You are under the bridge, or what was left of it. There is no cover other than the tree line deeper into the woods or off to the side in the water. If the giants spot the trapped wolf, they’ll probably kill it. Another wolf walks up. It doesn’t appear hostile, though looks sad. They both look up at you with sorrow in their eyes. Their ears move in the direction of the approaching giants. A soft whine from the one not trapped can be heard as it looks in the direction of the giants, and it sits, as if to wait for whatever happens. It’ll also take too long to cross back to the other side. They whine when you look away to walk away.
Intel check.

You know the giants, if they hear splashing, or see a wake in the distance, will most likely run to the location and investigate. You know the team has taken cover. The wolves are being quiet, however, they might draw the attention of the other dogs in the distant if they cry out from being killed by the giants. The wolves don’t appear to be hostile. In fact, they seem much more larger and intelligent than normal wolves. You notice that you have a small cutting tool on your vest, perfect for cutting barbed wire and gates, among other things (chains too).

The wolves are right next to you on the other side of the bridge, just under where the bridge would be above before it goes to the land. Like that spot folks usually hide from tornados. But, this bridge don’t have a road going over it, so it’s exposed to the sky.

“*Sigh* Cap cover me if you can. I’m doing something stupid from intuition.” I take off to the wolves with the wire clippers out. When I get to them, I approach with my hands open to show no harm.

Roll Dex for operating the tool. The wolves do not show fear or distrust. The other turns to face the approaching giants.
Captain Davis: “When they reach half way we will engage if you haven’t moved.” He assures.

You clip the wires, which causes it to softly moan, but then it is out, and both rush up to lick you and show affection before running off, though the one you clipped free has a mild limp and turns as if to wait for you.

I shake my head and point in the direction of the giants.

They start to walk toward the tree line, away from the giants. The giants have reached the bridge.
Captain Davis: “Caston, you good ?”

Captain Davis: “No s***. Are you concealed where you are ?” One of the giants enters the water, hanging onto the bridge for support, and begins to cross. “Giant, right on you, can you get out or do you need distraction ?” He whispers back as if he’s near you.

“Distraction.” I speak as I move a bit back into the shadows.

Captain Davis: “We will distract when they’ve gone half way. Hyla, M-203 at the ready. Fire at lead one on my mark.”
2nd Lt. Hyla: “Standing by.”
The lead giant reaches the first pylon.
