Spec Ops (Multirealm)

A big boned African American guy in a bus driver suit looks at you. "Yea. What bus number lookin fow ?" The number on the ticket is 701.

"701, are you the 701 bus?" Aiko asked. Aiko stayed a sizable distance from them both.

[Dragnoxz]

"Naw, this-is 501. 701 is-stuck in town waitin on cops to clear things up. I'is head the other way." He looks at the ticket master, "Yo, where my passengers ?"

Ticket Master: "None here so far."

Two men and three women walk in. They take turns to use the restroom and use the vending machines. You smell cigarette smoke from outside, and on one of the women's breath. Smoky breath has black hair and a gothic look about her,'and is skinny and emo like. There is a brown haired overweight woman with a brimmed hat, red and white flowered dress shirt and white shorts (looks like a tourist). The third girl is wearing a tan and grey suit, she has blond hair and a watch on her left wrist, she pulls out a stick of gum and starts chewing, and waits for the others to use the restroom. The goth chick goes first, then the overweight, then the suited chick. As for the two guys, one is wearing casual collared blue polo type shirt, tan khakis shorts, and also has a watch. He wears eye glasses. The other guy is fat, and appears to be wh the overweight chick, wearing some blue and white and yellow flowered Hawaiian type shirt and white shorts. The polo shirt guy uses the restroom first, then the fat guy. The overweight tourists get food from the vending machines. And so does the polo guy, and goth chick. Suit lad goes back to the bus to wait. The bus remains for a half hour to let others stretch and use the restroom, but those five are the only ones to come in. You do get a glimpse of others outside through the ticket windows.

Aiko goes back to the vending machine and plops a quarter in exchange for a bag of chips, she sits on a open bench (which all of them are) and begins eating the chips in the bag.

The TV reports hostile pedestrians and warns the public to stay indoors. The streets are unsafe. Then moments later the TV shows a splash screen of the news symbol and a bulletin running across the borttom with an emergency evacuation message. "For the Raccoon City area, a mandatory city wide evacuation has been issued. Please follow police procedure. This is a mandatory city wide evacuation. Follow police procedure and stay calm." The message repeats continuously. Yet, outside it seems calm. No police, no rioters, no nothing. It is night now.

Ticket master: "Looks like you off the road till they clear this up huh."
Bus driver: "Yeh. Dam-man."
Ticket master: "If it gets too bad, passengers can stay at the Dere across the street."

"So whats the plan?" Aiko asks a bag half full in her right hand. "Are we leaving?"

[Dragnoxz]

Bus Driver: "Nah. The street blocked. Cause cops n-s***. Gonna lay low fo-a while till it clear up. I ma go find a food joint down the stree though. Y'all makin me hungry with yo ships."

He walks out of the building, "I'll be right back."

"So much for "mandatory", Aiko says with much sass. She is more ****ed by the wait than anything else. Just a change of scenery would suffice.

One of the women passengers enters the building, "Something's going no downtown. It looks like a fire."

Ticket Master: "It said a riot on the news. That's why the bus-is still here."

Woman: "Then why are they using fireworks ?"

Ticket Master: "Hold-uh, I gotta look."

She walks out, and he follows. (Does Aiko follow ?)

Aiko follows in more disbelief. "How far away are we from the down town," Aiko asks worried, "Will the riots come here?"

Everyone walks over to the intersection. When you get out there, you hear distant shouting. You hear the fireworks. They, to you, don't sound like fireworks. You know what those random distant pops are. A random person answers you, "Bout a mile or so." Another random person speaks up, "That's past the police station. Look." The person points at the rising smoke cloud that is illuminated by a fluttering orange glow. You see flashing lights in the distant, and police setting up barricades. A police van and police car approaches. To the right from where you face the smoke, down the street, you see random pedestrians walking about. They don't appear threatening.

"Should we try waving them down?" Aiko questions. Then a thought occurs to her. If they are setting up barricades then why so far away from the city. Then also why are they evacuating because of a riot. And why are they shooting, the most you can do is use tear gas and arrest them. Aiko has a bad feeling about this.

You realize that the barricades are being set up in toward downtown, not outside of town. "No-way. We don't wanna get in dat mess." You hear someone cussing in the distance. There is a loud boom but it is far away, and smoke rises bear the fire. To hear random loud speakers calling out in the distance but can't make out the words. Cars can also be heard bumping and grinding in that area. "Goh daaaam dae fuh-in it up over darr." A black person speaks in a surprising manner. "Who is they ?" Another black person who is a passenger asks. Being you, a pair of drunk folks stumble toward your group. Everyone looks back at the area where the fire is, no one pays them any attention. "s*** they drunk high, hahaha-sheit."

Police car lights move about. A crowd of silent protestors pour into the street about half a mile away, between the barricades and your location. Gunshots ring out. A zing sound screams past the crowd you are in, "Oh s***, Jesus motha fuka, daaaam, dem b*tches shootin lead. Fuh-this s***. I ma go back inside the bus." The crowd you are in disperses and goes in the bus, or the station. They unconsciously move past the two drunks who don't speak, they just stumble over and attempt to grab but have no luck. "Move out the way, b*tch." One person barks as he shoves past them. "Damn b*tch stinks like s***." If you walk past them, they stink like they s*** themselves.

Aiko ran into the bus station and hid in the left open ticketing area. Aiko thought about running toward the bus but decided that if the plan was to wait this out then the station full of food and functional facilities would be optimal. If those "protesters" had to be shot at by the police and make it past them then they have to be dangerous.

The ticket master is sitting in his chair, looking at you with this look that questions why you ran into there. "Yo kid. You can't be in hea. This is staff only." (Assuming you went into the ticket master office).
