She didn’t appear to be in good shape, she’s on the verge of dying.
Dixie: “Just carry her there carefully, you need to be back on board ! The elders will know what to do for her when we go back to the town !” She isn’t taking a no for an answer. “You have hounds coming your way ! I can’t stop them and either can you ! There’s too many !” You hear the distant snarls and hot spots passing through in the distance, going over sparse tree trucked hill tops as they approach. “Come on !” The waypoint doesn’t seem out of reach. You can hear the blades of the chopper snapping as it begins to turn back. There isn’t much time. The enemy looks as if they are just stumbling around, unable to see.

I take her, gingerly as I may to the way point. But I feel this urge. Something I feel like I need to do. I know not of the limitations of my telepathic abilities. Yet as I am walking I let the carnage fade away, in a meditative like state, I attempt to let go. I reach out to Farenvoí’s fading mind, hoping to attempt to switch places with it so that her semblance not have a chance to be gone. But rather put myself up as the lamb for sacrifice. Just as she’s controlled me before, I would allow her to do it again, for if one of us is to survive, surely it should be the one who’s fought the longest, right?

As you effortlessly carry her, careful not to cause any harm, you swiftly maneuver past the seemingly oblivious Evokers. Their vacant expressions betray their lack of awareness as you slip by undetected. The sound of grenade launchers fills the air, their metallic clicks signaling the unleashing of destruction. In the distance, the deep thumps reverberate, providing a reassuring rhythm that assures your escape is secure.
As the chopper hovers above the designated clearing, its powerful rotors stirring up the surrounding air, you witness the culmination of your daring plan. The deafening roar of the engines is momentarily drowned out by the launch of four rockets, each one streaking across the sky with fiery determination. One of them impacts perilously close, sending shockwaves through the ground and echoing with a thunderous boom. The aftermath is a symphony of destruction as you hear the cascade of something falling through the trees.
In this exhilarating moment, your senses heighten, attuned to every detail. The snapping of tree trunks, crushed under the weight of an unseen behemoth, acts as a primal trigger, igniting a surge of natural adrenaline coursing through your veins. Amidst the chaos, your eyes catch a glimpse of the cable, its faint glow emanating from an unknown source of heat. The FLIR effortlessly guides your gaze, pinpointing the cable's location with its vivid thermal imagery, prompting you to hook on. However, she is without a harness.

You feel like you can easily hold her, even in one arm if needed. You know there is limited time, so removing yours will risk both of your lives, and that big object that crash landed in the trees isn’t too reassuring.

Within the dense forest, strewn with fallen trees and an air heavy with anticipation, your gaze fixates on the very creature Dixie had been engaging in a fierce battle. The mighty dragon, a combination of wounded fury and undying determination, lies struggling to rise in its injured state. Its fiery eyes lock onto your presence, an unsettling mix of embarrassed helplessness and seething anger.
In the midst of this suspenseful encounter, you realize with a surge of alarm that the gunners manning the helicopter's grenade launchers have yet to notice the dragon's presence. Their attention focused elsewhere, oblivious to the imminent danger that looms just beyond their line of sight. Tension thickens the air as the realization dawns upon you that time is of the essence. If the helicopter fails to ascend swiftly, the dragon will find itself in the perfect position to unleash its devastating breath weapon or launch a ferocious bite, both capable of unimaginable destruction.
Every second becomes a harrowing race against fate, as your senses heighten, capturing the smallest nuances in the dragon's movements. The acrid smell of helicopter exhaust smoke mingles with the earthy scent of decaying foliage and freshly destroyed wood and foliage, intensifying the atmosphere of imminent danger. Up is t wonky thing you need, and the winch isn’t fast enough.
