanism to make sure it was clear and then snapped the assembly down again.
When Andrew asked her about the rope cannon, she shook her head. "We have the cannon, but no ropes or grapples. If we could find some, we could use it, but the max range is only about 80 feet. At some point we will probably have to foot it."
She was thankful that they had stopped for the winter gear. It would keep them warm and the white should camoflauge them decently.

Marissa led them to the basement. She walked over to the wall and tapped a few buttons. a door open. "We can do better then 80 feet." Marissa added. The secret room revealed weapons on either side of the wall other then the weapons on. It also had all attachments, suppressors, Camouflage of various environment, and Grade A Armor. She grabbed the 500 feet of climing rope and climing gear. "See how that works out for ya." She walked over to a racked of sniper classes and picked up a SRS (Stealth Recon Sniper), several magazines, a surpressor and surpressor coat to block out heat signature. Marissa called it a condom giving that fact it kept the heat siganture block and would be proven to be the safest for long range reconnanaces. Andrew walked in looking around. He picked up one of the camo tapes glancing at it. Marissa looked into the other room. " Got parts for AR-15s and P90s" She said to them, grabbing a dual scope and a holographic, stuffed it securly in her bag then grabbed a thermal scope. Thermal optics was going to help not just for seeing a great distance, but as a hand held scope.
Andrew looked around some more. "You never get tired with the big boy toys do ya?" he said. She had outfits ghillies and simular armor then his, however the armor must of been SpecOp proven. "Don't say that" She said. She sounded brash about it. "No, I mean you're really prepared." "Yeah, I am, but the way you said it reminded me of my years being a broken women." She glanced at him then at Lilly. "My parents were...prejadest...One of the more reaon why I join the Core." Andrew nodded. "We'll get back to that later" Andrew looked at parts. for the P90, but his eyes caught something else. every Mercinaries dreams. He walked over to it and admired it. "A corner shot?..."
Marissa looked over at him then at Robert and Lilly. "Help you're selves." She said and walked over to the Andrew. "I had touch that thing in awhile. It's made for shooting around corners when the other guy is standing there like an idiot. It was $25,550 on the market. It's a big demand for STARSs, SWAT, even SRRT. Its a shame its not all that big for the Military, but from what I heard its pretty damn impressive on the field."
Andrew looked it over. "Not any branch had used it in combat besides the IDF." He took it and taken his pistol out of his chest holster he locked his weapon in place moving the the the pistol with from the left, straight , right, and straight again. He Checked out the LED screen that provided with a cross hair on the screen. "Handy" he replied with a grin.

Robert walked through and gazed at the shotguns, rifles and assault rifles. He felt the weight of a few rifles and snipers but he came upon a Rutger 306 and he picked up a thermo scope and a holographic for it as well as a few mags putting all in a gun case he saw at the foot of the guns. the case seemed built just for it, it held 3 mags the gun while assembled and one of the scopes. He shoved the other into his bag and picked up more P90 ammo and a silencer for his 9mm. Robert then put on a tactical vest then went to find Marrissa.\
"this is all really nice musta took you some years to collect all these, i am borrowing this Rutger, i've used them alot in the hilly woods of northern Michigan and i can trust its power and accuracy. i'll be ready in truck." he said as he left the basement.

Lilly was amazed by the mass of weapons that Marissa had obtained, though in the end, she stuck with her own weapons, stocking up on only ammo. She had gone through training with these weapons and they felt like an extension of her body. If they were headed into a hot zone, she wanted something she knew could bring her through.
She began to fill up her magazines with rounds and found two more clips for her sidearm and rifle. She felt a bit heavy, but it was better than not having them. She rounded out her gear with a sling for her AR-15, a collapsable baton, and a Kukri style machete. She fit all the extra mags in their slots, her baton at her waist and the machete in a sheath on her back. She clipped a light to her AR-15 and then pocketed a hand-held LED flashlight.
Over all that, she pulled on a jacket. When she was ready, she looked up at the others.
"We best get going. Robert's father is waiting."

