(He slaps it. Ashley REALLY doesn't like Mosquitos. Second hated thing after enclosed spaces. If this is a thing where Ashley gets infected,he probably gets infected another way. And are you familiar with the beginning chapters of Resident Evil The Dark Side Chronichles? I was thinking of having something like that happen to Kordell and Ashley. Maybe meet an Umbrella Agent that tries to kill them or something. And an encounter with a tyrant that they have to flee And it chases them.)

Try not to let your character benefit form your knowledge as a player. That is regarded as a form of cheating. As a game master, I'd be obligated to punish your character, lol (At least that's what the D&D books say about players using player knowledge to benefit their characters). Characters should be played as what they are, without any help from the player themselves. Kordell and Ashley don't know about an infection. As far as they know, the city is being overrun by anarchist mobs. These mobs might not be hostile toward the students. Or, perhaps there is just a massive prank going on. The don't know. Poor Kordell, lol, he is so unaware of things, he is just waiting it all out.

As for meeting an Umbrella agent, not every character meets someone from Umbrella, unless they are simple folk working wage slave job under Umbrella. A hardcore Umbrella Agent is not likely to be met by Ashley and Kordell. Now, after SPOND Training, Ashley will have his fair share of tangoing with Umbrella elites. But, you gotta survive SPOND training, lol. Though, we can be creative as heck with this, so, you may get what you are hoping for. I just don't want to spoil any surprises.
Lol. Ok. And I wasn't trying to avoid infection through player knowledge. Ashley just doesn't like mosquitoes.

I'm RACIST against Mosquito's. I don't want to ruin any surprises, but things can get exciting. IT may not be exactly what you expect, but things will all pan out properly. (Passing out, talk next time).

Plus. I had planned on a very crazy reveal to happen. Remember what I said about Ashley's mom being a nurse? Well that's her cover job. She's actually a scientist working for Umbrella. That's what I'm going for.

Well Ashley might or might not know that. But I did have an actual nurse role play a nurse in Arklay, and started working on medication for some primitive antivirus. Perhaps his mah and her were working together on the project. Of course, Ashley would not know that much, yet.

Hmmm. Maybe. But I'm still banking on Ashley's mom being one of the creators of the T-Virus. Or was it the G-Virus? Remember The Birkins from The Darkside Chronicles? Yeah. Something like that.

The mother is a bad guy with good intentions. Like William Birkin before he was mutated.

Coooool. With this roleplay I'm trying to have as much a vibe as possible with the other games. Like the intense high adrenaline action and epic dramatic moments of games like The Dark Side Chronicles and Resident Evil 6. And the intense creepiness of Resident Evil 1 and 2. Heavy action and drama. Before the whole SPOND thing happens. Lol.

Oh hell yea. Your character gonna make a good friend with Kordell. But dude, it can get very rough. It won't get to be hardcore like you think until after SPOND Training. Like, when JDrew's character is done with her SPOND training, gets that first VR-World op done, and is qualified for the off realm unit, the hardcoreness is gonna be no joke. Your Ashley (Dang, two Ashley's, lol), is going to be needing to pick a career type. In SPOND, like all military forces, there is the Enlisted route (Technical/Specialist), and then the Officer route (Educated/Leader). Of course, SPOND requires any field medic course. And then, any basic military training, then SPOND basic training, then the hardcore SPOND training. The last part, 99% of trainees die in that training stage. But, the training has a very high combat success rate.
Your current situation with Kordell, ground in that tunnel is all about waiting. We can skip ahead, or role play the boring wait game part. In that tunnel, it is cool, humid, and without a jacket, you will begin to shiver. Kordell is probably going to start shivering soon, as is Ashley, but that won't be for a while. For them, it won't seem creepy, until they encounter some scary things. And you WILL encounter some very scary things. both characters are definitely not prepared for Raccoon City. In a realm without the dimension traveling, they do die for sure. So, they died in another reality. But in this, you get to live, for now, lol.

I just had another brilliant idea. What if,those Umbrella Agents(think Hunk and Delta Squad),were sent by Ashley's mother to pick him up? The mother would've found an "antivirus" and wants to test it on him. Meanwhile,Ashley and Kordell encounter said agents, and while not knowing their true mission, they flee. But in the end, they are captured, and Ashley's mother uses the anti-virus to combat the T-Virus but instead even more things happen. Ashley is mutated. But it's more like Sherry Birkin mutated. Oh. And Ashley would've been infected long before this and the reason Ashley's mother knew about it anyway is that she planted a small device that kept track of Ashley's life signs. And GPS tracking as well. Anyway. Kordell escapes from his cell, frees Ashley (with Ashley unaware of the mutation since he was unconscious most of the time)they attempt to flee the Umbrella labs encountering heavy resistance as well as lots of B.O.W.s and before everything goes to sh** they are rescued by a SPOND team. What do you think? Can something like this happen? Let me know what you think.

Players aren't supposed to plan the story, lol. I can't do that because you came up with it, lol. There is no unknowns for you as a player. A scenario like that could be made into a sort of story that Ashley, as a character, could write. Perhaps Ashley could make a diary, inspired by the events she encounters in the role play, kind of like some of the ones I posted in the "In Character" area.
As it is, I've got something cool for you. But I can't tell you, because it would ruin it all.
Though, realistically, any SPOND teams in Raccoon now are not aware of Ashley or anyone native to the Resident Evil realm.
Role playing is like acting. You become your character, adopt their personality, enter their perspective, and play their role. Poor Ashley only knows about his mom being a nurse, and dad being a cop. (Chief of Police, LOL, kidding).