Andrew grabbed a few mre things then got ready. Marissa Looked over at Robert and said. "It honestly took me a bit more then that, but I did alot of work on the cabin before the second outbreak." Andrew ignored the conversation. "Webest get going," Lilly finally told them. "Roberts father is waiting" Andrew zipped his bag up. "Right..."

(Sorry about letting this one drop)
Lilly nodded and then headed back out of Marissa's house / ammo dump. It seemed the kid they had picked up was already being taken with a friend to be watched over. She hoped that he would find a home.
Walking to the truck, she took out the keys and opened the door. Climbing in, she tucked her AR-15 into its stand and then started up the Titan. As the others climbed in, she put it in gear and backed up. As she put the truck in drive, she manuevered slowly between the makeshift tents and homes of the camp, on a heading to the last seen position of the helicopter. Inside, she was numb. She tried to keep it at bay, but she kept remembering her parents and her sister shambling towards her... bite marks all over their body. The side of her sister's head had been gnawed off, leaving it bare to the bone. Her mom was missing an arm and her dad had his intestines ripped apart.
It was amazing how much detail she was trained to pick up in a little amount of time. Now it came back to haunt her. She sniffed a bit, wiping the tears that threatened to blur her vision. She had a job to do.. but after that, she didn't know.
As the truck cleared the camp, she picked up speed. She estimated that they had another 10 mile drive before they had to climb.
(Okay, I have an option for ya'll. We can either continue this in the Military Base in Arklay Forest, or the Arklay Labs. I'm voting for the Labs as it seems to be a better choice and more dangerous.)

Robert set to eating one last time and started to tuck the ammo in his vest. "i'm ready, but if we confront him let me talk to him first, please i know what must be done but i have to tell him somthing." he finished without noticing the single tear fall down his check. He stared at the mountain side and waited with antipation.
*occ i say labs as well!*

Lilly nodded and then turned down a small dirt road. It looked abandoned and unused, with overgrown bushes and grass crowding it. But Lilly had seen the evidence of fresh tracks on the trail. She slowed to almost a crawl to avoid damaging the axles of the truck. The little dirt road was pitted with holes and tree stumps, making for a bumpy ride.
Up head, she saw that the road wound up the mountain in into the snow. At some point it would be too steep to drive and they would have to walk. For now, though, they slowly crept up the trail.

(Guys started without me, eh? Thanks though, I needed to get back to track. lets do the labs as voted.)
Andrew sat in the front again. as Marissa had the back doors. He gotten ready for what was to come. He tighten his gloves and looked outside the mirror. "Never forget home much I hated the damn snow." He said. Snow was nothing, but making through it was a pain in the ass if you didn't have snow shoes on.
Marissa put on her balaclava white mask on. She didn't say nothing at all about Andrews remarks. She looked up at the front and sighed.

In the distance, he could see it clearly, even through his black sunglasses. His old place of work that held not only so many memories to him, but also the secret as to what had made the world the shell of what it once was. He stood calmly as he looked at the ruined laboratory in the distance and slowly reached up to remove his sunglasses. It had been years since he had set foot here and now that he was standing there again made the nostalgia hit him like a brick. Taking a deep breath, and exhaling normally, he put his sunglasses back on. Dressed in a black suit, complete with tie and a matching trenchcoat overtop as well as gloves and boots, he blended in with the darkness around him.
The man, Jonathan Ricklard, wore an emotionless expression as he turned away from the old labs, having not expected to come across them. With the past, literally, behind him, he made his way through the forest. A former Umbrella Executive, and current Tricell overseer, security was not a problem, though he opted to travel alone for the most part. He started off for the ruined city in the distance, knowing that, if he could get to the crashed chopper there, he could get his case from within containing a vial of tiger DNA, then be on his way. That was, of course, barring any unforseen complications like last time with that girl...Alex, the Private Investigator and Joey, the bane of his existance.

[Jack Carter enters the Arklay Mountains]
Man, this is the life, thought Jack as he laid back, enjoying how the sun warmed his body. But this water is freezing!
Jack was butt naked in one of the many unknown lakes that dotted the Arklay Forest. He had been hunting and came across it. So here he was a few yards off the shore, no clothes on, sitting on his yellow raft, just lounging and taking in the sun. He would have loved to have a beer, but he ran out last month. Still, the peacefulness that surrounded him was enough and he was enjoying it.
Lately he was running across less and less people out here. He figured that there must be a new mall in Raccoon City so they found yet another reason to not get out to nature. Jack shook his head, pitying them. It had taken the first outbreak to show him that he could live off nature. Of course he had lost his entire family and that had threatened to break him. Only an extensive therapy session and getting away from it all had let him keep control of his emotional state.
Now, naked in some freezing water, he was having fun.

Jack was almost out, smiling with closed eyes as the sun beat down on him. The temperature had gone up and the water had warmed a bit. He could have stayed outside all day, but he knew that he couldn't. The last time he had, his "little fella" had been sunburned and that was the worst type of sunburn to have. He was about to swim to shore, when he heard a moan and a splash at the other end.
Instinctively, he covered the "little fella" with his hands and looked over at the sound.
His blood frozed as cold as the water had been. There on the opposite shore, was a zombie. It had been female and obviously at some sort of formal event. It's evening gown had been torn and skewed, with one of her breast completely gone. It was stumbling toward the water... toward him.
Jack was instantly on the move, swimming back to the shore in what seemed like a few seconds. He grabbed his clothes and began to pull on his pants and boots, saving his shirt for last in case he had to run. He turned around just in time to see the zombie go completely submerged in the pond. Because it was a small pond, Jack could see it under the water, stumbling towards him. As it neared the middle, it seemed to lose him and began to wander on the bottom.
"No way in hell, I'm going to let that thing stay alive", he said, picking up his rifle. He quickly chambered a round and sighted down into the water through the scope. He had to adjust his target as the water would change the trajectory of the bullet. So he aimed lower.
As soon as he was ready, he gently squeezed off the shot. The sound echoed through the mountains, but the shot slammed into the water and then on through the brains of the undead, putting it down for good.
An eery silence fell over the forest and the coldness that Jack felt on his skin was more than the cold water. The lack of humans was suddenly making sense... and it threatened to make him relive everything from the first outbreak.
Quickly and quietly, Jack finished dressing, pulling on his jacket and checking both his firearms. He went to his truck to check the radio for any information but either he was too high up in the mountains... or there was no radio signal to be had. He swallowed the glacier sized lump rising up in his throat. He knew that they were back... he also knew that he needed to be sure.
That meant traveling back to humanity... to civilization... to Raccoon City to make sure.
With his Benelli in the front seat with him and his Beretta in it's holster, Jack fired up his van. Maybe it isn't all bad, he tried to tell himself. Maybe I can just fill up on gas and beer and catch a movie or something... get more ammo.
"Yeah, you keep telling yourself that, honey. That way when the s*** hits the fan, you'll be even more surprised." That thought wasn't his own... it was his wife's voice. He knew that she had died, but he also knew that he heard alot of his advice in her voice. And he knew to listen to the voice of his dead wife.
"Thanks Babe, I'll try to keep that in mind", he said outloud. Within a short period of time, he was on the small mountain road, back to town.

[Allison and Roger are in the Arklay Forest]
Roger twisted and turned through the winding roads of the Arklay woods, with only the road ahead of them being visible by the light of his motorcycle. A road sign directed them towards a nearby camping spot, and Roger turned into it.
Going down a bumpier road, and driving slowly so as to avoid any possible debris, the pair eventually came across a camp ground.
"Doesn't seem to be anything around," Roger commented as he dismounted. "So while I pitch the tent, you mind explaining why we're out here instead of safe and sleeping back at the elementary?"

Crowley climbed off the back of the bike, removing the helmet from her head and hanging it somewhere on said bike. She'd followed after Roger, keeping an eye on their surroundings. She didn't particularly like the idea of hanging out in the forest, at night, but it was better then getting interrogated or shot full of holes by the people at the school.
When he mentioned pitching a tent and the who situation, she'd found her inner child and began to chuckle.
"Heh heh..." Realizing how silly and uncharacteristic it was, she quietly wandered on to some nearby picnic tables. There'd been crushed soda and beer cans, some paper and rotten food, but nothing more of use.
"I just didn't feel comfortable being watched," she said.
